I don’t think I can say enough good things about this amazing place called Texas Health Recovery Center in Mansfield, TX. The staff truly care and the programming is extremely thorough and helpful to get a person suffering from addiction (whether it be from prescription, alcohol, narcotics, etc.) back on their ‘clean’ feet physically, mentally and emotionally. Tyler Winter who runs the alumni meetings and several of the group classes brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to the table. In fact, I would say he was an invaluable resource in guiding me to that “Spiritual Awakening” the big book talks about and is essential for true recovery.The social worker(s) and psych team really get in depth with the recovery process for the group as a whole and on an individual basis with each “guest”. I don’t think anyone necessarily plans and times when they check into recovery but my one and only regret is never getting to enjoy the magnificent pool by being at THRC - Mansfield during the summer months. Impeccable treatment center.

It’s been over a year since I left from there but while I was there I had the most amazing and eye opening experience in my entire life…. The staff was very helpful to me and everybody else but most of all even after all this time I can still remember every moment I had there so thank you TRC for helping me in my recovery
