The care I received was god tier and the food was excellent. I was recovered by 30 days and the aftercare is amazing. They really do care about their patients and treat them with the utmost hospitality. Overall I had the most incredible experience and practically did not want to leave! I highly recommend this treatment center above all else!

My experience with Brittany, an addiction specialist with La Hacienda, occurred by chance. I was given her name as a person that "knew the ins and outs of Texas rehab centers". I finally called her when a different rehab center said they were out of network, but then still recommend La Hacienda and contacting Brittany as a first choice.I was in the position of trying to help my friend recover from a severe addiction. I'd been trying to be effective in my attempts for 2 yrs. I had compromised my rules and boundaries to allow for communication with my friend. I was depressed & overwhelmed with the process. I felt an extreme obligation to make this work at any cost. I further felt failure because I am a physician myself. This is what I am supposed to be capable of doing. This is the state of mind I was in when Brittany answered my phone call.Brittany is a well-organized open book. She weaves her own journey with her extensive knowledge of how addiction works. This made her a welcomed voice of both reason and structure to a rapidly deteriorating situation.We called my friend together. I was worried my friend would simply decline to talk to her or become angry about a percieved ambush. This was his initial reaction. He attempted to end the conversation almost immediately. Brittany used empathy, humor, and an explanation of what the call was truly about - to ask my friend how he was doing allowing for a connection to be made between them. She successfully kept my friend on the phone for over an hour. She had him laughing. I have 15 years of experience being a physician, and I was beyond impressed at Brittany's ability to maintain approachibility while talking about issues that would usually shut my friend down. She bypassed egos, she bypassed the fear of judgement, and the fear of being confronted. I truly felt I was on the phone with the person that would give my friend the best chance at recovery. I now know that feeling occurred because I was on the phone with that person.Brittany also helped me. She helped me realize the limitations of my voice due to my position as a friend. She helped me communicate with my friend's family. She was on the call when my friend's family was introduced to the reality of a situation that had gone unacknowledged for too long. Any acknowledgement they had given the situation resulted in denial of its severity and attempts to correct a complex disease such as addiction with quick, ineffective solutions. I do not blame them. Reality can be devastating.Brittany is an example of how healthcare is supposed to operate - insightful vast knowledge and experience delievered with a compassionate honesty that allows each person involved to be heard.Brittany remained in active contact with me throughout the process. She lent a sympathetic ear to my concerns. I assumed she would not want to hear a story she has likely heard too many times. I was wrong. Every call was met with advice, pointing out incorrect thoughts of self-blame, and an optimism that I could no longer provide.I consider Brittany a friend now. It would be hard not to as she has spoken to my friend and myself with a depth of emotional intelligence and realness that went beyond her responsibilities.Unfortunately, this process can be an extensively exhausting and negative experience.Fortunately, people like Brittany actually exist. I am so thankful for her. I love knowing she is out there helping others.The physician side of me viewed Brittany as an emotionally intelligent, invested, passionate individual that any healthcare provider would consider a central asset to the success of the treatment plan.As this is a Google review, I will attempt to end with a more succinct statement:Brittany saves lives.Brittany gives hope and has the skills to achieve success. I thought my friend was gone. I will forever be thankful and consider myself lucky to have connected with Brittany.Without a doubt, I highly recommend contacting her. Fullbrook saved my life!! I m so grateful for this trauma work and 12 step oriented program. I learned who I am and can be in sobriety and it s truly beautiful. I m so beyond blessed with the experience of getting to go here to get the help I needed. I m also grateful for the caring and loving staff who stop at nothing to teach you all about AA and the importance of a 12 step program in recovery. I wouldn t have the relationship with God or such a strong program in my recovery today without Fullbrook and all they taught me.

This is an amazing and very spiritual place to began recovery. The councilors there are great. This place saved my life. Highly recommend this place for you or anyone you care about that needs help with addiction.

I am a born pessimist, so I spent a great deal of time looking into this place. First, I found nothing negative whatsoever, Secondly, I spent 60 days here and cried leaving. This place and ALL of it's staff saved my life. I can remember spending countless times in the nurses station, at the wellness advocates desk, and even in the Blanco hall, talking to the different staff about my days, my problems, my achievements, etc. And EVERY SINGLE PERSON TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN AND HELP OR CHEER ME ON!! There's not a staff member in this place that doesn't care about each person. The therapy sessions are incredible and I can't thank them enough for showing me I wasn't hopeless and giving me all the tools I need to have a beautiful, healthy and sober life. I am 45 years old, and I never thought this was possible.

After finishing treatment at Windmill Wellness Ranch I was confident in my ability to continue treatment for my Substance Abuse and Mental Health issues from home. The staff are awesome and very appreciated for all that they do this place is dog friendly and Leo loved it here!!

Windmill Wellness Ranch has truly changed my life in ways I never expected. I ve been to multiple treatment facilities over the last decade and felt that I was mentally, physically and spiritually hopeless. I felt I was a lost cause. I have had experience with 12 step programs before and assumed this experience would be like the others. I was wrong. Windmill Wellness Ranch and the staff they employ offer so much more than just a place to get sober and try twelve steps. From the admissions personnel to the wellness advocates, the therapists and the recovery coaches, I ve never met a team of people so willing to bend over backwards to help me reach my personal goals. Through WWR I was able to process a great deal of trauma successfully, while at the same time gain some phenomenal insight on how to grow in a life centered around permanent sobriety. The employees genuinely care about people and most are in recovery themselves. My time at Windmill Wellness Ranch has truly made a permanent positive impact in my life and in the lives of the people I love.

I just have to boast about Danny with A Better Boat Transportation. He s the angel that came all the way to my house +4 hours away to get me to Ripple Ranch. Danny is nothing short of phenomenal. He made my ride to Ripple Ranch Recovery so extremely comfortable and pleasant. He definitely eased my anxiety. Danny s communication skills are very spot on and he made me feel very comfortable. Danny is a very safe and alert driver. He was very easy to relate to and I truly appreciate him. He s a bright light in this world and a true gem. I d recommend A Better Boat Transportation to anybody! I m currently about two and a half hours from Ripple Ranch and I absolutely can not wait to get to my fresh start . I ll be sure to come back and update this review once I m done at Ripple Ranch!

A place that was peaceful and all the staff and techs really cared about us showed me nothing but love and support very spiritual as well if u allow it and not shut it out

There's one place on earth that I'm sincerely and honestly grateful for and that's Ripple Ranch. Coming from a man who abused drugs for over 40 yrs and I'm only 56 suddenly got tired of all the things that were slowly tearing me apart and killing me physically from my appearance to my health and seeing the scary man I was becoming made me run to God and ask for forgiveness and to truly save me cause I do want to live and wanted me family and real friend's back but most of all serve my purpose here on earth doing his will and that's when God prepared a place for me beginning at Ripple Ranch and thru that opportunity I have begun to gain access to all the important factors in life I was mistreating and taking for granted. After graduating with God leading me throughout all my days, I can genuinely say that this place cares for each and every individual that arrives for help and change and the awesome techs that work there wholeheartedly somehow pour a little extra concern into those who second guess or have hidden reservations that arise throughout there stay, and with the community (all the clients present) makes a bigger difference showing all the daily love they have for one another is just the reason that kept me involved and willing to be part of the solution and escape the real problem and for that I appreciate Ripple Ranch for giving me the chance and help me become the sober man I am today and I give all glory to God.

This program helped me to start the healing process after a 20 year alcohol addiction. Because of the amazing staff I have been able to start to turn my life around. I am forever grateful to SARC.

SARC saved my life. My life had become unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. I was still working my full time successful career, but it was only a matter of time before I could have lost everything I ve spent my life building. Tired of waking up with a black box of wine on my nightstand I threw lord knows what into my suitcase and checked into Cagnon for 38 days. For a girl accustomed to being in complete control I was petrified. I was a mess. The staff was so welcoming and walked me through the process. Was I ready to take 12 weeks off of work? It was life or death and I chose life. The detox process was tough. Reba and Alan made me as comfortable as I could be. I had sweats and nightmares. Roy, a lead counselor calmed me down. My job for 5 days was sleep, hydrate and rest. Gen the program Director Is fabulous. She kept assuring me trust in the process. Allow myself time to heal, grieve and let someone take care of me for once. The days are very structured with wellness, nutrition, groups, education, counseling. Nutrition and routine and self discipline are key. We have one job while in treatment. Show up!! It s impossible not to learn, grow and learn valuable tools and coping skills to set you up for a lifetime of sobriety. All counselors know your name and your case. They are always available to lend an ear and advice. The center is staffed with people in long term recovery. Richard, Steven, Blake, Jess, Mandy Jo all have real life experience , Every night there is an AA meeting and fellow patients can meet in groups to do book study, talk and truly become a recovery family. This is a private facility that works with many insurance companies and helps people who need to make arrangements for private pay. The setting is serene and a wonderful place to heal. Gen, Roy and Paula are true experts in their field. Each with their own individual techniques and special touches to group sessions. I am for ever indebted to the techs, counselors and Karen and Raul Ruelas for their relentless passion in fighting for those struggling with substance abuse disorder to live a long happy life free of drugs and alcohol. World class facility. Amazing caring people who pour their heart and sole into what they do. Highly recommend if your looking for a program that treats the total individual and follows up on you for life. Love you all for all you did for me. XoXo D.Run don t walk!! Jackie should be stripped of her license. She used her position to look up my information and called me at 6:50am in California. This woman has ZERO business running a recovery facility. She heckled me and was relentless on the phone. I filed a grievance with State and against her. So sad she s in charge. Place went downhill after Karen and Raul sold. Tragic. Go to New Day or SOBA. She s a disgrace to the recovery community!! Do not go there.

I got something to say about this place and the people who work it, they save lives and change lives! I m one that has experienced that recovery is possible. Like others before me, I walked into this treatment center lost, broken, and unable to manage my life. I WANTED TO CHANGE MY LIFE. I NEEDED CHANGE SO I ASKED FOR HELP! After 3 visits in 2 years, SARC gave me the tools and taught me how to use them to get my life on track. I am very grateful to the staff that run the center. They have the power and skills to work miracles if you want it. I walked out a man reborn! Hell, I didn t wanna leave. Great food. Yummy. If your living a life in addiction, I highly recommend this place. To all my councilors , techs and nurses, I love you all!! Thank you

If you or your loved one needs tough love, education, and support this place is for you. I know this journey is so incredibly hard and scary but there is help out here when you are ready. I really appreciate the guidance and understanding they taught me to help others. I agree rehab is expensive without insurance but this place changes and saves lives when you are ready.

A place where lives are changed, turned around and saved. Very special, and very effective treatment protocols now for over 50 years.

For free health care, I don t know why I complain. Probably because I'm a salty lil Karen who can barely get out of bed and when I do; I'm mad I've been to several VAs and Shavano typically completes everything I ask for help with, even if it takes forever. And I really like Dr K.Overall with VA healthcare, or pretty much anything nowdays; being direct and asking for what you need WITH UNLIMITED PATIENCE gets the best results.***ORIGINAL POST***I've been seeing my Shavano Park team since October, and I like the location and staff. Dr K is great. Today there was some hub-bub with the fire department and I was forgotten about in the waiting room and ended up having to be there a few extra hours The pros to this was the waiting room was comfortable, the staff was funny and I got to get halfway through my new library book. The only suggestion I would make would be maybe some feng shui (zen water fountain and tranquil pictures perhaps?) and coffee station/healthy snacks for the waiting room. Where there s a smile, luck arrives.

I left this location to go to one that was a little closer to where I live. Big mistake. I never had a problem there. The staff are kind and my Doctor was the best in the world. Dr.Lin. She even came and seen me when I was in the hospital. Which is something that they just don't do. I miss that place.

Before enrolling into the program, I was living in mental horror. I was grieving the loss of my father but the problem was I didn t know how to properly do so. Continuum helped me feel safe, understood, and supported. Now I have new CBT & DBT skills to get me through tough life events in ways I didn't know how to before.I am forever grateful and so thankful for my time at Continuum.

I ll never stop giving this place it s do credit. I ve been to many different clinics. Many of them were in nicer areas than this one. Some of them had counselors with more education, who made more money, with patients who are in a higher income bracket, and, maybe even a nicer accommodations. But I have never been treated with more respect. I have never been supported in my sobriety, the same way, I have never experienced counselors who go out of their way as much. I have never experienced a Director who tries as hard as the Director does here. Even the Doctor Who the last I heard, was here two days a week for two hours each day, would always greet me by miss and my last name. They go into their own pocket to buy things to make the patients here more comfortable knowing that they ll never see any praise from him more than likely and that a lot of times people will still take out their frustrations on them. Methadone isn t a perfect answer for everybody. It may not be the right answer for you. But if you re tired of the life, and you re willing to try, and you want to make it work, this place really could be your saving grace don t judge a book by its cover. Every clinic has their issues. The patients here may seem a little more rough around the edges, but I promise you there s a lot of compassion to be shared here and there s always someone to talk to you if you re waiting in line.

I'm so grateful to the staff of medmark treatment center, at the military Dr. location. They are supportive, and encouraging to your recovery, and extremely compassionate and non judgemental. Dr Carreras treat's each patient according to their specific needs and issues, working closely with your counceler. He understands that everyone is different, and treats you as an individual. And our nurse, Jaime Duran is absolutely amazing! Many times she's had to take care of us ALL, because of either weather, or health issues during this covid pandemic. She has never called in and left her patients in a bad bind. She's always rolled up her sleeves, and dosed everyone, by herself, with a beautiful and caring smile on her face! God bless Them all at medmark, for going the extra mile for us, even in the tough times, Thank You All So Very Much .

Waking up to deers running around on the grounds is just breathtaking, and the perfect way to start the day. There are also adorable goats (yes goats), plus horses who love to accept carrots that you can get from the kitchen. Tennis courts, basket ball hoops, swimming pools, Jacuzzis and lots of long walks close by. The staff are caring and always ready to help, the chef is wonderful, providing delicious fresh food every day, they even have their own veggie and herb garden. Soba Texas is a beautiful, serene place, providing the perfect environment for self reflection and the process of healing from life's challenges. Plus they allow you to bring your pet if you wish, which is refreshing and so nice. Group meetings and sessions are empowering and educational, Soba Texas provides a healing break away from the world and a chance to regroup, learn, grow, and then return to the world refreshed, invigorated and ready to fall in love with life again. Yup, clearly I recommend this lovely place.

First and foremost I want to say I would give SOBA a million stars if I could. Many leave false reviews and I witnessed this multiple times.Addicts know how to manipulate and are the best of the best at doing so.SOBA has rules in place for 100% success and 100% safety for all in treatment.If you violated the rules you must be terminated to keep it a safe environment for all of us that want to heal.If a client is discharged at the fault of their own actions the first thing I heard multiple times is I am going to leave a bad review.Thank you SOBA for taking a false bad review and keeping this a safe place to recover.Sadly to say we are a family of 8 (YES 8) that reside in Michigan and have recovered out of state only because of SOBA.We all have years of sobriety due to the highest standards SOBA has set to teach you a beautiful new way instead of using mind altering substances.I was petrified at age 45 to enter a treatment center and I had an extremely bad attitude when I arrived!I was determined to find something wrong with SOBA so I could have a reason to leave.SOBA is different than the other treatment centers we tried multiple times in Michigan. We all failed on numerous attempts.SOBA is loving, kind, knowledgeable, safe and a peaceful place to recover.SOBA far exceed my expectations and I stayed in treatment for 16 months.Our children (3) stayed in treatment for 2 years. My sister and nephews also recovered at SOBA with a lengthy stay in sober living.It is so important to reside in sober living after inpatient and do the work. Leaving treatment early will end in failure.If it were not for SOBA I can honestly say several of us would not be alive today.

I love this place. The staff, techs, and my 1 on 1s with therapist has been amazing. You get what you put into this program. The knowledge I have left with and the resources I now have at my disposal is going to change my life. I now have to apply it. THANK YOU , THANK YOU. Yall are saving lives here.

I went through hell and back when I got diverticulitis- I needed my colon removed I m a 44 yr old female and it was in the middle of when no surgeries could be performed because they could not sterilize equipment properly. The Chief of Surgey - Dr Markell was with me though drains (multiple) - 3 inpatient stays and a year of waiting to schedule this surgery NOW- I don t like that I live in military city and I had to suffer for a year when we re surrounded by hospitals.. but had it not been for the VA staff and answering my many messages about all the pain or issues- and being there every second of the way including all 2W nurses who are used to having older male patients but did so fabulous with me! That s long but know this- it may be called the VA but those people At Audie Murphy are top NOTCH- and I m also seen in rheumatology regularly and the eye doctor. All amazing for the last 15 years!

I went in today for blood tests. And, as usual, they treated my service dog, and I like we were old friends. I gave blood and my dog got the treat... I appreciate what you do for us, and thank you so much!

Fastest clinic I've been to and the nurse was so wonderful. Only coming here for labs from now on.
