I just left this place last week, and I loved my time there. It truly helped me a lot I moved on to the next steps of the program but I genuinely miss it there. Chef is amazing and a lot of the therapists and staff are great.

DPR was truly an amazing experience. They genuinely care about you and your recovery journey. Lucus pours his heart into this place and it shows. Cindy, TJ and JJ were extremely supportive and personable. The nurses, Amanda, Kenya, Bradie, and Kate were so kind and helpful. And of course Drew and Star were a highlight with the awesome food they prepared and had really great insight. It is truly a gem in the recovery community.

I don’t even know where to begin. This treatment center is truly changing lives. My husband attended their program during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced, and I can confidently say they gave us hope and confidence in his recovery.
From day one, the staff treated him with compassion and dignity. They weren’t just professionals—they were caring, patient, and truly passionate about helping people rebuild their lives. The counselors went above and beyond, not just helping him work through addiction, but helping him rediscover who he is without it.
What meant the most to me as a spouse was how they kept family involved and supported throughout the process. I felt heard and understood. This wasn’t just treatment—it was transformation.

Texas health recovery and wellness center helped my wife to recover from 22 years of alcohol use. The staff were kind and gracious. The alumni and family aftercare programs are helping both of us in moving forward in her recovery process. My wife said that what she learned there was instrumental in keeping her sober. In terms of the facility, it was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs help.

I found the genuine care and heartfelt compassion that the entire Treehouse staff gave me was far superior to other centers I had been to. They didn't make me conform to a pre-set form of treatment. They listened to what I needed and met me where I was at, allowing for more personalized treatment.

Basepoint has been everything we needed and I wish I found them sooner! I was scared to call and not be able to afford a stellar program for my kid - but they offered a payment plan that fit my budget and removed that hurdle for me quickly. Please don’t let fear of cost keep you from making an appointment! the day we had our intake appointment I cried happy tears knowing my child was finally somewhere GOOD! They even offer transportation to and from the program which is so helpful! Que is the best driver around! The staff has an amazing way of connecting, getting on their level and truly mapping out their success WITH them and not just FOR them. My child felt very hands on with her healing which made a huge impact. They listened to my concerns and observations at home and helped build a real village for me as we went through this. Courtney was my child’s counselor and we wish we could keep her forever! So many breakthroughs and advances in mindset were achieved by how she conducts her connections. Marleny made handling our ISD so smooth; both she and Courtney helped fight for things we needed upon her return to school. Miss Kim the program specialist always made her look forward to coming in person. Crystal at the front desk was always welcoming, helpful and has the lobby smelling like a 5 star resort! We are sad to leave our new found village but are grateful for where life is headed with bigger dreams, bigger tools and better familial communication than when we enrolled. Basepoint Breakthrough has been exactly what I needed. The staff here is so kind, and their focus is always on what is best for you and your specific journey. They work hard to provide the upmost care that best fits your needs. I was so impressed at the communication and dedication at Basepoint as well. I was never left out of the loop of my care. Devan is the best therapist I have had, and she worked with me on healthy coping skills and how to reframe my thinking. I will always be so grateful for Basepoint. I visited the Dallas VA Medical Center Emergency Department and received excellent care from the moment I arrived. The staff was professional, attentive, and efficient throughout my visit.
The team explained everything clearly, ensured I understood my care plan, and made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The facility itself was clean, modern, and one of the nicest VA locations I’ve been to.

I had lost my wife, lost my children, and my will to live. I was in bed begging for death to come. It would not... Two friends from AA set it up for me to come here for treatment. I have been to so many others and felt it a waste I just wasn't meant to get "IT", I was hopeless. Instead of death coming for me, Don and Dwain came to my house and loaded me up. I came here and worked the 12 steps of AA. I learned how this program should be worked and how i was to live. It is a simple but not easy program of "action." I never knew, and the others never taught it. I can never repay them for their efforts, I am walking proof that we can be Recovered and Free. Sick of the struggle? Done fighting? I was and RAF did it for me (finally). The staff was very accommodating, experienced and they truly care for every client's recovery.
I would say it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, yet one of the most rewarding. Please consider this: 90 days is NOTHING to invest in the rest of your life. The teaching that Don Radon and staff do is top notch and completely based on the Big Book of A.A. I worked the steps for the first time and it was eye opening on not just my venture towards sobriety, but about "me" as a person. If you are looking for equine therapy, daily, massages, and pats on the head...then this might not be for you. But if you are looking for a LONG TERM LIFE solution, and you've finally HAD ENOUGH, then this is for you! When I look back on my stay, I have memories - both tough ones and but also life memories that I'll never forget. All you need for RAF to be a success like it was for me is willingness!

i needed help BAD and i called the crisis after hours line and a lady answered the phone and when i was telling her my thoughts, she hung up in my face. i took a deep breath and called again and Clint answered the phone in a sweet loving voice and was able to calm me down. he listened, set me up an early appointment for the next day and even picked me up. i wish i could give this location more than 5 stars. my special thanks goes to Clint. he doesnt know how much he saved my life.

My experience with Homeward bound back in the day was a great one. I was in the process of trying to be admitted recently and it ended up taking 4 days before I was told no. I have the distinct problem of taking benzodiazepines and being addicted to Fentanyl. This facility is for simple detox only. They have other programs but my experience is with the detox part. I like the people they are great but they have their limits and they know it. Listen when the nurse sends you away and keeps making you jump through hoops. That is her passive aggressive no and im not sure why they dont just say no instead of making people go to doctors and get prescriptions changed just so the nurse can bring in security and tell you they don't think you will be able to come to the program after all. Detoxing off benzos and opiates was too much for them. This isn't a resort set up not a vacation. DETOX ! BRING CIGARETTES ! YOU SMOKE AFTER EVERY MEAL AND PEOPLE WANNA BUM one every meal. This place is good for a simple detox. No bells no whistles you get in you get out. the staff is very nice they help you get funding or you set up a payment plan but funding is available. The kitchen has decent meals three times a day. After every meal you get smoke breaks. There are no groups you don't have to sit in group at all for any reason .They put out desserts for snacks in between meals for all the sugar addicts. It's a 5 to 7-Day detox depending on the funding and how much you got in your system Max is 7 days.

Homeward Bound was the greatest experience I have ever been involved with, I love the food and they bus the clients to church 2 times a week and they feed you at both churches, I love 2nd Chance over in farmers branch, the staff is Amazing, Ms. Stephanie, Ms Donna, and the counselors that I didn't mention I love y'all, Ms Michelle, Ms Melissa, Mr.Darrell , AC in detox the entire nursing staff Mr. Mark the driver, I am still doing well, may Homeward Bound continue to be Blessed to keep saving lives. My 16 year old daughter was on a path of destruction. She had been trying to stop the addictive behaviors on her own but ended up self medicating because of the stress from trying to stop. Her grades were suffering at school and she was pulling away from family. She ran away which was the last straw. We took her to Sundown Ranch and we are very grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Echols and all of the staff & counselors. The staff truly care about the residents. My daughter has returned home and is transitioning into life at home. I don't believe that she would have been as successful if she had not gone to Sundown Ranch.

My daughter has been in and out of hospitals/rehab for the last 5 years, and this is the first place that saw through her "fake it to make it" bs and really worked on why she is so unhappy.
I can't tell you the difference I have seen in my daughter! They really help the "whole" self and push the kids to go past their walls.
The counselors are the best I have ever encountered. They can really tell who is BSing or not, and help them feel safe in telling what is really in their mind without felling like they are going to be judged.
The ROPES program they have also is great for kids that do not have any confidence or trust anyone. My daughter started off slowly, but is now really working on her trust issues due to ROPES and the counselors follow up after ROPES.
The parent weekends once a month are in my mind essential to helping the parents learn more about the diseases of addiction/psych problems, and trying to see it through your child's eyes.

My daughter stayed here for a week, and the intake process was excellent. I want call her name, but there was a lady who prayed with my daughter. I thank you so much. They made me feel at ease. It was hard leaving her there, but she needed help. She was extremely nervous at first, but she quickly grew comfortable. She liked her therapist and really enjoyed the group therapy sessions. She also connected with other patients she could relate to. The nurses were very helpful and took the time to explain the process and how everything worked. I was able to speak with the staff whenever I needed to, and they were always supportive. You must follow their policy and procedure. My daughter wanted to stay for the 10-day program, so it helped her. She’s not completely cured yet, but the foundation has been set. I just need continued follow-up and support through the outside resources they provide. There were a few things I didn't like. It can be replaced.

I was held in unit 8 teens unit for 14 days it was the most miserable days of my life. I hated it here. The food sucked. There are so many rules and I was there for a odnot once. Did they talk? About suicide the weird group times then there’s stupid stupid rules honestly But I didn’t get Will say that I’m gonna have to be more respectful, but I’m just saying this please it’s good if you really want to change but unless you don’t and you’re just going here for fun of it, I wouldn’t recommend it but it’s really changed me

Went to souls harbor on 8/2/16 broken and lost started drinking at age 13 I was 46 when I got there and I stayed and listened to what was said I have been sober for 8 years now... they saved my life and gave me the tools to stay sober. If you need help call them.and any donations are welcomed

Absolutely wonderful group of people that work here... They're all about helping you get better and back to living a good sober life.. Ben the counselor is the best he's very understanding and considerate, always with a smile and in good spirits... There is a security guard who keeps the place clean and making everyone feel safe.. if your wanting to get free from the opiates then this is the place to come. They're not there to judge anyone their actually there to help you and make you feel comfortable...
