My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. We're very grateful for these meetings and plan to continue attending.

Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version. The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects. For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

The people at The Orchard truly care about their residents. They also care about the recovery of family members of the addict. If you or a loved one struggle with addiction I highly recommend The Orchard. It is very different than any other rehab facility I have come across and I am forever grateful that we found it!

When I first got here I didn’t trust anyone, but that started to change. The women’s groups helped me feel safe for once and I could finally open up without fear. They taught me how to believe in myself again, after years of feeling invisible. Some days were tough and the place can get a lil hectic, but the staff always tried. I’m heading home soon and I actually feel like I can parent my kids again. That means everything to me.

UPDATE: 12/1/25 I'm downgrading my rating. So far it seems they have done nothing with the things they said they would help me with. The staff was nice, but I had a long wait because the their internet service was down. I really hope they can help me with my needs without having to physically coming to this location because its a very long ride on the city bus to get here from where I live.

A careless mistake made by one of their phlebotomists left me with nerve damage in my arm, resulting in severe pain that kept me nearly bedridden for over a week. I reached out to their compliance office multiple times and submitted a written complaint, but no one has responded or made any effort to address what happened. It’s now been two months since the injury. I saw the doctor twice in April for follow-ups. Both times, he brought up “God” repeatedly, downplayed my concerns, and advised me to simply think positively and take Ibuprofen. He even said the pain couldn’t be “that bad.” While he did give me a referral to a neurologist, his dismissive attitude made it clear that he was more interested in minimizing the issue than taking responsibility for his staff member's blunder. I’ve tried to be patient and respectful, but I’m done with Avenue 360. I’m also considering reporting them to the medical board. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially since this clinic was recommended by The Montrose Center. I’m giving two stars because the front desk staff were kind and respectful of my pronouns, which I genuinely appreciate.

Fulshear Treatment to Transition is a private rehab located in Needville, Texas. Fulshear Treatment to Transition specializes in the treatment of Mental Health.
Fulshear saved my life—twice. I first went to Fulshear in 2021 after moving to Texas. I gained the tools I needed to manage my mental health and really found healing there. One of the most impactful parts of my experience was equine therapy. I was a barn manager and caring for the horses gave me a deep sense of purpose. I also made connections that I still carry with me today. In 2024, I returned to Fulshear when I was struggling with substance use. I knew it was the place I needed to go, and once again, it changed my life. My therapist, Courtney Deadman, is the best therapist I have ever worked with. She’s inclusive, compassionate, and truly gifted at what she does. The family work we did together completely transformed my relationship with my parents—I’ve never communicated with them so well. Courtney held my light when I couldn’t, and now I can hold it proudly on my own. The rest of the clinical team—especially Micah and Injila—also made a huge impact. They led powerful groups and always made me feel seen and supported. The entire staff is truly exceptional. I also want to shout out the admissions team—Helaine is my hero. She supported me with so much care and compassion, and even checked in on me after I left treatment. She and her daughter Della are an amazing team and two of the most genuine, kindhearted people I’ve ever met. I’m beyond grateful for them. If you’re looking for a place that can truly help you heal, grow, and take back your life, I cannot recommend OPI Houston enough!!! Best of luck on your journey!

I never do reviews but I am concerned about what I have experienced happening to anyone else. My name is Kimberly and I am an addict in recovery. I'd l I ke to start off being accountable by saying had I never self sabotaged myself I wouldn't of had to find a place to help me recovery from childhood trauma , alcohol and drug addiction however I didn't cope properly and I got myself into a strong hold which I. Grateful to be catching before it's too late and death and institutions are all my family have left of me. With that all being said. Please do your homework and read reviews because had I done that 1st then I would not be sitting in the ER at Baylor in a state I do not live in with no support nearby wondering why the center that called 9.1.1. 2 days ago is now telling me they no longer can keep my bed when I was suffering a TIA stroke due to conflict with another girl in the home bullying and running things due to favoritism manipulation and bullying tactics. They work off a seniority system which is great and effective to each individual however when one addict starts bossing around another addict it's a problem. When staff had to be asked by me to explain the rules to the house to the new comers because we are having other girls in treatment getting frustrated having to tell us the rules that's a problem.....when your given an LE which is a learning experience write up aka spank on the hand and has consequences attached to it by another client in the home who has child hood trauma and bullying issues that's a problem. This is what happened to me and I will just tell you I've never felt more trapped , unheard and more unsafe then I did there. That's truly unfortunate. They have many beds open at the moment and they are telling me that because I've had to come here due to my health which they were told about previously but chose to not let me have my medication which is a blood thinner because of the bottle being opened already that's a huge problem it's discrimination and it's abandoning a client aka patient. They could simply eliminate bullying and allowing senior peers to tell others peers what to do vs staying in their bubble or lane and staff can be more consistent but Instead I'm having to send an Uber to get my belongings so they are not donated in 24 hours from a facility I drove 15 hours to be at. I will also say there is alot of greatness and great staff at this facility and the clinical team is amazing but the actual home needs a better POA , have exit strategies when emergencies happen and most importantly it needs a Safer" safe place "environment plan in my opinion. Not all of us have been to prison or jail and not all of us were raised the same so allowing uneducated clients tell other clients what to do or kicking off their shoes getting ready to fight is not what my trauma driven addicted mind and heart needed that's for sure. Just educate yourself on every level before choosing a place for your loved one. That is the best advice I can give you. For me this wasn't it and I'm disappointed because I felt blessed to be given a bed there and now I'm feeling blessed to beggetting my things from there and this will not be the end of my recovery. I won't and don't have to use again and I pray your loved one never does either. God bless you and your journey aka may the universe bring you all the positive energy your loved one is missing within. ❤️

PLEASE READ THIS TO THE END. PLEASE.I pray anyone who think about sending their child here sees this and considers what I have to say, I am advocating for the protection of your children. As someone who was here for 7 months as a kid, I implore you to find a different place. I have never in my life been treated so horribly and unfairly than at this place. They straight up told me that telling or reporting anything negative that occurred here to my parents was "manipulation" and that they'd put me on "work detail" for several DAYS if I reported any mistreatment. Think critically. Why would there be so many reports from past children who went here reporting extreme abuse and neglect they suffered here, many of the reports saying the same thing. Think about it, every time a 1 star review happens, multiple 5 star reviews happen. It could be a cover up, with fake accounts.

Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. He taught me about what my brain is going through and actually backs it up with scientific studies and evidence. I am excited about my future today. Like I said PRC is a game changer.

Bay Area Women’s Recovery Center is straight-up the reason I’m alive today. This place didn’t just help me get clean — it rebuilt me. I walked in broken, lost, and tired. I walked out stronger, loved, supported, and finally believing in myself again. The staff here don’t just do their jobs — they pour their hearts into every woman who walks through the door. They gave me strength when I had none, love when I couldn’t love myself, and a community that still has my back long after treatment. I wasn't there for long, but I can see the good this place does for people. I left due to inner conflictions of faith, but that wouldn't be the case with the vast majority of people who come here. I would recommend to 99% of people who have addiction issues, as this place is a hidden haven for those who need it the most. I appreciated a lot of the staff. The fact that all of them used to go here at one point gives another element that adds to the success of this place. Appreciate the willingness to help and to accept anyone no matter who they are. After getting a DUI, I was required to go through this program to keep my job — but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I’ve now been clean and sober for almost 10 months. The staff truly care and helped me believe in myself again. A huge thank you to Mr. Billy and Blake and everyone there for guiding me through my recovery. My DUI was recently dismissed, and I believe it’s because God saw the change in me. My wife and kids thank you too — you didn’t just help me, you helped restore my family. If you’re struggling, I highly recommend this program. It gave me my life back. F. Riley

I want to share our experience at this facility because there are many negative reviews out there, and that can make parents afraid to send their children. But we actually had a good experience. I’d encourage you not to hesitate to make that decision if you need to. Just remember that most people take the time to write something negative, and very few share positive experiences. Trust your own judgment and don’t let negative comments put your child’s physical and mental health at risk.

The staff at Woodland Springs is truly remarkable. When I have a patient in crisis, Dawn, the Sr. Business Development Representative is one call away, to assist with getting my patients the help they need at Woodland Springs. They are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. The treatments my patients receive there has been transformative; They feel supported every step of the way. The team works tirelessly to help my patients stabilize their mental health, offering a variety of therapeutic options and consistently checking in on their progress. My patients are on a brighter path and have the tools they need to manage their mental health effectively. I highly recommend Woodland Springs to anyone in need of mental health support. Thank you for your dedication and compassion!

This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. Oh and the snacks they offer left a stamp on my heart forever... Seriously though. This place was amazing and a saving grace!!

My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.
