The staff are professional and caring. They continue to care after treatment with alumni activities and check in regularly. Tina was an excellent case manager, Alas leads the veterans and first responders group and helps with all their needs. Burning Tree Ranch is not an easy place—but it’s not supposed to be. This is long-term treatment designed for people who have tried everything else and feel completely out of options. I was at the point where I was dying, unable to stay sober for more than a few months, and Burning Tree gave me the structure and direction I needed.
There were many times I was asked to do things I didn’t understand or didn’t necessarily agree with. But the truth was, my own way wasn’t working. I had to surrender and trust the process. The staff here is dedicated, experienced, and they pushed me in ways I couldn’t have pushed myself.
There are negative reviews out there, but I believe many of them come from people who simply weren’t ready to surrender or follow directions. This program isn’t for everyone, but for those who are truly desperate and ready for real change, it can be life-saving.
Burning Tree saved my life. I am happily sober today, something I never thought was possible.

I have struggled with addiction for almost 15 years. I went to many rehabs in Texas & EXPENSIVE ONES in California. My Mom got sick of paying for pricey rehabs that didn’t help. Oh, you can bring your kid to Nexus too! They have a separate dorm for families and pregnant women.
Homeward Bound was the first rehab/detox I went to in Dallas. They USED TO give you Ativan when withdrawing from alcohol or drugs. That's a Godsend and that's the SAFE way to do it. Homeward Bound stopped doing that - they take you off everything, even medication for your heart, blood pressure, antidepressants, even seizures. The new doctors are sadists. DO NOT GO TO Homeward Bound!
Then I discovered Nexus. What a breath of fresh air! Helpful and safe detox - they give you a full week in a separate building before starting you in the dorms. It's weird to say, but I loved it! The doctors, the "techs", the teachers, they even have a program for people who lost their ID'S, birth certificates, etc (as many of us addicts do). They have a program to help you get housing and a job too!
It's like a big family. I actually went twice. You have to be ready to quit. If you truly are ready for real, Nexus is the place. I finally got sober after 15 years. I am now ALMOST 3 YEARS sober and I still talk to people from Nexus.
Parkland's mobile bus also comes so that you can get real help right away, if you have urgent medical issues. As of 2022 they offered MAT, which is Suboxone.
Nexus is so great, there's usually a waiting list, but you can show up in person (go EARLY), they'll interview you and if they think they can help - then you can get in. Anyone reading this..if I can do this, so can you! Be stubborn and don't let addiction win. Do whatever you have to to get here!

I don’t even know where to begin. This treatment center is truly changing lives. My husband attended their program during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced, and I can confidently say they gave us hope and confidence in his recovery.
From day one, the staff treated him with compassion and dignity. They weren’t just professionals—they were caring, patient, and truly passionate about helping people rebuild their lives. The counselors went above and beyond, not just helping him work through addiction, but helping him rediscover who he is without it.
What meant the most to me as a spouse was how they kept family involved and supported throughout the process. I felt heard and understood. This wasn’t just treatment—it was transformation.

Discovery Point is an amazing place. I’ve only been here for a week, but it already feels like home. A pool, nice gym, great staff, and amazing chefs. Drew (chef) on top of her great cooking, is so positive and always smiling, and Star makes the best desserts - we even get desserts at breakfast when she’s here!! At the support staff and nurses are so kind and patient.

I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person.
Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support.
I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made an overwhelming situation feel manageable, and I am deeply grateful for everything they did to support both my child and our family.

If you want to quit and haven’t been able to, this place can help. I was unable to stay sober until I took the sober living approach, and Lighthouse is the best option available. The team is excellent and you will get results if you’re committed. This place is has changed my life. My husband and I have grown so much. Today iam 9 1/2 months clean and this place is a big part of my recovery. I'm finally getting my kids back in my life. I am very thankful I found this facility. The staff was nice and very helpful. The environment was quiet and peaceful. They have a chef that made good healthy food for everyone. If you are looking for a place to help you recover, I really recommend you come here.

I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

My mother was a resident almost a month here Denise and Josh were a fabulous duo if you lose one I really feel sorry for this facility Denise keeps her hall decorated for every season and the rooms are so tidy I love Denise energy as well she's always happy to help Josh is also amazing the weekends should run like Monday -friday it's a different thank you Josh and Denise for everything you both deserve a raise in my opinion

So, let me just start off by saying thank you to all involved with Aspire!
I was reluctant to say the least because I've been through IOP before. That shadow wasn't casted over me after the first session I sat in my seat.
I grew and grew with the help of Aspire and my journey was exactly what I was looking for.
I garnered the tools to get a ton of steam off and establish my support system in Aspire and OUTSIDE of Aspire, which they encouraged me to do.
The entire team was apart of my experience and went above and beyond to help me get on to the next chapter of my life.
I'm eternally grateful to the entire team and program of Aspire and would definitely suggest this be the group to consider for your start and introduction to getting the tools you need to stay sober in early sobriety.
I'll be a proud member of their Alumni program, and maybe one day, I'll see who reads this review at the Alumni group as well!

The staff and therapist were the best! They all helped me through my mental health crisis and along the way find the real me. When you find the right location and people you just know, and I KNOW that Aspire was the place for me. I cannot recommend them enough to everyone.
