I went on studying at my own pace and finished the 12 step study 2 days before I walked over the bridge.That was so cool, my son came to pick me up. I am very lucky this is the treatment center I went to as a lot of programs don’t teach you how to stay sober after treatment. WHICH STONEGATE DOES. Life can be very hard, Stonegate pushes you in a way with love and care. With that, the relationship I made with God while at Stonegate has kept me sober for about 9 years now. After completing treatment at Stonegate, I was finally free from what ever was holding me back (My self). I was finally living not surviving. We enjoyed the on facility pool, team building exercises with the other residents and even had movie time once a week. I also was able to take advantage of a virtual reality session that prepared me for being exposed to my DOC in a safe environment and allowed me a one on one session with an expert trained in exposure therapy. This allowed me to see how physiologically my body will respond to triggers and therefore gave me much better ability to prepare for returning to my life outside of the center. The residental staff is caring, compassionate and friendly. The therapists were knowledgeable, present and available when I needed them. The 12 step team taught a comprehensive program that broke down the literature in a way that was easy to grasp. The kitchen staff provided fantastic meals. The rooms were kept clean daily and provided me with my own private balcony-a beautiful place to begin and end my days, reflecting on the many thoughts that addicts ponder during treatment. I look forward to continuing my treatment there with the PHP program and intend to complete my IOP at this location as well. I was given such great care that I wanted to ensure continuity of treatment throughout all the steps of my treatment program. Highly recommend to anyone who's ready to change their life. She only had his eyes in the frame I had no idea who I was even talking to. I could barely understand her but I definitely understood the insults. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. Update: The director switched me doctors to Reddy and she was by far way better than Dangra. She is very nice and listened to me. Noah D 7 months ago If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need. The 1st time I completed it but wasn't committed and was back the next month. The 2nd time I was all in and worked the program to the fullest. I was clean for 12 years. I also had 3 family members who attended the treatment center and were a success. This place was awesome. However, after 12 years, I recently had a 2 yr relapse and decided I needed help. I knew the place to go. The only problem is I called and called and called and any number I could find apparently was not Summer Sky or it appeared it no longer existed (even through Facebook). This was so disappointing. I chose a different place closer to home and left early during the detox phase because I needed the structure that Summer Sky provided at that time. Even when I was far from a perfect patient, I was consistently met with care, patience, and understanding instead of judgment. The facility was always clean, safe, and comfortable, and the food was good as well. The doctors were attentive and present, which made a huge difference. I never felt like just another number there the way I have at some other facilities. The staff genuinely wanted to see me get well and supported. One person who especially stands out in my memory is Ms. Amelia. Even years later, I still remember the compassion she showed me during a very difficult time in my life, and I will always be grateful for that. The outpatient program at Mesa Springs was also incredibly helpful. Being able to participate in group therapy with people going through similar struggles made me feel less alone and gave me a sense of connection and hope. My testimony of what Freedom House has done in my life is something I will carry with me forever. When I walked through their doors, I was broken in ways I didn’t even have words for. I was grieving, physically weak, emotionally drained, and spiritually empty. One of the darkest moments of my life was when I miscarried and ended up in the hospital. It was a time when I felt alone, confused, and shattered. But I was not alone. Freedom House was there. They showed up. They sat with me in the hospital. They prayed for me. They made sure I had what I needed. In a moment when I felt like everything had been taken from me, their presence reminded me that I had not been forgotten. When I was sick and couldn’t care for myself, they cared for me. When I didn’t have strength, they stood in the gap. Everything I asked for—whether it was something physical, emotional, or spiritual—they did their best to provide. They made sure I had food. They made sure I had support. They made sure I felt seen. They didn’t just say they cared; they proved it through action. During the hardest season of my life, when I questioned my worth and struggled to see a future, they believed in me. They encouraged me when I couldn’t encourage myself. They reminded me that my story wasn’t over. They helped me rebuild step by step. Because of their guidance and support, I was able to get a job and begin standing on my own again. That wasn’t just employment—it was dignity. It was hope. It was proof that I could move forward. Freedom House didn’t just help me survive; they helped restore me. They gave me stability when my world felt unstable. They gave me compassion when I felt ashamed. They gave me love when I felt unlovable. Through them, I experienced what true community looks like—people who show up consistently, who don’t judge your past, and who fight for your future. Because of Freedom House, I now know that good people are real. Genuine love is real. Selfless service is real. They were the hands and feet of God in my life during a time when I desperately needed saving—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Today, I am stronger. I am healing. I have hope again. And a huge part of that is because Freedom House chose to walk with me through my darkest valley instead of leaving me there. I will forever be grateful for the restoration, the compassion, and the unwavering support they gave me when I needed it most.

When I first got to the facility on Sunday afternoon January 4th 2026.I didn’t know what to expect . I was shocked when they took all my belongings away from me.Two former clients checked me into the facility.They were pretty scary looking. I got most of my belongings back the next day and was moved from detox to residential area. My mentor did not tell me anything about the place. I didn’t even meet him until the end of the week so I had no idea of doing homework until that Friday. I started out feeling like I was behind all the others in my class. But I didn’t panic. I went on studying at my own pace and finished the 12 step study 2 days before I walked over the bridge.That was so cool, my son came to pick me up. He surprised me when he walked over the bridge to join me for the commencement ceremony. have not had a drink nor the desire to drink since!

This place saved my life. I found god here!!! I was a 22 year old kid that had never been to treatment before in my life. If I hadn’t gone to Stonegate back in 2017, I don’t think I would have made it to 2018. I am very lucky this is the treatment center I went to as a lot of programs don’t teach you how to stay sober after treatment. WHICH STONEGATE DOES. Life can be very hard, Stonegate pushes you in a way with love and care. With that, the relationship I made with God while at Stonegate has kept me sober for about 9 years now. After completing treatment at Stonegate, I was finally free from what ever was holding me back (My self). I was finally living not surviving. Today I live a life I dreamed about while sleeping in room 2 at Stonegate. From a kid that couldn’t stay out of jail. To becoming a man, where god provided me purpose and a beautiful family. Thank you Stonegate! I would recommend this place to anyone still struggling! 10/10

In the 33 days I spent there I was given time to medically detox, fed delicious and nutritious food, taught the nature of my addiction in scientific terms, given one on one therapy, given the option to attend wellness activities such as yoga and was provided time with a personal trainer to work on regaining my strength. We enjoyed the on facility pool, team building exercises with the other residents and even had movie time once a week. I also was able to take advantage of a virtual reality session that prepared me for being exposed to my DOC in a safe environment and allowed me a one on one session with an expert trained in exposure therapy. This allowed me to see how physiologically my body will respond to triggers and therefore gave me much better ability to prepare for returning to my life outside of the center. The residental staff is caring, compassionate and friendly. The therapists were knowledgeable, present and available when I needed them. The 12 step team taught a comprehensive program that broke down the literature in a way that was easy to grasp. The kitchen staff provided fantastic meals. The rooms were kept clean daily and provided me with my own private balcony-a beautiful place to begin and end my days, reflecting on the many thoughts that addicts ponder during treatment. I look forward to continuing my treatment there with the PHP program and intend to complete my IOP at this location as well. I was given such great care that I wanted to ensure continuity of treatment throughout all the steps of my treatment program. Highly recommend to anyone who's ready to change their life.

Every one here is SO NICE! I was looking forward to finally meeting a doctor who could help me. Well, when I met Dr. Dinghra through an iPad and only saw her eyes and nothing more, it felt extremely impersonal. I gave the doctor the benefit of the doubt. As we proceeded to talk she began interrupting me and even worse he started subtly insulting. Complete lack of empathy throughout. She only had his eyes in the frame I had no idea who I was even talking to. I could barely understand her but I definitely understood the insults. She should be fired IMMEDIATELY. Update: The director switched me doctors to Reddy and she was by far way better than Dangra. She is very nice and listened to me.

If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need.

In 2011 I went through treatment twice in one summer. The 1st time I completed it but wasn't committed and was back the next month. The 2nd time I was all in and worked the program to the fullest. I was clean for 12 years. I also had 3 family members who attended the treatment center and were a success. This place was awesome. However, after 12 years, I recently had a 2 yr relapse and decided I needed help. I knew the place to go. The only problem is I called and called and called and any number I could find apparently was not Summer Sky or it appeared it no longer existed (even through Facebook). This was so disappointing. I chose a different place closer to home and left early during the detox phase because I needed the structure that Summer Sky provided at that time. Not sure what is going on but if there is a next time for me, I sure hope there is a better way to contact them.

I cannot imagine any other place to go to for Help it started off with me coming to this place and then thinking I was OK but in reality I wasn’t and I stopped coming a few months down the road. I found myself coming back. These workers are phenomenal when I came it started with the director James. He explained everything and then some. Then I saw the magnificent charming, wonderful Dr. Cruz he listens to your every need He is an all around a great doctor very intelligent, smart as a whip, very caring And very kind I have yet to meet a doctor in this field like him at all I can’t say enough for him or anybody else Or anyone else at Symetria. The first time I came in, I was assigned to the counselor Carolee I met with her maybe twice because I quit coming and then I began to see Mr. wonderful Trey He is so good makes me feel like there’s A light at the end of the tunnel He is another one that will listen to you wants to set goals for you helps you set those goals and meet them so now when I come in, I see a beautiful smiling Karen she’s so bubbly she cares and she will always always ask you if you need anything else. She is a wonderful person. She will let The nurses know you are there and Keeshaw And Vicky are They will have your medicine ready and they will call you back to dose. They are both very sweet and kind and one thing I know they’re both Christians. And they are always smiling When you come back to their cubicle, I know this was lengthy and I’m sorry and I hope and pray you have the time to read this because there’s a lot more than I can say great wonderful things about Symetria but it’s not necessary for me to write a book so come out. Make an appointment do the first step and thank God in the process that you’re on your way to a better you, you will not be disappointed with Symetria and this crew in Fort Worth. so please make that first step with this Symetria family you will not regret it. I am 6 months in fighting a battle with Kratom. I called Symetria 6 months ago and the next morning I was in the office in Arlington. When I walked in I was a mess, crying and scared. They took me in and helped me right away and took their time with me and the process was so easy to get started. I cannot tell you how much better I felt that day walking out of there. I am doing more than great because of myself and the team in Arlington- David, Misty, Kari, Anita and the docs are so patient and really care. They chose a plan perfect for me and keep an eye on me all the time, they are available 24/7. How ever they figured out how to do it, they did it right! I am thankful for them and will always recommend them. I advise anyone to please just reach out and make that first call.

I’ve been coming to symetria for a year now I would definitely recommend if you’ve been abusing fentanyl the change David has made have been astronomical and how welcoming Kerry is at the front door is great also great job guys!!!!

My parents checked me in BRC in 2015. Don Radon, Jon Waters. They helped me so much. Addiction is a deadly disease, and a lot of my peers from my stay at BRC are dead. BRC saved my life. My experience was far beyond my expectations. I had a tooth pain like something I've never experienced before. I just walked in and was like, look I need help, I can't do this. They said give us an hour and we got you lol. I came back and they got me back there, prepped, ready and done in 45 minutes on a busy Friday afternoon. The real kicker is I went to another Dentist office and they quoted me a $900 for a tooth and I left this appointment paying around $150! I believe my dentist name at JPS was Dr Steven but him and his ENTIRE staff were not only amazing but really friendly too. Their care alone made my mouth calm down some on its own. I hope they see this review and know that I thank them for saving me from another night of absolute tooth torture! I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.

I have been to Mesa Springs many times for both detox and mental health stays, and the staff there showed me kindness and compassion during some of the hardest periods of my life. Even when I was far from a perfect patient, I was consistently met with care, patience, and understanding instead of judgment. The facility was always clean, safe, and comfortable, and the food was good as well. The doctors were attentive and present, which made a huge difference. I never felt like just another number there the way I have at some other facilities. The staff genuinely wanted to see me get well and supported. One person who especially stands out in my memory is Ms. Amelia. Even years later, I still remember the compassion she showed me during a very difficult time in my life, and I will always be grateful for that. The outpatient program at Mesa Springs was also incredibly helpful. Being able to participate in group therapy with people going through similar struggles made me feel less alone and gave me a sense of connection and hope. I would highly recommend Mesa Springs to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis or anyone needing help detoxing from substances. They truly care about the people who walk through their doors.

The details that I would love to share about my personal experiences being a grateful client at the Texas Treatment Services of Brentwood Stair starts when I enter through the front door and see the first smile of the day Mrs. Angela Davis. She's always ready to assist a client with whatever it may be.
