My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. We're very grateful for these meetings and plan to continue attending.

Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version.
The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects.
For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

The people at The Orchard truly care about their residents. They also care about the recovery of family members of the addict. If you or a loved one struggle with addiction I highly recommend The Orchard. It is very different than any other rehab facility I have come across and I am forever grateful that we found it!

All I can tell you is you've got to go there to believe it and if you don't believe in yourself they'll help you believe in yourself this has been the greatest experience in my life from the staff to the piers the views not to mention I went there with nothing and came back with everything

This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff are there with you through it all, whether it be a Residential Assistant or a Nurse or your own Clinician you are never doing it alone. They've Got You all the way through to the end. Spent 30 days there the staff was great the food was good hands down the best treatment center iv been too!! Loved my stay
taylor recovery is the best! I came in and despite acting sort of out of control for a while, i was treated kindly and patiently by the staff and was able to detox and recover incredibly peacefully!
The facility is clean and the food is delicious (thanks chef john and mark!) the beds are comfortable and the rooms have tvs. we there are a variety of great counselors who are patient and yet persistent in leading you to a better self.
both the day and night techs are incredibly kind, patient, and accomodating.

I came into Skyward treatment alone, lost, and completely broken. Not only was the entry process easy, but the ENTIRE staff went above and beyond to help me get there. I was warmly greeted by the techs the night I came in, terrified and so very nervous, they made me feel right at home. I had the privilege of meeting the manager Stephanie the next day and she warmly greeted me with a huge hug and open arms. I knew I was in the right place and would be safe. This place not only saved my life, but it CHANGED me as a person. The one-on-one counseling, along with their therapeutic way of treatment (CBT) was EXACTLY what I needed to begin my sober journey. My time there was not very easy on my mind and body, but the entire team came together on multiple occasions to make sure all my needs were met and I was given the best care possible for the 60 days that I was there. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone struggling with the dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse. Dawn, the NP is amazing. Thank you Jacob, Stephanie, Kat, Eric, all of the nursing staff, counselors, and also every tech! You all are AMAZING. The work this place puts in, in order to help people get clean and healthy again is beyond admirable. If you're looking for change, and a new start at life, Skyward is the place to go. I promise you, you will NOT regret it.

From the moment I reached out, the admissions guy made the process seamless by helping with insurance verification and approvals. A few months ago I went into Anaphylactic shock; we rushed to this hospital and man! From the front desk clerk to the doctor himself- the entire staff were quick, professional and overall just awesome! They calmed me down, helped me right away and were overall just nice. I love that entire staff, they saved my life. To any of the staff that reads this-- if no one told y'all how much they appreciate you then just know that this 1 human soul does. Thank you again

Chantal and Valerie were always helpful and responsive to my son’s needs. He needed a stress-free environment to get back on track and learn to enjoy life again. The Psychiatrist appears to be too busy or something.

I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn’t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either
1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.
This time everyone was on deck and appreciated my frustration with Medicare pay for my basic vaccinations. After being turned down( twice) by my chosen provider I received wonderful help with the Lake Jackson VA clinic who administered all the vaccines I was eligible to receive. So cool.

1st Mrs Ruth is a treasure! 2nd I miss Mrs Dawn! 3rd today Dr Obi-Ofodalae (sp... Sorry doc I tried to remember how it was actually spelt and not the phenetic spelling) took a whole hour helping navigate the VA system to help me get to where I need to go, or so we can figure out what is going on. He listened to everything I had to say and the X-rays were done in office the same day.
Yes the VA as a whole is broken, but my experience today was positive and we can't have nice things at this clinic specifically if we don't let it known that this staff is getting it done. We have to make ourselves heard when it is good just as much as when it is bad. So thank you all for today!
Great place excellent therapists and doctors. Just wish they letyou sleep all the way thru the night without waking you for you to take medication vitals etc otherwise top tier facility and services. Nurses are professional and compassionate.

Wonderful experience with my daughter. Bianca is the sweetest. It shows that she truly cares. My daughter is temperamental and gets cranky and scared with new people but Bianca handled her so calmly that my daughter enjoyed her sessions.
It is a blessing to find a therapist who treats patients like that.
I have to say that nurse Cathy is an absolute amazing woman so sweet and very attentive with her patients and she is soft spoken with a wonderful heart of gold

My experience is I'm struggling in my head, but I have allowed all types of substances to hinder me. This place is the greatest I've been coming since July of 20/20 years to get my mental health crisis's under control it has gotten better for me.

They have been wonderful in helping me and guiding me with the resources to help be able to live a sober. MRS JOICE MORGAN!!!! there no words to explain the awesome women, who slowed down enough to notice everything i keep hide for so long, show me how to release and and show me how important i am mom and a caregiver. If somebody gets this message, can somebody please tell me what happened to all the cats pathways drug rehab saved my ex-husband‘s life and he brought home a cat living at pathways for men,,this was back in April 2010. I’m trying to find where the cats are , I want to find offspring of a male cat that wasn’t Norwegian forest cat, Beautiful temperament.
I understand pathways is closed permanently, but I would like to know if anybody knows what happened to all the cats living on the property

I travel from Victoria to have my mammograms performed at JCHD. Just a 20 minute drive up 59 with no congestion to worry about like in Victoria. Their 3D equipment is on par with bog Houston facilities, and the staff have me in and out quickly.
Good program overall. Have to be mentally strong to endure it though. Its alot of work but spiritually and physically i grew closer to the lord then i ever have been. Glad to say i finished the program the right way 15 months later. Amen.

I came to StraightWay in 1988. I had ruined my life and nearly died because of addiction. After a lengthy hospital stay, my pastor referred me to StraightWay. Even though I had lost all hope of ever being anything but a junkie, I got what I desperately needed most: a second chance - and people who were willing to invest their time, and even their very lives to show me what it means to follow Jesus Christ and to live my life for Him. To date, I am going on 30 years of being not only drug free, but being a happy and productive member of the community where I live. My husband and I have three beautiful children and have been married for 22 years this year. My relationship to my adult children and my family has been restored, something I had once thought impossible. I'm so grateful that StraightWay was here when I was in need. I cannot imagine where I would be today if not for this place.

Came to the center 38 years ago with a life of no purpose and living a drug and immoral life The staff there taught me a new way of living following the Word of God. I praise God for all the staff who dedicate their lives to help people such as myself.

Wonderfully and positively fulfilling place! Bill is awesome! The groups are enlightening and truly helpful. PRC in its entirety is incredible. Before coming here I went to the 30 day program at PRC Dallas (Euless) and it went by so fast! Thank you PRC for saving my life! They also introduced me to AA and I never want to stop practicing the steps! If you find yourself needing help please don’t hesitate to call them. I promise you will not regret it!

I'd like to say I appreciate the great differences of the meals and I want to give my nurses a great review for the care of myself I'm speaking of nurse Thompson and nurse Paul very nice and very polite and helpful too 😊 they both will go out of their way to help us all and they are doing a great job with the CNA as well overall I think everyone is great and everything is going well 😊 thanks to the Almighty Lord God blessings and marvelous employees here at Bridge Crest I'm really enjoying my time here now I'll be back in therapy soon also 😀 okay I will be giving Bridge Crest rehabilitation facility an A for the improvements and I will recommend it to others and their family 🙏🛐 again I appreciate the great facility for the work they are doing👍👍 and I give all of the employees a thumbs 👍 and my blessings.please keep up the good work for us all!

M. Smith, NP - a great experience overall. Compassionate, empathetic, and most importantly a great listener. She involves you in your care and provides information on how to communicate with her. The ladies at the front desk were great, as well. I only have positive feedback.
