Amazing environment and mind resetting center

What an incredible, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome place and community this place is! I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. They are #1 in my book and again I cannot give them enough thanks and praise for everything they’ve done for me!

Staff is great and the food is delicious. Counselors are knowledgeable and willing to help with all your needs.

This was my first time to do zoom videos for anything at first I really didn't think it was gonna be as awesome as it was but boy I was wrong if you get a chance to visit with the Adapt group do it it is well worth it the teachers are great and so are the other clients.

At Adapt the combined curriculum, love ❤️ & care of a listening therapist type counselor, I experienced uplifting Relief in the unique listening & sharing atmosphere. Also, I experienced more than just Freedom from alcohol , that slowly took control over me. I magically adapted to an enthusiastic attitude to replace the damages & Shame of the past , to moving forward & not looking back. By adopting the tools from processing in Group, & the curriculum Provided , I obtained wisdom through understanding in Each session & class. For those reasons...,To The Counselors & programs of IOP / SOP treatments gifted to me. I am forever grateful, & indebted to the Adapt Program, thank you ! This has to be one of the best recovery centers in Houston. Mr. Tim is amazing. Hes probably the best counselor that i have ever worked with. Hes supportive, honest and encouraging....You can tell that he really cares about his clients.

I go there all the time for therapy and it's also a resale shop so there are many clothes and stuff like that. It's an awesome environment everyone is very sweet and if you were in Irish needs there is food available. They were also help with any issues you're having money wise or anything like that. I think it's one of the best places here in bacliff for helping people in bad situations.

Donated a bunch of baby things to them and it was such a great experience, so kind and welcoming. Definitely give them a visit if you’re in the area!

My son Chad Finley was there in December of 2023. Chad was a really bad alcoholic . He have been making bad choices of driving while he was drinking. He's had several DWIs. Ever since he finished his program at your recovery center Chad has not had any alcohol he has been alcohol-free from that day. I can actually say that I y'all may have saved his life and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you've done

So i had a good/bad experience coming to the into action rehab center.This was a while back in 2017 like 8 years ago when huricane Harvey hit.By the way im comkng from vegas to houston.so I was 2 weeks there bearly finding & getting myself backk all together surely but slowly. Then that hurricane hit, so most of the employees weren't showing up cuz it was pretty big and we had alot of time jjs doing nothing cuz all meetings and group activities weren't going on.Then I had a minor problem with one of the patience there(its a long story but have no problem discussing it if asked)but got into 2 altercations with the same person.Im guessing both weren't my fault cuz u guys didnt kick me out.the second one u guys asked me what do I want to do and I thought i was ready and at that time i felt like everybody was against me and I jus told Tony the lady that was running at the time that I wanted to go home.so I left.u guys told me u guys kicked the other dude out.it was probley the biggest mistake I could of made tho cuz 8 years later nothings change.you guys were the only rehab place I been too.what im trying to get at is i think I need some type of help right now.im serious about quiting but It seems like I keep going down the same paths right into the same cycle.i believe I met u one time while I was there but this is one thing I been wanting to get off my chest and do regardless if something happens or not atleast I tried and gave this a shot.But other then whether conditions like hurricanes u guys are 5 star hands down best rehabilitation center ever. 🙏🙌👏🙏🙌👏🙏🙌👏🙏🙌👏🙏🙌👏🙏 Thanks, Anthony V.

It's a very friendly place

I literally was just sitting down, minding my business, waiting on a friend to take care of his business, when a worker legitimately concerned, asked me if someone had already helped me. That made me feel so seen, and validated somehow. If that's how they treat you without knowing if you're in for service, I can only imagine how committed they'll be when receiving care.

I’ve Known Of Montrose Counseling/Community Center since Summer of 1995. During That Time MCC was located on Richmond Avenue in a beautiful but smaller building than they’re in now. My first Therapist was Lee Willis a phenomenal therapist for anyone living with gender dysphoria. Since then I’ve had sporadic experiences at MCC from 1995 till 2008. However, when I move back to Houston in 2008 I started going To MCC consistently especially after 2009. I’ve had some wonderful case managers and therapist from Mandy Lloyd in 2009 till Daniel Perez now. I can honestly say there’re people who work at MCC who authentically care about the LGBTQ+ community of Houston very much, and those same people are willing to provide exceptional services for anyone regardless of their sexual orientation, gender, religion, or race to me that’s commendable. I lost my Therapist/ Friend Mike Ator in November Of last year 11-04-24 was the day I was told he had passed away, and that news shook me to my core it was devastating heartbreaking news. I miss him greatly and that’s the kind of people that work at MCC phenomenal people who truly care and reaffirm to their clients they matter. In closing, I wholeheartedly recommend MCC to anyone who seeking services like Mental Wellness, Community groups to network, groups that meet to discuss life’s challenges, and helping people who are apart of the LGBTQ+ community by reaffirming the fact YOU MATTER 🤗 I Sincerely And Unequivocally give MCC Five Stars For being a lighthouse In Dark Times Thank You ☺️ GOD Bless 🙏🏾 !!!!!!

I had a great experience with them. I had no idea who to turn to when DV happened to me and my daughter. We received counseling & while I was hoping for legal services as well the office is a little disorganized and never heard anything back after following up many times which is why I have 4 stars instead of 5. But if you’re someone in need they do their best to help you.

I was there last year and it was amazing the staff I miss I got blessed by getting in a place with me and my 4 year old. I truly miss the workers there

The staff was nice, but I had a long wait because the their internet service was down. I really hope they can help me with my needs without having to physically coming to this location because its a very long ride on the city bus to get here from where I live.

Called them when I hit rock bottom 📞. Didn’t expect much, but man... they picked up fast and talked to me like a person, not a screw-up . That first call kinda saved me, not even gonna lie.They helped me get into detox quick. It wasn’t easy, but they made sure I wasn’t alone. If you’re stuck and don’t know where to turn, just call.
