The staff at Ripple were an incredible group of people! They were all incredibly loving, caring, and supportive. If you’re considering rehab or have questions about it, I highly recommend Ripple. They changed my life. It wasn’t an overnight transformation, but they helped me sober up and discover the root cause of my addiction. After 15 years of hard-core drug use, I’ve quit several times, but always relapsed after a few weeks. I had the most amazing experience of my life! WWR saved my life in many ways. I tackled multiple addictions and took advantage of every service they offer (which there are many!). The counselors and recovery advocates are incredible. While I now have the tools to go back to the real world, I will miss this place in my soul. I would recommend WWR to anyone needing to face addiction or any other mental challenge.

Nova is far from perfect, and some of the information can be misleading. But if you want to dive deep into the 12 Steps while enjoying good food and a beautiful scenic view, this is the place for you. The staff is great — the RAs and techs are friendly and genuinely care. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Jeff changed my life and helped save my marriage, so the place gets five stars from me for that reason alone. Thank you to Jeff, Korn, Cassandra, Jen, Leon Phelps, Aaron, and the rest of the staff!

If you’re looking for somewhere to go just to satisfy your family and chill out for a while, this probably isn’t the place for you. If you’re serious about making changes I highly recommend Nova. For free health care, I don’t know why I complain. Probably because I'm a salty lil Karen who can barely get out of bed and when I do; I'm mad 😂 I've been to several VAs and Shavano typically completes everything I ask for help with, even if it takes forever. And I really like Dr K. Overall with VA healthcare, or pretty much anything nowdays; being direct and asking for what you need WITH UNLIMITED PATIENCE gets the best results. ***ORIGINAL POST*** I've been seeing my Shavano Park team since October, and I like the location and staff. Dr K is great. Today there was some hub-bub with the fire department and I was forgotten about in the waiting room and ended up having to be there a few extra hours😂 The pros to this was the waiting room was comfortable, the staff was funny and I got to get halfway through my new library book. The only suggestion I would make would be maybe some feng shui (zen water fountain and tranquil pictures perhaps?) and coffee station/healthy snacks for the waiting room. “Where there’s a smile, luck arrives.”

I first went to the in patient 30 day facility in Spicewood TX and that place was phenomenal!! They give you everything you need to be successful once out in the real world. I am now in Steve’s IOP class and actually look forward to every meeting. There is so much to learn and he has the knowledge to teach it for sure. This was an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming and understanding. The counselor (Steve) is one of the most knowledgeable and sincere people I've ever had the privilege to meet and learn from. He welcomes all who are willing to put in the work to improve their lives and help others do the same. This is a safe and judgment-free environment that will not only help you and your loved ones understand the daily struggles of addiction, but will also teach you to understand and appreciate those around you in your day-to-day life. I recommend this class to anyone who is looking for help.

My daughter attended Rise Inspire Academy for 2½ years and graduated in 2025. We were referred to the program by a close friend who works in the recovery community, and I'm truly grateful for that connection. Rise made a meaningful impact in my daughter’s life. She began her journey to recovery in 2023, and today, she’s the only clean and sober student in her graduating class. That speaks volumes about her commitment — and the support she received. Throughout her time there, my daughter was offered counseling, coaching, and a safe place to heal and grow. The program isn’t magic, and it’s not easy. But for students who are ready to put in the work, it can work. The staff includes some very kind, devoted individuals who truly care about the kids they serve. For that, I’m thankful. However, my experience as a parent was mixed. I found communication with the staff to be somewhat lacking. It often felt like they were focused entirely on my child — which is important — but I also felt left out of the loop and that my feedback was not always welcomed or acknowledged. That made things challenging at times. One concern I want to raise is how my daughter was led to believe she had a chance to work at the school after graduation. She went through the process of creating a recovery plan, submitting a resume, and even had an interview with the director, Evita. But in the end, nothing came of it, with no clear explanation. I can’t help but feel this decision may have been influenced by my own willingness to speak up about certain safety concerns and the need for stronger leadership. That was disappointing, especially after the growth and hard work my daughter had shown. Despite the challenges, I do strongly recommend Rise Inspire Academy to families with teens struggling with substance abuse. This school offers a life-changing opportunity for young people — but it requires effort, honesty, and a desire to change. For those who are ready, this program can be the turning point.

My first time in this facility. Very well organized in the Lab blood draw area. The number system is very effective. The pace was fast. I was number 30th in line. The staff took 25 minutes to get me in the chair. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive to the patient. Thanks for all you are doing for the veterans.

If you're looking for a place to get clean and you're a vet, you can't ask for a better place to do so. Stellar medical attention, a staff who really cares for your welfare, and excellent living conditions. You're connected to resources in the community who will help with jobs, housing etc. It's a peaceful, safe place. Just follow the rules and you won't have any problems from the staff.

This place has the usual issues, remember when you're coming here, this is the government nothing actually works correctly or the way it should half the time. Try not to focus on that let it go worry about your purpose here. I'd say a small amount of staff you might have conflict with but 99% go out of there way to help you. Covid coming back is making it very challenging to stay focused on what you need to and not on the stuff you can't control. Remember have an open mind take what is good for you and leave the rest but remember they've been doing this some of them a long time make sure you listen with an open mind and especially the people who have been addicts they have good advice.

I went to alumni last week to get my 1 year sobriety coin and it was my first visit in about 6 months, and what a total disappointment this has become ! Only 2 people spoke the entire time, not even asking if anyone else would like to share, which I had planned on doing, and I'm not joking when I say that both of their speeches was reminiscing about how much fun they had when they were on drugs or alcohol. The meeting ran over by almost 30 minutes because both of them took so long, and to make it even worse, they didn't even have any 1 year sobriety coins !! Bring Priscilla back ! It was a wonderful recovery place when I attended, now it's a JOKE ! Waste of my time, never going back! I feel sorry for the inpatient people that were there because that alumni meeting did absolutely nothing to help them !

This place had its days, sure, but I know they tried their best. Like when I got EPS, the nurses immediately started getting help and calling the doctor, they knew what was wrong and got me help for it. Ive been here (Clarity) multiple times, and the staff are amazing, especially Jewels, Elijah, and the rec therapists. I haven't been here in awhile, but I would feel safe going here again if needed, if it came down to that. The doctor i had, Reeves, was absolutely amazing and I loved how much he cares for his patients, including the ones marked as "difficult". Overall, this place was great. Definitely better than San Antonio Behavioral.

I used to go here a lot as a kid! They were so sweet. I came from a very bad background both behaviorally on my end and from my homelife and when my parents refused to come visit me or bring me much needed clothes, the doctors and nurses took good care of me.

Passed by this location off 1604 Now the fence is my favorite because it's very high so the crazies don't get out Of course this is an adult daycare because you couldn't take care of yourself as old as you are. Many patients go in there and then come out rating this place low and saying negative things. Well if you think about it, your lucky period for even having anyone trying to help you at all. No this is not a luxury place where they will pamper you... absolutely not. You want more out of life. Please, go hug your parents and if you have none, remember there is plenty of other ways to make it through. Remind yourself and be grateful you have legs that got you there...eyes to see ....fingers that work as you type your review. People need to be strong. And if you don't care about yourself then know that no one else will. Find your purpose and appreciate the fact that these places even exist for you. And hug your children more....that's their cure..it's just hard for parents to show love to their child in a healthy way.

My niece was recently discharged and our family is forever grateful for the help we received here. Although no one wants to be in a mental health crisis, this is something that does happen to real people. Without help so many people would be left in despair. In 2017/18 I developed Gastroparesis after contracting a virus. It was life-altering because I ended up weighing 80 pounds & losing my job as I threw up 24/7. Eventually I decided hypnotherapy might help me cope with the trauma aspect of the illness. I found Dr. DeWitt to be a lovely human being. He is exceptionally smart & committed. You feel really comfortable with him (and I'm a survivor so feeling comfortable with a man I do not know is a big deal) he's got a very kind heart & a wonderful bedside manner. Not surprising for a hypnotherapist maybe but he's the real deal in terms of his commitment to his profession. Dr. DeWitt is a very kind man, he's highly intelligent & versed in his field & he helped me a lot with the anxiety element of the illness. I couldn't afford to keep going to see him but I did have several sessions & they were reasonably priced. He is punctual, a good listener, professional & invested in what he does. I did not feel he was just going through the motions, I felt heard, accepted and like he really did want to help me (which he did). I highly recommend Dr. DeWitt if you wish to be hypnotized for anything from anxiety to quitting smoking, he will help you. He's such an asset to this city. Thank you for all you did to help me.
