About Christian Farms Treehouse Christian Farms

I like that this program focuses on healing through Christian principles and the 12 Step recovery model. They’ll give you the tools you need to restore your health and mend your family as you break through addiction. Their treatment plans focus on counseling, education and comprehensive aftercare planning. While you stay here, you’ll participate in a variety of structured activities including peer based meetings, structured Bible studies and life skills training. They also offer classes that discuss topics like anger management, goal setting and relapse prevention.

They’re also very flexible. One thing special about this center is that they offer 30, 60 and 90 day treatment options depending on the level of care you need. The rooms are semi private and comfortably furnished, with on site amenities that include a fitness center, library and laundry facilities.

One former client says he’s five years sober thanks to this program and had a wonderful experience here. Several people say it’s a life changing experience and the staff members are friendly.

I loved everything about Christian Farm Tree house, except ONE “tech” in particular. I went voluntarily for recovery, planned on staying a full 30days, but again; it was this ONE TECH there that I just could not get up with. Besides that; & the rules changing everyday (seemed like they just made them up as they go) CFT did help me tremendously & although I didn’t stay for the whole 30days, I am still sober & working my 12 steps. Both counselors I had were AMAZING (especially Lori) -Overall im very grateful that I went. Very clean environment, activities were good! Food as well. Thanks to all those who actually did turn a new leaf over in my mind. God bless! 🙏🏽🩵

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Alcoholism occurs when a person becomes physically and psychologically dependent on alcohol. Attending a professional alcohol rehab in Texas can provide customized intervention methods to address the physical, mental, and relational challenges of addiction.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The right life skills training will help you build the skills you need for recovery. You'll learn how to solve problems, improve your social life, enhance your mental health, and make good decisions. This is a key component of drug rehab programs in Texas.

Let me start by saying that the counselors are great! The director and technicians will room a schizophrenic client with a client that has severe PTSD. I woke up screaming when the schizophrenic client got into bed with me. That was after I switched rooms because two nights before. The schizophrenic got up and grabbed my leg while I was sleeping. I was then reprimanded and almost written up for waking the other girls in the dorm up. Both times. I screamed. I don’t know anybody who wouldn’t do the same. I went to the director, Miss Rae and she told me that I need to “learn how to learn how to wake up differently” I’m sorry, but what does that even mean? I’m still curious. Can anyone teach me to learn how to wake up differently when a stranger gets into bed with me? 🙃 That made me so angry. She then suggested that the program is not working out and that I have to cooperate with being violated while I’m sleeping. Rae suggested contacting my parole officer to discharge me to another location. If I didn’t finish the program, I would be serving jail time. The counselors provided a space for me and helped me learn coping skills to get over not being able to sleep at night. I started to regress in my progress and started using unhealthy defense mechanisms to cope with what just happened and how I was being treated afterwards. I was afraid the girl was gonna do it again. Everyone else at Christian Farms was completely unhelpful and only did further damage by making me out to be the enemy. They will just suggest that you leave if you end up in my position. Everything was going so great until that incident. I’m glad that I didn’t quit because it would be jail time. I do not recommend this place for Veterans or people with severe PTSD. The counseling for PTSD is great. However, the dorm full of strangers and not having much protection after being violated caused me to regress.
