Discovery Point Retreat is an excellent facility. I am the custodian of a friend who is in recovery and went here and saw the way they treat the clients is always very friendly, its like you are a part of their own family, especially the RC from Brooklyn, he was a real savior. I was at Enterhealth last year — and I’m proud to say I’m one year sober! Thanks to Enterhealth I got my life back. If you’re struggling and need help this is the place to go. Lenny was awesome. I’m writing this review as it has been 6 months and 1 day since a small group of family and indirect supporters led me to Enterhealth after months of isolating with Tito’s was followed by years of binge drinking and drinking throughout the day, to get through the day.
Everyone’s journey in sobriety is different and people take away different things from recovery. This is my 2nd time to go to treatment and it has been completely different than my 1st time. I feel like Enterhealth not only “got me sober”, but they helped me battle this by addressing my physical health, my strengths and weaknesses as well as my mental health. I also feel like I was given the freedom to be in charge of my own recovery plan. Physical and mental health were important to me and they allowed me to dive into that. I’m also not religious so I was much more receptive to their curriculum on the disease instead of just praying it into remission with AA. (Although they do offer AA based groups).
Other things such as the community, the food, the privacy of your own cabin, the routine and the amenities are all major perks that help you focus on your treatment.
I will say, this place is a major investment. I would be wary if your loved one is resistant to change. I feel like Enterhealth is a huge gift. I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to embrace a better life and is ready to work for it. 💜

My mother was a resident almost a month here Denise and Josh were a fabulous duo if you lose one I really feel sorry for this facility Denise keeps her hall decorated for every season and the rooms are so tidy I love Denise energy as well she's always happy to help Josh is also amazing the weekends should run like Monday -friday it's a different thank you Josh and Denise for everything you both deserve a raise in my opinion

I have been registered at many different outpatient clinics across Texas and I have NEVER been able to make an appointment to see my doctor within the same week, nonetheless the same month even! I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track.
I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year.
BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest...
I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

After seeing other physical therapists with no progress, I was skeptical of trying GTC, but I am so glad I did! They had a customized approach to addressing my issue, and for the first time in almost a year, I am able to live an active lifestyle pain free!

Staff care and work hard to help. Groups are focused on individuals needs as well as the whole group. They encouraged us to learn and grow from each other's successes and even failures.
When I struggled they accommodated me and helped me with the extra help I needed. They also find services for additional help or higher level of care if needed.
Side note: I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were for inpatient and children's services this location in Plano doesn't even offer at this time or never offered.
I'm assuming many of the people were looking for the main hospital in Carrollton to review and made a mistake.

Partial Hospitalization program was very lovely and informative and important for my growth mentally. Very lovely and kind and patient staff. They support you as long as you communicate and even catch when you don’t clearly communicate with words. They are quick, efficient and not just for the money. 10/10 totally recommend this for treatment mentally.
Update: I just clipped my nails with a nail trimmer for the first time in my life. I’ve always been an anxious nail biter. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been to over 20 different inpatient stays, and Carrollton springs is by far my favorite Inpatient program. Great staff, great food, great experience. 10/10. They’re more than happy to help in active crisis. Special shout out to Dr. B, who saw my symptoms, quickly and accurately assessed me and got my meds regulated. I feel soooo much better, I feel and act like myself again. I really appreciate it and so do my loved ones. Happy to be back functioning again! ☺️
