Dr Brown is amazing but the person that took my vitals was great to. She had a smile on her face and showed her care for me but so did Dr. Brown. I have gotten more from my 2 visits with her than I had with my previous Psychiatrist. Even when I checked in and checked out your staff was great. Tell Dr Brown for me thank you greatly for helping me out today. I needed it and look forward to my next appointment. I am not much of a writer hence my my words and punctuation in this review.

The facility is magnificent and far exceeded my expectations of a recovery facility. Firstly, I was allowed to bring my fur baby with me which was a wonderful comfort to me. I don’t think I would have done as well without having her with me. The facilities are clean and well-kempt. The staff is caring, understanding, and genuinely invested in your unique recovery journey (Jacob and Sunny are phenomenal). The therapists authentically understand the journey to recovery and ensure everyone feels respected and heard. While your recovery is taken seriously and put in the work, they make the process fun and relatable. The physician and nursing staff is thorough and available 24/7 - they care about each patient and their bedside manner is impeccable. They are NOT autonomous robots like you see with a lot of other medical facilities. Nursing even does occasional group sessions on the medical aspects of recovery, post-recovery preventative care. You are even sent home with a supply of medications to help bridge the gap between discharge and your own provider. And the food… where do I start? I have travelled all over the country for work, eating at high end hotels and restaurants yet the thrice daily meal here far exceeded in quality and variety. The thrice daily, freshly cooked international cuisines were amazing! They also have juices, sodas, flavored water, coffee, teas, high end snacks, and even ice cream available 24/7. They have working washers and dryers and even provide Tide pods and dryer sheets. The outside grounds are peaceful and the outside activities during and after group sessions are relaxing. They have karaoke, acupuncture, movie nights, and yoga among other activities. I highly recommend this facility!

Not a good place. If you don’t have transportation or employment, do not come here. The buses stop running early during the weekday and don’t run on weekends.. If you have a job where this is a requirement. There’s favoritism, meal portions are to small, and certain clients are treated unfairly. I think it’s unfair how this place is a 30 day shelter and it’s for women or men that have experienced sexual abuse, or domestic violence. I don’t see how this is enough time to heal. I’ve experienced both, and it’s definitely not a good place to recover. There is no privacy, or enough isolation at this location unless you walk the neighborhood to get peace. I do miss some of the staff there. They are really there to serve.

I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. Even after completing the program, I don’t feel alone. That sense of community is so strong that I’ve chosen to stay in the area and continue building my life here. Today, I’m 60 days sober. My mind is still clearing, but I feel something I haven’t felt in a long time—hope. This place didn’t just help me get sober. It helped save my life. We received counseling & while I was hoping for legal services as well the office is a little disorganized and never heard anything back after following up many times which is why I have 4 stars instead of 5. I was out of Harms way, but my son was released. I received call from a St.Joeseph hospital because he was released and was treated for exposure, trench feet from rain. If you're relative is mentally I'll try to do Medical Power Of Attorney in front of A Notory. They are delusional, but, You know they need help. Plus, you gotta stay safe. The Mental facility will release them, because they are a adult by law. That's my next step in getting my son help. Without, This document you can't assist them if they are a Adult. Its necessary in determining there help in getting on medication. God, Bless! Good Luck All.🙏

A wonderful place to change your life for the better. The employees there have become like family to me, especially Lois.
