To see if I can get in contact with one of my old councilors but I don't think it's possible. Either way this place is beautiful & the councilors i had were amazing. Also they had a imagine program while in treatment where my relationship with God began. Im forever thankful for this program & as the heart felt heart ache that teens do get addicted. I attended sundown ranch in the summer of 2015. These reviews on here seem way off. This place was top notch back then unless they've somehow changed the curriculum and structure. You get out of it what you out in. Yes, you hate it when you first arrive. But after the first week you accept it and try to take it for what it's worth. You gain points here to receive privileges. You act out and don't treat others with respect you lose privileges. They try to teach responsibility as well as teach you to respect yourself and others they want you to have the will to live. Life's a gift and they show you that. I'm 7yrs sober now. Thank you to the staff at sundown ranch. This period of my life wasn't a waste it was a learning lesson. To those reading this. This place is a good choice and food was always amazing.

Sundown Ranch transformed our family s life. After struggling with addiction, our teenage son received the support, guidance, and care he needed to turn things around. The compassionate staff, effective treatment, and safe environment gave him a foundation to rebuild and thrive. Today, he s living a healthy, normal life, and we are forever grateful to Sundown Ranch for helping make that possible. Highly recommend for families in need.

TLDR: It saved my life.I m driving out to the ranch now to watch a friend graduate with a couple of other alumni pleasantly reminiscing and commiserating on our past time there. Looking back, I m giving 5 stars to this place, not because I loved my time there (it was fing tough), but because my time there impacted my life in a way other places haven t been able to. If you re a parent, a sibling, a spouse, or a significant other wondering Why tf can t he/she get this!? Why can t they stop? Can t they see they re killing me and themselves? We ve been through this rigmarole over and over, and we re at our wits end and financially drained. Or if you re the addict thinking I m so over this BS. What s the point. Nothings worked .AA is a joke, and treatment is a scam. then this may be a good place for you. Over 17 years, I ve been in and out of treatments from California, Minnesota, California, Utah, out to New Jersey. 30, 60, 90, and even a 12-month program. I ve hit the big names; Hazelden, The Retreat, Alina Lodge, Jaywalker Lodge, Michael s House, and a litany in Southern California. Nothing seemed to work. Finally, I landed in Kaufman, TX (honestly, one of the last states I cared to visit) and was presented with the difficult journey and option that is Burning Tree Recovery Ranch. I was in inpatient treatment for 17 months and 1 week .but hey, who s counting, and have been in their aftercare program now for 7 months, scheduled to complete in 5. This journey has been nothing short of a miracle. The treatment while in inpatient can be grueling and ridiculous, but hey, my behavior for the last 26 years (13-39) was beyond ridiculous to the point of terroristic, antisocial, and dangerous, so I d say I was met with an adequate force. A ridiculous place, with ridiculous rules, for ridiculous people, some would say. Long story short, I ve never been kept sober this long and felt so involved in life. I m supporting myself and show up as a productive and invested member of society, which I ve been incapable of achieving for any sustainable amount of time. Thank you to all those who have made this possible both inside and outside of BTTR, but especially thank you to the staff who showed up and fought head-on with me until I was ready to surrender. Indebted and grateful. - $

It’s in network with many major insurance companies such as Aetna, Cigna and Blue Cross Blue Shield, though they don’t take Medicaid. Discovery Point Retreat | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My wife and I just recently graduated DPR the place saved our lives and marriage I watched my wife not only gain recovery but help other clients in their recovery as well. We built a relationship with Jesus and now we live in Dallas and are productive members in society the program works thank you to Marcus Brown Raven Brian J Caroline Crystal Sarah Esther Gabby Joel amazing the therapist and RCs are great Henry Mack love you bro. But there is one thing that desperately needs to change and that s Mr William Langley the facility manager. He is a cancer to clients recovery in DPR he needs to be removed from staff before he destroys the very program that saved my family he is very disrespectful lies and is only about insurance money and it pains me to see that new clients won t get the same opportunity that we had the relapses are up the ACAs are up and he should be banded from all DPR property and I can promise you will see a growth in recovery but as long as he remains I wouldn t recommend anyone going to this program until he is removed immediately and this is coming from a leader within and out here if this program a walking testament that the program works but as long as Mr Langley is around all clients are doomed! I will go to wherever and whoever to expose him because people need this program and he simply won t test until they fail

| Glen Oaks Hospital has a specialized rehab center that focuses on providing clients who are over 18 with drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. This addiction treatment center is situated in Greenville, Texas, and offers three inpatient and outpatient programs alongside disease management, addiction education, and relapse prevention. Glen | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was in a really bad place when I was admitted. Severe anxiety, depression was off the charts and on the verge of taking my own life. Going to green oaks was the one of the very best decision I have made in my life!! The staff on the restore unit was very pivotal in my recovery. One very important person that I want to give a huge thank you to is a great nurse by the name of BERKELEY!!! SHE SAVED MY LIFE!!! When I was done with the intake process I was taken to the restore unit and shown to my room. As I said earlier I was in a very bad head space and had zero control of my mind. Fear and anxiety had taken over and had consumed me. I was hallucinating and fight or flight had kicked into high gear. BERKELEY noticed it and jumped in to action she came to me and did everything she could to try to settle my brain down, a huge task she had if I'm honest. But she was relentless she talked to me for a while and she was getting worried. She decided she really needed to check my blood pressure because of what my mind was putting me thru and the fact I couldn't calm down. I can not thank her enough for doing that, had she not I surely would have had a stroke or heart attack. My blood pressure was thru the roof!! It was so high she called the doctor at home on a Saturday night! The next day I could remember someone helping me but not a name or a face. A few days later someone walked up and said " Willard how are you feeling?" I recognized the voice.. it was her, this was the voice I remembered, this was the nurse who saved my life!!! BERKELEY thank you so much!!!So will say things like that's her job or that's what she is paid for. I get that but as someone who has spent a ton of time at children's hospital with one of my daughters A GREAT NURSE THAT WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND IS A RARE!!I Also want to mention a couple other people that really helped me. My NP Jessica really took the time to listen to me and worked with me to find the right combination of medication. Most doctors just throw meds at you and say let's see what happens. Not this one. She really cares for her patients. The techs were awesome!! Ms. Donna, Abby, Juanita and can't forget Bree!! There is also Betsy who really helped me to process some things as well as giving me some great advice on how to explain things to my kids. The people I mentioned above helped me to get through a very tough time in my life. March 1st 2025 will always be an important day for me as I almost lost my life twice that day. But also because that was the day I has myself admitted to Green Oaks Hospital and started my mental health recovery.Thank all of you for going above and beyond for me. You all will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!!!If you struggle with mental health i highly recommend this place. So much so that when my fiance started to struggle I took her here as well because I knew she would be cared for properly!!!!

Nexus is a plebe of recovery, it might not work for everyone, but to those it didn't and doesn't... yall don't mess up other's ability to grow and break free. Miss Kelly is the greatest woman, and I challenge you, to those who would disagree with me, to TRY AGAIN!!! IT'S NEVER TOO LATE. YALL. It truly is better on the other side, ONLY YOU can make the changes needed in your life to get to where you want to go, not these folks at this facility. YOU.IF IT'S NOT WORKING OUT... I was a Client at gateway foundation correction in Wilmer TX, 2017. And I really don't know why there is so much hate in the reviews. Because this place saved my life literally. I was an addict for 20 years and the help and support I received in this program helped me see that I could recover. And I have. I will always be an addict but I am still sober and living my best life. And I owe it all to gateway and Ms. Barbra Becker & Ms. Hall. If you don't want to get better then yeah this place would suck! But if you really want a way out of addiction then this place will be your saving grace. Keep up the great work!
