I attended Burning Tree Ranch in 2019 after having been to multiple inpatient treatment centers. I was drawn to Burning Tree because of its long-term, Big Book–based approach, and it delivered on that promise. My time there helped me better understand alcoholism as a disease, address my root issues, and build a sustainable path to sobriety.
A major strength of the program is its focus on healthy family involvement. My family gained education, boundaries, and non-enabling support, which was an important part of my recovery. Their aftercare program also stands out for keeping clients engaged and accountable well beyond treatment. Many of my closest connections today are still part of the Burning Tree community.
If you or a loved one struggle with chronic relapse, it would be worth exploring whether Burning Tree is a good fit.

Nexus definitely gave me a place to educate and regulate myself daily. I gained many friends and have been touched by staff members such as Lauren, Jasmine, Tristan, Ms.Millie, Stephanie, Isabelle,Mrs.Tammy, and Chad, in ways I will carry with me in lifelong memories. Nexus gave me to the tools I needed in my empty toolbox to allow me to turn the waterfall of sobriety into the stream of recovery. There were a few hiccups in my stay there which is why I will only give 4 stars today. I am genuinely grateful and happy that I went to Nexus and was able to grasp ahold of the horns of courage, the wings of serenity, and the strength of wisdom. I would recommend this place for anyone who is serious about staying sober and has the capacity for tolerance and patience. Thank you to all the amazing staff that helped this wayward sheep find her way back to her heard.

Nexus provided many things I needed for recovery. I was busy all the time and challenged in many helpful ways. It was an overall great experience for an elderly alcoholic trying to get a firm grip on sobriety. Keep in mind, side effects may include lifelong friends and increased self worth.

I came here for my recovery, and at first I would say that I didnt like it, but that was making excuses for myself. But I stayed and graduated, this place tought me to learn patience and roll with changes that can come up in real life and not have to turn to drugs. Now im a peerlead helping others in the community to see the bright side of things and fight those urges we all get. This is hard thing to do alone, but if u build a community it becomes easier. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I visited the Dallas VA Medical Center Emergency Department and received excellent care from the moment I arrived. The staff was professional, attentive, and efficient throughout my visit.
The team explained everything clearly, ensured I understood my care plan, and made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The facility itself was clean, modern, and one of the nicest VA locations I’ve been to.

I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. I will forever be in debt to what this program gave me during the most formative year of my life. Lighthouse is one of very few places where every staff member truly just wants to see you succeed. I could go through the list of names, but it would be too long. Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person.
Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support.
I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. I am 6 months in fighting a battle with Kratom. I called Symetria 6 months ago and the next morning I was in the office in Arlington. When I walked in I was a mess, crying and scared. They took me in and helped me right away and took their time with me and the process was so easy to get started. I cannot tell you how much better I felt that day walking out of there. I am doing more than great because of myself and the team in Arlington- David, Misty, Kari, Anita and the docs are so patient and really care. They chose a plan perfect for me and keep an eye on me all the time, they are available 24/7. How ever they figured out how to do it, they did it right! My review is based on my initial interactions with the staff at The Meadows Texas. My decision to choose this program for my Mother was made with complete confidence. The team at The Meadows Texas took time to listen, provided comforting words, gave advice, and explained their program in detail. Mark Degataga (Admissions Specialist) was my initial point of contact when I called to get information and I had already spoken to 9 other companies. He made me comfortable to go into detail about my Mothers struggles and was knowledgeable about the services The Meadows offered. Mark’s passion for the program and detailed information made me feel confident that this program was what we needed for my Mother. Mark stayed in communication with me over the course of 8 days. Answered all my questions and checked in not only on my Mothers progress but to see how I was doing as well. Although the ability to tour the facility was not an option due to privacy of patients, Mark gave a detailed description of the property, rooms, therapy, treatments, and activities that were going to be available throughout the program. Mark’s communication from the initial call all the way through admissions was extraordinary! He even called me to see how I was feeling after my Mom was situated and transported. Brenda Henson (Patient Financial Coordinator) was the second person I spoke to at The Meadows. She was professional and addressed all concerns. Not being able to tour the facility was still something I really wanted to do but understood the privacy of patients is important. I felt like at the very minimum I needed to see the grounds. I drove to The Meadows and had the opportunity to meet and speak with the Executive Director Lori Bachman. At this point I had already narrowed my decision down to 2 places. My conversation with Lori and ongoing communication with Mark made me feel at ease. The grounds were beautiful and Lori’s passion shined through just as Mark’s and Brenda’s did. They were genuine and are truly in this to help patients. Rehabilitation Programs are the initial stepping stones to help individuals start their road towards a better future. I know there is a lot of hard work and dedication that will be needed for ongoing success. I’m excited to see how my Mom will benefit from the treatment and services offered by The Meadows staff. I will post an update once services are completed. Thank you again to Mark, Brenda, and Lori for their compassion and assistance when dealing with a difficult time and helping this be a seamless process.

CFD has been such a blessing for our family! The people there are so warm, caring, compassionate, helpful, and responsive. Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.

This is a great facility and program. The staff is amazing! I took off one star because the billing department at corporate is incompetent. Make sure you are well educated on your insurance coverage and know the financial process at the center ahead of time to avoid stress and frustration.

Well I got my self in a little bind I had to look for counseling in AA and NA for Help , I called around in my area couldn’t find a center where I could get Intensive outpatient help and was able to contact Sunshine Care Centers in Arlington Tx
I called and Mr David happened to answer the call, by the way Mr David, happened to be the Owner, I informed him my issued and informed him what I needed , he immediately asked for my information and insurance and told me he was going to verify insurance and he would call me back in 5-10 minutes ,I’m pleased to inform you he returned my call in5 minutes,asked me when did I want to begin well got incontact Thursday, and began my Intensive Outpatient Counseling appointment the following day on Friday
I met my Counselor Miss,Micheale Merriot, she is very understanding she walks with you through the whole process

I’m writing this review without any idea how to express my gratitude. Sunshine was not the first place I called to help my friend but they are the place that gave me hope that maybe he would finally have a chance. I had been trying for over 2 years to help my friend get to recovery and everytime there was a closed door at some point of the process.. Whether it be $$ or programs or people on the other end of the phone unwillingness to help. I came across Sunshine Care Center with absolute defeat written all over me by the time I called them.. and there it was someone willing to not only to be the only other person on my team but to help me navigate what to do who to call how to help my friend with his addiction. I can’t put into words how much it meant to me to find a center that is truly there to help people that cannot help themselves. Beautiful people that work here with beautiful hearts. i needed help BAD and i called the crisis after hours line and a lady answered the phone and when i was telling her my thoughts, she hung up in my face. i took a deep breath and called again and Clint answered the phone in a sweet loving voice and was able to calm me down. he listened, set me up an early appointment for the next day and even picked me up. i wish i could give this location more than 5 stars. my special thanks goes to Clint. he doesnt know how much he saved my life.

The nurses and doctors, as well as, the physical therapists and occupational therapists were so good at their jobs!! They were very helpful and helped me work on getting my mobility back!
I would definitely recommend this hospital and would give every staff member that was assigned to me a glowing review!!

OT Edwin was the Best! A little hard at times, but balanced with encouragement that challenged my mindset to think in positive terms of what I believed I could do physically.
PT Justin was also very good at tailoring my workouts to accommodate sore muscles rather than charging forward with his original plan. He was very conscious to not over use a strained muscle and possibility risking an injury, but altered my plan to still achieve the goals set.
In reference to OT Edwin & PT Justin, I am amazed with my progress from Monday 8/4 to Friday 8/13!
Nurse on 8/6 (Wed overnight into Thursday AM) had a very unhelpful attitude towards me. It was like I was wasting her time when I asked for her help.
8/7 & 8/8 Nurse Ruth & nurse tech DeeDee were top notch! And great attitudes!
Nurses Karla & Michelle & nurse techs Janie & Lateka were also very good!
Dr. Rega stopped by everyday to ask if there was anything I needed--med adjustments, etc.). After I had been here a week, the bed was leaving a lot to be desired. When she asked me on Friday AM if there was anything she could get me, I half jokingly said a new bed would be nice. Her response was to let her see what she could do. When I returned from therapy at lunch, they delivered a new mattress! And they double stacked the new w/the old one. A major improvement!

I was put in there at 17 by my high school, and I was a little mad when they put me in impatient because I thought it was over the top just for some small thoughts, but after a week I came out knowing more information about myself, I got diagnosed with depression and anxiety, which I would have never known I had. I got the medication and information I needed to get better. I made friends and learned so much about myself! But I do agree with other reviews that the food did suck, but in the long run, that’s not what is important. Now as a college student I have learned to cope with my anxiety and I will be forever grateful to the nurses and doctors that helped me.

Not all the staff are perfect. I did meet a lot of great people. Tempest was amazing bright cheerful smile. Both Angie's were awesome. My favorite person was Juanita! I will say the dietary needs to be worked on especially for diabetics. We are not suppose to eat carbs like other patients. The group activity were wonderful. I had a lot of fun inside the block with my hall mates. The patients help each other and make the days go by.
