I came here at a very low point in my life so I wasn't expecting a whole lot..they were going thru a transition at the time but they were trying to make the process work. The staff were the absolute best though. Cindy Kendra, Kate jj were the high point of my stay. Starr in that kitchen had me always anticipating something good she would be putting together. DPR was truly an amazing experience. They genuinely care about you and your recovery journey. Lucus pours his heart into this place and it shows. Cindy, TJ and JJ were extremely supportive and personable. The nurses, Amanda, Kenya, Bradie, and Kate were so kind and helpful. And of course Drew and Star were a highlight with the awesome food they prepared and had really great insight. It is truly a gem in the recovery community.

In the 33 days I spent there I was given time to medically detox, fed delicious and nutritious food, taught the nature of my addiction in scientific terms, given one on one therapy, given the option to attend wellness activities such as yoga and was provided time with a personal trainer to work on regaining my strength. We enjoyed the on facility pool, team building exercises with the other residents and even had movie time once a week. I also was able to take advantage of a virtual reality session that prepared me for being exposed to my DOC in a safe environment and allowed me a one on one session with an expert trained in exposure therapy. This allowed me to see how physiologically my body will respond to triggers and therefore gave me much better ability to prepare for returning to my life outside of the center. The residental staff is caring, compassionate and friendly. The therapists were knowledgeable, present and available when I needed them. The 12 step team taught a comprehensive program that broke down the literature in a way that was easy to grasp. The kitchen staff provided fantastic meals. The rooms were kept clean daily and provided me with my own private balcony-a beautiful place to begin and end my days, reflecting on the many thoughts that addicts ponder during treatment. I look forward to continuing my treatment there with the PHP program and intend to complete my IOP at this location as well. I was given such great care that I wanted to ensure continuity of treatment throughout all the steps of my treatment program. Highly recommend to anyone who's ready to change their life.

I was sent here involuntarily per the court. I was supposed to stay 5-7 days but with the new years holiday and a couple of weekends I was there a little longer. The facility places you in units based on your needs and diagnosis. I was in unit one for my duration so I can’t speak to any of the other units and what happens there. I was terrified coming in having not ever being at a facility like this before I had no idea what to expect. When I came in it was night and I heard some yelling and cursing that added to my anxiety. I am from a somewhat affluent suburb and had only seen places like this in the movies. Unit one was made up of men and women. That also made me apprehensive. There are two people to a room. Which consists of two single beds two bookcases and a bathroom. Everything had been well thought out as far as safety measures. There is a common room where everyone can socialize if they want to. All of this is supervised by the techs and other staff which gave me a huge sense of security. There is a schedule for waking up, getting vitals, medication, meals, gym, group therapy ( which was done by Carmen) shout out to Carmen she was really helpful in so many ways! Also on the schedule was hygiene and bedtime. I’m not a scheduled person and like to stay up late and sleep in. By the end of the stay I had learned to appreciate the schedule and am trying to stick to one now that I am at home. I can not say enough about how wonderful the staff on Unit 1 was. I could list names but it would be too many and I’m really bad at names and remembering them. The nurses were amazing and really took prided in their work and it showed. The techs made up the rest of the staff on the floor and they do so many things from doing 15 minute rounds for 12 hours to handling meal service being there to lend an ear. Being silly sometimes to lighten the mood and bring laughter. Kanard I’m speaking about your little happy dances. Sheena and Mary were like the mothers we didn’t have in there. Brittany the protective big sister who you could tell anything to and Dylon and big Rod I’m sure that’s his name but if not the big part will ensure that you know whom I’m speaking of. They were all very empathetic to our situations and just so very good to have in our unit. That was probably my one complaint. I would have liked to have had more healthy food options especially fresh fruit. I did ask for some and I got an orange that they had cut up the way that moms do. I feel that above and beyond given their workload so shout out kitchen staff. I know I’m going to leave out people by names because I’m bad at remembering them but I will never forget Charles and Ezeck the two nurses that really looked out for everyone’s health and well being Like I said Unit one is exactly where I needed to be at that point in my situation and time. To sum it up amazing morning and nighttime staff on Unit one. Areas that need improvement - healthier food options -opportunities for a variety of physical exercise- maybe an instructor led yoga class if for nothing else but stretching and breathing exercises. - daytime activities aside from tv. I really would have appreciated a book to read or a chore- just something to do. - lastly I was not as all impressed with the Doctors I had and the ones I observed. They were focused on medication but not what got us there or the help we needed. A lot of the times they were very dismissive to the patients. I was sent to this hospital to get better but they really offered no counseling at all. I mean at all. The only therapy we got was from Carmen and again she was awesome but it was in a group and not necessarily suited to individual needs so they really need counselors!!! Healthy food Opportunities for physical exercise. Counselors More mentally stimulating options like I said even a book or a crossword puzzle would help during the hours of boredom. I hope the powers that be read this and give the recognition this staff deserves!! PS they love food…wink wink.

I had to stay here for about 7 to 8 days on unit 2 nurse Linda , Emilia, and Tenesha were all absolute angels . The unit 2 staff as a collective was amazing but those nurses reached me the most. My God continue to bless this hospital and all of its staff. With love and grace to you all sincerely the (wrecking ball)

My daughter stayed here for a week, and the intake process was excellent. I want call her name, but there was a lady who prayed with my daughter. I thank you so much. They made me feel at ease. It was hard leaving her there, but she needed help. She was extremely nervous at first, but she quickly grew comfortable. She liked her therapist and really enjoyed the group therapy sessions. She also connected with other patients she could relate to. The nurses were very helpful and took the time to explain the process and how everything worked. I was able to speak with the staff whenever I needed to, and they were always supportive. You must follow their policy and procedure. My daughter wanted to stay for the 10-day program, so it helped her. She’s not completely cured yet, but the foundation has been set. I just need continued follow-up and support through the outside resources they provide. There were a few things I didn't like. It can be replaced.

I wanted to put a great review here. A family member needed support and we brought them here. The check in process was very smooth and they treated the patient in a great way even offered a sandwich since it was almost lunch time. I would say the woman’s only area is better than co-ed and glad they moved them there. The unit has basketball court, soccer, karaoke, art, music. They also do group therapy which I heard was very helpful. Food is good and they did the laundry everyday. Which was also a big plus. All the staff were friendly and super helpful. Thank you for all that you do!

I use to go to denton clinic last year and even years ago and I was honestly struggling very hard to keep up with payments and Im not here to bash... I blame myself for not communicating better. At the time I was forced to leave my denton home and stay with family in the colony and had to drive every day Mon thru Fri to denton. I finally tried looking for some place closer and thank the Lord He led me here. I called and they asked about insurance which I gave all my info about. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. Everyone is SO NICE also. Love it here.

I absolutely love this place from the front staff all the way to the back staff. Everybody is so amazing and so kind. The office manager helped me find a location where I could get my dose since I missed it on Saturday and I was so grateful for him to reach out because I finally got my dose I needed Because THEY CARE! When I walked into Lighthouse on October 22, 2025, I had no idea what to expect. A couple days prior to my intake, I met with Austin Brown for an admissions screening. Bonded immediately and had a lot of similar experiences. I knew this was a good place for me. Then, I walked back in on October 27th, my first day of sobriety, for intake. I was nervous to say the least. Nothing in my life had gone according to plan over the past couple years, and I had really hit rock bottom the last 10 months. Reece conducted my initial intake and I got along with him great right off the bat. This meeting, immediately prior to my first IOP session at 6pm, showed me this was a serious place for recovery. I was all-in. Then came down to IOP evening sessions, 3 days a week for 3 hours. 12 week program and if you do well, you may have the opportunity to be invited back for an additional 8 week SOP program. The first thing I realized in IOP was I am not alone. There were other guys in similar positions as me and I could relate to them instantly. If not for my peers in IOP, led by our group counselors Jose and Collin, I don’t know if I would have stayed. Friendships were sparked in that room that will likely carry a lifetime. It’s all about who you surround yourself with during recovery. You need good people. Good counselors and good peers. You will get that at Lighthouse and you’ll get all the support you need along the way, in a beautiful facility.

Our son has been in Lighthouse’s sober living program for the past ten months. It is hard to know where to take your loved one when they are in crisis mode and at their most vulnerable. I am leaving this to encourage anyone needing to get their loved one help in the midst of an addiction. Lighthouse Recovery has provided a team of experienced professionals to lead our son out of addiction and into recovery. Their progress-based approach has given him the individualized care he has needed. During this entire process the Lighthouse team has always met our son where he was at, we have never felt like he was part of a system. His clinical team have done an outstanding job of identifying his mental health needs and getting him the treatment he needed. I know there are names I don’t know, but Brooke and Sam have been excellent all of these months. Sam really earned our son’s trust. The sober living program has been the daily guidance and structure to allow our son to heal and learn how to live sober. Bryce, Frankie, and all of the house managers have been fully committed to our son’s success. Bryce, as his case manager, has been a bridge for our family between the care team and our son. His communication is excellent. He has kept us up-to-date at all times and responds momentarily when we reach out. We have never felt cutoff from this process in any way. He will now be our son’s sobriety coach and we could not imagine the next phase of our son’s recovery without Bryce. We have experienced how the clinical and sober living teams work together for the mission of helping our son step into a full and productive life, healthy and sober. We will be forever grateful for everything they have done to equip our son and to give him this chance. I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

Absolutely saved my life. Between Julie getting everything done and I am mean everything and Cliff being there as a veteran and running that part of the program it allowed me to get everything that has made ever other attempt fail accomplished. A five star for sure and I may miss some of the things done, don't plan on being back. We love Mrs. Courtney and Mrs. Alexis. They are wonderful and are great at connecting with teens. They have helped my child and us tremendously and we are sad that we aren't able to work with them once our child graduates BPA program. Mrs. Patrice is also great with our child. She provided a safe and quiet van environment for our child who gets over stimulated. We were sad we didn't get to be on her Van this time. I absolutely hate this place. Staff treats you like a criminal, only allow calls during a certain time, Horrible smell. I don't even know why councerlors and therapist promote rhis place, it just makes you worse. Not to mention, if they put you on a diet all they give you is chicken.

This place is disgraceful. Walked in with my 16 year old to the intake part and it smelled so bad like weed I almost vomited. The place was so dirty, I went in restroom and it looked as though someone vomited in the sink. Although the intake nurse was very welcoming and knowledgeable, the other intake staff were not so friendly and almost seemed bothered to have a job. We were told there was a bed available, sat there for hours and then told there wasn’t, and was told they could transfer her but they also couldn’t get that together. As I sat there, even though my 16 yo needed help I don’t think I could have left her there. The staff was in a locked room while patients and other people waiting were left within a locked hallway. Spoke to a manager, who seemed nice, but definitely didn’t seem to want to believe that they had a definite lack of communication and cleanliness issue. I feel for any patients in this facility that truly need and deserve help. With there intake part being in such disrepair I cannot imagine what the other parts looked like that housed patients. Please stay clear of this place!

Every one here is SO NICE! I was looking forward to finally meeting a doctor who could help me. Well, when I met Dr. Dinghra through an iPad and only saw her eyes and nothing more, it felt extremely impersonal. I gave the doctor the benefit of the doubt. As we proceeded to talk she began interrupting me and even worse he started subtly insulting. Complete lack of empathy throughout. She only had his eyes in the frame I had no idea who I was even talking to. I could barely understand her but I definitely understood the insults. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. Update: The director switched me doctors to Reddy and she was by far way better than Dangra. She is very nice and listened to me.

If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need.

I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track. I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year. BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest... I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

When I walked into Lighthouse on October 22, 2025, I had no idea what to expect. A couple days prior to my intake, I met with Austin Brown for an admissions screening. Bonded immediately and had a lot of similar experiences. I knew this was a good place for me. Then, I walked back in on October 27th, my first day of sobriety, for intake. I was nervous to say the least. Nothing in my life had gone according to plan over the past couple years, and I had really hit rock bottom the last 10 months. Reece conducted my initial intake and I got along with him great right off the bat. This meeting, immediately prior to my first IOP session at 6pm, showed me this was a serious place for recovery. I was all-in. Then came down to IOP evening sessions, 3 days a week for 3 hours. 12 week program and if you do well, you may have the opportunity to be invited back for an additional 8 week SOP program. The first thing I realized in IOP was I am not alone. There were other guys in similar positions as me and I could relate to them instantly. If not for my peers in IOP, led by our group counselors Jose and Collin, I don’t know if I would have stayed. Friendships were sparked in that room that will likely carry a lifetime. It’s all about who you surround yourself with during recovery. You need good people. Good counselors and good peers. You will get that at Lighthouse and you’ll get all the support you need along the way, in a beautiful facility.

Our son has been in Lighthouse’s sober living program for the past ten months. It is hard to know where to take your loved one when they are in crisis mode and at their most vulnerable. I am leaving this to encourage anyone needing to get their loved one help in the midst of an addiction. Lighthouse Recovery has provided a team of experienced professionals to lead our son out of addiction and into recovery. Their progress-based approach has given him the individualized care he has needed. During this entire process the Lighthouse team has always met our son where he was at, we have never felt like he was part of a system. His clinical team have done an outstanding job of identifying his mental health needs and getting him the treatment he needed. I know there are names I don’t know, but Brooke and Sam have been excellent all of these months. Sam really earned our son’s trust. The sober living program has been the daily guidance and structure to allow our son to heal and learn how to live sober. Bryce, Frankie, and all of the house managers have been fully committed to our son’s success. Bryce, as his case manager, has been a bridge for our family between the care team and our son. His communication is excellent. He has kept us up-to-date at all times and responds momentarily when we reach out. We have never felt cutoff from this process in any way. He will now be our son’s sobriety coach and we could not imagine the next phase of our son’s recovery without Bryce. We have experienced how the clinical and sober living teams work together for the mission of helping our son step into a full and productive life, healthy and sober. We will be forever grateful for everything they have done to equip our son and to give him this chance. They have stood in between our son and his addiction in a way our family could not have and they provided a safe haven for him to begin sobriety, Lighthouse Recovery has our highest recommendation and confidence.

I cannot imagine any other place to go to for Help it started off with me coming to this place and then thinking I was OK but in reality I wasn’t and I stopped coming a few months down the road. I found myself coming back. These workers are phenomenal when I came it started with the director James. He explained everything and then some. Then I saw the magnificent charming, wonderful Dr. Cruz he listens to your every need He is an all around a great doctor very intelligent, smart as a whip, very caring And very kind I have yet to meet a doctor in this field like him at all I can’t say enough for him or anybody else Or anyone else at Symetria. The first time I came in, I was assigned to the counselor Carolee I met with her maybe twice because I quit coming and then I began to see Mr. wonderful Trey He is so good makes me feel like there’s A light at the end of the tunnel He is another one that will listen to you wants to set goals for you helps you set those goals and meet them so now when I come in, I see a beautiful smiling Karen she’s so bubbly she cares and she will always always ask you if you need anything else. She is a wonderful person. She will let The nurses know you are there and Keeshaw And Vicky are They will have your medicine ready and they will call you back to dose. They are both very sweet and kind and one thing I know they’re both Christians. And they are always smiling When you come back to their cubicle, I know this was lengthy and I’m sorry and I hope and pray you have the time to read this because there’s a lot more than I can say great wonderful things about Symetria but it’s not necessary for me to write a book so come out. Make an appointment do the first step and thank God in the process that you’re on your way to a better you, you will not be disappointed with Symetria and this crew in Fort Worth. so please make that first step with this Symetria family you will not regret it. I am 6 months in fighting a battle with Kratom. I called Symetria 6 months ago and the next morning I was in the office in Arlington. When I walked in I was a mess, crying and scared. They took me in and helped me right away and took their time with me and the process was so easy to get started. I cannot tell you how much better I felt that day walking out of there. I am doing more than great because of myself and the team in Arlington- David, Misty, Kari, Anita and the docs are so patient and really care. They chose a plan perfect for me and keep an eye on me all the time, they are available 24/7. How ever they figured out how to do it, they did it right! I am thankful for them and will always recommend them. I advise anyone to please just reach out and make that first call.

I spoke with Lauren about my needs. My experience was far beyond my expectations. I had a tooth pain like something I've never experienced before. I just walked in and was like, look I need help, I can't do this. They said give us an hour and we got you lol. I came back and they got me back there, prepped, ready and done in 45 minutes on a busy Friday afternoon. The real kicker is I went to another Dentist office and they quoted me a $900 for a tooth and I left this appointment paying around $150! I believe my dentist name at JPS was Dr Steven but him and his ENTIRE staff were not only amazing but really friendly too. Their care alone made my mouth calm down some on its own. I hope they see this review and know that I thank them for saving me from another night of absolute tooth torture! I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.
