Everything about this place has been above and beyond! I'm a pretty demanding human being and a bit hard to deal with and with class and grace every single staff member has been wonderful, professional, and done an outstanding job, to make sure my needs and my road to recovery has been meet to the best of their abilities! The classes and the educational aspect of this place is also very informative and helpful... I was impressed with the counselors and how they handle indiscretions between other girls with all the different personalities as well!!! Over all very good company and would recommend 1000%.

This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff are there with you through it all, whether it be a Residential Assistant or a Nurse or your own Clinician you are never doing it alone. They've Got You all the way through to the end. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. What they do here is life-changing. I have personally witnessed someone go from a place of addiction to being healthy, sober, happy, and truly living again. At the beginning of 2019 i could have never imagined how the year would end. Our daughter had been struggling with addiction since college. Her therapist recommended BARC and when she came out of the recovery center, she was not even close to the person she went in as. She embraced the program and did the work to better herself and her life. Fast forward to 2026, she is still sober and is living a full life now with a supportive husband and two beautiful daughters. She still puts in the work to stay sober but learned how to do this through BARC.

This place saved my life. The staff is amazing, the treatment is very in-depth. They don’t just hand you a book and let it ride. They teach you all about the book and really work with you to get that stuff inside of you that’s killing you out!!! I am forever grateful to house 4 and the staff that helped me heal! I couldn’t say enough great things about BARC. House 3 is where my entire life changed and changed for the better. I learned so much about myself, alcoholism / addiction and exactly how it affected me. When you understand “The Stickman” then it all starts making sense. The staff at BARC is amazing. They don’t just talk about alcoholism / addiction that they’ve learned from a book. Everyone there has been there before and knows first hand what they are talking about and teaching. There is not a place on earth I could recommend more highly than BARC for recovery. BARC was where my rebirth happened and if you’re looking for a place to make that change it can be the place of your rebirth as well. 12/16/2025 is my sobriety birthday If you’re rally lucky, when you’re there one of your brothers in the house will know how and like to cook like me. lol 😂

This is my favorite place on earth!! It's where I showed up with nothing and completely hopeless, to being over 2 years free from alcohol and drugs. I truly believe the magic happens when people who are hopeless and have given up, come to a place like BARC, and start working together and share each other's experiences!! I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I'd recommend to anyone I know. they stick to the values they have but greatly exceed them. they truly love their clients... now I'm a changed man and can chase my dreams to the fullest.
