My Health My Resources (MHMR) is a CARF accredited mental and behavioral health network. They have several locations, including the Tarrant Mid Cities Clinic in North Richland Hills, Texas. Here, they specialize in treating children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and families who are struggling with mental health conditions and chemical dependency
If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need.

I am so lucky to be able to go here and get medicine. It took a few years to get the meds right but it was worth it. I am happier than I have ever been and I don't feel worthless anymore. The people who work here deserve medals because I have seen them keep their cool around some nasty people. And I was one of those nasty people in the beginning. Thank god for this place and the people who run it. I'm so happy they didn't give up on me.

Came here suffering from very bad depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. Left here with bad depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, trust issues and more debt. I honestly believed that the people here wanted to help, but now I firmly believe I was told to come as often as my therapist said to so they could bill me the max amount they could, thank goodness I didn't listen to their suggestions about in patient treatment. I already had such a hard time finding a therapist and had the start of some hope that maybe I could get help. Maybe if I had been more firm about knowing how much it would cost I could have saved myself a lot of pain. I'm now more hopeless than ever and have no plans to ever seek out therapy again, I don't think I can ever trust a therapist again. So thanks for that

I have had the best experience a mother could hope for at a treatment center. My daughter is healthy, happy and moving on to sober living. My son attended court ordered treatment centers without results. Cenikor is different. Counseling is one on one and the people are kind and helpful. Also, extremely honest and resourceful.

I’ve been bringing my son here since January, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. We consistently spend more time in the waiting room than in the actual appointment. I was never informed that this was a virtual-only setup, and the sessions feel more like quick medication check-ins rather than actual therapy. There’s been no guidance or tools offered to help me support my child in managing his ADHD. It’s also extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. It took an unreasonable amount of time just to receive a simple letter confirming his ADHD diagnosis for the school. When I try to reschedule, I’m told to “do a walk-in,” but given how behind appointments usually are, I don’t feel confident that would be handled any better. Now, my son is on a prescribed medication that cannot be stopped abruptly due to the severe side effects it causes when missed, and I can’t get anyone on the phone to schedule his refill appointment. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when it involves a child’s mental health and well-being.

I had an amazing experience with NP Ubabuco. I recently moved from Florida and attended an IOP program under the care of a psychiatrist. I didn’t agree with prior diagnoses and we discussed why I felt that way and NP Unabuco was able to give his input on what possibly led to those diagnoses. For the first time in my mental health journey I felt heard. I am excited to continue and feel that I am in the best place for care. Staff were extremely helpful as well. 10/10 ✨

Before learning about this place; I had very limited knowledge about what programs I would be qualified for (I’m a veteran) I assumed just the VA (for medical ) and I never gave it much thought past that . Finding out about the RRC has dramatically changed my life for the better; and I’m profoundly grateful. Prior to going there -I had lost my job and was about to be added to the ranks of the newly homeless (Depending on how you define “ homeless” in some people’s eyes, I would’ve already been there. I was staying on the floor of a gym at a church where I would clean every night in exchange for sleeping there. I was too stubborn to go to a homeless shelter, because the one thing I had left in my life that I had no intention of leaving was my cat. Me and Cleo have been together a long time- she’s my family. Fast forward almost a year. I have my own car; my own apartment (cat friendly! ) I make a little income online but also searching for a job (it’s hard to maintain a job if you can’t wash your clothes or have a place to stay) RRC didn’t do EVERYTHING for me - But I can honestly say I would not be where I’m at now without them. And although it’s a government agency, I have not met a bad employee from there- My caseworker, Amanda Jones; has went out of her way numerous times to help me-These people care about their clients and they do whatever they can to help them- If you are a veteran and you need help, they should be the first people you call. You won’t regret it. I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me.. Thank you RRC and Especially AMANDA!! William (Former squid; GMG - USS Wabash)

I’m meeting them in the middle, my family has had both good and bad experiences. Different providers, different experiences. I have had a bad experience in the urgent care one time, it was close to time for them to leave. The provider had an attitude and treated me like I was annoying for being there. I ended up going to the ER. My son has ADHD and when we moved here from Ny drs flat out refused to give him his meds he was on for years and flipped his whole world upside down, which was annoying. The one provider in the led clinic is awkward, not bad just awkward and straight to the point. His behavioral health nurse practitioner is very nice lady, I don’t always agree with her but she listens. The neurologist I saw on base was nice, quick to hear me and get me out of the door. It’s mostly the receptionists at the clinics that aren’t friendly or welcoming. They always look miserable, and the first impression you get is everyone here is miserable. The ladies in the lab were friendly and quick. My PA, is friendly and always listens to my concerns, if he can’t answer them he happily gives me a referral out. Now the referral process is another thing…. Pain in the rear!!

My experience with Homeward bound back in the day was a great one. I was in the process of trying to be admitted recently and it ended up taking 4 days before I was told no. I have the distinct problem of taking benzodiazepines and being addicted to Fentanyl. This facility is for simple detox only. They have other programs but my experience is with the detox part. I like the people they are great but they have their limits and they know it. Listen when the nurse sends you away and keeps making you jump through hoops. That is her passive aggressive no and im not sure why they dont just say no instead of making people go to doctors and get prescriptions changed just so the nurse can bring in security and tell you they don't think you will be able to come to the program after all. Detoxing off benzos and opiates was too much for them. This isn't a resort set up not a vacation. DETOX ! BRING CIGARETTES ! YOU SMOKE AFTER EVERY MEAL AND PEOPLE WANNA BUM one every meal. This place is good for a simple detox. No bells no whistles you get in you get out. the staff is very nice they help you get funding or you set up a payment plan but funding is available. The kitchen has decent meals three times a day. After every meal you get smoke breaks. There are no groups you don't have to sit in group at all for any reason .They put out desserts for snacks in between meals for all the sugar addicts. It's a 5 to 7-Day detox depending on the funding and how much you got in your system Max is 7 days.

They can't tell you anything about the patient without the patient number. You can't get the patient number because nobody that can give you the number will answer the phone. After I found out she was still there I tried to make a visit but all visits must be scheduled a day in advance. That means I can't come back for a week at least. I am unimpressed with this not very good start.

Worst treatment experience. “You probably think you’re thinner than you are.” -Tennie Who says that to someone? I went there because I was struggling with substance abuse but did have issues with disordered eating, so I figured it be beneficial. It was anything BUT that. I came home worse than I was before I went in. You do not treat people with eating disorders by FORCING them to exercise daily and weighing their food. I don’t think I have anything positive to say about the place except I did meet some lovely people but they were patients as well. Steer clear and find a REAL treatment facility to spend your money at.

Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas Fort Worth Men’s Rehab Center was established in 2008 and is located on a 7.5-acre campus just outside Fort Worth, Texas, (in Azle). @GDM Doesn't God do that everywhere? I understand you and many others had, do and will have life changing spiritual experiences. Kudos. But my point is it's not the place, building or location, no offense, but not even so the staff. I sat that because the staff can only point the way and the process which is the same for all Christians. The order doesn't matter as much as like you said a truly sincere request and the effort without reservation....I know God absolutely can and does heal people from addiction in the blink of an eye a true miracle for some very few some, pray one time and poof instant transformation....but that is a slippery slope that in my experience most will fall right back into a sinful life. Because they haven't done the actions of truly first admitting their sins to those they have sinned against and second atone for the sins .....Too many people just skip right over this and it's crucial a must do to the best of our ability make right as best we our wrongs, pay back, fix, replace...whatever words you want to use, but a physical action with tangible evidence. As best we can to the best of our ability no matter what the other person or business says ...it took me years to learn this lesson....I'd be beat down and come back like the prodigal son.... completely avoid those I knew either wouldn't forgive me or the price of the debt was more than I was willing pay BACK. Emphasis on back because I had stolen, broken or taking or inquired damage to the other already I set the price of correcting my sins not them, understand? So there's that. Then one must "pick up their cross" and "daily" increase and strengthen faith and obedience to God by following Christ very clear and direct teachings....all right there in The Lord's Prayer. Problem is lots of people just want to pray the prayer, loudly and proudly shout they're belief in Jesus and use "no works will get ya into heaven".....and how dare anyone who doesn't forgive me like Jesus did and y'all are going to hell....I personally have only met one person at 55 years old numerous treatment centers of all types, that that persons one prayer brought a miraculous transformation and they were completely healed never to use drugs or commit seriously bad sins again....every other person I've met and that's in the hundreds for sure has been healed, recovered or transformed until they put the effort into the actions and sincerely beyond the shadow of a doubt admit to themselves and God that their self will and strength without Christ will only lead to sin every time all the time. I know we say to ourselves why does that person seem to get away with everything and have more things and money and easier life than us....well because they are going to pay the ultimate price with their soul in the end of them....these days even publicly stating they made that deal with the devil....so we must sincerely admit to ourselves our sins because only us and God truly know but there must be that third party and speaking your sins out loud....just praying in your head without that witness or the action of atonement your not clean enough to receive the Holy Spirit....and yes I get it's our nature to sin and we will never be as innocent as The Lamb of God.....however if you want to put your soul on the line and put all your chips betting well since no works get ya a ticket.....and you definitely believe in Jesus and release yourself from any responsibility or accountability well I hope your correct....but I guess we'll see....you very well may be....but how's your life been working out in the meantime? If your living in the Kingdom of Heaven here now on earth like Jesus says it is? Or is your life still a train wreck and you still keep trying to get to God your way? Picking and choosing what Bible verses you, if you were God, would apply to you....The devil made me do it and I believe in Jesus and my sins are covered and no works will get me in.....mmmhhhmmm that never worked for me or anyone save that one man I've ever met....what I have experienced myself and see daily all around

Here God grants true repentance for those who sincerely ask, and Jesus sets people free from the addiction to sin. On this campus there is a Holy Spirit filled intensity for loving Jesus and righteousness and for hating wickedness and sin.

Besides the initial wait time, my daughter and I have always received great service from this place. The doctor is very attentive, compassionate and professional. Everyone else - from front desk to medical assistants, social workers, pharmacist and tech - are always very nice and helpful. The wait time has gotten a lot better, too. Would recommend to anyone seeking therapy/treatment for mental health.
