Caring dedicated hard working staff who goes above and beyond to make sure your mental health is in tip top shape, and your well being is so important to them, they really care and try to help make sure all your needs are met. I attended Burning Tree Ranch in 2019 after having been to multiple inpatient treatment centers. I was drawn to Burning Tree because of its long-term, Big Book–based approach, and it delivered on that promise. My time there helped me better understand alcoholism as a disease, address my root issues, and build a sustainable path to sobriety.
A major strength of the program is its focus on healthy family involvement. My family gained education, boundaries, and non-enabling support, which was an important part of my recovery. Their aftercare program also stands out for keeping clients engaged and accountable well beyond treatment. Many of my closest connections today are still part of the Burning Tree community.
If you or a loved one struggle with chronic relapse, it would be worth exploring whether Burning Tree is a good fit.

My review is based on my initial interactions with the staff at The Meadows Texas. My decision to choose this program for my Mother was made with complete confidence. The team at The Meadows Texas took time to listen, provided comforting words, gave advice, and explained their program in detail. Mark Degataga (Admissions Specialist) was my initial point of contact when I called to get information and I had already spoken to 9 other companies. He made me comfortable to go into detail about my Mothers struggles and was knowledgeable about the services The Meadows offered. Mark’s passion for the program and detailed information made me feel confident that this program was what we needed for my Mother. Mark stayed in communication with me over the course of 8 days. Answered all my questions and checked in not only on my Mothers progress but to see how I was doing as well. Although the ability to tour the facility was not an option due to privacy of patients, Mark gave a detailed description of the property, rooms, therapy, treatments, and activities that were going to be available throughout the program. Mark’s communication from the initial call all the way through admissions was extraordinary! He even called me to see how I was feeling after my Mom was situated and transported. Brenda Henson (Patient Financial Coordinator) was the second person I spoke to at The Meadows. She was professional and addressed all concerns. Not being able to tour the facility was still something I really wanted to do but understood the privacy of patients is important. I felt like at the very minimum I needed to see the grounds. I drove to The Meadows and had the opportunity to meet and speak with the Executive Director Lori Bachman. At this point I had already narrowed my decision down to 2 places. My conversation with Lori and ongoing communication with Mark made me feel at ease. The grounds were beautiful and Lori’s passion shined through just as Mark’s and Brenda’s did. They were genuine and are truly in this to help patients. Rehabilitation Programs are the initial stepping stones to help individuals start their road towards a better future. I know there is a lot of hard work and dedication that will be needed for ongoing success. I’m excited to see how my Mom will benefit from the treatment and services offered by The Meadows staff. I will post an update once services are completed. Thank you again to Mark, Brenda, and Lori for their compassion and assistance when dealing with a difficult time and helping this be a seamless process.

Sending our son to Resolution Ranch was really hard, but it was absolutely the right decision.We were struggling, and he was struggling.He finally found the support and understanding he needed.The therapists and staff truly cared about him as an individual.We saw him grow in confidence and self-awareness during his time there.It wasn't easy, but Resolution Ranch gave him and our family a second chance.We are forever grateful. As a former student at Resolution Ranch Academy I honestly can't say enough good things about this place, I was sent here early December 2023 by my parents to be given a chance to turn my life around/to abandon the negative lifestyle that I was living. Before attending the ranch I was on a daily basis using drugs, skipping school, and disregarding authority all together. I won't lie and say this place was easy or that all my problems in life are gone because of my time at the ranch, but I will say if you are truly able to help your kid understand that change needs to happen and that the way he is living currently isn't working and that this place isn't a punishment, you can expect positive change. The staff there do truly care and want to see the best for you many of whom I still keep in contact with after graduating recently January of this year. The therapists there are also really empathetic most especially the one who I was assigned with, Mr. Clayton. He would consistently go out of his way to check in with his other students not because he was required to but because he cared, I can remember the countless times where it would be hours past his shift and he would still be there talking and processing with me to help me deal with my emotions and problems that I was struggling with. Thanks to the ranch I was able to excel at school and was able to turn my thoughts of wanting to dropout into now pursuing my education even further. The teachers there are super supportive and are willing to help you any chance they can and because of this I was able to go into the ranch mid way through my sophomore year of high school and come out a year later a high school graduate. As I mentioned before, yes this place can be difficult however anything worth doing WILL take time and on top of that your effort into whatever it is you are working on. If you choose to go in with a bad mindset chances are not much will change, but if you truly dedicate yourself to change I can promise you that you will be rewarded for your hard work. Lastly, I'd like to thank the ranch once again for all that they have done and the opportunities that they provided for me to be able to succeed in life in a way that I was unsure on how to do before.

Not all the staff are perfect. I did meet a lot of great people. Tempest was amazing bright cheerful smile. Both Angie's were awesome. My favorite person was Juanita! I will say the dietary needs to be worked on especially for diabetics. We are not suppose to eat carbs like other patients. The group activity were wonderful. I had a lot of fun inside the block with my hall mates. The patients help each other and make the days go by.

I can't say enough good things about this place. These folks have helped me more in 2months than other places did in years!!! My therapist and case manager are my angels! I've seen child clients run to there therapist when the door swung open...it's not just me receiving the GLORIOUS help here. Do the deal and let them help you. I entered CADA March 30, 2017, I was completely out of hope, and full of despair, the only solution I thought I had was suicide. My drinking, and drug use took me to a place of desperation. I could not stay sober, but I could not quit using. I went 20 plus years of suffering. The only coping mechanism I had, for every emotion, was to change the was I felt with drugs, and alcohol. When I was sad, I used, when I was happy, I used. My life revolved around when I would get my next bottle, or find my next high. I lied, cheated, and stole, whatever it took to get my drug of choice. I destroyed my family, and friends. I was like a hurricane in people I loved lives. I saw only darkness.
In CADA, I learned tools, coping mechanisms, of how to deal with life, on life's terms, without alcohol, and drugs. I gained a new sense of self worth. I started to recover from a disease that had already taken so many I loved, including my mother.
CADA took another chance on me 6 months into my recovery. I was hired as part of the support staff. I continued to learn and grow, in the place that saved my life. Three, and half years later, I am now part of the Peer Support Team, giving back, what was given to me.
One of my favorite quotes is, "It is always darkest before the dawn." CADA gave me my dawn.

CADA offers a treatment solution for almost anyone! It is affordable and very comprehensive in its therapy. My favorite programs at CADA are the adolescent treatment facility, which includes a full time teacher, and the Family program. Women who are pregnant, or have children are welcomed in the family hall. Their children attend public school. Infants and toddlers are cared for while the ladies participate in their groups or counseling sessions. CADA has been a LIFESAVER for hundreds of recovering people!

I arrived at the mission on November 30, 2018 broken and lost, an addict with no sense of direction and 17 years of self medicating. I joined the one year program then graduated to the internship program for another year. Once I completed my internship I became a staff member which lead to another four years. What the mission gave I could never repay. I found christ and letting him into my life as been the best and most rewarding experience. I now have a relationship with christ and first put God first in every decision I make. Three months ago, my dad was very sick and was ordered to go the nearest hospital and so I drove him . We were immediately checked in and the Doctor immediately went to work on him. They explained everything that was going on and treated him well. He was admitted to icu, where he spent the next five days. Dr. Miller ( who I can’t say enough good things about ) was awesome from beginning to end. Unfortunately after three months passes, my dad is having issues, because of the care he received we took him back to this hospital. Again, they had him checked in, the nursing staff treated him with great care. The Doctor on duty was not what I had experienced at the previous visit so I can’t say I was happy with her. She only came in the room once and stuck her head in once. She didn’t explain anything to us. Never knew what was happening. Later he was admitted which would be around 4 am the next morning. Dr. Miller was with my dad by 6 am. The nurses took very good care of dad. He loves Ms. Dorsey. From that 4 am admit until today when we left, every single person we came in contact with was educated, I caring and super friendly. I am happy that our hospital is making some good changes. I pray that it continues to strive. We need this place in our town. Thank you Dr. Miller and staff for helping my dad live a little longer, thank you for caring about not just him but his children too. Keep up the good work.

The staff gives off great energy, that allows you to free safe and comfortable. I’ve been to a lot of different places in the past five years but only have I felt good energy in a few and Serenity Springs most definitely was one.

This place is trash. The counselor Kim ( black woman) was flirting with and trying to get with my husband after he was a patient there. What a joke. This has to be a violation of HIPPA rules. She needs to be fired she not there to help but to destroy families. Telling my husband d she wants to fight me for what? My man?
