This place is amazing. The complaints in the reviews worried me. But the moment I arrived I was treated with the upmost care. Only weak people leave a treatment facility like this. This place saved my life and I was treated with dignity and respect throughout. I have my life back and that is what I went there for. Anybody you read on here that has anything bad to say is soft. This place can fix anyone WILLING to be vulnerable. Some adults never got told they couldn't be unicorns when they grew up and it shows.

Warriors Heart in Bandera, TX was the safest spot I could’ve landed when my life was burning down. I came in drowning in booze, broken from childhood abuse, combat PTSD, and straight rage. They gave me the tools to start building something solid out of all that wreckage.
Biggest lesson for me was Ego. I thought I had one, maybe two. Nah, I had a fleet of them! All those past traumas twisting up and firing off as anger. Warriors Heart helped me see it, strip it down, and start putting in the real work.
Most of the staff are real ones, and they show up every day with wisdom, patience, and love.
It wasnt a magic fix. But it’s where the construction starts, new foundations can be started, and for me, that made all the difference. 🙏

My treatment at Starlite lasted 36 days, and the tools, insight, and support I received during that time have been foundational to my sobriety. Serenity House is a wonderful place to start your journey of recovery. Staff and Counselors are awesome and made me feel like I could trust them. Comfortable rooms with only 16 beds available in each dorm. Not many frills, but that is not what I was looking for. I wanted a solid start to understanding my disease and how to combat it. Food is homecooked and will accommodate dietary restrictions.

highly recommend this treatment center to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health challenges. I admitted my mom for depression and addiction, and this place not only gave her the tools she needed to rebuild her life, but also helped her work through deep-rooted trauma. She had an incredible experience and came out a renewed, joyful, and peaceful version of herself—something I haven’t seen in a very long time.

I got sent here from the center detox I liked it there better than alpha. The girls there are like girls in high and prison mixed together but that's only the beginning first off your better going cold turkey than to be totally isolated from your family and friends or people or at least comfortable around they say its voluntary but they bully you and make you feel like you have no other choice but to stay where your pretty much alone the girls all clique up everyone in your business or trys too be the counselors suck they make everyone else story your story i had literally run away from there tik tok has better recovery tools than this place

SARC saved my life. My life had become unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. I was still working my full time successful career, but it was only a matter of time before I could have lost everything I’ve spent my life building. Tired of waking up with a black box of wine on my nightstand I threw lord knows what into my suitcase and checked into Cagnon for 38 days. For a girl accustomed to being in complete control I was petrified. I was a mess. The staff was so welcoming and walked me through the process. Was I ready to take 12 weeks off of work? It was life or death and I chose life. The detox process was tough. Reba and Alan made me as comfortable as I could be. I had sweats and nightmares. Roy, a lead counselor calmed me down. My job for 5 days was sleep, hydrate and rest. Gen the program Director Is fabulous. She kept assuring me trust in the process. Allow myself time to heal, grieve and let someone take care of me for once. The days are very structured with wellness, nutrition, groups, education, counseling. Nutrition and routine and self discipline are key. We have one job while in treatment. Show up!! It’s impossible not to learn, grow and learn valuable tools and coping skills to set you up for a lifetime of sobriety. All counselors know your name and your case. They are always available to lend an ear and advice. The center is staffed with people in long term recovery. Richard, Steven, Blake, Jess, Mandy Jo all have real life experience , Every night there is an AA meeting and fellow patients can meet in groups to do book study, talk and truly become a recovery family. This is a private facility that works with many insurance companies and helps people who need to make arrangements for private pay. The setting is serene and a wonderful place to heal. Gen, Roy and Paula are true experts in their field. Each with their own individual techniques and special touches to group sessions. I am for ever indebted to the techs, counselors and Karen and Raul Ruelas for their relentless passion in fighting for those struggling with substance abuse disorder to live a long happy life free of drugs and alcohol. World class facility. Amazing caring people who pour their heart and sole into what they do. Run don’t walk!! Jackie should be stripped of her license. She used her position to look up my information and called me at 6:50am in California. This woman has ZERO business running a recovery facility. She heckled me and was relentless on the phone. I filed a grievance with State and against her. So sad she’s in charge. Place went downhill after Karen and Raul sold. Tragic. Go to New Day or SOBA. She’s a disgrace to the recovery community!! Do not go there.

I first went to the in patient 30 day facility in Spicewood TX and that place was phenomenal!! They give you everything you need to be successful once out in the real world. I am now in Steve’s IOP class and actually look forward to every meeting. There is so much to learn and he has the knowledge to teach it for sure. This was an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming and understanding. The counselor (Steve) is one of the most knowledgeable and sincere people I've ever had the privilege to meet and learn from. He welcomes all who are willing to put in the work to improve their lives and help others do the same. This is a safe and judgment-free environment that will not only help you and your loved ones understand the daily struggles of addiction, but will also teach you to understand and appreciate those around you in your day-to-day life. I recommend this class to anyone who is looking for help.

I was able to get off by taking showers 7 a day and using the jacuzzi at golds gym. Yes sometimes you stay up at night but just take another shower Also drinking water and milk help to and reading the Bible. This treatment facility actually have people working there that care. The staff will go above and beyond to get u the help u need or the resources u need. Reagan is a counselor and she’s new but learning FAST. I’m glad I got her as my counselor bc if I need something she does her best to find the resources I need. The wait times can be long and frustrating but it’s not their fault they go as fast as they can to get through the line quickly. I catch 4 buses to come to this clinic. I leave my house at 6am and don’t get home sometimes till 11pm. Bc of the bus service it’s crazy but I like it here.

It's a great clinic, Staff cares and they really do help on trying to keep you on a sober journey, they guided me on the right path on getting insurance and this also helps me on paying for my bill, cause paying cash everyday does hurt your pockets, they didn't have to but they did.this clinic has improved alot, alot different from 15 years ago. I went to alumni last week to get my 1 year sobriety coin and it was my first visit in about 6 months, and what a total disappointment this has become !
Only 2 people spoke the entire time, not even asking if anyone else would like to share, which I had planned on doing, and I'm not joking when I say that both of their speeches was reminiscing about how much fun they had when they were on drugs or alcohol.
The meeting ran over by almost 30 minutes because both of them took so long, and to make it even worse, they didn't even have any 1 year sobriety coins !!

I feel sorry for the inpatient people that were there because that alumni meeting did absolutely nothing to help them !

Of course this is an adult daycare because you couldn't take care of yourself as old as you are.
Many patients go in there and then come out rating this place low and saying negative things. Well if you think about it, your lucky period for even having anyone trying to help you at all. No this is not a luxury place where they will pamper you... absolutely not. You want more out of life. Please, go hug your parents and if you have none, remember there is plenty of other ways to make it through. Remind yourself and be grateful you have legs that got you there...eyes to see ....fingers that work as you type your review. People need to be strong. And if you don't care about yourself then know that no one else will. Find your purpose and appreciate the fact that these places even exist for you.
And hug your children more....that's their cure..it's just hard for parents to show love to their child in a healthy way.

My niece was recently discharged and our family is forever grateful for the help we received here. Although no one wants to be in a mental health crisis, this is something that does happen to real people. Without help so many people would be left in despair. Every time I have visited the clinic, the staff are professional, courteous, and welcoming. My wait time has always reasonable and (knock wood) I see no reason why that should change. Good looking building and office space. Free parking with front and rear access. Clean bathrooms. People in waiting room respect each others space and privacy. Inside the patient rooms are clean and equipment functions well. I would not trade my PPO for the world - he is a veteran and has compassion, understanding, and tolerance that civilian medical professionals just don't get.

I went her twice for depression and intrusive thoughts Mr. Eric and Ms.Geo (sorry if I didn't spell ur name right) are very helpful and ask what you're pronouns are so you're treated like family! Ms. Tanjia is a good therapist! She helped me communicate how I feel to my family without anyone getting upset! But all of the staff make you like you are worthy, strong, loved and cared about no matter who you are!

Awesome program! Stephen,Carly and staff was awesome ! James head Chef is amazing food was immaculate I had to slap myself because I thought it was a 5 star restaurant..Logan was very helpful and informative in my recovery. They did all they could to sweep my daughters incident and abuse there under the rug. She was attacked and jumped by 3 other female patients. Discharged last Monday. They have done nothing but hinder me from getting it reported. It happened on 7-24-25 and I was told by Austin state police department that the hospital should report it. They never did. They asked me if I wanted to press charges and I said yes. Ive received nothing but the run around. This shouldnt be allowed to happen and then get swept under the rug.
