As the parent of a loved one who is addicted to alcohol, I highly commend the services provided to him and to our whole family while he was a resident at Lighthouse Recovery in Dallas, Texas. Lighthouse provided a supportive environment and a treatment regimen that was individually tailored to his needs, his strengths, and his weaknesses. Even when he suffered setbacks, the staff continued to provide structure, support, and encouragement to succeed. During his time at Lighthouse, his case manager, Michael, provided regular updates on his progress in weekly phone calls to us family members, and he was always accessible when we had questions or concerns. Even when my son chose to leave Lighthouse so that he could resume drinking, the Lighthouse staff stayed in touch with him every day to make sure he was safe, and they eventually were able to persuade him to enter a long-term rehab program.

My time at lighthouse was phenomenal, the staff were really great and they accommodated all my needs. The clinical was amazing, and the community really helped me during my time there. I was able to graduate high school thanks to them and i would recommend lighthouse to anyone who is looking for a sober living

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. When I came here fresh out of rehab, I was in a rough spot, and honestly, I didn’t know if I’d ever pull myself together. But you all took me in, gave me a place to get my head straight, and most importantly, you never gave up on me—even when I wasn’t making it easy. You guys stuck by me through everything, and because of that, I’ve been able to grow into someone I never thought I could be. I’ve learned so much here, not just about staying sober but about being a better person—someone who’s responsible, who thinks before he acts, and who actually wants to build a real future. That means more than I can put into words. The staff here is seriously amazing. Mike Jones, Michael Fowler, Frankie Gomez, Bryce Hand, Joshua Stoddard, and Brooke Keels—you guys are the backbone of this place. Each of you brings something different to the table, and together, you create a space where people like me get a real chance at a new life. You’re patient, you understand what we’re going through, and you actually care—which isn’t something you find everywhere. This place saved my life. That’s not an exaggeration. I wouldn’t be where I am without the support, guidance, and second chances I got here. I’ll always be grateful for that. Thank you for everything.

Saved my life.

I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

Chapter House is a phenomenal facility and I would highly recommend them to anyone who’s struggling with addiction.

Amazing place!! i’ve been here twice and i love the staff and everyone there. deven (the therapist) was very amazing and i appreciate her so very much. i really recommend this place if you are trying to take a step in the right direction. it helped me so much and the after care was amazing as well. thank you so much to everyone who helped me!! 🩷 ps it’s emily rios lol

was recommended to this facility by my previous outpatient therapist after it was determined i needed a higher level of care. i had a tour, met with their team, and started the php/iop program the next week. they took very good care of me. i received transportation assistance and both the vehicles and facilities were always clean and comfortable. i loved my therapist, my psychiatrist, the group, and every single one of the staff. if ever my situation requires it (hopefully not lol), i would choose basepoint again.

My experience with Basepoint Forney: It was honestly amazing and incredibly well. I couldn’t have wished for a better PHP honestly. This place does wonder if you let it. You wont get any out of this program if you do not but the effort they’re giving you. Which i knew while i was in this program but i didn’t fully process until after i left. You get out what you put in. I was off and on with this program for a year. The staff is incredible . Shout out to Ms.Liz , Mr Dylan (how ever you spell it), Sid , Brad (which isn’t unfortunately there), Miss Brenda, Ms. Patrice. Each one of these staff are super helpful and supportive, they fully understand you and listen to you. I was always so happy to talk to them everyday. Also the front desk lady, She was always so happy to see me every morning when i walked in , always complimented me . It made my day by just taking to her. And lets not get started with the therapists. I love each one of them , Mrs. Avery, Ms. Courtney, Ms. Ginna, and more. All these people saved my life multiple times. Especially Mrs. Avery , My therapist almost the whole time. I am so grateful that i met her. She was the first person i was truly honest. She was the first person that made me want to continue to live. She was my best friend. We went through the same kind of stuff , which we could really relate to each other. She truly cared about me. Ive been to so many places where it felt like the people there were just working there for. the money. But there they worked there because they truly wanted to help people and want to see people get better, have a bright future. I haven’t talked to Mrs. Avery since ive discharged back in March. But i wish i could talk to her for one more minute. She helped me make some truly good progress. She helped me with my negative mindset. I remember when i first got there last year i was shy so i went to sit in the corner , when she released i was feeling anxious , she went to sit with me. I love her so much therapeutically and i will always. Courntey, I could talk to her about anything with no judgement what so ever , whenever i was struggling she would come to talk to me here my rant. Shes very nonjudgmental, which all the therapist are. Ginna , even though i didn't get to know her much, she really got me when i did talked to her . Shes very funny , i would joke around with her. She understood why i did the things i did. Each one of these staff i have mention helped me with recovery. I would leave to go to a higher level of care and when i come back it felt like all the staff understood why i felt like i needed to do what i did. The space at basepoint felt very comfortable, i did not feel uncomfortable at all. I wish i had put the full effort when i was there. Which always slips my mind everyday. I cannot change the past so ill just have to accept it and put in the effort in the places i go to. Any other staff i did not mention, They were also super understanding and helpful. If you're going there or are going to i suggest to be honest and trust them, from someone that didn't think they could be helped , this place helped me realize thats not the truth and theres hope in the future. I thank God for this place everyday and i will forever. I grew mentally and physically here. This place brought the true Grace out , which i thought i would never see again . The process might be hard but it will all be worth it at the end. Telling the truth might be hard to say but in the future you’ll thank yourself you did. I love this place and would recommend this place to any struggling teen with mental health. I love all the staff here therapeutically. Especially Mrs.Avery (knee slapper).

GTC McKinney is great. They offer flexibility and a tailored approach to PT. Manuel, Chris and Jake enjoy people and make you feel at home. They offer no judgment, just results.

Coming from a healthcare and rehab background myself, I was honestly not excited about being referred to a rehab facility I was not familiar with. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of quality attention I received from the staff. My physical therapist and Clinic director, Chris Truong, and his staff were not only very knowledgeable but also relatable. The staff at Greater Therapy Centers Physical Therapy in McKinney, TX, are all so welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable. If you live in or near McKinney, I highly recommend this team!

Mary Donna & Brenda are one of a kind! Although I have not known them long, they are angels who truly want the best for their clients! They are true advocates for those suffering with addiction and mental health issues!

Lois and her team provide on one of the best IOP programs in the state. Lois is passionate about recovery and her own experience has inspired so many. They are a collaborative center and are truly dedicated to getting folks well. Simply the best!

Our family’s experience with SOS was just what we needed. The entire staff have huge hearts for clients battling addiction and also for their families. They treated all of us. As a family member, I came away with much needed knowledge about my son’s disease and with the tools for our family to get well. I would recommend SOS without hesitation.
