Staff is wonderful. Got me on the right track, with plenty of support once I left respite. Don't be afraid to call if you need them, that's what they're there for.

There is a new doctor at the VA Medical Clinic in Brownwood, and he is amazing! He asked questions and actually listened to my answers. When I asked questions, he answered. He spent time explaining things. I sure hope this is a turning point to upgrade this clinic that has gotten so many bad reviews due to the disrespectful and uncaring attitudes of some of the front line personnel. I actually felt like I was heard and respected. Very good doctor's appointment this year! I am impressed and grateful.

I've been going there for four years now, and they are always awesome!

They Get To Me Pretty Quickly

My parents checked me in BRC in 2015. Don Radon, Jon Waters. They helped me so much. Addiction is a deadly disease, and a lot of my peers from my stay at BRC are dead. BRC saved my life. I will forever be indebted to them. I'm grateful for them. I'm sure no staff at BRC is still there from when I was there in 2015, but I do know they saved my life. Thank again!

I've never been to Brazos but if David is working there, advocating for sobriety, those who want it will get it! David is such an inspirational joy to be around. He'll be there cheering for you for each step you take. Never met someone who shines as bright as David.

I want to start by saying DAVID is an absolute icon, a walking testimony! ….. i met him a few years ago and have seen him grow into this amazing person he is today! Im so super proud of david and his Growth! … he deserves all the greatness he is destined for! Brazos Recovery has definitely been a huge blessing to him and everyone who loves him .

my stay here has been truly amazing. I learned so much about myself. My self esteem has gone up considerably. I just did the 33 day program here and the staff was phenomenal! The therapists and case managers were on top of everything and made my recovery process so much easier. They were there for me from beginning to end. The nursing staff was on top of my meds and I never had any issues. Thank you Virtue for helping me grow and become the woman I am today. I couldn’t have done it without you! I have learned so much about myself and the disease I have to live with. You’ve given me the tools I need to help keep the disease at bay. Although it was hard for me to be away from my family, I would do it again because I am stronger now. The facility was nice and the food was amazing! Anything that I couldn’t eat because of diet, they always had something I could eat and made it for me! I’m gonna miss y’all but thank you again for helping my recovery and helping me leave a better and healthier person! Love y’all!!

Virtue Recovery saved my life. From Gina, to Naomi, and nurse Barbara, the staff was amazing. The groups were informative and life changing. I recommend Virtue to anyone who is serious about their Recovery.

Preferably and honestly the BEST behavior center there is in the United States , went there when I was a teenager and I absolutely Loved it!! If I could go back and help an individual I absolutely would. The staff was really nice . When I was there I had everyone in my unit up to a level 2 while I was a level 4 I made a positive impact in that unit.. this place will always and forever be a 2nd home to me

1991 I was there for10 months. When I first got there I wanted to runaway , I hated being there. By the 3 month I finally stopped resisting working the program, by the time I knew it they where wanting me discharged because I had progressed so well. I didn't want to leave. It's because of this place I can honestly say saved my life. I went from having thorizine shots to being on a silver level.

This facility is great!! My son made a lot of progress. Meridell tried so hard to get my son some more time which he does need however ins would not go for it!! Thank you Austin and Dr. Wilson and front desk staff for helping us as much as you could

James head Chef is amazing food was immaculate I had to slap myself because I thought it was a 5 star restaurant..Logan was very helpful and informative in my recovery. Also thank the counselors for their attention and understanding. God bless you all!!

Love this BHC. Well...I did like it till they moved upstairs. I relate well with the care staff, monitors, nurses, cna's etc. Dr. Bankes is the probably THE best person I know. She takes her career extremely seriously and is just a real great person all the way around. You won't find another person as committed as her. Most people who know or work with her, love her. Thank you, Lindy !!!.

I was a patient here for a week earlier this year, and my stay was wonderful. The nurses were attentive, and understanding, and Dr. Bankes listened to me without judgement. She really helped me to get on a better path in my life and to get my meds all straightened out! The social workers are amazing and helped connect me to resources and free counseling once I left! The food was great, and there's plenty of snacks! I 100% recommend this clinic for all of your mental health needs! The only thing I have to complain about is that the telehealth doctor on the weekends was rude towards me and seemed to brush off my needs. He put me on a medication that I had a bad reaction to and he didn't seemed concerned when I told him and asked to be taken off of it. Everything else is great though!

I'll was there everyone was welcoming and helpful and they listen and and I'll felt safe it was very clean unit and the food was good and groups where wonderful and you art crafts or you play games but I'll made some really good friends if I'll ever need help I'll definitely will be going back

Great bunch of people, kind, compassionate. Very helpful and friendly. Rough sometimes to get appointments but no more so than trying to get an appointment at Shannon.

The San Angelo VA is top notch. Making an appointment is easy and the doors are open for any Veteran. The staff has my vote. They take their job and our mental and physical health seriously.

A proper sober living facility geared toward turning men back into productive members of society after working on their drug and alcohol abuse and achieving sobriety. They focus on life skills and tailor relationships with every person in the house. ADDACV cares about the men here and truly wants to see them succeed. Wonderful, loving people. Their mission is true and most importantly they treat us residents with dignity.

This treatment center was a blessing to me.. I love the staff they were very understanding!! They understood the assignment!! If you want to get sober and stay this is the place to go!! The techs were awesome as well I would recommend this treatment center to anyone!! Keep up the good work CFTH..

I really enjoyed my stay at Christian farms. I was there for 35 days. I’m now almost 5 months sober and counting. They are a little strict but I do see why. Their policies are in place for a reason and it worked! Very grateful. I do think the clients should be able to sit in the sun. It releases endorphins naturally and was a form of mediation for me and they took that from us. The dcs are great. And Ms. Linda… thank you for helping me get in there. Highly recommend.

I was a client back in 2015 at Christian Farms. My experience there was life changing and life transforming. I've used methaphine hardcore for 18 years. I've found the staff to be friendly but firm. The consular I had the feeling that they geniually cared, and it was more then just a job to them they really wanted to help. The environment there was clean, friendly, firm, not strict, & extremely fair. I found Christian farms to be so pleasent and informative to me that I requested to stay an additional 30 days from my original release date. If you really want help & are serious about getting help with your addiction I highly recommend Christian Farms. Today I can say I've been clean for over a year & a half due to largely impart of Christian Farms. I STILL STAND BY THIS STATEMENT - The grammar errors. Coming up 8years in Nov. 9-20-24

I spent six weeks at this facility, and I can honestly say it was one of the most important and helpful experiences I’ve ever had for my mental health. From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported. The environment itself is comfortable and structured. There are FREE snacks available, calm spaces, and a sense of safety that allows you to focus on healing. The program is thoughtfully designed. There are group mental health classes and process group that give you practical tools and techniques to deal with trauma and everyday struggles. On top of that, you get individual weekly individual therapy sessions and weekly meetings with a psychiatrist, so your care feels very personalized. The group therapies were especially meaningful for me — they don’t just teach coping skills, they also help patients support one another, creating a space where you don’t feel alone in your journey. What made the biggest difference for me were the people. Ms. Serenity and Ms. Kamiya are incredible therapists who bring warmth, patience, and real insight into every session. Nurse Amy is kind and attentive, always making sure patients are cared for. If you need laughter and giggle therapy, she is the one for it! Therapist Mark from San Antonio added a perspective and level of support that I’ll carry with me long after leaving. Each of them played a role in helping me feel understood and encouraged to grow. Also, Jesse from the STS program in San Antonio was very helpful in taking our minds off everything (wish that could happen more). And although I didn't get much time with her, Ms. Vanessa from San Antio was also very kind and professional. This program is especially valuable for active duty military members, who make up most of the patient community. Having others around me who understood the unique challenges that come with military life made the experience even more impactful. There’s a strong sense of connection and understanding that you just don’t find everywhere. One additional thought I had during my time here is how much music therapy and art therapy classes could further benefit this group. Many patients come from high-stress backgrounds where words don’t always feel like enough to process deep emotions. Creative outlets like music and art would provide new ways to express feelings, release tension, and build confidence. They could also encourage teamwork and bonding in ways that complement the existing therapies, giving patients even more tools to heal and grow. After six weeks, I left Laurel Ridge with new tools, stronger confidence, Lower Anxiety, and a deeper sense of hope. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking for real healing, structure, and support. The staff and program truly go above and beyond to help you break out of trauma bubbles and move forward.

The staff is incredible! This is a type of place that you genuinely get out what you put in. Everyone is kind and encouraging. Have an open mind and be active in your care and it'll make all the difference❤️ but advocate for yourself!! If you need to get your life right use this place and therapy as time for YOU!
