I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place helped me reset without falling behind in school. The outpatient schedule worked with my classes, and being around others my age made things less awkward. Some groups felt repetitive, but I still got a lot from it.

Honestly I didn’t expect to feel heard here but the IOP track actually worked for my schedule. The groups weren’t all perfect, but I did connect with people my age and learned how to say no without feeling weird. Super glad I went.

I came to Cenikor in pieces after losing my husband and struggling with the bottle. At 67, I wasn’t sure a place like this could really understand someone my age. But they did. The staff treated me with kindness, and the detox was slow and gentle, which I needed. Some days felt long, and group sessions were hit or miss, but I found comfort in other women like me. I wish there was more grief support, but overall it helped me feel human again.

once i was discharged,i need medication,and i had to wait two weeks before i got the right meds. but other than that everyone was realy nice and understanding,they work hard with you for your recovery.

I have had the best experience a mother could hope for at a treatment center. My daughter is healthy, happy and moving on to sober living. My son attended court ordered treatment centers without results. Cenikor is different. Counseling is one on one and the people are kind and helpful. Also, extremely honest and resourceful.

I went to Glen Oaks not sure of what to expect. From the moment I got there and everyone was friendly and caring. Every step of the process was handled with a staff member that met my needs and explained what was going on. Out of my entire stay, I only have two complaints. The first being housekeeping didn't do a good job of sweeping and mopping. The second being I did not care for Serena a group leader. Not all the staff are perfect. I did meet a lot of great people. Tempest was amazing bright cheerful smile. Both Angie's were awesome. My favorite person was Juanita! I will say the dietary needs to be worked on especially for diabetics. We are not suppose to eat carbs like other patients. The group activity were wonderful. I had a lot of fun inside the block with my hall mates. The patients help each other and make the days go by.

My 16 year old daughter was on a path of destruction. She had been trying to stop the addictive behaviors on her own but ended up self medicating because of the stress from trying to stop. Her grades were suffering at school and she was pulling away from family. She ran away which was the last straw. We took her to Sundown Ranch and we are very grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Echols and all of the staff & counselors. The staff truly care about the residents. My daughter has returned home and is transitioning into life at home. I don't believe that she would have been as successful if she had not gone to Sundown Ranch.

My daughter has been in and out of hospitals/rehab for the last 5 years, and this is the first place that saw through her "fake it to make it" bs and really worked on why she is so unhappy.
I can't tell you the difference I have seen in my daughter! They really help the "whole" self and push the kids to go past their walls.
The counselors are the best I have ever encountered. They can really tell who is BSing or not, and help them feel safe in telling what is really in their mind without felling like they are going to be judged.
The ROPES program they have also is great for kids that do not have any confidence or trust anyone. My daughter started off slowly, but is now really working on her trust issues due to ROPES and the counselors follow up after ROPES.
The parent weekends once a month are in my mind essential to helping the parents learn more about the diseases of addiction/psych problems, and trying to see it through your child's eyes.

Loved this clinic when I went there. Staff was amazing my counselor Caroline was someone I enjoyed meeting with. I miss this clinic the one I am at now in Tennessee is terrible I’d do anything to be back there. Great place all around definitely suggest to anyone seeking outpatient treatment.

I've been seeing Tracy Taylor for my mental health and psychiatric issues for over 3 years now. He takes time to listen, shows empathy and sympathy for you. He takes as much time as possible trying to get to know you and figure out your issues and treats you accordingly, including referring you to see a therapist/counselor. I appreciate him very much, especially him having to deal with my multiple mental/psychiatric issues. My situation is complicated, yet he hasn't given up on me. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is always very positive about things. I wouldn't ever want to be under the care of anyone else for these issues, if at all possible. He's an absolutely wonderful person who actually cares about his patients. I've also been seeing Emili Lim, the counselor that Tracy referred me to start seeing about 3 years ago. Emili is an absolutely amazing person! She is sympathetic and empathetic just as Tracy is. Emili gives the best advice to help deal with difficult situations in the easiest way possible. We all know there's no easy way to deal with every situation, but Emili will be there for you to talk you, give you advice, and help you through it. She will help you realize that everything isn't your fault, you can't control every situation, you can't change the past (only how you react to or deal with it), teach you to set boundaries between yourself and toxic people that keep causing you pain, they keep you on an emotional/mentally unstable rollercoaster or setting off triggers within you. After 3 years of dealing with all of my complicated situations and issues, I'm extremely thankful she's still here for me. Emili goes above and beyond for her patients. It definitely shows and proves that she really cares about them and she loves what she does. Since seeing her I feel like I've gained a new best friend, especially since she knows literally EVERYTHING about me, my family, and pretty much my whole life. When I feel like my life is spiraling out of control and I'm all alone during these times, Emili is one person I know I can count on to be there for me. She's the one person I know I will have on my side and that keeps me from feeling like I'm alone 24/7. So, if y'all are having some mental issues, don't be ashamed or afraid to see someone for it. If you're reading this, you have found exactly where to go and who you should see to shake off being uncomfortable or afraid of talking about whatever your problems are.
