Blue Heron was absolutely the best place for me with my alcohol addiction.I have been sober since September 26th, so 109 days. The staff is caring, helpful and offer so much love and concern for their clients. Christine and her husband, Dr. Maher, are the owners, and they have made this facility so welcoming. They are personally involved with their clients. The property is quiet, sereen and beautiful. The counselors spend a lot of time in the classrooms offering much help and needed advice. Each person is assigned a counselor, in which they meet one-on-one once a week.Everyone is so welcoming and they make you feel at home. I got very close to Lisa, Jim, Heather, Greg, Madelyn, and, of course, Beau, the parrot.I cannot say enough about this rehab facility. I learned a lot and the entire staff truly helped me with my addiction. They will help everyone with any substance addiction. Definitely, a Five Star facility for me.

Blue Heron is on a beautiful and serene piece of property, it s a great option for anyone who is struggling with mental health or substance use. The staff genuinely care about each and every client. I ve personally seen the CEO, Christina, sit down with clients to talk them about what s going on. Heather does a great job of helping clients walk through steps of getting admitted and makes you feel a part of immediately. All around the staff there is the best!

I just want to thank all of the Villa Serena staff. They truly do care about our sobriety and go above and beyond to ensure of that. I finished my program today, got my certificate, came home and already miss everyone. I will continue to pray for our sobriety and i will take it one day at a time. If you're looking for a place to get clean and you're a vet, you can't ask for a better place to do so. Stellar medical attention, a staff who really cares for your welfare, and excellent living conditions. You're connected to resources in the community who will help with jobs, housing etc. It's a peaceful, safe place. Just follow the rules and you won't have any problems from the staff.

This place has the usual issues, remember when you're coming here, this is the government nothing actually works correctly or the way it should half the time. Try not to focus on that let it go worry about your purpose here. I'd say a small amount of staff you might have conflict with but 99% go out of there way to help you. Covid coming back is making it very challenging to stay focused on what you need to and not on the stuff you can't control. Remember have an open mind take what is good for you and leave the rest but remember they've been doing this some of them a long time make sure you listen with an open mind and especially the people who have been addicts they have good advice.

I want to thank my counselor Caitlyn ,and the nurses,doctor,and director,especially my nurse who helped me as soon as she saw me ,she knew it wasn t my day and asked what s wrong I explained what s wrong and of course it was a robbery that happened while on vacation,and i was in and out of the clinic thanks again

I came into this place broken and ready to give up entirely and never thought I d see such love and compassion with no judgment whatsoever coming from the doctor who does subscription i was her last patient and went over my time and she never made me feel like a burden to her infact went out if her way to listen and validate my feelings and she was like a drink of water after a hot day last comment was her asking me to give her a chance to help me and get stable seeing my desperation and standing by my side . I said if the only reason Is to come back and see her again ( way to carry the torch of Love and Grace) that is who showed me the true love of Christ today it may have saved my life today and thank you!!

From the moment I walk in, I am greeted with a welcoming warm smile. Tracy is absolutely great in how she handles that front area. The nurses are so kind and friendly. The counselors I have & had are so motivating and inspiring. The Dr. Has been Kind and listened to every concern and answered whatever questions I had with patience. Definitely 5 stars from my experience at CMS.

This is one of the best clinics ive been to Mrs,Esperanza has been an amazing counselor i always look forward to talking to her even if i dont have an appt shes always been fair and respectful an with my best interest at heart! Thank u

The best decision I made, it changed my life

I went to alumni last week to get my 1 year sobriety coin and it was my first visit in about 6 months, and what a total disappointment this has become !Only 2 people spoke the entire time, not even asking if anyone else would like to share, which I had planned on doing, and I'm not joking when I say that both of their speeches was reminiscing about how much fun they had when they were on drugs or alcohol.The meeting ran over by almost 30 minutes because both of them took so long, and to make it even worse, they didn't even have any 1 year sobriety coins !!Bring Priscilla back !It was a wonderful recovery place when I attended, now it's a JOKE !Waste of my time, never going back!I feel sorry for the inpatient people that were there because that alumni meeting did absolutely nothing to help them !

It all started at SARC! 2 yrs ago i reached out to the San Antonio Recovery Center to help my relative with an addiction problem. The website talked about detox & rehab programs I didn t know the difference but I quickly learned we needed both! I also learned it takes a village to help a love one manage their addition: medical team, the member, and their support system (family & friends). My brother completed both detox and a 90 day rehab. I would like to say he was cured but it takes commitment and perseverance. Today my relative is living his best life over 1 year drug free, and it all started at SARC!If you or someone you know is battling with addiction problems, please pick up the phone and commit to the SARC.

Rivercity rehab and all of the staff are amazing, nonjudgmental and extremely caring. Making the decision to enter the program saved my life. If you are hopeless and tired of the drug life but Just can't seem to get better without help. This is the place to go to. I know it's scary but I promise it is worth it!

I have an adult son with special needs, and getting blood work done for him is always a challenging experience. I choose Pediq-lab (20 Madison Oak Dr, San Antonio, TX 78258) primarily because of the outstanding nurses, Margo and Cory. They are kind, patient, and always go out of their way to accommodate my son's unique needs. I am truly grateful for the extra effort they put into making the blood draw process as smooth as possible.However, scheduling appointments with Pediq-lab has been somewhat challenging. Despite multiple attempts from various doctor's offices to send the required paperwork, the scheduling team frequently claims they haven t received the fax, even when I provide confirmation numbers. These faxes are often sent multiple times but still don t appear in the system, sometimes even after 2 or 3 weeks. This forces me to visit the doctor's office in person to collect the paperwork and personally deliver it to the lab, which is especially difficult given my son's special needs. When I raised this concern with the scheduling team, I was told they couldn t confirm when faxes would be processed. On another occasion, despite explaining that this has been a recurring issue, the representative was unable to resolve the situation, and the call ended without any resolution. It would be extremely helpful if the scheduling team could ensure that faxes are processed in a timely manner, as it would greatly simplify the appointment scheduling process for caretakers who already have a lot to manage.During my most recent visit, I had to drive to the doctor s office again to retrieve the fax. However, Margo, the incredible nurse, took it upon herself to personally fax it for me. She didn t have to do this, but she did, and I m truly grateful for her effort. Afterward, the scheduling team went ahead and scheduled the appointment after I mentioned that Margo had faxed it directly from NCB. I brought the hard copy with me to be on the safe side.Margo and Cory are exceptional professionals who consistently go above and beyond to provide excellent care. I am deeply thankful for everything they do. They are real gems in the medical field, and I can t express enough how much I appreciate them. The 5 stars is for Margo and Cory. Best VA outpatient clinic experience I ve had anywhere in the country.Just moved here from Arizona and think my new PCP Dr. Mathai and Nurse Randall (team 3) treated me with respect.They listened to me and did not rush the process. I m pleasantly surprised and want to give them a shout out!

Came for help with severe flight anxiety. Had not flown for years. Took my first flight after the therapy sessions just a couple weeks ago and what a night and day difference! I m so pleased with the results!

Dr. Miles Witt is a skilled therapist with many years of experience in this field . I highly recomend him to anyone who look for a hypnotherapy session .

In 2017/18 I developed Gastroparesis after contracting a virus. It was life-altering because I ended up weighing 80 pounds & losing my job as I threw up 24/7. Eventually I decided hypnotherapy might help me cope with the trauma aspect of the illness. I found Dr. DeWitt to be a lovely human being. He is exceptionally smart & committed. You feel really comfortable with him (and I'm a survivor so feeling comfortable with a man I do not know is a big deal) he's got a very kind heart & a wonderful bedside manner. Not surprising for a hypnotherapist maybe but he's the real deal in terms of his commitment to his profession. Dr. DeWitt is a very kind man, he's highly intelligent & versed in his field & he helped me a lot with the anxiety element of the illness. I couldn't afford to keep going to see him but I did have several sessions & they were reasonably priced. He is punctual, a good listener, professional & invested in what he does. I did not feel he was just going through the motions, I felt heard, accepted and like he really did want to help me (which he did). I highly recommend Dr. DeWitt if you wish to be hypnotized for anything from anxiety to quitting smoking, he will help you. He's such an asset to this city. Thank you for all you did to help me.
