I have been a nurse 34 years, and I have never worked for, been to this hospital, or told them I was a nurse. My husband went to the ER, got admitted, and had a procedure. We had the BEST care here. The hospital was very clean, ALL the staff was very very attentive, knowledgeable, and so kind. Everything was explained to him in a timely manner. Thank you MRMC for making a difficult time easier!!

The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. When I say staff, I mean EVERYONE. From the techs, to the medical staff, to the housekeeping(they do your laundry), to the groundskeepers, counselors, everybody. This is world-class, luxury, top-tier care. If you want to do it right and you believe that you get what you pay for, this is the place for you. I'm a current resident who has been here for just over a week and am already planning to extend my stay another 30 days.

My first name is Pittman. Over the past year and a half I have been to great oaks 3 times. Each time I did a ten day detox. The last time I tried to do 30 and only made it to 14 days. Point is that this place is not perfect although the kitchen staff and food were both the best, but I gotta say this place and the staff are very sincere about recovery and the clients. Again, no recovery center is perfect, but the obstacles are easy to get around if you want help. I thank you great oaks staff for picking me up and getting me back to my wife and my life!!! Pittman B

This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff are there with you through it all, whether it be a Residential Assistant or a Nurse or your own Clinician you are never doing it alone. They've Got You all the way through to the end. Everything about this place has been above and beyond! I'm a pretty demanding human being and a bit hard to deal with and with class and grace every single staff member has been wonderful, professional, and done an outstanding job, to make sure my needs and my road to recovery has been meet to the best of their abilities! The classes and the educational aspect of this place is also very informative and helpful... I was impressed with the counselors and how they handle indiscretions between other girls with all the different personalities as well!!! Over all very good company and would recommend 1000%.

I came to StraightWay in 1988. I had ruined my life and nearly died because of addiction. After a lengthy hospital stay, my pastor referred me to StraightWay. Even though I had lost all hope of ever being anything but a junkie, I got what I desperately needed most: a second chance - and people who were willing to invest their time, and even their very lives to show me what it means to follow Jesus Christ and to live my life for Him. To date, I am going on 30 years of being not only drug free, but being a happy and productive member of the community where I live. My husband and I have three beautiful children and have been married for 22 years this year. My relationship to my adult children and my family has been restored, something I had once thought impossible. I'm so grateful that StraightWay was here when I was in need. I cannot imagine where I would be today if not for this place.

I found it hard to walk around the campus due to my physical ailments. The facility assisted me with rides from one building to the other. The program helped with my sobriety. I feel that attending classes 8 hours a day 7 days a week was a bit overwhelming.

I have been to rehabs numerous times before coming to Kemah Palms. I can’t express how wonderful and helpful all the staff have been. Hands down the best detox/inaptient experience I’ve ever had. Ok hear me out …..I didn’t have any issues . If you are worried about wait time just show up at 7 you are still going to have to wait a few hours but not like a crazy wait time . If you come after 7 expect to be there a while ….i walked in did paperwork got evaluated(I already have a diagnosis) and dr appointment scheduled next day for meds in less then 3 hours very fast easy process (IF) you come at 7 . I’m sure it’s easy after 7 as a well just maybe not so fast …. Hope it helped.

The staff here are amazing. They are caring responsive and knowledgeable. They gave me the support and understanding that I desperately needed. This is the best place for IOP. And I've been to quite a few. Not proud but it's the truth. Every counselor there is AMAZING. If one feels alone and isolated, they won't here. It is also ran by an amazing and caring individual Agatha. I don't like being in group settings but there is something special about this place. They CARE!
