It seems like the VA is really stepping it up with the people they are hiring like Daniel Matthews in physical therapy. He was a therapist from Baylor and knew what was wrong in less than a minute. He wasn't rushing though in fact he took his time to show me the stretches and get them tensioned just right. I hope the VA keeps heading this direction.

Been coming here for years. This is not hyperbole, Siddhayatan Tirth helped me save myself over three years ago. The cows made me a vegetarian on my first visit (this is obviously a longer story, but my daughter likes to tell people that). I found a thread of myself there, a self I'd known and forgotten, a self that isn't a self because we are all one and everything is illusion (science), a foot back on my life path. Every time I return, I feel like I'm coming home. Try it out, you may find yourself there. You may find self love. You might just find a peaceful atmosphere and really yummy vegetarian food. If you take a course, you will learn something. If you do the work, you will grow. It's a safe place to just be you. No, it isn't perfect. You might have to find someone if you need something, but everyone is kind and wants to help. In all the many winter trips I've taken there, I've never been cold in the rooms. All the rooms I've stayed in have a self controlled pilot light heater and wall unit AC.I'm a well traveled, overly opinionated, neurodivergent, scientifically-minded woman, and I come back here again and again because there is no other place that gives me such peace, such hope, such momentum as Siddhayatan Tirth no matter how many minor annoyances I experience (I'm sooo easily irritated by silly things like having to ask for things or when things aren't as expected schedule-wise or physically) haha...if I can relax, you've got a chance).

Mom and Daughter get away to Discover [our] Purpose. Wanted to disconnect from our normal and demonstrate to my minor that there are multiple ways of living and finding happiness and peace.The patrons, monks, and staff were all very encouraging making both of us feel welcome, but more importantly, providing a safe place to learn, grow, and develop in a positively uplifting environment without shame. (High school girls can be so mean to each other! What am I saying adult women can be too. And more so to ourselves.)The minimalist set up in the wilderness provided ample time and the right place to have deep conversations (a mother s dream) without all the distractions of social media and friends. My daughter told me that this place made her better appreciate the luxuries she had back home. (Another parenting win!!)We journaled, walked the grounds with our pups, and set goals with the information we learned. They demonstrated several practices and ways of being that resonated with us and provided experiential/empirically supported proof that the practices are sound; they do what they say they are going to do.The overall experience provided us time to bond - connecting there and at home while reviewing what we ve learned. Would highly recommend for any parent-child retreat.

I was in a really bad place when I was admitted. Severe anxiety, depression was off the charts and on the verge of taking my own life. Going to green oaks was the one of the very best decision I have made in my life!! The staff on the restore unit was very pivotal in my recovery. One very important person that I want to give a huge thank you to is a great nurse by the name of BERKELEY!!! SHE SAVED MY LIFE!!! When I was done with the intake process I was taken to the restore unit and shown to my room. As I said earlier I was in a very bad head space and had zero control of my mind. Fear and anxiety had taken over and had consumed me. I was hallucinating and fight or flight had kicked into high gear. BERKELEY noticed it and jumped in to action she came to me and did everything she could to try to settle my brain down, a huge task she had if I'm honest. But she was relentless she talked to me for a while and she was getting worried. She decided she really needed to check my blood pressure because of what my mind was putting me thru and the fact I couldn't calm down. I can not thank her enough for doing that, had she not I surely would have had a stroke or heart attack. My blood pressure was thru the roof!! It was so high she called the doctor at home on a Saturday night!The next day I could remember someone helping me but not a name or a face. A few days later someone walked up and said " Willard how are you feeling?" I recognized the voice.. it was her, this was the voice I remembered, this was the nurse who saved my life!!! BERKELEY thank you so much!!!So will say things like that's her job or that's what she is paid for. I get that but as someone who has spent a ton of time at children's hospital with one of my daughters A GREAT NURSE THAT WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND IS A RARE!!I Also want to mention a couple other people that really helped me. My NP Jessica really took the time to listen to me and worked with me to find the right combination of medication. Most doctors just throw meds at you and say let's see what happens. Not this one. She really cares for her patients. The techs were awesome!! Ms. Donna, Abby, Juanita and can't forget Bree!! There is also Betsy who really helped me to process some things as well as giving me some great advice on how to explain things to my kids.The people I mentioned above helped me to get through a very tough time in my life. March 1st 2025 will always be an important day for me as I almost lost my life twice that day. But also because that was the day I has myself admitted to Green Oaks Hospital and started my mental health recovery.Thank all of you for going above and beyond for me. You all will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!!!If you struggle with mental health i highly recommend this place. So much so that when my fiance started to struggle I took her here as well because I knew she would be cared for properly!!!!

My husband was admitted through the ER and ended up staying for 4 days. Everyone from the er to the 4th floor where he spent his stay were the best. Friendly,courteous, compassionate,professional. My husband had a team of doctors and nurses who gave him the best care after finding out that he had a serious illness. Huge "Well Done" to the nurses on the 4th floor. From the charge nurses to medication staff to ,vitals nurses to doctors to specialists, staff bringing food and providing cleaning. I have been to so many places but I never felt heard like this before. Meds working but you're having annoying side effects? They'll listen to you and they'll let you try everything until you find what you like! They do it right too! They check in with you to make sure you're okay, you can call anytime if you need help with anything, and they have soooo many resources to help you. Addiction, medicine, therapy, if you want to get help, this is the place you should go. They understand you. Too busy? They do over the phone appointments sometimes too! Not to mention how personable everyone is. The ladies up front will remember you, the doctors and nurses are spectacular human beings! They're all a little goofy but they're also wonderful listeners. If you are reading this, just go. What's the worse that could happen? They won't let you get worse and stay that way. It's worth the effort.

I guess it's hard to put yourself out there and review a place like this but let me say if you are struggling emotionally you should call. This is a great place all around, they help in any and every area but more importantly, you can tell that they really care. This is so important because often times dealing with mental illness people don't have support. They also have groups were you can meet new people who may just be going through the same thing you are. If you need financial help they can qualify you for a program that matches your income .

Costello is my SAG name. My name is James Dupee. I have been visiting the clinic for over a year and have been very pleased. Adam is the best Counselor/Therapist I have ever confided in. He is personable and understanding as well as straight forward with his advice. Cynthia is the most amazing face of a company I have ever met. Symetria Recovery saved my life!! I was driving down the highway suffering major withdraw from opioid addiction. I found Symetria Recovery and they had me in the very next day. When I got tested, I was positive for Fentanyl, which had to of come from something off the street. My wife and I just recently graduated DPR the place saved our lives and marriage I watched my wife not only gain recovery but help other clients in their recovery as well. We built a relationship with Jesus and now we live in Dallas and are productive members in society the program works thank you to Marcus Brown Raven Brian J Caroline Crystal Sarah Esther Gabby Joel amazing the therapist and RCs are great Henry Mack love you bro. But there is one thing that desperately needs to change and that s Mr William Langley the facility manager. He is a cancer to clients recovery in DPR he needs to be removed from staff before he destroys the very program that saved my family he is very disrespectful lies and is only about insurance money and it pains me to see that new clients won t get the same opportunity that we had the relapses are up the ACAs are up and he should be banded from all DPR property and I can promise you will see a growth in recovery but as long as he remains I wouldn t recommend anyone going to this program until he is removed immediately and this is coming from a leader within and out here if this program a walking testament that the program works but as long as Mr Langley is around all clients are doomed! I will go to wherever and whoever to expose him because people need this program and he simply won t test until they fail

If you want a way out of that hell hole called addiction this is the place to go. This place has literally saved my life. The staff here are so caring and understanding of addiction because most of them are in recovery as well. I gotta say Nay is my favorite though. Will is pretty awesome as well but i could go on and on with how much each and every one one of them have had a positive impact on my recovery!!!
