TLDR: It saved my life.I m driving out to the ranch now to watch a friend graduate with a couple of other alumni pleasantly reminiscing and commiserating on our past time there. Looking back, I m giving 5 stars to this place, not because I loved my time there (it was fing tough), but because my time there impacted my life in a way other places haven t been able to. If you re a parent, a sibling, a spouse, or a significant other wondering Why tf can t he/she get this!? Why can t they stop? Can t they see they re killing me and themselves? We ve been through this rigmarole over and over, and we re at our wits end and financially drained. Or if you re the addict thinking I m so over this BS. What s the point. Nothings worked .AA is a joke, and treatment is a scam. then this may be a good place for you. Over 17 years, I ve been in and out of treatments from California, Minnesota, California, Utah, out to New Jersey. 30, 60, 90, and even a 12-month program. I ve hit the big names; Hazelden, The Retreat, Alina Lodge, Jaywalker Lodge, Michael s House, and a litany in Southern California. Nothing seemed to work. Finally, I landed in Kaufman, TX (honestly, one of the last states I cared to visit) and was presented with the difficult journey and option that is Burning Tree Recovery Ranch. I was in inpatient treatment for 17 months and 1 week .but hey, who s counting, and have been in their aftercare program now for 7 months, scheduled to complete in 5. This journey has been nothing short of a miracle. The treatment while in inpatient can be grueling and ridiculous, but hey, my behavior for the last 26 years (13-39) was beyond ridiculous to the point of terroristic, antisocial, and dangerous, so I d say I was met with an adequate force. A ridiculous place, with ridiculous rules, for ridiculous people, some would say. Long story short, I ve never been kept sober this long and felt so involved in life. I m supporting myself and show up as a productive and invested member of society, which I ve been incapable of achieving for any sustainable amount of time. Thank you to all those who have made this possible both inside and outside of BTTR, but especially thank you to the staff who showed up and fought head-on with me until I was ready to surrender. My wife and I just recently graduated DPR the place saved our lives and marriage I watched my wife not only gain recovery but help other clients in their recovery as well. We built a relationship with Jesus and now we live in Dallas and are productive members in society the program works thank you to Marcus Brown Raven Brian J Caroline Crystal Sarah Esther Gabby Joel amazing the therapist and RCs are great Henry Mack love you bro. But there is one thing that desperately needs to change and that s Mr William Langley the facility manager. He is a cancer to clients recovery in DPR he needs to be removed from staff before he destroys the very program that saved my family he is very disrespectful lies and is only about insurance money and it pains me to see that new clients won t get the same opportunity that we had the relapses are up the ACAs are up and he should be banded from all DPR property and I can promise you will see a growth in recovery but as long as he remains I wouldn t recommend anyone going to this program until he is removed immediately and this is coming from a leader within and out here if this program a walking testament that the program works but as long as Mr Langley is around all clients are doomed! I will go to wherever and whoever to expose him because people need this program and he simply won t test until they fail

This facility has been a blessing to my life. I was referred here by another facility and I m so grateful I got the opportunity to come here instead. All the staff has been amazing and have given me hope that I too can stay clean and one day be in their position. This place is one of the best places to go to for drug and alcohol rehabilitation. The staff listens to your needs and work very hard to make sure you get what you need. There is plenty of recreational activities to do, like horseback riding and zip lining. On Friday night there is karaoke and Saturday night there is trivia. They do a lot to keep your mine on your recovery like housekeeping and the do your laundry. This place is just awesome and that is an understatement!

I was a Client at gateway foundation correction in Wilmer TX, 2017. And I really don't know why there is so much hate in the reviews. Because this place saved my life literally. I was an addict for 20 years and the help and support I received in this program helped me see that I could recover. And I have. I will always be an addict but I am still sober and living my best life. And I owe it all to gateway and Ms. Barbra Becker & Ms. Hall. If you don't want to get better then yeah this place would suck! I guess it's hard to put yourself out there and review a place like this but let me say if you are struggling emotionally you should call. This is a great place all around, they help in any and every area but more importantly, you can tell that they really care. This is so important because often times dealing with mental illness people don't have support. They also have groups were you can meet new people who may just be going through the same thing you are. If you need financial help they can qualify you for a program that matches your income .

If you re serious about your recovery this is the place to take your life back !I started treatment on January 4th 2025 which was the best decision of my life. This is my 3rd month sober and I have to say that it was mainly because of the effectiveness of this program. I want to thank the whole staff for their professionalism and commitment. Edit update 1-8-2024I just received a bill for $577.06 from Bicycle Health for a visit I had on February 16, 2023 almost a year later. I have been on phone with insurance company and Bicycle Health and insurance company is saying denied because they must of coded it wrong. I can't get anyone else to help with this. The visit clearly states $199 a month so I have no idea why they are even charging me $577.06 for a visit. I have good credit . I owe nothing to anyone. Credit is spotless so if I don't pay they will put this on my credit. I will remove this review if someone from Bicycle Health will call me and bill me correctly which is $199 . This has just causedunnecessary stress. I will pay the $199 if you will help straighten this up please. My insurance has paid all year no problems with a $20 copay. I can't believe I'm slapped with a $577 bill almost a year later.Probably like everyone else I thought this may be a scam but I was willing to give it a shot to keep my life. It definitely is NOT a scam. I have been seeing doctor just for a few weeks now and so far I am impressed. The nurse is the nicest person I think I have ever met in the medical field. I don't talk about my past and everything I have gone through ever but she made me feel so comfortable sharing with her. I have been on pain pills since 2008 due to several injuries and surgeries. This year alone I have had two surgeries and although I stopped pills for a few years I had to restart this year because of surgeries that I had and need. I knew where this was headed. Back to the circle of draining account buying pain pills. Losing my life again. I am so grateful for Bicycle Health. Just a few short weeks and I already know my life will stay on track. If you are hesitant about calling and making appointment, don't be. This is 100 legit. I live in Texas so they take my health insurance. Even if they don't take insurance it is $199 affordable. Best thing I have done this year. Get out of that terrible circle. Take the chance and call them. You got this. You are worth it. The app is super easy to use and they also have support groups.

Kim is so kind and greets you when you walk in and makes you feel so welcome. Chris was amazing! He worked with me and got my strength back to be able to do more and go sailing again without being in major pain the next day. Thanks so much to Chris for all the hard work and dedication! I hope I don t have to come back (because it would mean I m injured again). However, the people here are so sweet I won t be too disappointed if I do have to return. Jayden and Cameron were also super nice and helped me stick to my routine and chatted with me to keep me motivated. This place is really awesome and made me feel so at home. I ll miss you all! This groups is the best! I have been to a ton of different PT companies in my past, and this is easily the best. Not only are the employees fantastic, professional, and friendly, but the main specialist (Doctor) Chris Troung is incredibly educated and and informational. Went into the location trying to get husband paper work filled out after a two week run and everyone sending me and telling me everything wrong...smh But today there were someone who knew her job made us feel as though we mattered she went beyond for us! I've been attending this facility since 2016 great OBGYN. Dr.Folashade is the best at the women's clinic. I would highly recommend her! The hospital was also great, I've only had one bad experience in 2022 sent me into a deep depression. But the nurses and staff was comforting some of the staff has been there for years. So many familiar faces I remember through my journey of coming here.

My review is based on my initial interactions with the staff at The Meadows Texas. My decision to choose this program for my Mother was made with complete confidence. The team at The Meadows Texas took time to listen, provided comforting words, gave advice, and explained their program in detail. Mark Degataga (Admissions Specialist) was my initial point of contact when I called to get information and I had already spoken to 9 other companies. He made me comfortable to go into detail about my Mothers struggles and was knowledgeable about the services The Meadows offered. Mark s passion for the program and detailed information made me feel confident that this program was what we needed for my Mother. Mark stayed in communication with me over the course of 8 days. Answered all my questions and checked in not only on my Mothers progress but to see how I was doing as well. Although the ability to tour the facility was not an option due to privacy of patients, Mark gave a detailed description of the property, rooms, therapy, treatments, and activities that were going to be available throughout the program. Mark s communication from the initial call all the way through admissions was extraordinary! He even called me to see how I was feeling after my Mom was situated and transported. Brenda Henson (Patient Financial Coordinator) was the second person I spoke to at The Meadows. She was professional and addressed all concerns. Not being able to tour the facility was still something I really wanted to do but understood the privacy of patients is important. I felt like at the very minimum I needed to see the grounds. I drove to The Meadows and had the opportunity to meet and speak with the Executive Director Lori Bachman. At this point I had already narrowed my decision down to 2 places. My conversation with Lori and ongoing communication with Mark made me feel at ease. The grounds were beautiful and Lori s passion shined through just as Mark s and Brenda s did. They were genuine and are truly in this to help patients. Rehabilitation Programs are the initial stepping stones to help individuals start their road towards a better future. I know there is a lot of hard work and dedication that will be needed for ongoing success. I m excited to see how my Mom will benefit from the treatment and services offered by The Meadows staff. I will post an update once services are completed. Thank you again to Mark, Brenda, and Lori for their compassion and assistance when dealing with a difficult time and helping this be a seamless process.

I attended The Meadows Texas in January of 2024 not knowing what to expect with this being my first time going to rehab. From the moment I was greeted by Kevin my anxiety was immediately put at ease. There are SO MANY staff members I am sincerely thankful for that words cannot express the gratitude I feel for them!Nurses Kayla, Hali, Tomsie, Deann, Leslie and Maureen to name a few although there are many others that truly had an impact on me during my stay there. Behavioral Health Techs James, Beth, Ebony, Amy, and Angie went above and beyond in their duties and helped me through the times I was at my lowest mentally, emotionally, and physically. Again, there were so many other staff members that I am so thankful for that aren't mentioned in this review.The food, facilities, and amenities were amazing! Between group therapy, individual therapy, equine therapy, lectures, and 12 step meetings the days are filled with all the tools needed to take control over your addiction. I could go on with all the good things I have to say about The Meadows but am trying to keep it brief. I'm so glad I chose this place!
