I travel from Victoria to have my mammograms performed at JCHD. Just a 20 minute drive up 59 with no congestion to worry about like in Victoria. Their 3D equipment is on par with bog Houston facilities, and the staff have me in and out quickly.

I have not yet been to the new clinic so i can not evaluate that at this time. However, this review is based on NP Laurie Collis alone. She is indeed the very best. Most VA providers should take a page from her book!! I have been in the VA system for over two decades and she is the best provider I have ever had at the VA.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Make u relax with their familiarity as you get to know each other. Fabulous support system!! Lots of different options for many different topics. Help is just a step or call away. Walk in intake. Transportation help to and from appointments for Dr, meds, assessments, paperwork, community reference lists. So helpful!! They really listen and communicate. So many possibilities for help with your mental health which is so important!!

I came to StraightWay in 1988. I had ruined my life and nearly died because of addiction. After a lengthy hospital stay, my pastor referred me to StraightWay. Even though I had lost all hope of ever being anything but a junkie, I got what I desperately needed most: a second chance - and people who were willing to invest their time, and even their very lives to show me what it means to follow Jesus Christ and to live my life for Him. To date, I am going on 30 years of being not only drug free, but being a happy and productive member of the community where I live. My husband and I have three beautiful children and have been married for 22 years this year. My relationship to my adult children and my family has been restored, something I had once thought impossible. I'm so grateful that StraightWay was here when I was in need. I cannot imagine where I would be today if not for this place.

My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version.
The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects.
For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

The people at The Orchard truly care about their residents. They also care about the recovery of family members of the addict. First impressions: First thing I noticed was the positive energy emanating from various staff members. Everybody seemed HAPPY to be at work (about 4-5 staff members). That's always a good sign of a good work space. Second was a very low adult:teen ratio (many adults to few teens) which let me know there is very little chance for missteps with resident whereabouts; and as an added bonus, there were zero adults using cell phones! Third and most important was the professionalism and knowledge of the young and thorough intake officer D'Mani. She spoke with such mastery and courtesy and reassurance, that I could actually exhale at the notion of leaving my most precious part of me here-alone, that is, without a family member. At this initial visit I feel confident that my family member will leave this facility emotionally and psychologically better than when he arrived✝️.

The odyssey home is where you come and get away from everything so you can better yourself. you may not like it all while your in there but deep down you know it’s doing you better mentally and physically and showing you how strong you can be when you finish the program all the staff are great people just have the same respect you would want towards you. Everyone isn’t gonna have a perfect day every single day but you gotta focus on why your there and what you need to do so you can go back home and spent time with your family cause when you in there you start thinking about all the stuff yoh missed out with your family and how much of a privilege it is to have your family around but you don’t notice that till your in there and see how much time you been playing with your life there is a privilege for you to become great within yourself you just have to put the work in and show your family that you can make a change for once in your life. I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. They are #1 in my book and again I cannot give them enough thanks and praise for everything they’ve done for me!

This place turned my life around, all the staff were loving and caring, they would do everything in there best ability to help when in need. Healing Hearts is by far my favorite part of my entire stay. This place taught me how to love myself for the first time in my life, I have been in treatments since I was 16 I’m now 33 and I finally understand how important the tools they teach are required for a long length sobriety. Hands down if I was too ever relapse TLR would be the place I’d run back too. Y’all are loved

Even the techs were so helpful n friendly i went in on 7-23-23 everything was good towards the end i got a couch how lucky was i to get couch AUTUMN ha she talked about my pants not being fancy enough for community saying i wasnt serious that I don’t want to b sober ( hint I was in rehab willingly) n basically ignored me wouldn’t help me get help with anything literally SHE DID NOTHING for me n the day I graduated im all proud n happy she walks up to me says “ im not gunna b ur couch, u don’t want this ur no hope bye “ I told the lady in charge she said “ she has to it’s to late , o well just go ask another couch “ other couches had already left or said they were full so while Santa Maria was great couch AUTUMN shouldn’t b a couch if that’s how she thinks while Santa Maria was setting me up for greatness the one person that’s supposed to b ur support on the outside tryed to set me up for failure n Santa Maria as a whole don’t need her mentality in a place like that ur supposed to couch help not tear us down

This place have gave me so much to hope for due to the staff Ms.jasmine, Mr>derrick, Ms.talisha, my counclor Ms.rachel and many more of the staff. The love each of these people have for the patients and care its unexplainable. coming from using hard drugs and not having a sense of care for myself and to walk thru these doors and the arms are open to love you till you can love yourself is amazing, me going back out and relapsing and scared to come back but when I thought about the staff and how much love the gave me I was ready to walk back in the doors and now I feel so much stronger because how much they have put so much love in me again. I'm forever grateful for this place and I always tell others who suffer from addiction that this is where I found myself again, and many found the same from their experience also. LOVE YALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

Food is fantastic! Property and facility are above average with respect to the size of the grounds and amenities (swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, pool table, ping pong table, foosball, and plastic throwing axes). Yoga Therapy, Equine Therapy, Art Therapy, and Music Therapy are also offered. 12-Step Recovery, SMART Recovery, and Refuge/Dharma Therapy are also offered Counselors are great and very supportive in your recovery. Holistically, the programming/classes offered are informative, and well rounded. An outside event is offered every Saturday, and they are democratically selected by the clients. While there we went to see 3 movies and we also went bowling. Lastly, it's a huge plus to have 24hr access to your cell phone and laptop to conduct any business that you need to attend to.

This place is ALMOST like a resort. The property and facilities are beautiful. The food was always amazing , and the head chef is great. He always greets everybody with a smile and takes pride in what he serves. All the BHT were awesome too. This was my first time in rehAb and the fact they never take away. your phone and I could order off Amazon made it soo much easier. The only thing I would add is somehow pairing you up with someone who is a little ahead of you coming off the same substance. So you can ask them what to expect. I literally walked around asking everybody" What's your DOC?" I only found one person. Seemed 80% of residents were there for alcohol. I was there for Fetty& Meth. Took subs too early got PSw which sucked but the nurses did what they could to help and I survived. I did complete the 30 day residential and recommend.

Also, I experienced more than just Freedom from alcohol , that slowly took control over me. I magically adapted to an enthusiastic attitude to replace the damages & Shame of the past ,
