I don t have the words to do justice in expressing my experience .at best one of the greatest gifts from God . Who knew I needed this journey before I did.The team is pure love kind, caring, giving, knowledgeable, humble, generous, empathetic, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile to help and walk the walk with those who are willing to surrender. It is evident that the process and program have been intimately and organically designed to help each person rediscover their truth, to heal, and to develop the tools to reach their God given potentials.I am enternally grateful and highlyrecommended to everyone .Rating .100%

Fullbrook saved my life!! I m so grateful for this trauma work and 12 step oriented program. I learned who I am and can be in sobriety and it s truly beautiful. I m so beyond blessed with the experience of getting to go here to get the help I needed. I m also grateful for the caring and loving staff who stop at nothing to teach you all about AA and the importance of a 12 step program in recovery. I wouldn t have the relationship with God or such a strong program in my recovery today without Fullbrook and all they taught me.

Serenity House is a wonderful place to start your journey of recovery. Staff and Counselors are awesome and made me feel like I could trust them. Comfortable rooms with only 16 beds available in each dorm. Not many frills, but that is not what I was looking for. I wanted a solid start to understanding my disease and how to combat it. I have had my same healthcare team and used the same patient advocate since and because I advocate for my self using the tools the VA has given is the only reason I think my Health care is decent enough. Community care in the South Texas Hill country is slow but I prefer my PCP/PCM (Pink Team) over Audi Murphy (felt like cattle going to slaughter) any day. I just moved back to my home of record in SA and I will choose to drive out to Kerrville VA. The Lab, X-ray and Cantina are excellent compared with others as far as customer service and knowledge goes in my experience.

I have been receiving care here for four years and have been satisfied with my care. The nurses and doctors are attentive, caring and competent. If you have questions, bring a list so you don't forget anything important. Appointments have minimal waiting time, and prescriptions are sent to my home.

Love the staff at Kerrville VA, all the way from house cleaning, volunteers, maintenance staff to clerks and medical staff. "Hi, hello, how are you" are heard often in the hallways. I'm seen on the Pink Team and I could not get better care and treatment from clerks to medical providers. The Optometry clinic is small but never an issue getting an appointment. The clerk acknowledges patients quickly. Optometrists are very through. The eye glass department has a very knowledgeable staff, good selection of frames and staff is well trained to help pick the right frame for the right face.

There's not a staff member in this place that doesn't care about each person. Windmill Wellness Ranch has truly changed my life in ways I never expected. I ve been to multiple treatment facilities over the last decade and felt that I was mentally, physically and spiritually hopeless. I felt I was a lost cause. I have had experience with 12 step programs before and assumed this experience would be like the others. I was wrong. Windmill Wellness Ranch and the staff they employ offer so much more than just a place to get sober and try twelve steps. From the admissions personnel to the wellness advocates, the therapists and the recovery coaches, I ve never met a team of people so willing to bend over backwards to help me reach my personal goals. Through WWR I was able to process a great deal of trauma successfully, while at the same time gain some phenomenal insight on how to grow in a life centered around permanent sobriety. The employees genuinely care about people and most are in recovery themselves. My time at Windmill Wellness Ranch has truly made a permanent positive impact in my life and in the lives of the people I love.

My experience with Brittany, an addiction specialist with La Hacienda, occurred by chance. I was given her name as a person that "knew the ins and outs of Texas rehab centers". I finally called her when a different rehab center said they were out of network, but then still recommend La Hacienda and contacting Brittany as a first choice.I was in the position of trying to help my friend recover from a severe addiction. I'd been trying to be effective in my attempts for 2 yrs. I had compromised my rules and boundaries to allow for communication with my friend. I was depressed & overwhelmed with the process. I felt an extreme obligation to make this work at any cost. I further felt failure because I am a physician myself. This is what I am supposed to be capable of doing. This is the state of mind I was in when Brittany answered my phone call.Brittany is a well-organized open book. She weaves her own journey with her extensive knowledge of how addiction works. This made her a welcomed voice of both reason and structure to a rapidly deteriorating situation. We called my friend together. I was worried my friend would simply decline to talk to her or become angry about a percieved ambush. This was his initial reaction. He attempted to end the conversation almost immediately. Brittany used empathy, humor, and an explanation of what the call was truly about - to ask my friend how he was doing allowing for a connection to be made between them. She successfully kept my friend on the phone for over an hour. She had him laughing. I have 15 years of experience being a physician, and I was beyond impressed at Brittany's ability to maintain approachibility while talking about issues that would usually shut my friend down. She bypassed egos, she bypassed the fear of judgement, and the fear of being confronted. I truly felt I was on the phone with the person that would give my friend the best chance at recovery. I now know that feeling occurred because I was on the phone with that person.Brittany also helped me. She helped me realize the limitations of my voice due to my position as a friend. She helped me communicate with my friend's family. She was on the call when my friend's family was introduced to the reality of a situation that had gone unacknowledged for too long. Any acknowledgement they had given the situation resulted in denial of its severity and attempts to correct a complex disease such as addiction with quick, ineffective solutions. I do not blame them. Reality can be devastating.Brittany is an example of how healthcare is supposed to operate - insightful vast knowledge and experience delievered with a compassionate honesty that allows each person involved to be heard.Brittany remained in active contact with me throughout the process. She lent a sympathetic ear to my concerns. I assumed she would not want to hear a story she has likely heard too many times. I was wrong. Every call was met with advice, pointing out incorrect thoughts of self-blame, and an optimism that I could no longer provide.I consider Brittany a friend now. It would be hard not to as she has spoken to my friend and myself with a depth of emotional intelligence and realness that went beyond her responsibilities.Unfortunately, this process can be an extensively exhausting and negative experience.Fortunately, people like Brittany actually exist. I am so thankful for her. I love knowing she is out there helping others. The physician side of me viewed Brittany as an emotionally intelligent, invested, passionate individual that any healthcare provider would consider a central asset to the success of the treatment plan.As this is a Google review, I will attempt to end with a more succinct statement:Brittany saves lives.Brittany gives hope and has the skills to achieve success. I thought my friend was gone. I will forever be thankful and consider myself lucky to have connected with Brittany.Without a doubt, I highly recommend contacting her. It does not matter what stage you or your loved one is in - her addition to the process is invaluable.

There's one place on earth that I'm sincerely and honestly grateful for and that's Ripple Ranch. Coming from a man who abused drugs for over 40 yrs and I'm only 56 suddenly got tired of all the things that were slowly tearing me apart and killing me physically from my appearance to my health and seeing the scary man I was becoming made me run to God and ask for forgiveness and to truly save me cause I do want to live and wanted me family and real friend's back but most of all serve my purpose here on earth doing his will and that's when God prepared a place for me beginning at Ripple Ranch and thru that opportunity I have begun to gain access to all the important factors in life I was mistreating and taking for granted. After graduating with God leading me throughout all my days, I can genuinely say that this place cares for each and every individual that arrives for help and change and the awesome techs that work there wholeheartedly somehow pour a little extra concern into those who second guess or have hidden reservations that arise throughout there stay, and with the community (all the clients present) makes a bigger difference showing all the daily love they have for one another is just the reason that kept me involved and willing to be part of the solution and escape the real problem and for that I appreciate Ripple Ranch for giving me the chance and help me become the sober man I am today and I give all glory to God.

I waited 6 months post-rehab to write my review. I am 6 months sober and I wanted to give a shout out to The Right Step for being part of my journey. The staff are professional, personable, and knowledgeable. My favorite aspect was related to choice; TRS follows a 12-step model primarily but other modalities are allowed to be embraced. I attribute this largely to my success in my sobriety journey. Many rehabs are militant and belittle substance abusers and make it the actual institutions journey to solve and minimize the participant. We were spoken to like competent adults while receiving treatment. From an administrative standpoint I have to point out Georgiana for her extreme professionalism; I attribute her largely to preserving my job while I went to treatment. I was able to focus on treatment and she had an incredible amount of paperwork to complete. I also would likely not be sober today without my counselor Camille. Camille went above in beyond and helped me untangle all the things holding me from being able to move on from this stage of my life while embracing a recovery approach to life. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you, TRS.

I started my recovery journey with Driftwood Recovery on 9/28/2017 and have had continuous recovery since. The facility, food, staff, education, and treatment team are top notch, A+, 5 Star. What really sets Driftwood apart is their community integration program post impatient treatment. There are camping trips to state parks (Big Bend) annual Christmas party (over 150 staff and alumni attend each year), bowling, sporting events, concerts etc. I just returned from Peru on a trip that was hosted by Driftwood. This RTC gave me such a wonderful experience and made me see myself as a different person (in a good way)I came here in the summer of 2023 because I had just attempted suicide and also had other mental health issues prior to that. When I first got to Discovery I was praying that insurance wouldn't cover it because I did not want to be there and waste my summer again, but when I got there everyone was so welcoming and the RTC that I went to in 2022 was not like that (I DON'T RECOMMEND MERIDELL ACHIEVEMENT CENTER) but this place had a different vibe. Discovery actually felt like a place were I could actually be myself and I could actually trust my peers and staff, and I could and did. I loved it so much to the point when my therapist told me my discharge date I cried because I didn't want to leave, and when it was my discharge day I cried because I didn't want to go back to my mom. But the fact that I was only there for 27 days and my previous one I was there for 45 is crazy. I recommend this place!Everyone there is so kind and accepting.

My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

I'm going on 80 days sober because this place helped me. I loved the Trauma inpatient program. PHP was okay, I felt like it was lacking counseling and also I felt like it was non stop getting in and out of busses. You'll get your phone on lunch and like 90min on Saturday which is nice. But on Sunday when you should be calling friends and family you don't get your phone. The house on 1st street stayed nasty. I brought it up to the techs several times and nothing changed. I would give this place 5 stars but the aftercare completely sucked. I had no idea how sober houses worked or how to get into one. I had to stress out my final day because I had nowhere to go. Also I had no idea how to get a scholarship or even fill my meds... im in their IOP program currently and I'm enjoying it. Aftercare definitely needs to be worked on. I've also talked to many people after they got through with PHP and they had the same opinion. Thanksz that's my Ted Talk.

Recovery Services For Young Men The facil | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward. The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it.What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don t just treat the addiction they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families. The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey. The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. SARC saved my life. My life had become unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. I was still working my full time successful career, but it was only a matter of time before I could have lost everything I ve spent my life building. Tired of waking up with a black box of wine on my nightstand I threw lord knows what into my suitcase and checked into Cagnon for 38 days. For a girl accustomed to being in complete control I was petrified. I was a mess. The staff was so welcoming and walked me through the process. Was I ready to take 12 weeks off of work? It was life or death and I chose life. The detox process was tough. Reba and Alan made me as comfortable as I could be. I had sweats and nightmares. Roy, a lead counselor calmed me down. My job for 5 days was sleep, hydrate and rest. Gen the program Director Is fabulous. She kept assuring me trust in the process. Allow myself time to heal, grieve and let someone take care of me for once. The days are very structured with wellness, nutrition, groups, education, counseling. Nutrition and routine and self discipline are key. We have one job while in treatment. Show up!! It s impossible not to learn, grow and learn valuable tools and coping skills to set you up for a lifetime of sobriety. All counselors know your name and your case. They are always available to lend an ear and advice. The center is staffed with people in long term recovery. Richard, Steven, Blake, Jess, Mandy Jo all have real life experience , Every night there is an AA meeting and fellow patients can meet in groups to do book study, talk and truly become a recovery family. This is a private facility that works with many insurance companies and helps people who need to make arrangements for private pay. The setting is serene and a wonderful place to heal. Gen, Roy and Paula are true experts in their field. Each with their own individual techniques and special touches to group sessions. I am for ever indebted to the techs, counselors and Karen and Raul Ruelas for their relentless passion in fighting for those struggling with substance abuse disorder to live a long happy life free of drugs and alcohol. World class facility. Amazing caring people who pour their heart and sole into what they do. Highly recommend if your looking for a program that treats the total individual and follows up on you for life. Love you all for all you did for me. XoXo D.Run don t walk!! Jackie should be stripped of her license. She used her position to look up my information and called me at 6:50am in California. This woman has ZERO business running a recovery facility. She heckled me and was relentless on the phone. I filed a grievance with State and against her. So sad she s in charge. Place went downhill after Karen and Raul sold. Tragic. Go to New Day or SOBA. She s a disgrace to the recovery community!! Do not go there.

I got something to say about this place and the people who work it, they save lives and change lives! I m one that has experienced that recovery is possible. Like others before me, I walked into this treatment center lost, broken, and unable to manage my life. I WANTED TO CHANGE MY LIFE. I NEEDED CHANGE SO I ASKED FOR HELP! After 3 visits in 2 years, SARC gave me the tools and taught me how to use them to get my life on track. I am very grateful to the staff that run the center. They have the power and skills to work miracles if you want it. I walked out a man reborn! Hell, I didn t wanna leave. Great food. Yummy. If your living a life in addiction, I highly recommend this place. To all my councilors , techs and nurses, I love you all!! Thank you

This place is so amazing. I was just a scared, strong out girl from east Texas when I arrived arvRecivery Unplugged on Albert Road. They did my intake at 3am, made me comfortable, and put me to bed. I went to sleep and woke up to the most amazing staff waiting to greet me and start the process of detoxing my mind and body and getting me well. Throughout my stay. I was treated with the utmost respect. There was not once that I felt like less than family to these wonderful people. The nurses were at my bedside checking my vitals, the techs were assessing my comfort. My dog was accepted and loved. After detox, the work began. But it never felt hard or overwhelming. The program is easy to follow. There was always someone who could answer questions or concerns. Even in the middle of the night. I just graduated the full 4 month program for Recovery Unplugged. I am a far cry from the girl I came in as. I am a sober woman, in Austin, with an apartment a job and a bright future. Thank you recovery Unplugged. I can not express my gratitude enough. You guys are incredible

I have waited for over a year to write this review to ensure my time at Sage was indeed "life-changing". I can now confidently say, my decision to seek therapy there was one of the best decisions I have ever made. For over 30 years I struggled with depression and anxiety and turned to alcohol to cope. But thanks to the therapists and counselors at the center, I now have the resources to manage my emotions in a healthy way. I feel like I've regained control of my life, and I'm excited to move forward with a new sense of confidence and purpose.I also attend their alumni group, which offers individuals free, weekly social events that provide ongoing support, education, and networking opportunities. It's an excellent resource for anyone in recovery who wants to continue their journey towards wellness and a better life.Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Recovery Center to anyone struggling with addiction or mental health issues. The environment is wonderful, the people are fantastic, and the support you receive is truly "life-changing". If you're looking for a place to help you get back on track, this is it.
