As a recovery professional, I’m very intentional about where I refer my clients. I recently referred a client with substance use disorder , significant trauma and co-occurring mental health concerns to Santé Center for Healing, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the care she received. What stood out most was that her treatment never felt like a cookie-cutter program. Discovery Point Retreat is an excellent facility. I am the custodian of a friend who is in recovery and went here and saw the way they treat the clients is always very friendly, its like you are a part of their own family, especially the RC from Brooklyn, he was a real savior. I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track. I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year. BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest... I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

Not proud to admit I have been to treatment several times, but I am proud to admit that valley hope has been an amazing place to go. Staff is amazing from nursing thru administration. The follow up support has been better than my AA sponsor. I would recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction. Staff care and work hard to help. Groups are focused on individuals needs as well as the whole group. They encouraged us to learn and grow from each other's successes and even failures. When I struggled they accommodated me and helped me with the extra help I needed. They also find services for additional help or higher level of care if needed. Side note: I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were for inpatient and children's services this location in Plano doesn't even offer at this time or never offered. I'm assuming many of the people were looking for the main hospital in Carrollton to review and made a mistake.

Partial Hospitalization program was very lovely and informative and important for my growth mentally. Very lovely and kind and patient staff. They support you as long as you communicate and even catch when you don’t clearly communicate with words. They are quick, efficient and not just for the money. 10/10 totally recommend this for treatment mentally. Update: I just clipped my nails with a nail trimmer for the first time in my life. I’ve always been an anxious nail biter. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been to over 20 different inpatient stays, and Carrollton springs is by far my favorite Inpatient program. Great staff, great food, great experience. 10/10. They’re more than happy to help in active crisis. Special shout out to Dr. B, who saw my symptoms, quickly and accurately assessed me and got my meds regulated. I feel soooo much better, I feel and act like myself again. I really appreciate it and so do my loved ones. Happy to be back functioning again! ☺️

I’ve been to green house in patient before coming to greenhouse out patient. Hands down the best experience for my recovery. Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.

This is a great facility and program. The staff is amazing! I took off one star because the billing department at corporate is incompetent. Make sure you are well educated on your insurance coverage and know the financial process at the center ahead of time to avoid stress and frustration.

As of now there’s only 1 nurse working & she’s doing a great job! The rest of the staff is great aswell and have always been very helpful if I’ve ever needed anything. To the one nurse that’s by herself, I feel bad for her but she’s doing what she can to make sure everyone gets taken care of & she’s doing an awesome job of it.

Overall a good place with good people. Only real problem is that almost all the washers and dryers are broke. Hopefully they will get fixed soon. Otherwise would recommend this to place to anyone trying to get sober.

I was admitted to the Psych Ward (hopefully this is the right place to put the review) a little over a year ago because I was withdrawing from a drug (I'll be coy about which one it was, but those in the know can probably guess and whittle it down to one or two classes of drug) I no longer wanted to take that can cause death if the withdrawal is not handled medically. The staff at the psych ward for medical city Frisco are probably why I'm alive with a healthy body (I've lost a lot of weight since as well, another good side effect of quiting the drug was that I no longer would gain weight because of it) and doing well today and have not had to take said drug again to manage my condition. I feel morally obligated to thank the mental health and psychiatry people at Medical City Frisco for how well they handled my emergency. Also, the facilities at this hospital (not just the Psych Ward, I took a little stroll through the whole place as I was leaving) are truly next level. This is BY FAR the nicest looking architecturally and probably most advanced technological hospital I've ever visited (for myself or as a visitor for family). If you need truly top tier care, you can't go wrong with the Medical City hospital chain in my opinion, and especially their new Frisco branch, which is even more impressive than the one in Plano. Individual care and whatnot is of course going to depend on things like which doctor you get...but the facilities are truly really cool here and that IS something to take into account if you have an emergency. I imagine every good doctor in the DFW area wants to work here, and so the quality of care may be correlated to the facility quality, which is top notch. Hopefully others receive the same quality of care I received. If you are having a psychotic episode or other severe mental health issue that requires hospitalization, then please consider a Medical City hospital and especially their Frisco branch if you have the ability to choose the location of your stay. Also, the food while I was staying was really good. Just a little thing I know, but it goes to show they don't skimp anywhere in their treatment.

The nurses, therapists, and technicians are great here. I spoke with a doctor one time during my loved one’s stay. They definitely push to medicate, so if you are not comfortable just voice your concerns and request a more thorough diagnosis. I was able to contact my loved one and they were able to call me anytime. I was able to see my loved one 3x a week but I had to sign up via signup genius in order to do so. Definitely read their policies thoroughly. We unfortunately came through intake around 3 am and I was very tired and missed a few rules. It makes visits and dropping off clothes easier if you read. While I recommend this hospital, one piece of advice is for aftercare. Definitely do your research on PHP and IOP programs because they are not all as good as this hospital.

Probably one of the best psychiatrist, The pleasure of meeting and dealing with Dr.Rust. “Marisa Rust” she had a true understanding of the psychological perspective And intuition asked to what could be happening and how she could help. Dr.Rust understood where I was coming from in a way I’ve never had experienced before with other psychiatrist in the past. She had very good insight as to what she was talking about and you can tell him that she really cared about what she was doing and it showed I’ve not seen this in any psychiatrist. I’ve worked with so far and it was pretty impressive, but not only this she is also very friendly and Relatable which goes hand with her work and how well she does in it. If you’re feeling nervous about what psychiatrist to pick or antsy about your typical psychiatrist office, maybe they could be standoffish or maybe intimidating I could highly recommend Marisa Rust, She was extremely easy to communicate with and easy going And understandable as to what you could be going through not coming from a Harsh criticism perspective, but from a intuitive knowledgeable approach to her work Creating a very friendly and safe environment for you the patient to have much success as possible for your own mental health in the long run. Highly recommended just off my first appointment with her I was impressed And blow blown away by the understanding and Comfort atmosphere She helps great with you the client. I went here on a Monday to take a friend of mine to her appointment, and it was extremely busy. The wait was definitely very long, but I will say the receptionists were very nice, sweet, and professional. Anytime we asked about the wait, they were willing to give us an update, which I appreciated. I also want to give a special shoutout to the Black woman with the braids working at the front. I witnessed a client give her the worst attitude simply because she explained that the next available appointments were pretty far out. The way that woman was treating her was completely unnecessary. I really commend the women working up there because they are doing their jobs and dealing with a lot of people throughout the day. Some clients can have the nastiest attitudes toward staff who are simply trying to do their jobs and help them. The wait may have been long, but I definitely think the staff deserves recognition for remaining patient, professional, and respectful despite how some customers treated them.

Well I got my self in a little bind I had to look for counseling in AA and NA for Help , I called around in my area couldn’t find a center where I could get Intensive outpatient help and was able to contact Sunshine Care Centers in Arlington Tx I called and Mr David happened to answer the call, by the way Mr David, happened to be the Owner, I informed him my issued and informed him what I needed , he immediately asked for my information and insurance and told me he was going to verify insurance and he would call me back in 5-10 minutes ,I’m pleased to inform you he returned my call in5 minutes,asked me when did I want to begin well got incontact Thursday, and began my Intensive Outpatient Counseling appointment the following day on Friday I met my Counselor Miss,Micheale Merriot, she is very understanding she walks with you through the whole process If whenever I need help again I will definitely give them a call Again Thank you Juan P Martinez The Truck Driver over the road

Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I’m writing this review without any idea how to express my gratitude. Sunshine was not the first place I called to help my friend but they are the place that gave me hope that maybe he would finally have a chance. I had been trying for over 2 years to help my friend get to recovery and everytime there was a closed door at some point of the process.. Whether it be $$ or programs or people on the other end of the phone unwillingness to help. I came across Sunshine Care Center with absolute defeat written all over me by the time I called them.. and there it was someone willing to not only to be the only other person on my team but to help me navigate what to do who to call how to help my friend with his addiction. I can’t put into words how much it meant to me to find a center that is truly there to help people that cannot help themselves. Beautiful people that work here with beautiful hearts. I just want to say this place saved my life it has helped me so so so much and I went from being a fent and heroin addict who was BAD BAD into addiction this disease we have is not an easy thing and neither is living in a constant hell of withdraw and misery. But when you do the work and have a great support system like this place offers truly turns you from a monster so to speak back into the person you were always meant to be.. so I just want to say thank you to Bryan and Haley and the rest of the staff located here. Without a great counselor and without a great nurse there is not point but every single person there is a great hard working and understanding above all else. So lastly I’m not sure how many of y’all are religious but I will say from my own exsperiance that the higher power at work whoever you might believe or whatever you might believe gave me the strength to walk in there with nothing to loose and at the lowest of the low and the dr and the rest of the team took it from there. REMEMBER IT ALL STARTS AND ENDS WITH YOU . It is your responsibility to stick with it and trust me I swear to god above it works if you work it and I am 💯 % better than where I was. This is a terrific place. I thank god everyday for these people and the patience and understanding that they have.
