I went here years ago but now I'm super happy with the service. When I first went years ago it wasn't great but now that I've returned the staff is excellent and very kind. The services are easy to navigate and very supportive. I normally give up on this type of service because of the frustration I feel but at the center it's made it an easy process with very little stress. All the staff is very friendly and supportive.

I like my psychiatrist Bonnie. She listens to me and I get to excitedly share my hobbies with her as well as tell her about my mental health. She got me on medication that has kept me stable. :)

Cypress Lakes was, by far, the best treatment facility I have been to. Unfortunately, I have been a frequent flyer to rehab facilities over the past couple of years. I'm kinda stubborn and think I know better. Lol.
There is something really special, almost sacred, about this facility. I can't explain it. It's peaceful and beautiful. But, most importantly, it's the staff. From the Executive Director to the Maintenance Staff, everyone cares. There's no judgment. No one's too busy to meet you where you are. The therapy and the tools they teach can really be applied to life outside the treatment center. I never write reviews. If I like/don't like a place, I use word of mouth. However, this facility is outstanding and deserves every once of recognition.

I attended Cypress Lakes Recovery in October of last year and I had an incredible experience!!! I am now 10 months clean and sober and I am truly grateful for my experience there. The staff, the therapists, the food, the view, the activities were all AMAZING!!! The staff were all committed, down-to-Earth and caring. By the end of my time there, I felt a certain connection to them all. They truly care about your well-being!!!
No, you won't be staying in the big house, but the dorms are comfortable and you have your own space in your room. They provide laundry baskets, lockers, towels, etc. We had a mix of different groups and classes that were Recovery focused and kept us pretty busy. In our free time we were able to fish, kayak, swim, watch movies, do puzzles together, play music in the music room, and go for hikes. It's a beautiful property!!! So peaceful! Also, once you reach a certain stage, you are able to go to outside meetings if you choose, like A.A. or Celebrate Recovery, and go on field trips (we went bowling).
The kitchen staff was amazing as well and always serving us wonderful meals throughout the week. There is always a salad bar, which is equipped with fruit and muffins, etc. for breakfast.
I encourage anyone who is considering rehab to go here!!! Thank you, Cypress Lakes ♡ I hope to see you in October for the reunion!!!

I went back to Cypress Lake twice and enjoyed my time There. The amenities are nice and the staff does care. My counselors Traci & Jennifer were both really kind and insightful. And i like the food. The dog Gracie was a sweetheart and had a lot of nice walking trails and other stuff. Would go back again

I want to take a moment to recognize Dakota for the incredible impact they’ve had at West Bridge Recovery Center! Since i’ve met him, Dakota has shown genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to every individual they work with. They create a supportive and respectful environment where people feel heard, understood, and encouraged to keep moving forward.
Something that really stands out is Dakota’s ability to connect with others on a personal level. He goes above and beyond to make sure each person feels valued, and their positive attitude brings a sense of comfort during what can be a very challenging time. Dakota is professional and consistently kind. I see him at my job sometimes and he has nothing but great things to say about west bridge!!

Westbridge recovery center changed my life 100%! If you're serious about your sobriety and want a place to go to be sober this is the place to choose! It's more of a home environment than a hospital setting so you're very comfortable from the start. They're very accommodating to each and every person and for their needs and their wants. When I first came to westbridge I will admit that I came for legal problems with probation but after coming here and learning some of the steps it takes to stay sober my life 100% changed! The counselors, the techs. , and all of the staff was so understanding and supportive on my journey to becoming sober. They taught me what it was like to feel again to love life again and taught me who I was as a person. I hate that it took me so long in life to get sober but I would highly recommend West bridge as a place to anyone who wants to become sober and they're very serious about it! Even after the treatment plan they offer classes for IOP or PHP or any kind of support that is needed to keep you sober on your journey. every single person at westbridge played a part in my recovery and I will forever owe my life and have extreme gratitude for each and every person that played a part in my recovery I am going on 4 months clean today and I wouldn't look back for anything. I will forever owe all of my sobriety to the people at West bridge and I will forever be thankful.

I was placed here by the court, and I'm glad I was because this program taught me a lot. It helped me grow, strengthen my faith in God, and showed me how therapy and music can help people express their emotions and see life in a new way. Thank you to everyone who works here.
A couple of suggestions I have are:
In the shower, water collects around the handle and doesn't drain well. I'm worried it could cause mold over time, so maybe adding a small drain hole could help.
For the night snack, I think two sandwiches instead of one would be nice. I asked a few others, and many agreed. Some also said hot chips would be a good addition.
I don't know everything that goes into running this place, but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Thank you again for everything you do.

I did my recovery program through their online Zoom meetings, and even though I wasn’t there in person, I still felt fully connected, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. The ladies who led the classes were compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping people heal—and that came through, even over a screen.
They also offer in-person classes for those who prefer that setting, which just shows how flexible and accommodating they are to each person’s needs. No matter how you show up, they meet you where you are.
Recovery isn’t easy, but PRC Conroe made it feel possible. I’m beyond thankful for the guidance they gave me, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, effective support in their recovery journey.

This is my daughter’s second time at Kingwood Pines, and I want to recognize two people who made an incredibly difficult situation much better for us yesterday.
Princess was instrumental in helping me get my daughter admitted. After we had spent five days waiting in an ER for psychiatric placement, Princess helped me discover that my daughter’s insurance information had not been included on the face sheet the ER sent to facilities. Because of that, her insurance could not be verified. Once I understood what was happening, I was able to advocate for the information to be corrected, and Princess was key in helping us finally get my daughter into Kingwood Pines last night. I am incredibly grateful for her help.
I also want to recognize Gabriel at check-in. By the time we arrived, I was beyond exhausted after five days of this process. I also had my service dog with me and needed an accommodation because of my disability. Gabriel was professional, patient, respectful, and worked with me to make sure I had an appropriate place to wait during the lengthy intake process.
Mental-health crises are incredibly difficult on the entire family, and the way staff treat parents and caregivers during those moments matters. Princess and Gabriel both made a difference for me when I desperately needed someone to help. Thank you both.

I received the help that I need I need they were able to properly diagnose me and give me treatment for no cost due to my financial situation. If you a homeless or struggling to make ends meet but need help. I recommend this place. I have only positive things to say about Dr. Molly Thomason. She evaluated by son for ADHD and did such a phenomenal job on his neuropsychological evaluation. I don't live in the Woodlands, but I drove out to see her because I wanted a high-quality evaluation. I also would like to add that I highly recommend Dr. Kat Cohn for parent training/coaching. She and I completed our PhDs together, and we trained together at Texas Children's Hospital. I refer to her regularly for parenting support related to disruptive behavior, ADHD, and Autism, because she is simply excellent at her job. 10/10 recommend!

I have been seeing Bill Jack for almost 7 years and he has by far been the most caring and helpful counselor I've ever met with. He has gone above and beyond to help me and my family during hard times and I couldn't recommend him enough. I was referred to KPR by a dear friend who is alumni and I can clearly see why. I am so glad I chose to get as far away from my home as possible in a safe space where I could heal and get all I could for my journey in sobriety. I chased my grief away at the bottom of a bottle and pills. I came to KPR to process my grief and stop running from it AND to choose me for once! To relax a little in between our busy daily itineraries in a beautiful location, choosing ME, bc I had not stopped going since my late husband drowned. I was blessed enough to have a solid support system at home who wanted to actively participate in my recovery this time so that helped tremendously but wasn’t always the case in my past. KPR gave me so much more than I dreamed I would get. After multiple attempts to acquire long term sobriety from substance abuse, mental health, and traumas, I was convinced that I was a hopeless, lost cause! Spiritually Exhausted of a physical existence! Any concerns I came with or acquired during my stay were each individually addressed with great care and in a timely manner! The staff was each unique and armed with pertinent knowledge and inspiration. The property and programming live up to their description! They will literally go above and beyond to make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Until the day I walked out the door I was completely impressed by their care… the only complaint is the FOOD! Not terrible. Not good. And the cook. I had a couple of incidents with her and I feel her lack of professionalism is incredibly concerning and disturbing to be working with a vulnerable population. From what I understand she has a history of this behavior so it is with respect I make you and others aware. I have no doubt it has been addressed.

I have been to rehabs numerous times before coming to Kemah Palms. I can’t express how wonderful and helpful all the staff have been. Hands down the best detox/inaptient experience I’ve ever had. I am leaving here today with an abundance of self esteem, stability, and joy. I feel confident and ready to face whatever may come my way. The tools and strategies they’ve showed me, I will carry with me and use. As I leave inpatient today… I’m choosing to continue my recovery and sobriety over to their sober living. I’m beyond excited to live again.
