I've been coming here for a few years. Although they've been somewhat disorganized in the past (partially due to understaffing), the people there really care and they're all doing their absolute best to help the patients they have. ***10-STAR GOOGLE MAPS REVIEW***
Pain in my joints left me four weeks and little to no sleep. My sleep had deteriorated to, “20-hours awake followed by 90 minutes of sleep.”
This made normal life impossible.
SABHH was there for me at a “critical” life or no-life point.
This was not my first rodeo as I’ve been battling things for 19 years and have experience with many programs and facilities.
SABHH Magnolia Unit is many performance levels above the rest.
SABHH Staff made the difference from the cleaning professionals to the Extraordinaire Cafeteria gourmet cooks and bakery aficionados. Nurses and nurse technicians worked together to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all guests/patients and Staff themselves.
Even when a patient was experiencing difficulty in any given moment/situation, SABHH Staff managed to maintain a safe environment, allowing for the best possible recovery of each patient.
Mission accomplished by SABHH STAFF…!!!
I didn’t memorize everybody’s name so please accept this short, “Shout out List”.
Valerie (evening shift – Magnolia): Valerie was capable of keeping things running smoothly with clear instructions and explanations of SABHH Policies, while demonstrating compassion and empathy.
Laura (Technician -Magnolia) Warm smile paired to a warm heart and demeanor.
Maria (Nurse -Magnolia) Compassionate care and attention to detail. I could tell Maria cared about my care.
Angelina (Technician -Mustang/Magnolia): Great conversationalist, warm heart and beautiful inside and out…!
“Key” (Therapist Extraordinaire): “Key” always smiled when she saw me. The kinda smile that warms your soul. Key consistently presented with a warm glow and aura of the true beauty needed and the benchmark of proper “bedside manner”.
Dr. Campos (Psychiatrist): Extremely intelligent and a true problem solver. Dr. Campos and I quickly reach a workable system to address my medical needs.
Art (Technician -Magnolia): Outstanding Unit management. Amazing depth of information on many topics of relevancy.
Ronny (Cafeteria Professional): Keeping it real while you enjoyed your meal.
Sichelle S. (Transportation Specialist Extraordinare): Sichelle S. Provided a listening ear while transporting me to my first destination. Sichelle showed empathy and compassion and is the first of many, I pray, great conversations on my new journey.
Many, many others deserve my thanks…

I want to sincerely thank Jeanette, the house supervisor at my brother’s inpatient facility, for her heart, dedication, and commitment to providing him with the best care possible.
She has gone above and beyond not only for my brother, but for my family as well. She has taken an incredibly stressful situation and somehow made it feel lighter and more manageable through her compassion, patience, and support.
People with Jeanette’s level of dedication, passion, and genuine care are rare. No words can truly express how grateful I am for everything she has done for my brother and our family. Thank you, Jeanette, for making such a meaningful difference in our lives.

This was a mostly really good experience for me. I was scared and super frustrated with the registration process. I felt like a burden or just another number when I came in. That made me more afraid because I knew I'd need to be here a few days. When I got to the actual hospital part, the staff were so kind. Sylvia and Jennifer at night were always so helpful. Valerie and Art were super kind, and ran a tight ship. The director Kiki checked in on me multiple times and always had a smile. I didn't feel like a burden for the first time in a long time. Highly recommend.

San Antonio, TX | Medmark Treatment Centers San Antonio Military in San Antonio, Texas, is a substance use treatment center specifically for opiate addiction. They accept many | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My last review was over 8 years ago. A lot has changed since then. My wife and I are still attending daily. Biggest change is the staff. They are all excellent. Only one is the lobby person. Angela. Since we're not as well off as we once were she now treats us like we are trash. Everyone else is golden. When my wife and I walk in she's a different person. She hates us and talks about us to other patients even though we've been kind and caring to her. Oh well still get a good night's sleep.

My experience with MedMark Treatment Centers has meant more to me than I ever expected. Walking in for the first time, I felt overwhelmed, nervous, and unsure if I was even ready for the process. But from day one, the staff treated me with kindness, patience, and respect, which made it a little easier to keep showing up.
What truly sets this place apart is how they treat you as a person, not just a patient. They listen without judgment and take the time to understand where you’re coming from. That alone made me feel seen in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time.
There was one moment that really changed things for me. I came in on a particularly difficult day, feeling discouraged and honestly questioning everything. Instead of just going through the motions, a staff member took the time to talk with me and remind me why I started. It wasn’t anything overly dramatic, but in that moment, something clicked—I realized I didn’t have to have everything figured out, I just had to keep going. That simple shift in mindset was a breakthrough for me.
Recovery still has its ups and downs, but having a place like this—where there is structure, support, and people who genuinely care—makes a real difference. It gives you something to hold onto when things feel uncertain.
It’s not perfect, and there can be wait times or busy days, but the compassion behind what they do truly shows. I’m grateful for the role MedMark has played in my journey, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs support, understanding, and a place to start again.

Moving to San Antonio has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced. Starting over in a new environment, with a new job and so many new faces, hasn’t been easy. Four months in, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Being away from my family and hom has been tough—but the staff at MedMark have truly made this transition easier by treating me like family. I can’t thank all of you enough for the impact you’ve had on my life—not just in my treatment and recovery, but far beyond that. Anyone who's had difficulty with the staff at MedMark on Military was probably being difficult themselves. They are there to help with your addiction recovery not your anger management.

Waking up to deers running around on the grounds is just breathtaking, and the perfect way to start the day. There are also adorable goats (yes goats), plus horses who love to accept carrots that you can get from the kitchen. Tennis courts, basket ball hoops, swimming pools, Jacuzzis and lots of long walks close by. The staff are caring and always ready to help, the chef is wonderful, providing delicious fresh food every day, they even have their own veggie and herb garden. Soba Texas is a beautiful, serene place, providing the perfect environment for self reflection and the process of healing from life's challenges. Plus they allow you to bring your pet if you wish, which is refreshing and so nice. Group meetings and sessions are empowering and educational, Soba Texas provides a healing break away from the world and a chance to regroup, learn, grow, and then return to the world refreshed, invigorated and ready to fall in love with life again. Yup, clearly I recommend this lovely place.

First and foremost I want to say I would give SOBA a million stars if I could. Many leave false reviews and I witnessed this multiple times.
Addicts know how to manipulate and are the best of the best at doing so.
SOBA has rules in place for 100% success and 100% safety for all in treatment.
If you violated the rules you must be terminated to keep it a safe environment for all of us that want to heal.
If a client is discharged at the fault of their own actions the first thing I heard multiple times is I am going to leave a bad review.
Thank you SOBA for taking a false bad review and keeping this a safe place to recover.
Sadly to say we are a family of 8 (YES 8) that reside in Michigan and have recovered out of state only because of SOBA.
We all have years of sobriety due to the highest standards SOBA has set to teach you a beautiful new way instead of using mind altering substances.
I was petrified at age 45 to enter a treatment center and I had an extremely bad attitude when I arrived!
I was determined to find something wrong with SOBA so I could have a reason to leave.
SOBA is different than the other treatment centers we tried multiple times in Michigan. We all failed on numerous attempts.
SOBA is loving, kind, knowledgeable, safe and a peaceful place to recover.
SOBA far exceed my expectations and I stayed in treatment for 16 months.
Our children (3) stayed in treatment for 2 years. My sister and nephews also recovered at SOBA with a lengthy stay in sober living.
It is so important to reside in sober living after inpatient and do the work. Leaving treatment early will end in failure.
If it were not for SOBA I can honestly say several of us would not be alive today.

Yesterday on 15 August 2026 I had my blood drawn by a Lab Technician by the name of KAT. She was so professional, courteous, and nice. Now let me set the seen, the Lab at Audie Murphy is open on weekends (Sat&Sun) from 8am-12pm. All the Lab Technicians there move and serve with a purpose. Very very efficient. When I grabbed my ticket at around 10am I was number 83 and they were on number 53. I was seen in less than an hour. KAT informed me when they are scheduled to work the weekends they are all expecting a busy day. But they still have positive attitudes. KAT was very impressive to me, she just had the attitude of a dedicated former military member. She was actually prior Air Force with a prior job of Aircraft Maintenance. As you assume someone who was in charge of our Air Force aircraft had to be someone within attention to detail. KAT displayed these attributes and I expressed myself to her as I feel I can judge character as a retired Command Sergeant Major. KAT and her fellow comrades are awesome and should be commended. Thank you to KAT, your peers and AUDIE MURPHY LAB.
Today on 4 Feb 2026 I had an appointment with Orthopedic clinic in Rm Q107. I was seen by NIA WHITE for a follow up on my (L) knee. Mrs White has been my primary consultant since I began receiving injections to ease my pain. Today Mrs. White did a thorough follow up while examining my current MRI and recommended with my approval for a knee replacement. Mrs. White set me up for pre-therapy prior to my surgery in order to prepare for the pain after my surgery. Her concern and empathy was greatly noticed and appreciated. Mrs. White should be commended and recognized for her great expertise and customer service.
Additionally, on my way to the clinic I accidentally went to Orthopedic Rm 112. Just by chance there was a VA assistant that helps patients to and from places in the hospital. Her name was Lisa. She was an African American assistant and oh so nice. She took it upon herself to offer me wheel chair assistance in which I told her I was fine, and even so, she walked with me to Rm Q107. Please recognize and commend Lisa for her magnificent customer service and empathetic concern. Once again her name was Lisa.
I went to the LAB at Audie Murphy VA he on 31 Jan 2025. The person who drew my blood by the name of Marie provided me excellent customer service. My labs were not available on the computer so she took it upon herself to find them. She proceeded with several options to finally get in contact with my Primary Care Nurse in order to get the lab request posted. I had this issue a while back and the person didn’t take it upon themself to go above and beyond like Marie did. Marie should be commended for her customer service. Especially since she had only been there a month which she informed me when we spoke. Marie is a top notch employee.

My daughter attended Rise Inspire Academy for 2½ years and graduated in 2025. We were referred to the program by a close friend who works in the recovery community, and I'm truly grateful for that connection. Rise made a meaningful impact in my daughter’s life. She began her journey to recovery in 2023, and today, she’s the only clean and sober student in her graduating class. That speaks volumes about her commitment — and the support she received.
Throughout her time there, my daughter was offered counseling, coaching, and a safe place to heal and grow. The program isn’t magic, and it’s not easy. But for students who are ready to put in the work, it can work. The staff includes some very kind, devoted individuals who truly care about the kids they serve. For that, I’m thankful.
However, my experience as a parent was mixed. I found communication with the staff to be somewhat lacking. It often felt like they were focused entirely on my child — which is important — but I also felt left out of the loop and that my feedback was not always welcomed or acknowledged. That made things challenging at times.
One concern I want to raise is how my daughter was led to believe she had a chance to work at the school after graduation. She went through the process of creating a recovery plan, submitting a resume, and even had an interview with the director, Evita. But in the end, nothing came of it, with no clear explanation. I can’t help but feel this decision may have been influenced by my own willingness to speak up about certain safety concerns and the need for stronger leadership. That was disappointing, especially after the growth and hard work my daughter had shown.
Despite the challenges, I do strongly recommend Rise Inspire Academy to families with teens struggling with substance abuse. This school offers a life-changing opportunity for young people — but it requires effort, honesty, and a desire to change. For those who are ready, this program can be the turning point.

I'm sorry but anyone that is complaining about the waiting time and that they take long the reason why they take long is because if you had take outs you would know why they take long and people that still don't have take outs have to go every day but if you start getting your take outs you would not have to go through this waiting time every day. So they do there job as fast as they can because some people have even 30 take outs so that is why they take long . I love this clinic I recommend it to anyone because I used to go to the one in Laredo TX and believe me that they have it made here in new season clinic cuz in Laredo you don't have rights or anything they treat you like a drug addict that they don't want to hear you they don't care how small is the situation they kick you out so I don't recommend nobody to go to the one in Laredo Texas it's called consilio hispano . But I love this clinic keep doing what you're doing great service and help in all aspects such as counseling and how you run the clinic and especially because they treat us like it supposed to be they don't discriminate you for your problem of drug addiction they actually care and try to get you the help you need and they don't turn you down if you go ask for help because anyone that think that just for waiting a little bit long is bad believe me in. Laredo TX if you go ask for help they will tell you that you need to fill out a lot of papers and then if they have enough time they can help you see the doctor but until a week later or the next day when you know that if we ask for help it has to be right there and then cuz if not we will leave and not go back so anyone saying that this clinic takes long and puts bad reviews about this clinic called New Season treatment you should start getting your take outs so you don't have to be putting up with having to wait for the people that have take outs and that way you can be one of them instead and you just go once a week and also down load the app so when you get there you just check in by phone and don't have to wait for all the people that are in front of you because with the app you just check in and don't have to get in line so you just sit down and that's it because not a lot of people have the app I don't know why when it's faster so I recommend for you to download the clinic app that way you don't have to stand in line and wait for all the people that are in front of you Frist also wait for the people that check in with the app so that is another reason why they take long. . Anyways thank you and may God bless everyone that works in the clinic because I feel very comfortable and respected from anyone that works in the clinic and I love that they understand use thank you very much and may God bless you all with everything and anything you want cuz you guys deserve that and much more.

This treatment facility actually have people working there that care. The staff will go above and beyond to get u the help u need or the resources u need. Reagan is a counselor and she’s new but learning FAST. I’m glad I got her as my counselor bc if I need something she does her best to find the resources I need. The wait times can be long and frustrating but it’s not their fault they go as fast as they can to get through the line quickly. I catch 4 buses to come to this clinic. I leave my house at 6am and don’t get home sometimes till 11pm. Bc of the bus service it’s crazy but I like it here.

I owe my life to the VOA. I came to them, a scared and broken woman. I left armed with the knowledge and coping skills to help me achieve an alcohol-free life. I started out walking to work to do housekeeping at a hotel, and just this past year, was promoted to General Manager. I have yet to touch a drop of alcohol. I know that I could not have done it on my own. Thank you, VOA, from the bottom of my heart.

My first time at this clinic. I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised by the care they took to welcome me to their clinic and take care of my needs. Although some services are out of their control, basic necessities are met and in timely manner. HIghly recommen.
