I just left this place last week, and I loved my time there. It truly helped me a lot I moved on to the next steps of the program but I genuinely miss it there. Chef is amazing and a lot of the therapists and staff are great.

DPR was truly an amazing experience. They genuinely care about you and your recovery journey. Lucus pours his heart into this place and it shows. Cindy, TJ and JJ were extremely supportive and personable. The nurses, Amanda, Kenya, Bradie, and Kate were so kind and helpful. This place is great! I’m a veteran and found out they had a great veteran and first responder program. Everyone who supported me was the best. Julie my case worker was so sweet and helped me with all my appointments and FMLA. Cliff my counselor helped me with some trauma who I couldn’t have gotten better without him. He is literally the best part of my recovery. Alas was also someone who spoke the words I always needed to hear. Riding horses and being able to work with them was amazing. Jenny the music teacher was always so sweet and helped with my therapy too. Food was great thanks to the chef. All BHTs and the rest of the staff are great too. Honestly the best place I could have been going thru all my problems. Thanks for everything.

My child struggled for almost a year. My child needed support after leaving a residential treatment facility and my child blossomed upon return to BasePoint. My child is doing amazingly now.

Basepoint has been everything we needed and I wish I found them sooner! I was scared to call and not be able to afford a stellar program for my kid - but they offered a payment plan that fit my budget and removed that hurdle for me quickly. Please don’t let fear of cost keep you from making an appointment! the day we had our intake appointment I cried happy tears knowing my child was finally somewhere GOOD! They even offer transportation to and from the program which is so helpful! Que is the best driver around! The staff has an amazing way of connecting, getting on their level and truly mapping out their success WITH them and not just FOR them. My child felt very hands on with her healing which made a huge impact. They listened to my concerns and observations at home and helped build a real village for me as we went through this. Courtney was my child’s counselor and we wish we could keep her forever! So many breakthroughs and advances in mindset were achieved by how she conducts her connections. Marleny made handling our ISD so smooth; both she and Courtney helped fight for things we needed upon her return to school. Miss Kim the program specialist always made her look forward to coming in person. Crystal at the front desk was always welcoming, helpful and has the lobby smelling like a 5 star resort! We are sad to leave our new found village but are grateful for where life is headed with bigger dreams, bigger tools and better familial communication than when we enrolled. Healing isn’t linear and everyone’s journey will be different - but I promise this program will make an incredible change for both you and your child if you give them the opportunity. I attended Burning Tree Ranch in 2019 after having been to multiple inpatient treatment centers. I was drawn to Burning Tree because of its long-term, Big Book–based approach, and it delivered on that promise. My time there helped me better understand alcoholism as a disease, address my root issues, and build a sustainable path to sobriety.
A major strength of the program is its focus on healthy family involvement. My family gained education, boundaries, and non-enabling support, which was an important part of my recovery. Their aftercare program also stands out for keeping clients engaged and accountable well beyond treatment. Many of my closest connections today are still part of the Burning Tree community.
If you or a loved one struggle with chronic relapse, it would be worth exploring whether Burning Tree is a good fit.
I visited the Dallas VA Medical Center Emergency Department and received excellent care from the moment I arrived. The staff was professional, attentive, and efficient throughout my visit.
The team explained everything clearly, ensured I understood my care plan, and made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The facility itself was clean, modern, and one of the nicest VA locations I’ve been to.

i needed help BAD and i called the crisis after hours line and a lady answered the phone and when i was telling her my thoughts, she hung up in my face. i took a deep breath and called again and Clint answered the phone in a sweet loving voice and was able to calm me down. he listened, set me up an early appointment for the next day and even picked me up. i wish i could give this location more than 5 stars. my special thanks goes to Clint. he doesnt know how much he saved my life.
My experience with Homeward bound back in the day was a great one. I was in the process of trying to be admitted recently and it ended up taking 4 days before I was told no. I have the distinct problem of taking benzodiazepines and being addicted to Fentanyl. This facility is for simple detox only. They have other programs but my experience is with the detox part. I like the people they are great but they have their limits and they know it. Listen when the nurse sends you away and keeps making you jump through hoops. That is her passive aggressive no and im not sure why they dont just say no instead of making people go to doctors and get prescriptions changed just so the nurse can bring in security and tell you they don't think you will be able to come to the program after all. Detoxing off benzos and opiates was too much for them. This isn't a resort set up not a vacation. DETOX ! BRING CIGARETTES ! YOU SMOKE AFTER EVERY MEAL AND PEOPLE WANNA BUM one every meal. This place is good for a simple detox. No bells no whistles you get in you get out. the staff is very nice they help you get funding or you set up a payment plan but funding is available. The kitchen has decent meals three times a day. After every meal you get smoke breaks. There are no groups you don't have to sit in group at all for any reason .They put out desserts for snacks in between meals for all the sugar addicts. It's a 5 to 7-Day detox depending on the funding and how much you got in your system Max is 7 days.

Homeward Bound was the greatest experience I have ever been involved with, I love the food and they bus the clients to church 2 times a week and they feed you at both churches, I love 2nd Chance over in farmers branch, the staff is Amazing, Ms. Stephanie, Ms Donna, and the counselors that I didn't mention I love y'all, Ms Michelle, Ms Melissa, Mr.Darrell , AC in detox the entire nursing staff Mr. Mark the driver, I am still doing well, may Homeward Bound continue to be Blessed to keep saving lives. I just wanted to say that I loved my 90 day stay over at the ranch and i feel it played a big part of who I am today the staff was amazing and every Thursday and Sunday we would worship and share the word of God but I really appreciate the staff for everything they’ve done for me while I was there I went back in December 2023 to March 2024 and I can say it’s helped a lot and I would like to say that Samantha and Jason were two of my favorites and Jeff and Lesley were two of the nicest people you could meet on this earth This place will always have a special place in my heart :)

The first thing my adoptive daughter said when we drove off was, “I am happy you brought me here.” Thank you all so much. I had my reservations, based off some bad reviews but when I addressed the staff with my concerns they gladly discussed my concerns with me. Samantha, her counselor communicated frequently with updates and always responded to my emails. To the whole staff million thanks, and thank God for programs like Sundown Ranch.

I can’t recommend this mental health treatment center enough. From the moment I arrived, Drew, Cory, Nurse Jackie, Nurse Pam, and everyone else I interacted with (well… except one grumpy cook, but even they didn’t overshadow the experience) made me feel like part of a family. Having been hospitalized before, I’ve rarely encountered people so genuinely caring and invested in my well-being.
I left this center with real solutions and tools that I know will last a lifetime. The staff didn’t just treat my immediate concerns—they empowered me for the future. Their authenticity, warmth, and professionalism made a lasting impact, and I am truly grateful for everything they’ve given me.
My daughter stayed here for a week, and the intake process was excellent. I want call her name, but there was a lady who prayed with my daughter. I thank you so much. They made me feel at ease. It was hard leaving her there, but she needed help. She was extremely nervous at first, but she quickly grew comfortable. She liked her therapist and really enjoyed the group therapy sessions. She also connected with other patients she could relate to. The nurses were very helpful and took the time to explain the process and how everything worked. I was able to speak with the staff whenever I needed to, and they were always supportive. You must follow their policy and procedure. My daughter wanted to stay for the 10-day program, so it helped her. She’s not completely cured yet, but the foundation has been set. I just need continued follow-up and support through the outside resources they provide. There were a few things I didn't like. It can be replaced.

I was held in unit 8 teens unit for 14 days it was the most miserable days of my life. I hated it here. The food sucked. There are so many rules and I was there for a odnot once. Did they talk? About suicide the weird group times then there’s stupid stupid rules honestly But I didn’t get Will say that I’m gonna have to be more respectful, but I’m just saying this please it’s good if you really want to change but unless you don’t and you’re just going here for fun of it, I wouldn’t recommend it but it’s really changed me
I've used souls harbor for 15 yrs to pick up after garage sales. Guys are always polite, arrive at approx time scheduled.... I'll keep using them!

Went to souls harbor on 8/2/16 broken and lost started drinking at age 13 I was 46 when I got there and I stayed and listened to what was said I have been sober for 8 years now... they saved my life and gave me the tools to stay sober. If you need help call them.and any donations are welcomed

Absolutely wonderful group of people that work here... They're all about helping you get better and back to living a good sober life.. Ben the counselor is the best he's very understanding and considerate, always with a smile and in good spirits... There is a security guard who keeps the place clean and making everyone feel safe.. if your wanting to get free from the opiates then this is the place to come. They're not there to judge anyone their actually there to help you and make you feel comfortable...
I've been going there for a while. Awesome staff, Ms.Sunny is wonderful with me. They do video or face to face appointments. You do have to go in to register. They made the transition frome adolescent to adult very easy because I'm 18.
