highly recommend this treatment center to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health challenges. I admitted my mom for depression and addiction, and this place not only gave her the tools she needed to rebuild her life, but also helped her work through deep-rooted trauma. She had an incredible experience and came out a renewed, joyful, and peaceful version of herself—something I haven’t seen in a very long time.
The staff is genuinely caring and compassionate, and even the owners took the time to personally support us throughout the process. It’s clear that everyone here truly cares about the work they do. Fullbrook made a lasting impact on my mom and our entire family. I am deeply grateful to every person who works there and could never thank all of you enough.

I am a therapist specializing in trauma and addiction and I have sent several clients to the Fullbrook center and they ALWAYS do an amazing job. Their team is compassionate and dedicated and their clinical approach is cutting edge, and not just trauma informed (the buzz phrase all programs say), but rather they are trauma integrated! I have been at VA Kerrville since 2018, although many issues with the entire STVA system I enjoy being out here. I have had my same healthcare team and used the same patient advocate since and because I advocate for my self using the tools the VA has given is the only reason I think my Health care is decent enough. Community care in the South Texas Hill country is slow but I prefer my PCP/PCM (Pink Team) over Audi Murphy (felt like cattle going to slaughter) any day. I just moved back to my home of record in SA and I will choose to drive out to Kerrville VA. The Lab, X-ray and Cantina are excellent compared with others as far as customer service and knowledge goes in my experience.

I have been receiving care here for four years and have been satisfied with my care. The nurses and doctors are attentive, caring and competent. If you have questions, bring a list so you don't forget anything important. Appointments have minimal waiting time, and prescriptions are sent to my home.

Love the staff at Kerrville VA, all the way from house cleaning, volunteers, maintenance staff to clerks and medical staff. "Hi, hello, how are you" are heard often in the hallways. I'm seen on the Pink Team and I could not get better care and treatment from clerks to medical providers. The Optometry clinic is small but never an issue getting an appointment. The clerk acknowledges patients quickly. Optometrists are very through. The eye glass department has a very knowledgeable staff, good selection of frames and staff is well trained to help pick the right frame for the right face.

I had the most amazing experience of my life! WWR saved my life in many ways. I tackled multiple addictions and took advantage of every service they offer (which there are many!). The counselors and recovery advocates are incredible. While I now have the tools to go back to the real world, I will miss this place in my soul. I would recommend WWR to anyone needing to face addiction or any other mental challenge.

This serene atmosphere grows and shines in the people living there and the ones there providing us support through their smiles and patient caring for each other. I started my recovery journey with Driftwood Recovery on 9/28/2017 and have had continuous recovery since. The facility, food, staff, education, and treatment team are top notch, A+, 5 Star. What really sets Driftwood apart is their community integration program post impatient treatment. The alumni group is strong and gets together weekly in addition to several events throughout the year. There are camping trips to state parks (Big Bend) annual Christmas party (over 150 staff and alumni attend each year), bowling, sporting events, concerts etc. I just returned from Peru on a trip that was hosted by Driftwood. We had a total of 18 on this trip, a trip that still has me smiling! If you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one I highly recommend Driftwood. Driftwood changed my life, sounds dramatic but it is very true!

Totally disorganized and not a safe environment. First week roommates snuck out and robbed a person for their car. Second week my roommate was caught and arrested for pos of drugs. 2nd floor has a prostitution problem as the John's circle the block in the mornings while your waiting for your bus. They don't help you get to and from work and only enough bus passes to get to work and not back. Plus its extremely difficult to get approved for work every week and most employers wont hire from there. Good luck to future residents your gonna need it.

I left back in April after being employed for 5 years. It was a personal choice to leave and in no way had anything to do with the company itself. I will say that BVCASA is contracted through TDCJ. So they follow TDCJ rules. The program is what you make of it. If you behave badly, then you get in trouble and have consequences. The clients are there to correct bad behaviors they learn in prison and from the lives they have lived. To the families, please remember that loved ones may alter the truth to fit their narrative. Again, they are there to help correct the behaviors they learned in prison. The job itself has bless me with many things and many opportunities. I will forever be grateful. ❤️

this place is absolutely toxic. They make it so hard for the program to even be completed. from unnecessary punishments' on people who had nothing to do with the situation, to flat out laughing in their faces about it after they are put on restriction. its a horrible place to send a loved one. They will not get the help they need at all. the employees are miserable there and get a kick out of pretty much torturing the people going there to get there life back on track. I wouldn't recommend it at all. it really needs to either be shut down or all staff needs to be replaced. They are HORRIBLE at their job!!! if i could give it no stars i would. WORST PLACE EVER!!

Burning Tree Lodge changed the trajectory of our son's life. Our family's as well. The program and community at Burning Tree have had a incredible impact on our son’s journey to achieving sobriety and maintaining sobriety. Property and facility are above average with respect to the size of the grounds and amenities (swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, pool table, ping pong table, foosball, and plastic throwing axes). Yoga Therapy, Equine Therapy, Art Therapy, and Music Therapy are also offered. 12-Step Recovery, SMART Recovery, and Refuge/Dharma Therapy are also offered Counselors are great and very supportive in your recovery. Holistically, the programming/classes offered are informative, and well rounded. An outside event is offered every Saturday, and they are democratically selected by the clients. While there we went to see 3 movies and we also went bowling. Lastly, it's a huge plus to have 24hr access to your cell phone and laptop to conduct any business that you need to attend to.

This place is ALMOST like a resort. The property and facilities are beautiful. The food was always amazing , and the head chef is great. He always greets everybody with a smile and takes pride in what he serves. All the BHT were awesome too. This was my first time in rehAb and the fact they never take away. your phone and I could order off Amazon made it soo much easier. The only thing I would add is somehow pairing you up with someone who is a little ahead of you coming off the same substance. So you can ask them what to expect. I literally walked around asking everybody" What's your DOC?" I only found one person. Seemed 80% of residents were there for alcohol. I was there for Fetty& Meth. Took subs too early got PSw which sucked but the nurses did what they could to help and I survived. I did complete the 30 day residential and recommend.

The Arbor quite literally saved my life.

I meant to share this sooner, but life after treatment got busy fast. Looking back now, I’m beyond grateful for my time at The Arbor because it gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to step back into life with confidence.
Reaching out for help wasn’t easy. I felt ashamed for losing the sobriety I had worked hard for, and I didn’t want to admit I needed treatment again. But reaching out to The Arbor was truly the best decision I made for myself. Taylor Anne Ramsey was the first person I connected with, and she met me with nothing but compassion. She never judged me—she just wanted to help. From there, she connected me with Tiffany Tidwell, who immediately made me feel safe and reassured that I was in good hands. That was the moment I knew The Arbor’s treatment would live up to the warmth and energy both Taylor Anne and Tiffany showed me.
Within days of arriving, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—it was immediate. Rachel had an incredible way of being both kind and firm, holding us accountable while still showing care. Tamara and Bella were amazing in our one-on-ones, offering thoughtful feedback that pushed me to look within and begin real healing. Mike, my RA, never sugarcoated things, and I honestly appreciated that tough love more than I can explain.
Some people stood out not just for what they did, but for the size of their hearts. Jimmie, Miss J, and Miranda were unforgettable. They carried so much love and energy into the program that you couldn’t help but feel lifted up by them.
And I can’t leave out the meals—Dom and her kitchen team made food that wasn’t just good, it was made with love. It sounds small, but those meals were such a comfort and part of what made The Arbor feel like home.
The programming itself was excellent—structured, engaging, and exactly what I needed at the time. But more than the curriculum, it was the people who made the difference. The staff didn’t just work there; they cared, they showed up, and they created an environment where healing was truly possible.
My experience at The Arbor was GREAT. No complaints, and I will recommend it for as long as I can. I walked away with tools, support, and a renewed sense of hope—and that’s something I’ll always carry with me.

I was referred to The Arbor by a close friend who got sober here 5 years ago, and I’m so glad I trusted them. I was turned off to AA before coming here because of the whole God thing. I had gone to other treatment centers before and tried alternative recovery programs, but never cracked open a big book until I got here. I came in through The Arbor’s doors as a husk of a human being. I was miserable in my addiction and miserable the multiple times I tried to get sober on my own. I couldn’t stand to sit in my own skin. I was desperate for a solution - a way out of my suffering. I gave my all to this program and trusted the direction of the staff and reaped the benefits almost immediately. My recovery manager, Mike, changed my life. He loved me when I couldn’t love myself. Never in any of my past treatment experiences have we had someone directly in charge of our recovery program. The recovery managers act as a stand in sponsor while you’re in treatment and hold you accountable for progressing in your step work. This is a true dual diagnosis facility as well. My therapist Gabi was very supportive in my journey here, as I do struggle with co-occurring disorders. EMDR is an option for those with trauma who are staying long term (which I highly recommend if you can). Equine therapy was another asset - I had Danielle and worked with Tilly and gained a whole new set of tools for coping and regulation that I wouldn’t have gained in traditional talk therapy. The psychiatrists and medical team are highly qualified and don’t just push pills for the sake of pushing pills. Every single staff member at The Arbor is committed to helping you grow in your recovery. From the admissions team (shout out Tiffany) to the support staff, this place made me feel like I was in good hands every step of the way. I left with a newfound sense of self worth and direction and confidence in myself to keep working the program. Thank you to The arbor for giving me my life back. I highly recommend this facility for any out there who are still suffering and genuinely want to live a life worth living.

I honestly don't know where to begin. This place is completely misrepresented online. First off, the "ranch" does not exist. The facility consists of two small buildings, separated by gender, with a cafeteria you share in shifts. (The cafeteria is also where you do your homework every evening, for there is no communal space large enough to accommodate a group of just ten women.) The aerial shots are very misleading, for you are not allowed access to any of the property beyond the lawn. You are given a small patch of grass next to a parking lot for your “fresh air” which also just so happens to be the smoking area. Seriously, the video has me howling, because the rooms shown do not exist. At all. In reality, they feel and look like a detention center, with bedrooms consisting of a bunkbed and a shared dresser. The accommodations come second though to how I was treated as a client. I entered this facility on my own accord, to help me start living a better and sober life. Going to Infinite Recovery was not the answer. During a time where support is crucial (and I have a very supportive family that is unconditionally loving by my side) I was told by superiors that my family was unwilling to talk to me, for the “amount of turmoil I had caused was unbearable.” This broke my heart to hear, and I actually started to believe it for about a day. In reality, they hadn’t talked to my family at all. These were psychological, abusive tactics to make me feel isolated, with nowhere and no-one else to turn. My Recovery Specialist, VERA ALDRIDGE, left me with some serious PTSD. She is the one who fed me these lies about my family, and also told me another facility wouldn’t “want me” because of how I would interact with men? This is the same facility that happily welcomed me once I managed to free myself from Infinite’s care. This took work. I was threatened with many different things if I chose to leave Infinite, from my insurance not paying for my treatment, to being dropped off in the middle of Buda at a gas station, to having no support from my loved ones once I was out. They tried their hardest to make me feel trapped. The Director of Residential Services, ALICIA BARRERAS, even said, I quote “It must be really hard for someone with an eating disorder to feel so out of control, I’m sure it’s very painful.” And then asked me to get back in line. This was the last day I spent at Infinite Recovery. I cried tears of joy when my ride arrived to take me to a different treatment center. The Admissions Specialist, CHAD CROMER should also be mentioned. Alongside Vera, he also tried to sell me that the other treatment centers wouldn’t want me, and neither would my family if I chose to transfer. (Again, these were lies.) It didn’t take long to see the disconnect in what Infinite says their mission is and what I was enduring. I thought we were all there for the same reason and purpose, for clients to receive treatment and get the help they needed. Why was it so personal to Infinite if I chose to continue elsewhere? MONEY. They wanted my money. This was my first time in treatment, so I was uneducated then at how the system works, or how it can be worked. And Infinite Recovery is doing just that. I could write pages on how horrible my experience was, but I will stop here. Please, do not give these people any more opportunities to hurt and manipulate, it was truly a traumatizing experience. Traumatized. And they keep deleting this review. Third time reposting. Wow

For free health care, I don’t know why I complain. Probably because I'm a salty lil Karen who can barely get out of bed and when I do; I'm mad 😂 I've been to several VAs and Shavano typically completes everything I ask for help with, even if it takes forever. And I really like Dr K.
Overall with VA healthcare, or pretty much anything nowdays; being direct and asking for what you need WITH UNLIMITED PATIENCE gets the best results.

I've been seeing my Shavano Park team since October, and I like the location and staff. Dr K is great. Today there was some hub-bub with the fire department and I was forgotten about in the waiting room and ended up having to be there a few extra hours😂 The pros to this was the waiting room was comfortable, the staff was funny and I got to get halfway through my new library book. The only suggestion I would make would be maybe some feng shui (zen water fountain and tranquil pictures perhaps?) and coffee station/healthy snacks for the waiting room.

I was inpatient here for 4 days, adult unit. Best staff ever. Truly made me feel welcome and wanted while I was there and they really brightened up the mood for everyone as much as they could. Sage Recovery and Wellness Center is truly a healing place. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the peace and care that went into creating such a beautiful environment. The property itself is stunning — from the pool and hot tub to the cozy spaces throughout the villa (which feels more like a luxury home than a facility).
The daily schedule may look full at first, but it’s so thoughtfully structured. Over time, you start building healthy habits and routines that carry into your everyday life after you leave. Some of my favorite parts were equine therapy at the Healing Horses Ranch (the staff there are amazing!), accudetox, yoga, and personal training. Everything is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and appreciate the little things again.
The villa is gorgeous — spacious, peaceful, and filled with comforts like books to read, a beautiful kitchen, and incredible chef-made meals. But what truly makes Sage special is the staff. They don’t just show up for you — they get down in the trenches with you. They listen, they care, and they help guide you out of the darkness with compassion and understanding.
The clients I met there became like family. Everyone is going through something, and it’s so powerful to feel seen, supported, and understood in that way. The therapists and curriculum are absolutely life-changing — I learned so many coping skills that I use every day.
I am beyond grateful for my time at Sage. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life, and I genuinely believe they saved my life. If you’re ready to work on yourself and heal, this is the place to do it. 💛

My daughter attended Rise Inspire Academy for 2½ years and graduated in 2025. We were referred to the program by a close friend who works in the recovery community, and I'm truly grateful for that connection. Rise made a meaningful impact in my daughter’s life. She began her journey to recovery in 2023, and today, she’s the only clean and sober student in her graduating class. That speaks volumes about her commitment — and the support she received.
Throughout her time there, my daughter was offered counseling, coaching, and a safe place to heal and grow. The program isn’t magic, and it’s not easy. But for students who are ready to put in the work, it can work. The staff includes some very kind, devoted individuals who truly care about the kids they serve. For that, I’m thankful.
However, my experience as a parent was mixed. I found communication with the staff to be somewhat lacking. It often felt like they were focused entirely on my child — which is important — but I also felt left out of the loop and that my feedback was not always welcomed or acknowledged. That made things challenging at times.
One concern I want to raise is how my daughter was led to believe she had a chance to work at the school after graduation. She went through the process of creating a recovery plan, submitting a resume, and even had an interview with the director, Evita. But in the end, nothing came of it, with no clear explanation. I can’t help but feel this decision may have been influenced by my own willingness to speak up about certain safety concerns and the need for stronger leadership. That was disappointing, especially after the growth and hard work my daughter had shown.
Despite the challenges, I do strongly recommend Rise Inspire Academy to families with teens struggling with substance abuse. This school offers a life-changing opportunity for young people — but it requires effort, honesty, and a desire to change. For those who are ready, this program can be the turning point.

My first time in this facility. Very well organized in the Lab blood draw area. The number system is very effective. The pace was fast. I was number 30th in line. The staff took 25 minutes to get me in the chair. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive to the patient. Thanks for all you are doing for the veterans.

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.
