I don’t even know where to begin. This treatment center is truly changing lives. My husband attended their program during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced, and I can confidently say they gave us hope and confidence in his recovery.
From day one, the staff treated him with compassion and dignity. They weren’t just professionals—they were caring, patient, and truly passionate about helping people rebuild their lives. The counselors went above and beyond, not just helping him work through addiction, but helping him rediscover who he is without it.
What meant the most to me as a spouse was how they kept family involved and supported throughout the process. I felt heard and understood. This wasn’t just treatment—it was transformation.

Discovery Point is an amazing place. I’ve only been here for a week, but it already feels like home. A pool, nice gym, great staff, and amazing chefs. Drew (chef) on top of her great cooking, is so positive and always smiling, and Star makes the best desserts - we even get desserts at breakfast when she’s here!! At the support staff and nurses are so kind and patient.

The staff are professional and caring. They continue to care after treatment with alumni activities and check in regularly. Tina was an excellent case manager, Alas leads the veterans and first responders group and helps with all their needs. Burning Tree Ranch is not an easy place—but it’s not supposed to be. This is long-term treatment designed for people who have tried everything else and feel completely out of options. I was at the point where I was dying, unable to stay sober for more than a few months, and Burning Tree gave me the structure and direction I needed.
There were many times I was asked to do things I didn’t understand or didn’t necessarily agree with. But the truth was, my own way wasn’t working. I had to surrender and trust the process. The staff here is dedicated, experienced, and they pushed me in ways I couldn’t have pushed myself.
There are negative reviews out there, but I believe many of them come from people who simply weren’t ready to surrender or follow directions. This program isn’t for everyone, but for those who are truly desperate and ready for real change, it can be life-saving.
Burning Tree saved my life. I am happily sober today, something I never thought was possible.

Hands down one of the VERY best substance abuse treatment centers around! The grounds, the staff, and the cirriculum are absolutely second to none! i needed help BAD and i called the crisis after hours line and a lady answered the phone and when i was telling her my thoughts, she hung up in my face. i took a deep breath and called again and Clint answered the phone in a sweet loving voice and was able to calm me down. he listened, set me up an early appointment for the next day and even picked me up. i wish i could give this location more than 5 stars. my special thanks goes to Clint. he doesnt know how much he saved my life.

I had the best experience of my life. Just learning who I was and excepting me for who I am. Misty was the most amazing person I have ever met and made me realize it’s okay to be who I am, and realizing I have meaning and purpose. It’s not about yesterday it’s about being you. Even though i didn’t complete the program, i was greatly impacted by Sundown Ranch. The counselors are absolutely amazing and have your best interest at heart. I was held in unit 8 teens unit for 14 days it was the most miserable days of my life. I hated it here. The food sucked. There are so many rules and I was there for a odnot once. Did they talk? About suicide the weird group times then there’s stupid stupid rules honestly But I didn’t get Will say that I’m gonna have to be more respectful, but I’m just saying this please it’s good if you really want to change but unless you don’t and you’re just going here for fun of it, I wouldn’t recommend it but it’s really changed me

I read a lot of reviews and want to say my experience was nothing like all the negative comments and reviews! Upon arrival the receptionist Vivian was polite, emphatic, and very sweet. I was a wreck being my first time bringing my child in she made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I noticed she was doing 100 things at one time and she still managed to be polite even tho other patients and circumstances around us were rough. She handled everything like a pro. The overall experience was good and they helped my child. Thank you to the hospital and staff. For everyone crying about the waiting time please be realistic there’s not one hospital in this planet where you can get in and out everything is a process!

Went to souls harbor on 8/2/16 broken and lost started drinking at age 13 I was 46 when I got there and I stayed and listened to what was said I have been sober for 8 years now... they saved my life and gave me the tools to stay sober. If you need help call them.and any donations are welcomed
