The services are easy to navigate and very supportive. I’m incredibly grateful for my time with PRC Conroe. I did my recovery program through their online Zoom meetings, and even though I wasn’t there in person, I still felt fully connected, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. The ladies who led the classes were compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping people heal—and that came through, even over a screen.
They also offer in-person classes for those who prefer that setting, which just shows how flexible and accommodating they are to each person’s needs. No matter how you show up, they meet you where you are.
Recovery isn’t easy, but PRC Conroe made it feel possible. I’m beyond thankful for the guidance they gave me, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, effective support in their recovery journey.

They were compassionate and understanding while guiding us through the process. Communication between staff and family is top tier. I’m putting this here so other parents can be reassured. My daughter is getting out today and she had an overall good experience, considering this is a psychiatric facility and the reason we came. This was an overwhelming experience as it was our first time having our daughter(10) in an inpatient facility. The intake process was easy and the intake nurse was very kind and comforting. As far as the nurses in her unit we heard nothing but positives from our child. She especially liked Mrs D but liked all of the nurses. They also didn’t make me feel bad for calling 1000 times to check in. The therapist was sweet and understanding and as I understand she attended group and individual therapy. They called the day after she was admitted to inform me of medication and get consent. The front desk staff, especially Fran were very helpful and understanding. Also the discharge staff were very responsive and informative. I specifically spoke with Josh who was super understanding and went out of the way to answer my calls. The only issue we had was we had missed a call from the therapist and initially had a hard time getting a call back at first but eventually got a hold of someone, but I believe that is only because of them doing their job and being away from the phone which I can’t blame them for. All in all they made a stressful experience more tolerable and if I find myself in this situation again with my daughter I know she would be safe and cared for at Kingwood Pines.

I came to them broken, and in crisis. With no appointment I was speaking with someone within 15 minutes. That day turned my life around. Ricardo Bolton has been like a guardian angel to me. Dr. Bobbadilla has managed every issue I was having and gotten me care throughout the network in a very timely manner. In less than a year's time, my knees have been replaced so I can get back to work, I've had a complete physical and am scheduled for a PET scan next month for a shadow they found on my chest xray. They have saved my life. For years I've heard bad things about the VA. Let me tell you something, things have changed. If you need care, this team can make it happen. I am so very grateful.

Even the techs were so helpful n friendly i went in on 7-23-23 everything was good towards the end i got a couch how lucky was i to get couch AUTUMN ha she talked about my pants not being fancy enough for community saying i wasnt serious that I don’t want to b sober ( hint I was in rehab willingly) n basically ignored me wouldn’t help me get help with anything literally SHE DID NOTHING for me n the day I graduated im all proud n happy she walks up to me says “ im not gunna b ur couch, u don’t want this ur no hope bye “ I told the lady in charge she said “ she has to it’s to late , o well just go ask another couch “ other couches had already left or said they were full so while Santa Maria was great couch AUTUMN shouldn’t b a couch if that’s how she thinks while Santa Maria was setting me up for greatness the one person that’s supposed to b ur support on the outside tryed to set me up for failure n Santa Maria as a whole don’t need her mentality in a place like that ur supposed to couch help not tear us down

Also, I experienced more than just Freedom from alcohol , that slowly took control over me. I magically adapted to an enthusiastic attitude to replace the damages & Shame of the past ,
to moving forward & not looking back. By adopting the tools from processing in Group, & the curriculum Provided , I obtained wisdom through understanding in Each session & class.

I enrolled as a patient at New Dimensions with no prior experience with iop. I called all around Houston and I gave this center a chance because they were the first ones to pick up the phone with a sense of compassion in their voices. I am an adult in my late 20s with alcohol and substance abuse history and I have ptsd from past traumas in my life as well as severe manic depression. My life had gotten to a place of complete unmanageability. I was scared that my diseases would eventually cause my inevitable death and I did not know any of the tools I needed to be a healthy functioning adult. All of that slowly and subtly started to change and improve because of the professional guidance I received from ALL of my therapists and counselors there. I learned how to replace bad habits with healthy ones and I choose my well being over the things that I can't change on a daily basis, one day at a time. I will always feel a sense of gratitude to this facility.

taylor recovery is the best! I came in and despite acting sort of out of control for a while, i was treated kindly and patiently by the staff and was able to detox and recover incredibly peacefully!
The facility is clean and the food is delicious (thanks chef john and mark!) the beds are comfortable and the rooms have tvs. we there are a variety of great counselors who are patient and yet persistent in leading you to a better self.

I came into Skyward treatment alone, lost, and completely broken. Not only was the entry process easy, but the ENTIRE staff went above and beyond to help me get there. I was warmly greeted by the techs the night I came in, terrified and so very nervous, they made me feel right at home. I had the privilege of meeting the manager Stephanie the next day and she warmly greeted me with a huge hug and open arms. I knew I was in the right place and would be safe. This place not only saved my life, but it CHANGED me as a person. The one-on-one counseling, along with their therapeutic way of treatment (CBT) was EXACTLY what I needed to begin my sober journey. My time there was not very easy on my mind and body, but the entire team came together on multiple occasions to make sure all my needs were met and I was given the best care possible for the 60 days that I was there. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone struggling with the dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse. Dawn, the NP is amazing. Thank you Jacob, Stephanie, Kat, Eric, all of the nursing staff, counselors, and also every tech! You all are AMAZING. The work this place puts in, in order to help people get clean and healthy again is beyond admirable. If you're looking for change, and a new start at life, Skyward is the place to go. I’ve Known Of Montrose Counseling/Community Center since Summer of 1995. During That Time MCC was located on Richmond Avenue in a beautiful but smaller building than they’re in now. My first Therapist was Lee Willis a phenomenal therapist for anyone living with gender dysphoria. Since then I’ve had sporadic experiences at MCC from 1995 till 2008. However, when I move back to Houston in 2008 I started going To MCC consistently especially after 2009. I’ve had some wonderful case managers and therapist from Mandy Lloyd in 2009 till Daniel Perez now. I can honestly say there’re people who work at MCC who authentically care about the LGBTQ+ community of Houston very much, and those same people are willing to provide exceptional services for anyone regardless of their sexual orientation, gender, religion, or race to me that’s commendable.
I lost my Therapist/ Friend Mike Ator in November Of last year 11-04-24 was the day I was told he had passed away, and that news shook me to my core it was devastating heartbreaking news. I miss him greatly and that’s the kind of people that work at MCC phenomenal people who truly care and reaffirm to their clients they matter. You get out what you put in. This place was literally life changing for me. Private rooms, you're assigned a team based on individual patients needs of a psychiatrist, individual therapist, and social worker, the grounds are gorgeous, the groups are run by people who are very good in their fields (like they have doctorates and some are even univeristy professors), the cafeteria does not suck and there are plenty of options (even multiple options for vegetarians and vegans), you can apply for different levels of responsibility (like how much trust staff can give you, you can get to the point where you can leave the unit alone and go for a walk), they give you an assigned private phone and MP3 player, the staff actually appears to enjoy their jobs, you are given resources for all of your needs. BUT you have to be willing to put in the work. They cant fix your problems for you. They cant make you contact your family, they cant make you take your medication, they cant make you go to group; you have to do that for yourself. It may be expensive, but you get your money's worth IF you put in the effort. But you have to want it. No one can do that part for you, but they will give you every resource they can, and will advocate for you tooth and nail with insurance. Of course theres other reviews of "this place is horrid" because its literally a psychiatric facility, not everyone there is going to have a good time. There was another Google review that made me consider and eventually pick this place as the place for me to get help that said "this place is actually ok." Its genuinely actually ok. If youre ready to change your life for the better and dedicate yourself to doing so, they will with open arms be ready to help you. Please consider this option. Compared to other places I have been inpatient, this has been the best mental health experience I've ever had. Genuinely.

I wasn't there for long, but I can see the good this place does for people. I left due to inner conflictions of faith, but that wouldn't be the case with the vast majority of people who come here. I would recommend to 99% of people who have addiction issues, as this place is a hidden haven for those who need it the most. I appreciated a lot of the staff. The fact that all of them used to go here at one point gives another element that adds to the success of this place. Appreciate the willingness to help and to accept anyone no matter who they are. I went through the Bay Area Recovery Center, and it completely changed my life. After getting a DUI, I was required to go through this program to keep my job — but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.
I’ve now been clean and sober for almost 10 months. The staff truly care and helped me believe in myself again. A huge thank you to Mr. Billy and Blake and everyone there for guiding me through my recovery.
My DUI was recently dismissed, and I believe it’s because God saw the change in me. My wife and kids thank you too — you didn’t just help me, you helped restore my family. If you’re struggling, I highly recommend this program. It gave me my life back.

They got my son on the right medication after having a horrible experience at another facility!! My son is actually doing a lot better after coming home from here. They stayed in touch with us, called us daily and gave updates. Was very impressed with them. Yes they have rules the kids need to follow, and that’s good because everything has rules. Yes they spent time in the group room watching a movie but that gave him time to think about what he did to get to where he was. I would highly recommend them!!

Kim is by far the best counselor I could’ve asked for, she is kind, caring and is the best part of CARS in my opinion. I have been to 7 different clinics between Utah, cali, Texas; and CARS in Tomball is the best I have been to. If it weren’t for Kimberley there is no way I would be doing as good as I am. She has been there to talk me through hard times, reminded me how strong I am, if something comes up (out of town, or surgeries etc.) Kimberley, the nurses, and doctor do all they can to accommodate my needs. Other clinics made me feel like a burden, or like I was putting them out, or a pain. I have never had a counselor as amazing as Kimberly. I thought I was losing my dad, and the support Kimberly gave me, I have never had. She didn’t rush me out, I had to go back to my home state and she helped me make a relapse prevention plan, checked in on me, and has never made me feel like an addict. She has helped set me up to succeed, not fail. I have almost two years sober and if I didn’t have her support as well as Leah and Art and Chase I wouldn’t have made it this far. I’ve never had this kind of support in a program as I do now. Kimberly is the reason I stay at this clinic; “the best counselor I’ve had.” Leah, Art and Chase are all bonuses! If you’re looking for somewhere for yourself or family, CARS is the best. The counselors, nurses, and doc are all positives to this place
