I blame myself for not communicating better. At the time I was forced to leave my denton home and stay with family in the colony and had to drive every day Mon thru Fri to denton. I finally tried looking for some place closer and thank the Lord He led me here. I called and they asked about insurance which I gave all my info about. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. RJ S 1 year ago I’m writing this review as it has been 6 months and 1 day since a small group of family and indirect supporters led me to Enterhealth after months of isolating with Tito’s was followed by years of binge drinking and drinking throughout the day, to get through the day. Everyone’s journey in sobriety is different and people take away different things from recovery. This is my 2nd time to go to treatment and it has been completely different than my 1st time. I feel like Enterhealth not only “got me sober”, but they helped me battle this by addressing my physical health, my strengths and weaknesses as well as my mental health. I also feel like I was given the freedom to be in charge of my own recovery plan. Physical and mental health were important to me and they allowed me to dive into that. I’m also not religious so I was much more receptive to their curriculum on the disease instead of just praying it into remission with AA. (Although they do offer AA based groups). Other things such as the community, the food, the privacy of your own cabin, the routine and the amenities are all major perks that help you focus on your treatment. I will say, this place is a major investment. I would be wary if your loved one is resistant to change. I feel like Enterhealth is a huge gift. There is an article by, David S. who is an alumnus of the Sontx Residential Program. Wrote and published an article called: "Acceptance Is (Not The Final) Answer" It's sad that their are individuals who place personality before principals. This article proves it. The individual takes a corner stone in recovery, "Acceptance" and makes a mockery of it by taking the negative points that an individual can take away from it and saying that's all we believe in recovery. Obviously, David has not fully subscribed to recovery yet. All that he accuses those in recovery of believing about acceptance is wrong and only shows his ignorance. I don't choose to subscribe to the thought that all in recovery are as ignorant as David S. However David said "Acceptance is not the answer to all my problems today"! Randy Robinson 2 months ago I was admitted to the Psych Ward (hopefully this is the right place to put the review) a little over a year ago because I was withdrawing from a drug (I'll be coy about which one it was, but those in the know can probably guess and whittle it down to one or two classes of drug) I no longer wanted to take that can cause death if the withdrawal is not handled medically. The staff at the psych ward for medical city Frisco are probably why I'm alive with a healthy body (I've lost a lot of weight since as well, another good side effect of quiting the drug was that I no longer would gain weight because of it) and doing well today and have not had to take said drug again to manage my condition. I feel morally obligated to thank the mental health and psychiatry people at Medical City Frisco for how well they handled my emergency. Also, the facilities at this hospital (not just the Psych Ward, I took a little stroll through the whole place as I was leaving) are truly next level. This is BY FAR the nicest looking architecturally and probably most advanced technological hospital I've ever visited (for myself or as a visitor for family). If you need truly top tier care, you can't go wrong with the Medical City hospital chain in my opinion, and especially their new Frisco branch, which is even more impressive than the one in Plano. Individual care and whatnot is of course going to depend on things like which doctor you get...but the facilities are truly really cool here and that IS something to take into account if you have an emergency. I imagine every good doctor in the DFW area wants to work here, and so the quality of care may be correlated to the facility quality, which is top notch. Hopefully others receive the same quality of care I received. If you are having a psychotic episode or other severe mental health issue that requires hospitalization, then please consider a Medical City hospital and especially their Frisco branch if you have the ability to choose the location of your stay. Also, the food while I was staying was really good. Just a little thing I know, but it goes to show they don't skimp anywhere in their treatment. They definitely push to medicate, so if you are not comfortable just voice your concerns and request a more thorough diagnosis. I was able to contact my loved one and they were able to call me anytime. I was able to see my loved one 3x a week but I had to sign up via signup genius in order to do so. Definitely read their policies thoroughly. We unfortunately came through intake around 3 am and I was very tired and missed a few rules. It makes visits and dropping off clothes easier if you read. While I recommend this hospital, one piece of advice is for aftercare. Definitely do your research on PHP and IOP programs because they are not all as good as this hospital. I wanted to make sure that I had the time to really write in detail how well my son did with the program at Center for Discovery and how much he connected not only with the other kids there but with the staff. It has made a huge impact on him and us. Sometimes, I felt like we were spoiled. :) This has been a long journey and especially for my son since we didn't know till much later. When the decision was made that he needed to go to a residential, I was terrified and nervous. They worked super hard with our insurance to get him in and because CFD is 3.5 hours away from us, I was very reluctant, but we knew we had to do what we had to do for the health and healing journey for our child. It was a struggle trying to find a place that accepted adolescent males. I thank God every day that CFD accepted boys. We were so scared that were not going to be able to find anything for him in the state. Thankfully, we were able with the help of CFD speaking with the insurance back and forth, he was in. At this point he and the family just wanted to get started with this program. We were all so exhausted and I was emotionally drained. When we came for his admission, the whole staff greeted us with kind hearts and smiles. Just the knowing how scared and anxious families are they knew exactly how to read the room. Everyone was so very help for the first few weeks when I would ask a bazillion questions. I was scared about the medications, scared about everything. The whole fear of the unknown. And let me tell you, Marisol, Mallory and so many more were so patient and kind with me and my fears. It is like they know what they are doing or something lol!! But seriously. I don't know what I would have done without them talking me off the ledge sometimes because of my son being far and not being able to see him but once a week, that was tough for me. And everyone has their own battles, that one was mine. My son made some friends along the way and still is in contact with them once in a while and feel that is needed during this time of healing and recovery with teens. They need a good support system. The kids there were so supportive of him like they were family and felt great knowing he had that there and I was able to sleep just a little better at night knowing that. Once he finally broke out of his shell and began to really dive deep into what he needed to do to start this process, he did amazing. CFD was there for him and us every step of the way. He came out like a champ, and I am so proud of him and everyone at CFD for doing the hard work you do. Any reviews before May 2023 are from old, irresponsible management, and under Casey (Site Manager) and Kaitlyn (Lead Therapist/Clinical Manager) everything has run much better, and patients are treated with care and individual respect. From all the other residentials I have heard of from others, this is the place to be. This eating disorder residential is like no other that I've seen or heard of. I flew in from NC, so I can't say much for other Texas residentials, but I can say that two months here was one of the most beneficial experiences I have ever had. There are eating disorder and diet technicians, who are very well trained and prepare nutritious meals by the individualized diet orders of each patient, and genuinely care about the experience and healing of the patients they are working with. The staff was one of the best parts of my stay here. They keep a watchful eye on patients, yet don't make them feel as if they are in prison. CFD Plano is definitely a home setting. Here, myself and other patients are not only medically watched and stabilized, but also learn how to plan, cook, and understand meals ourselves. I came out of CFD with a much better knowledge and mindset about eating, with the careful patience of my entire care team. Primary care teams consist of a trained therapist, psychiatrist, dietitian, and pediatrician (only adolescents at this center). Patients are also cared for by on-site nurses, day and overnight staff, and occasional external doctor visits with guardian consent, if necessary. This treatment center was my first, and I gained a well-rounded understanding of all the processes and routines. The staff is very well informing. I felt safe here. Visiting hours are every evening, and after the patient moves up in their treatment, passes to take time with family may be granted. The treatment center cares for patients 9-18, and though those who come here for care are mostly teenagers, I have personally seen how well the team responds to caring for younger children. 10/10 recommend. In my time here, I had Stephanie as my therapist and Helen Mary as my dietitian. They were the most amazing clinicians I have had to this day. Both were very patient and understanding with me, having worked in this field for years, yet pushed me at the perfect pace to make sure I was recovering at the right pace for me. There are hard times in treatment, and I felt supported in my struggle in recovery. Stephanie worked with me on my other issues, such as communication, familial relationships, and self image, as well as my eating disorder. She made me feel understood and talked to me about what she was doing and why, along with my parents. Stephanie played one of the most crucial roles in my time here, and prepared me for leaving and being on my own from day one. Defiantely my favorite therapist out of the five that I have had in treatment. My dietitian, Helen Mary (Katool) played another crucial role in my recovery. She individualizes meal sizes and food exposures to each patient, and pushed me to broaden my tolerance of food in a way that I have seen no other dietitian master. Ms. Katool showed me a different way of viewing food, and intertwined therapeutic methods and exposures into how she teaches and treats clients with nutrition. I have also seen her work well with young children. In the first few days of treatment, patients will get ten minutes of phone time every night, and will move up in allotted times throughout treatment. Phone numbers will have to be approved by guardians to call. CFD does not tube patients, and will closely monitor their health. If nutritional deficiency are low to the concern of the patient's team, the patient will be admitted to the nearest hospital. CFDP treats multiple eating disorders. My review comes from my point of anorexia nervosa, but I was also alongside those and informed of those with bulimia, BED, and ARFID, who also got individualized treatment and groups pertaining to their needs. I use to go to denton clinic last year and even years ago and I was honestly struggling very hard to keep up with payments and Im not here to bash... I blame myself for not communicating better. At the time I was forced to leave my denton home and stay with family in the colony and had to drive every day Mon thru Fri to denton. I finally tried looking for some place closer and thank the Lord He led me here. I called and they asked about insurance which I gave all my info about. I seriously had doubts that it would be of any help. Years ago methadone wasnt covered easily by insurance... But they made my day when they told me yep they take my insurance which is through marketplace. AND I would not have to pay anything out of pocket!! I was singing and dancing. Been here ever since. Even when I messed up and missed open enrollment, they still worked with me without insurance... i was so worried but everyone reassured me that they would find a way to help me here and they did. Everyone is SO NICE also. Love it here.

I absolutely love this place from the front staff all the way to the back staff. Everybody is so amazing and so kind. The office manager helped me find a location where I could get my dose since I missed it on Saturday and I was so grateful for him to reach out because I finally got my dose I needed Because THEY CARE! I’m writing this review as it has been 6 months and 1 day since a small group of family and indirect supporters led me to Enterhealth after months of isolating with Tito’s was followed by years of binge drinking and drinking throughout the day, to get through the day. Everyone’s journey in sobriety is different and people take away different things from recovery. This is my 2nd time to go to treatment and it has been completely different than my 1st time. I feel like Enterhealth not only “got me sober”, but they helped me battle this by addressing my physical health, my strengths and weaknesses as well as my mental health. I also feel like I was given the freedom to be in charge of my own recovery plan. Physical and mental health were important to me and they allowed me to dive into that. I’m also not religious so I was much more receptive to their curriculum on the disease instead of just praying it into remission with AA. (Although they do offer AA based groups). Other things such as the community, the food, the privacy of your own cabin, the routine and the amenities are all major perks that help you focus on your treatment. I will say, this place is a major investment. I would be wary if your loved one is resistant to change. I feel like Enterhealth is a huge gift. I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to embrace a better life and is ready to work for it. 💜

When I struggled they accommodated me and helped me with the extra help I needed. They also find services for additional help or higher level of care if needed. Side note: I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were for inpatient and children's services this location in Plano doesn't even offer at this time or never offered. I'm assuming many of the people were looking for the main hospital in Carrollton to review and made a mistake.

I’ve been to over 20 different inpatient stays, and Carrollton springs is by far my favorite Inpatient program. Great staff, great food, great experience. 10/10. They’re more than happy to help in active crisis. Special shout out to Dr. B, who saw my symptoms, quickly and accurately assessed me and got my meds regulated. This place really made a positive impact on my life. I gained knowledge of myself I wouldn't have if I never enrolled. The tools and skills I gained and was held accountable for have made me a better person overall. I was given the opportunity to come here and change my ways of life all thanks to the program and the staff. If a rooster say all chickens are liars is the rooster telling the truth? There is an article by, David S. who is an alumnus of the Sontx Residential Program. Wrote and published an article called: "Acceptance Is (Not The Final) Answer" It's sad that their are individuals who place personality before principals. This article proves it. The individual takes a corner stone in recovery, "Acceptance" and makes a mockery of it by taking the negative points that an individual can take away from it and saying that's all we believe in recovery. Obviously, David has not fully subscribed to recovery yet. All that he accuses those in recovery of believing about acceptance is wrong and only shows his ignorance. I don't choose to subscribe to the thought that all in recovery are as ignorant as David S. However David said "Acceptance is not the answer to all my problems today"! If David who's in recovery say all in recovery are liars, Is he telling the Truth? Not interested in referring anyone to this program!

Their are countless of drug treatment programs, and sober living homes out there, but I honestly don't think I would of have gained as much as success as I have now if it wasn't for Solutions of North Texas and their staff. The structure of the program not only thought me what I needed to know about myself as an addict, but enforced greatly the severity of working my Steps as well as working with a sponsor. Now, I myself sponsor others and have placed myself in a position in life I never thought would be achievable. I truly owe a great and big Thank You to the entire staff, specially Cheri for putting up with me, even though I know she is probably crying because I'm gone. It's okay Cheri, I'm in a better place now, and that's thanks to Solutions.

As of now there’s only 1 nurse working & she’s doing a great job! The rest of the staff is great aswell and have always been very helpful if I’ve ever needed anything. For all of the criticism that the VA gets, this clinic surprisingly operates very efficiently. The staff always seems eager to help and ask questions. The nurses are capable and have a great attitude as they help veterans get the care that they need. Sadly the wait time to get new appointments often means weeks or even months of waiting.

I was admitted to the Psych Ward (hopefully this is the right place to put the review) a little over a year ago because I was withdrawing from a drug (I'll be coy about which one it was, but those in the know can probably guess and whittle it down to one or two classes of drug) I no longer wanted to take that can cause death if the withdrawal is not handled medically. The staff at the psych ward for medical city Frisco are probably why I'm alive with a healthy body (I've lost a lot of weight since as well, another good side effect of quiting the drug was that I no longer would gain weight because of it) and doing well today and have not had to take said drug again to manage my condition. I feel morally obligated to thank the mental health and psychiatry people at Medical City Frisco for how well they handled my emergency. Also, the facilities at this hospital (not just the Psych Ward, I took a little stroll through the whole place as I was leaving) are truly next level. This is BY FAR the nicest looking architecturally and probably most advanced technological hospital I've ever visited (for myself or as a visitor for family). If you need truly top tier care, you can't go wrong with the Medical City hospital chain in my opinion, and especially their new Frisco branch, which is even more impressive than the one in Plano. Individual care and whatnot is of course going to depend on things like which doctor you get...but the facilities are truly really cool here and that IS something to take into account if you have an emergency. I imagine every good doctor in the DFW area wants to work here, and so the quality of care may be correlated to the facility quality, which is top notch. Hopefully others receive the same quality of care I received. If you are having a psychotic episode or other severe mental health issue that requires hospitalization, then please consider a Medical City hospital and especially their Frisco branch if you have the ability to choose the location of your stay. Also, the food while I was staying was really good. Just a little thing I know, but it goes to show they don't skimp anywhere in their treatment.

The nurses, therapists, and technicians are great here. I spoke with a doctor one time during my loved one’s stay. They definitely push to medicate, so if you are not comfortable just voice your concerns and request a more thorough diagnosis. I was able to contact my loved one and they were able to call me anytime. I was able to see my loved one 3x a week but I had to sign up via signup genius in order to do so. Definitely read their policies thoroughly. We unfortunately came through intake around 3 am and I was very tired and missed a few rules. It makes visits and dropping off clothes easier if you read. While I recommend this hospital, one piece of advice is for aftercare. Definitely do your research on PHP and IOP programs because they are not all as good as this hospital.

Probably one of the best psychiatrist, The pleasure of meeting and dealing with Dr.Rust. “Marisa Rust” she had a true understanding of the psychological perspective And intuition asked to what could be happening and how she could help. Dr.Rust understood where I was coming from in a way I’ve never had experienced before with other psychiatrist in the past. She had very good insight as to what she was talking about and you can tell him that she really cared about what she was doing and it showed I’ve not seen this in any psychiatrist. I’ve worked with so far and it was pretty impressive, but not only this she is also very friendly and Relatable which goes hand with her work and how well she does in it. If you’re feeling nervous about what psychiatrist to pick or antsy about your typical psychiatrist office, maybe they could be standoffish or maybe intimidating I could highly recommend Marisa Rust, She was extremely easy to communicate with and easy going And understandable as to what you could be going through not coming from a Harsh criticism perspective, but from a intuitive knowledgeable approach to her work Creating a very friendly and safe environment for you the patient to have much success as possible for your own mental health in the long run. Highly recommended just off my first appointment with her I was impressed And blow blown away by the understanding and Comfort atmosphere She helps great with you the client. as someone who has been a revolving door patient, I want to say that this hospital had been the best and I really do recommend it. I was in the adolescent twice in the same month and was greeted kindly even while having a breakdown. The kids are pretty nice and techs are superrr funny(Connie is one I mostly remember.) the rooms are nice and the food(especially the pizza) were good. My first stay here was spent on my birthday and I got a mini cheesecake which was better than nothing. I had attending their PHP in Richardson and can say that it was also great. Texas health seems to really know what their doing.

i was admitted a few months back and my first time being in a behavioral facility.i was scared at first but a lot of the nurses were super nice and showed me around and the doctors and staff made me feel welcome,it was a really calming experience for me personally since i was surrounded by a lot of loud noises back at home it was quite the food was good and there’s a therapist named Darius he was so kind you can tell he really cares about everyone ,they really helped me get back on my feet ! To be completely honest, I thought I would absolutely loathe these online sessions. And while I did at first considering I was forced to go through with it, I'm glad I did; and I would do ANYTHING for my girls. Matt and Sydney taught me things about myself I didn't know in my [at that time] 32 years of life. Matt was great and reminded me of Seth Rogen. He was very funny and straightforward and I like that. Also, he was a great teacher and has a good way of getting you to understand things. Sydney was the best counselor I could have asked for, and I appreciate EVERYTHING she did for me. She was more than just a counselor to me and even went out of her way to help my girls and I. I am forever grateful for her, Matt, and this program. I've never been to a rehab before this one so I may be biased, but if you're looking for a place to grow and get help, this is it. Thank y'all!

I attended LMR back around 2010-2012. I look back today and am so grateful for the support I received as I struggled with Cocaine addiction. I had been arrested just 8 months after losing my father to pneumonia and was having a very difficult time just living day to day. Thank you for everything you do and continue to do. I am sorry it has taken me this long to write a review. I wanted to make sure that I had the time to really write in detail how well my son did with the program at Center for Discovery and how much he connected not only with the other kids there but with the staff. It has made a huge impact on him and us. Sometimes, I felt like we were spoiled. :) This has been a long journey and especially for my son since we didn't know till much later. When the decision was made that he needed to go to a residential, I was terrified and nervous. They worked super hard with our insurance to get him in and because CFD is 3.5 hours away from us, I was very reluctant, but we knew we had to do what we had to do for the health and healing journey for our child. It was a struggle trying to find a place that accepted adolescent males. I thank God every day that CFD accepted boys. We were so scared that were not going to be able to find anything for him in the state. Thankfully, we were able with the help of CFD speaking with the insurance back and forth, he was in. At this point he and the family just wanted to get started with this program. We were all so exhausted and I was emotionally drained. When we came for his admission, the whole staff greeted us with kind hearts and smiles. Just the knowing how scared and anxious families are they knew exactly how to read the room. Everyone was so very help for the first few weeks when I would ask a bazillion questions. I was scared about the medications, scared about everything. The whole fear of the unknown. And let me tell you, Marisol, Mallory and so many more were so patient and kind with me and my fears. It is like they know what they are doing or something lol!! But seriously. I don't know what I would have done without them talking me off the ledge sometimes because of my son being far and not being able to see him but once a week, that was tough for me. And everyone has their own battles, that one was mine. My son made some friends along the way and still is in contact with them once in a while and feel that is needed during this time of healing and recovery with teens. They need a good support system. The kids there were so supportive of him like they were family and felt great knowing he had that there and I was able to sleep just a little better at night knowing that. Once he finally broke out of his shell and began to really dive deep into what he needed to do to start this process, he did amazing. CFD was there for him and us every step of the way. He came out like a champ, and I am so proud of him and everyone at CFD for doing the hard work you do. It must be so rewarding and hard at the same time, with your heart strings being pulled every which way. YOU ALL ARE HEROS! I was here January through March, 2024. Any reviews before May 2023 are from old, irresponsible management, and under Casey (Site Manager) and Kaitlyn (Lead Therapist/Clinical Manager) everything has run much better, and patients are treated with care and individual respect. From all the other residentials I have heard of from others, this is the place to be. This eating disorder residential is like no other that I've seen or heard of. I flew in from NC, so I can't say much for other Texas residentials, but I can say that two months here was one of the most beneficial experiences I have ever had. There are eating disorder and diet technicians, who are very well trained and prepare nutritious meals by the individualized diet orders of each patient, and genuinely care about the experience and healing of the patients they are working with. The staff was one of the best parts of my stay here. They keep a watchful eye on patients, yet don't make them feel as if they are in prison. CFD Plano is definitely a home setting. Here, myself and other patients are not only medically watched and stabilized, but also learn how to plan, cook, and understand meals ourselves. I came out of CFD with a much better knowledge and mindset about eating, with the careful patience of my entire care team. Primary care teams consist of a trained therapist, psychiatrist, dietitian, and pediatrician (only adolescents at this center). Patients are also cared for by on-site nurses, day and overnight staff, and occasional external doctor visits with guardian consent, if necessary. This treatment center was my first, and I gained a well-rounded understanding of all the processes and routines. The staff is very well informing. I felt safe here. Visiting hours are every evening, and after the patient moves up in their treatment, passes to take time with family may be granted. The treatment center cares for patients 9-18, and though those who come here for care are mostly teenagers, I have personally seen how well the team responds to caring for younger children. 10/10 recommend. In my time here, I had Stephanie as my therapist and Helen Mary as my dietitian. They were the most amazing clinicians I have had to this day. Both were very patient and understanding with me, having worked in this field for years, yet pushed me at the perfect pace to make sure I was recovering at the right pace for me. There are hard times in treatment, and I felt supported in my struggle in recovery. Stephanie worked with me on my other issues, such as communication, familial relationships, and self image, as well as my eating disorder. She made me feel understood and talked to me about what she was doing and why, along with my parents. Stephanie played one of the most crucial roles in my time here, and prepared me for leaving and being on my own from day one. Defiantely my favorite therapist out of the five that I have had in treatment. My dietitian, Helen Mary (Katool) played another crucial role in my recovery. She individualizes meal sizes and food exposures to each patient, and pushed me to broaden my tolerance of food in a way that I have seen no other dietitian master. Ms. Katool showed me a different way of viewing food, and intertwined therapeutic methods and exposures into how she teaches and treats clients with nutrition. I have also seen her work well with young children. In the first few days of treatment, patients will get ten minutes of phone time every night, and will move up in allotted times throughout treatment. Phone numbers will have to be approved by guardians to call. CFD does not tube patients, and will closely monitor their health. If nutritional deficiency are low to the concern of the patient's team, the patient will be admitted to the nearest hospital. CFDP treats multiple eating disorders. My review comes from my point of anorexia nervosa, but I was also alongside those and informed of those with bulimia, BED, and ARFID, who also got individualized treatment and groups pertaining to their needs. Every staff member is amazing from RECEPTIONIST to DR, to RNA/CNA to THERAPIST ETC Up and down the ladder are always helpful, friendly and caring. In the 8 years that I've been going here, not once has anyone ever been rude or short; and they all take the time to listen.
