Lindsey helped me alot and is the best work er up at the Oceans and needs a raise, I am looking forward to starting the out patient program on Hawkins and judson, I love Willie Nelson

I have been going to add a life for over two years these guys and counselors are the greatest. I have even guest dose at other clinics and would rather stay here and still drive 3 hrs to see them. They really do help you here!!

I have been there 4 times in the last month and I have nothing but good to say about everybody there. Extremely nice people and very helpful. I don't understand the bad reviews

So far this clinic has renewed my faith in the VA.

I have been going to the Tyler Clinic and they are cordial and take their time and are thoughtful and thorough! Getting an appointment is a drawn out process but that is the VA system!

Hi 👋 after seeing all the negative reviews.. I would like to share my experience as a patient myself in this facility. I suffered from depression and alcohol abuse. I was placed in this facility by the emergency room I was at. I did not pick this place as my first choice. Who was I to be picky anyway. I needed help. When I first arrived I was very sick and going through withdrawals. I was a bit terrified because it was a scary place to be in considering you’re in there with other addicts and we all looked like sh** to say the least. But after awhile I got use to it and came to realize they were human just like myself and are actually good people who just were in this same cycle of abuse I was in. I felt like I was going to die in there the first few days because I was so sick from my withdrawals and getting up everyday for checks, meds, meeting with psychologist, counselor, groups, etc was very difficult for me. But I was so thankful for what seemed like help for the first time in my life I wasn’t going to give up. The staff was nice and friendly. There is A LOT going on in there so I can see how a need or two may not be met. You have to realize you’re not dealing with sane individuals in here. You’re dealing with lost souls. That is not easy work. The bathrooms are dungeon like lol but it got the job done. The food was excellent. They had it going on with the meals and snacks. lol they offered cigs and phone calls. We got to go outside and be social. They have a picnic area and a basketball court. They had a living area for movies. Just to name a few. It really wasn’t that bad. Yes I did get put on medication and was doped up but I needed it at that time. Coming off anything causes a lot of anxiety and depression. When I got out I got to talk to my doctor and Psychiatrist about meds and we changed what was needed. While I was there they talked to me about options for long term treatment. But at the time I didn’t want to do a long term treatment center. So they asked different questions and made sure I had somewhere to go when I left. Which was home for me. I lived by myself so they set me up for outpatient care and I had a whole team of people working for me and would come to my house. I was really grateful for the experience. It was eye opening for me. I enjoyed the group therapy classes. It was a great start for my recovery. Although, I ended up relapsing again and again. This place really helped me. Don’t except your loved ones to come out of here completely brand new. Becoming sober is a long road to recovery. It may take several rehabs and several relapses. It’s all about the will power and mindset. And most definitely the support of professionals. That’s why relying on family alone does not work. We have to let the professionals do their job. Again, I’m thankful for my experience here and I’m almost 2 years sober now. I hope this message finds you well. I do not mean to push any buttons or insult anyone. I’m just sharing my own personal experience. God bless anyone fighting addiction and families who are affected as well. May God be with us all. 🙏

I gave this facility 4 stars because I didn't like being taken advantage of by other clients or staff. And going back inpatient 3x after taking care of myself and meeting my needs was simply ridiculous!

Still awaiting a answer I love the fact that u can communicate with the community this way if u have a question.

I entered CADA March 30, 2017, I was completely out of hope, and full of despair, the only solution I thought I had was suicide. My drinking, and drug use took me to a place of desperation. I could not stay sober, but I could not quit using. I went 20 plus years of suffering. The only coping mechanism I had, for every emotion, was to change the was I felt with drugs, and alcohol. When I was sad, I used, when I was happy, I used. My life revolved around when I would get my next bottle, or find my next high. I lied, cheated, and stole, whatever it took to get my drug of choice. I destroyed my family, and friends. I was like a hurricane in people I loved lives. I saw only darkness. In CADA, I learned tools, coping mechanisms, of how to deal with life, on life's terms, without alcohol, and drugs. I gained a new sense of self worth. I started to recover from a disease that had already taken so many I loved, including my mother. CADA took another chance on me 6 months into my recovery. I was hired as part of the support staff. I continued to learn and grow, in the place that saved my life. Three, and half years later, I am now part of the Peer Support Team, giving back, what was given to me. One of my favorite quotes is, "It is always darkest before the dawn." CADA gave me my dawn.

CADA offers a treatment solution for almost anyone! It is affordable and very comprehensive in its therapy. My favorite programs at CADA are the adolescent treatment facility, which includes a full time teacher, and the Family program. Women who are pregnant, or have children are welcomed in the family hall. Their children attend public school. Infants and toddlers are cared for while the ladies participate in their groups or counseling sessions. CADA has been a LIFESAVER for hundreds of recovering people!

I would like to take a moment to share my gratitude and appreciation for Lacy and the incredible work she did with my daughter during her time at Sundown Ranch. From the very beginning, Lacy demonstrated not only professionalism, but also compassion, patience, and a true ability to connect. She took the time to understand my daughter’s individual needs and created a safe space where she felt heard, respected, and supported. Lacy’s approach was both structured and empathetic, which allowed my daughter to open up in ways I had not seen before. She was consistent in providing guidance, encouragement, and tools that have had a lasting positive impact. The progress my daughter made under Lacy’s care is something I will always be thankful for. It is clear that Lacy genuinely cares about the young people she works with, and her dedication shines through in the trust she builds and the progress she helps facilitate. I could not have asked for a better therapist to support my daughter through such an important time in her life.

I want to express my deep appreciation for the outstanding work Lacy has done with my niece during her time at Sundown Ranch. From the start, it was clear that Lacy had a special ability to connect with her and create a safe, supportive environment where she could open up and grow. The progress my niece has made under Lacy’s guidance has been remarkable. I have seen such a positive change in her attitude, her outlook, and her actions. She carries herself with more confidence, communicates more openly, and is making healthier choices in her daily life. These changes reflect not only my niece’s hard work, but also the consistent support, insight, and encouragement Lacy has provided throughout the process. It is evident that Lacy is dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled at what she does. Her impact has extended beyond my niece to our entire family, as we now see her thriving in ways we once worried might not be possible. I am truly grateful for the role Lacy has played in her progress and highly commend the work she is doing at Sundown Ranch.

Even though i didn’t complete the program, i was greatly impacted by Sundown Ranch. The counselors are absolutely amazing and have your best interest at heart. I have been sober almost nine months thanks to this program. I was able to find God again and that has greatly impacted my life. I genuinely want to thank all of the staff who helped me and encouraged me to do good. I love you all at Sundown so much. Thank you for helping me change my life. Especially Sam and Cyla. Will never forget yall❤️
