I was shocked when they took all my belongings away from me.Two former clients checked me into the facility.They were pretty scary looking. I got most of my belongings back the next day and was moved from detox to residential area. My mentor did not tell me anything about the place. I didn’t even meet him until the end of the week so I had no idea of doing homework until that Friday. I started out feeling like I was behind all the others in my class. But I didn’t panic. I went on studying at my own pace and finished the 12 step study 2 days before I walked over the bridge.That was so cool, my son came to pick me up. I found god here!!! I was a 22 year old kid that had never been to treatment before in my life. If I hadn’t gone to Stonegate back in 2017, I don’t think I would have made it to 2018. I am very lucky this is the treatment center I went to as a lot of programs don’t teach you how to stay sober after treatment. WHICH STONEGATE DOES. Life can be very hard, Stonegate pushes you in a way with love and care. With that, the relationship I made with God while at Stonegate has kept me sober for about 9 years now. After completing treatment at Stonegate, I was finally free from what ever was holding me back (My self). I was finally living not surviving. Today I live a life I dreamed about while sleeping in room 2 at Stonegate. From a kid that couldn’t stay out of jail. To becoming a man, where god provided me purpose and a beautiful family. I understand you and many others had, do and will have life changing spiritual experiences. Kudos. But my point is it's not the place, building or location, no offense, but not even so the staff. I sat that because the staff can only point the way and the process which is the same for all Christians. The order doesn't matter as much as like you said a truly sincere request and the effort without reservation....I know God absolutely can and does heal people from addiction in the blink of an eye a true miracle for some very few some, pray one time and poof instant transformation....but that is a slippery slope that in my experience most will fall right back into a sinful life. Because they haven't done the actions of truly first admitting their sins to those they have sinned against and second atone for the sins .....Too many people just skip right over this and it's crucial a must do to the best of our ability make right as best we our wrongs, pay back, fix, replace...whatever words you want to use, but a physical action with tangible evidence. As best we can to the best of our ability no matter what the other person or business says ...it took me years to learn this lesson....I'd be beat down and come back like the prodigal son.... completely avoid those I knew either wouldn't forgive me or the price of the debt was more than I was willing pay BACK. Emphasis on back because I had stolen, broken or taking or inquired damage to the other already I set the price of correcting my sins not them, understand? So there's that. Then one must "pick up their cross" and "daily" increase and strengthen faith and obedience to God by following Christ very clear and direct teachings....all right there in The Lord's Prayer. Problem is lots of people just want to pray the prayer, loudly and proudly shout they're belief in Jesus and use "no works will get ya into heaven".....and how dare anyone who doesn't forgive me like Jesus did and y'all are going to hell....I personally have only met one person at 55 years old numerous treatment centers of all types, that that persons one prayer brought a miraculous transformation and they were completely healed never to use drugs or commit seriously bad sins again....every other person I've met and that's in the hundreds for sure has been healed, recovered or transformed until they put the effort into the actions and sincerely beyond the shadow of a doubt admit to themselves and God that their self will and strength without Christ will only lead to sin every time all the time. I know we say to ourselves why does that person seem to get away with everything and have more things and money and easier life than us....well because they are going to pay the ultimate price with their soul in the end of them....these days even publicly stating they made that deal with the devil....so we must sincerely admit to ourselves our sins because only us and God truly know but there must be that third party and speaking your sins out loud....just praying in your head without that witness or the action of atonement your not clean enough to receive the Holy Spirit....and yes I get it's our nature to sin and we will never be as innocent as The Lamb of God.....however if you want to put your soul on the line and put all your chips betting well since no works get ya a ticket.....and you definitely believe in Jesus and release yourself from any responsibility or accountability well I hope your correct....but I guess we'll see....you very well may be....but how's your life been working out in the meantime? If your living in the Kingdom of Heaven here now on earth like Jesus says it is? Or is your life still a train wreck and you still keep trying to get to God your way? I was looking forward to finally meeting a doctor who could help me. Well, when I met Dr. Dinghra through an iPad and only saw her eyes and nothing more, it felt extremely impersonal. I gave the doctor the benefit of the doubt. As we proceeded to talk she began interrupting me and even worse he started subtly insulting. Complete lack of empathy throughout. She only had his eyes in the frame I had no idea who I was even talking to. I could barely understand her but I definitely understood the insults. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. Update: The director switched me doctors to Reddy and she was by far way better than Dangra. She is very nice and listened to me. Noah D 5 months ago If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need. The second part to my 5 star review is for the absolutely amazing chemical dependency counselors that work here day in and day out with some having over 40 or more clients on there caseload, these counselors; Myrtle, Ken, among others work so hard to advocate for you as a patient on this program. The first person you'll meet upon entering Medmark clinic is front office manager Mrs. Phyllis who has worked for Medmark for nearly 10 years, Mrs. Phyllis will absolutely make your day and have you smiling 😃. Mrs. Gwen who is the clinic financial officer who oversees patients bills is a fine individual as well and cares that the patients are receiving the best possible care while at the clinic. You will absolutely love and appreciate our clinic medical director ( Dr. Kurz ) Dr. Kurz has so much medical knowledge and true compassion for everyone of Medmark's clients, she has a deep genuine concern for each of us and I am so thankful to have Dr. Kurz here at Fort Worth Medmark. This clinic and program has saved my life; yes there can be some fear and apprehension about Methadone; but when compared to the alternative drugging life style; Methadone by all means returns you to a normal working citizen back in society, no more of days on end of chasing drugs and wondering where to get your next fix or how to pay for that fix; those days come to an end and stop the day you decide you've had enough of the drug seeking lifestyle that we we're all living. I've been with this clinic ever since Medmark took over ownership in May of 2011. I've seen my share of clinic directors come and go at Medmark, there's been some awesome directors in my time, but my one ⭐️ Review for the end of this review is for the unprofessional unethical clinic director we now have who's name is Sharron; Mrs. Sharron is by far the worst clinical treatment director Medmark has had in my 15 years at this clinic. The directors ways of treating both staff and clients is so poorly that i wouldn't treat a dog that way. Don't get me wrong; Medmark is a great clinic; it's just corporate Medmark needs to seriously hire a new treatment director who will work together building the employees up as well as the clients. When a treatment center has a director who spends her day; ( that is when she is there ) in a closed office and does not get to know the patients who provide Mrs. Sharron a paycheck and works overtime to breakdown her staff and employees and bring division between staff clients and herself; THEN IT'S HELL TIME FOR MEDMARK TO GET A NEW DIRECTOR. since this director has been here; Medmark Fort Worth has gone down hill !!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Mrs. Sharron has caused more amazing counselors to leave Medmark for other treatment places, she has also caused so many clients to leave and find other treatment programs !! 🤬🤬🤬. My pray and hope is that the Medmark powers to be will see this and investigate and terminate Mrs. Sharron from her director position AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !! They’re even offering group counseling now which I think is really great!! I can tell since they got that new director lady with the cool dreads I think her name Sharin. Sadd to hear bout Miss Jacqui but she is in a better place. They got another girl to replace Miss Jacqui rest in peace Miss Jacqui. But so far this new supervisor seem really attentive and as though she really listenin. I hear a couple more counselors leavin but honestly they gotta get on. It’s already gotten better n I think it will keep on. Just takes time sometime. I went there a few different times, and every stay I experienced caring staff who truly wanted to help people get better. The program has a strong 12 step focus, which helped me build accountability, connection, and a better foundation for recovery. One of the most helpful parts of my experience was the EMDR therapy, which helped me work through trauma in a way that was life changing for me. The food was also surprisingly good, which made being there more comfortable during a difficult time. Overall, Fort Behavioral Health provided a supportive environment with people who genuinely care about their clients and recovery. Even when I was far from a perfect patient, I was consistently met with care, patience, and understanding instead of judgment. The facility was always clean, safe, and comfortable, and the food was good as well. The doctors were attentive and present, which made a huge difference. I never felt like just another number there the way I have at some other facilities. The staff genuinely wanted to see me get well and supported. One person who especially stands out in my memory is Ms. Amelia. Even years later, I still remember the compassion she showed me during a very difficult time in my life, and I will always be grateful for that. The outpatient program at Mesa Springs was also incredibly helpful. When I first got to the facility on Sunday afternoon January 4th 2026.I didn’t know what to expect . I was shocked when they took all my belongings away from me.Two former clients checked me into the facility.They were pretty scary looking. I got most of my belongings back the next day and was moved from detox to residential area. My mentor did not tell me anything about the place. I didn’t even meet him until the end of the week so I had no idea of doing homework until that Friday. I started out feeling like I was behind all the others in my class. But I didn’t panic. I went on studying at my own pace and finished the 12 step study 2 days before I walked over the bridge.That was so cool, my son came to pick me up. He surprised me when he walked over the bridge to join me for the commencement ceremony. have not had a drink nor the desire to drink since!

This place saved my life. I found god here!!! I was a 22 year old kid that had never been to treatment before in my life. If I hadn’t gone to Stonegate back in 2017, I don’t think I would have made it to 2018. I am very lucky this is the treatment center I went to as a lot of programs don’t teach you how to stay sober after treatment. WHICH STONEGATE DOES. Life can be very hard, Stonegate pushes you in a way with love and care. With that, the relationship I made with God while at Stonegate has kept me sober for about 9 years now. After completing treatment at Stonegate, I was finally free from what ever was holding me back (My self). I was finally living not surviving. Today I live a life I dreamed about while sleeping in room 2 at Stonegate. From a kid that couldn’t stay out of jail. To becoming a man, where god provided me purpose and a beautiful family. @GDM Doesn't God do that everywhere? I understand you and many others had, do and will have life changing spiritual experiences. Kudos. But my point is it's not the place, building or location, no offense, but not even so the staff. I sat that because the staff can only point the way and the process which is the same for all Christians. The order doesn't matter as much as like you said a truly sincere request and the effort without reservation....I know God absolutely can and does heal people from addiction in the blink of an eye a true miracle for some very few some, pray one time and poof instant transformation....but that is a slippery slope that in my experience most will fall right back into a sinful life. Because they haven't done the actions of truly first admitting their sins to those they have sinned against and second atone for the sins .....Too many people just skip right over this and it's crucial a must do to the best of our ability make right as best we our wrongs, pay back, fix, replace...whatever words you want to use, but a physical action with tangible evidence. As best we can to the best of our ability no matter what the other person or business says ...it took me years to learn this lesson....I'd be beat down and come back like the prodigal son.... completely avoid those I knew either wouldn't forgive me or the price of the debt was more than I was willing pay BACK. Emphasis on back because I had stolen, broken or taking or inquired damage to the other already I set the price of correcting my sins not them, understand? So there's that. Then one must "pick up their cross" and "daily" increase and strengthen faith and obedience to God by following Christ very clear and direct teachings....all right there in The Lord's Prayer. Problem is lots of people just want to pray the prayer, loudly and proudly shout they're belief in Jesus and use "no works will get ya into heaven".....and how dare anyone who doesn't forgive me like Jesus did and y'all are going to hell....I personally have only met one person at 55 years old numerous treatment centers of all types, that that persons one prayer brought a miraculous transformation and they were completely healed never to use drugs or commit seriously bad sins again....every other person I've met and that's in the hundreds for sure has been healed, recovered or transformed until they put the effort into the actions and sincerely beyond the shadow of a doubt admit to themselves and God that their self will and strength without Christ will only lead to sin every time all the time. I know we say to ourselves why does that person seem to get away with everything and have more things and money and easier life than us....well because they are going to pay the ultimate price with their soul in the end of them....these days even publicly stating they made that deal with the devil....so we must sincerely admit to ourselves our sins because only us and God truly know but there must be that third party and speaking your sins out loud....just praying in your head without that witness or the action of atonement your not clean enough to receive the Holy Spirit....and yes I get it's our nature to sin and we will never be as innocent as The Lamb of God.....however if you want to put your soul on the line and put all your chips betting well since no works get ya a ticket.....and you definitely believe in Jesus and release yourself from any responsibility or accountability well I hope your correct....but I guess we'll see....you very well may be....but how's your life been working out in the meantime? Every one here is SO NICE! I was looking forward to finally meeting a doctor who could help me. Well, when I met Dr. Dinghra through an iPad and only saw her eyes and nothing more, it felt extremely impersonal. I gave the doctor the benefit of the doubt. As we proceeded to talk she began interrupting me and even worse he started subtly insulting. Complete lack of empathy throughout. She only had his eyes in the frame I had no idea who I was even talking to. I could barely understand her but I definitely understood the insults. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. Update: The director switched me doctors to Reddy and she was by far way better than Dangra. She is very nice and listened to me.

If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need.

These nurses work so hard and truly care about the disease of addiction and recovery. The personalities the nurses have is what makes coming to medmark so great. The level of professionalism and compassion the nurses have is 2nd to none. I admire and appreciate these nurses so much ☝🏻☝🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. The second part to my 5 star review is for the absolutely amazing chemical dependency counselors that work here day in and day out with some having over 40 or more clients on there caseload, these counselors; Myrtle, Ken, among others work so hard to advocate for you as a patient on this program. The first person you'll meet upon entering Medmark clinic is front office manager Mrs. Phyllis who has worked for Medmark for nearly 10 years, Mrs. Phyllis will absolutely make your day and have you smiling 😃. Mrs. Gwen who is the clinic financial officer who oversees patients bills is a fine individual as well and cares that the patients are receiving the best possible care while at the clinic. You will absolutely love and appreciate our clinic medical director ( Dr. Kurz ) Dr. Kurz has so much medical knowledge and true compassion for everyone of Medmark's clients, she has a deep genuine concern for each of us and I am so thankful to have Dr. Kurz here at Fort Worth Medmark. This clinic and program has saved my life; yes there can be some fear and apprehension about Methadone; but when compared to the alternative drugging life style; Methadone by all means returns you to a normal working citizen back in society, no more of days on end of chasing drugs and wondering where to get your next fix or how to pay for that fix; those days come to an end and stop the day you decide you've had enough of the drug seeking lifestyle that we we're all living. I've been with this clinic ever since Medmark took over ownership in May of 2011. I've seen my share of clinic directors come and go at Medmark, there's been some awesome directors in my time, but my one ⭐️ Review for the end of this review is for the unprofessional unethical clinic director we now have who's name is Sharron; Mrs. Sharron is by far the worst clinical treatment director Medmark has had in my 15 years at this clinic. The directors ways of treating both staff and clients is so poorly that i wouldn't treat a dog that way. Don't get me wrong; Medmark is a great clinic; it's just corporate Medmark needs to seriously hire a new treatment director who will work together building the employees up as well as the clients. When a treatment center has a director who spends her day; ( that is when she is there ) in a closed office and does not get to know the patients who provide Mrs. Sharron a paycheck and works overtime to breakdown her staff and employees and bring division between staff clients and herself; THEN IT'S HELL TIME FOR MEDMARK TO GET A NEW DIRECTOR. since this director has been here; Medmark Fort Worth has gone down hill !!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Mrs. Sharron has caused more amazing counselors to leave Medmark for other treatment places, she has also caused so many clients to leave and find other treatment programs !! 🤬🤬🤬. My pray and hope is that the Medmark powers to be will see this and investigate and terminate Mrs. Sharron from her director position AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!

Whoa things been changing lately for the better it looks like!! Such good energy in there now, good friendly vibes. Doesn’t feel like a line assembly or that they don’t care. They’re even offering group counseling now which I think is really great!! I can tell since they got that new director lady with the cool dreads I think her name Sharin. Sadd to hear bout Miss Jacqui but she is in a better place. They got another girl to replace Miss Jacqui rest in peace Miss Jacqui. But so far this new supervisor seem really attentive and as though she really listenin. I hear a couple more counselors leavin but honestly they gotta get on. It’s already gotten better n I think it will keep on. Just takes time sometime. So far I’m impressed 5 stars big improvement

Fort Behavioral Health was an important part of my recovery journey. I went there a few different times, and every stay I experienced caring staff who truly wanted to help people get better. The program has a strong 12 step focus, which helped me build accountability, connection, and a better foundation for recovery. The nurses and therapists were wonderful and treated me with compassion and respect. One of the most helpful parts of my experience was the EMDR therapy, which helped me work through trauma in a way that was life changing for me. The food was also surprisingly good, which made being there more comfortable during a difficult time. Overall, Fort Behavioral Health provided a supportive environment with people who genuinely care about their clients and recovery.

I had an amazing experience with NP Ubabuco. I recently moved from Florida and attended an IOP program under the care of a psychiatrist. I didn’t agree with prior diagnoses and we discussed why I felt that way and NP Unabuco was able to give his input on what possibly led to those diagnoses. I have been to Mesa Springs many times for both detox and mental health stays, and the staff there showed me kindness and compassion during some of the hardest periods of my life. Even when I was far from a perfect patient, I was consistently met with care, patience, and understanding instead of judgment. The facility was always clean, safe, and comfortable, and the food was good as well. The doctors were attentive and present, which made a huge difference. I never felt like just another number there the way I have at some other facilities. The staff genuinely wanted to see me get well and supported. One person who especially stands out in my memory is Ms. Amelia. Even years later, I still remember the compassion she showed me during a very difficult time in my life, and I will always be grateful for that. The outpatient program at Mesa Springs was also incredibly helpful. Being able to participate in group therapy with people going through similar struggles made me feel less alone and gave me a sense of connection and hope. I would highly recommend Mesa Springs to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis or anyone needing help detoxing from substances. They truly care about the people who walk through their doors.

The details that I would love to share about my personal experiences being a grateful client at the Texas Treatment Services of Brentwood Stair starts when I enter through the front door and see the first smile of the day Mrs. Angela Davis. Before learning about this place; I had very limited knowledge about what programs I would be qualified for (I’m a veteran) I assumed just the VA (for medical ) and I never gave it much thought past that . Finding out about the RRC has dramatically changed my life for the better; and I’m profoundly grateful. Prior to going there -I had lost my job and was about to be added to the ranks of the newly homeless (Depending on how you define “ homeless” in some people’s eyes, I would’ve already been there. I was staying on the floor of a gym at a church where I would clean every night in exchange for sleeping there. I was too stubborn to go to a homeless shelter, because the one thing I had left in my life that I had no intention of leaving was my cat. Me and Cleo have been together a long time- she’s my family. Fast forward almost a year. I have my own car; my own apartment (cat friendly! ) I make a little income online but also searching for a job (it’s hard to maintain a job if you can’t wash your clothes or have a place to stay) RRC didn’t do EVERYTHING for me - But I can honestly say I would not be where I’m at now without them. And although it’s a government agency, I have not met a bad employee from there- My caseworker, Amanda Jones; has went out of her way numerous times to help me-These people care about their clients and they do whatever they can to help them- If you are a veteran and you need help, they should be the first people you call. You won’t regret it. I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me.. Thank you RRC and Especially AMANDA!! William (Former squid; GMG - USS Wabash)

I love the workers at this clinic and methadone works if you really want to quir using but I recommend using it as a tool to get clean off everything and to have the nurses wean you off very slowly once you get to a point that you aren't craving, and try not to stay on methadone for a long time or you'll never get off and it's also ann addiction and even more physically addictive than what your trying to get free from. Okay that's my 2 cents, you're welcome 😉

I started seeing Rachel about 6 months ago but I've been with lifeologie for 2 years now and used to see another therapist which was my first therapist ever so I didn't know the difference between a good and a "ok" therapist. Anyways Rachel has been a BREATH of fresh air and the best thing that could've happened in our relationship between me and my spouse she has made such a huge difference she knows how to really build a relationship with her clients and Understand them. I'm glad we decided to go ahead and switch therapist and go with Rachel I think even if I don't need therapy anymore I'll still find a reason to see her LOL. 😂

I will never forget what this man, Cris, the owner, did for my son and for our family. When my son was at his lowest point and I didn’t know where to turn, he showed up for us in a way I’ll always be grateful for. He didn’t just give me advice or hand me a phone number—he actually came to our house late at night, talked to my son with such patience and understanding, and then drove him straight to a rehab center himself. In that moment, I felt like someone finally cared as much as I did. He treated my son with dignity and kindness when so many others had just judged or given up on him. That kind of compassion is rare, and it gave us a sense of hope we hadn’t felt in a long time. My son is still in rehab right now, but we look forward to him working with ASIC when he comes back.
