I am a changed, renewed, and hopeful person because of the care The Orchard showed me during my 30-day stay. From the beautiful people who maintain the breathtaking 132 acres, to the very top of the medical/ clinical team — and of course Dan — every single person is beyond exceptional. I truly believe the “secret sauce” everyone talks about at The Orchard is community. It begins with the people who dedicate their lives not only to their own sobriety, but to ours as residents as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who welcomed me into their care with open arms — with no judgment, no preconceived notions, and every willingness to give me the help, the space, and the love I needed to heal from trauma that resulted in addiction. If you are looking for a place to become renewed and begin your recovery journey, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to take a hard look at The Orchard. I came to StraightWay in 1988. I had ruined my life and nearly died because of addiction. After a lengthy hospital stay, my pastor referred me to StraightWay. Even though I had lost all hope of ever being anything but a junkie, I got what I desperately needed most: a second chance - and people who were willing to invest their time, and even their very lives to show me what it means to follow Jesus Christ and to live my life for Him. To date, I am going on 30 years of being not only drug free, but being a happy and productive member of the community where I live. My husband and I have three beautiful children and have been married for 22 years this year. My relationship to my adult children and my family has been restored, something I had once thought impossible. I'm so grateful that StraightWay was here when I was in need. I cannot imagine where I would be today if not for this place.

My daughter was recently admitted and I’m so hopeful she will have a positive and life changing experience here. I’ve heard this place has good vibes and helpful staff. I believe she’s in great hands and am excited for her future now that she’s getting some fundamental assistance. I LOVE this place. I've been to many other recovery centers and this one is by far the best one I've been to. The therapy and counseling is on point, no bs and no beating around the bush. Every time I went to group, the sessions got very deep, and that is exactly what a person with any addiction needs. Not only that, the staff treat you very kindly and are always open to support you. Also, the food is AMAZING. They have a chef that prepares 3 REAL meals a day and is always a different meal (who wouldn't want that?!). There are many things to do for closure too, like games and movie nights. If you are worried about detox, the nurses will fix you right up. This place has been very helpful and fun too, so I really do recommend Taylor Recovery if you are looking for just the right place.

I can’t say enough great things about this facility and the entire staff. From day one, everyone made me feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. I was especially lucky to find a treatment center that accepts pets — if they hadn’t, I honestly wouldn’t have been able to come to treatment. That meant everything to me. A huge shout out to my counselor, Ms. Kim Isaac. She went above and beyond to help me through one of the hardest times in my life. Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. He taught me about what my brain is going through and actually backs it up with scientific studies and evidence. I am excited about my future today. Like I said PRC is a game changer.

This program is just different. Ive been in programs before and they were very surface level, but if youre willing to put in the work, these therapists and counselors are determined to help you in the healing process and deeply. Im really glad I took this step for myself to become a more well person and I hope others choose this step for themselves too with this program because it is worth it. You are worth it. And they will advocate for you all the way.

This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I'd recommend to anyone I know. they stick to the values they have but greatly exceed them. they truly love their clients... now I'm a changed man and can chase my dreams to the fullest. I went to inpatient at Menninger on the 27th of march and came out a week later. My sleep is amazing, my anxiety has been HEALED. My diagnosis was reached in a matter of 5 days and I had a team of personal psychiatrists and doctors attending to my mental and physical health. Amazing experience and I left inpatient missing it and wanting to go back. I’m doing PHP now and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Dr Lin and Dr wolfenburger were absolutely incredible and very well rounded individuals who knew what they were doing. I heard just horrible things about Dr Limmons though. There had been multiple patient advocate calls made against her. So stay out of her way. You will get better here no matter what happens. everything at Menninger was designed for you and you alone, for your journey, for your physical health, for everything. thank you Menninger. Thank you

(i went to the kids unit for 3 weeks and just left yesterday, im 16!!) this place is genuinely so amazing, the people who work there are all such sweethearts and i'm gonna miss them so so much :( i came in extremely suicidal and i had self harmed so many times before i came, but i left with actual hope and excitement to keep going in life. it's not just a mental hospital, it's a place where you meet extremely interesting people to relate to and heal/stay safe from whatever you're going through. it didn't fix me, but it made me stable and confident in my future and mental health/stability. my heart goes out to all of the staff and the other patients i met, love you guys so much!!!!!! i'll miss you guys :(( (especially mr orion, jarvis, anjali, taty, amanda, larry, etc etc bc there's so many lol)

I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn’t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either 1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.

My experience at West Oaks Hospital was fantastic for one big reason. Ms Sharon was the best case manager we ever had for my son. He is diagnosed with Wairente Kosocoff which is very hard to deal with. They always want to leave. Allan, my son would do anything she asked and was very comfortable during his stay once Ms Sharon took over. I would highly recommend West Oaks hospital Don Green.

I’m leaving a much needed review. I found West Park Springs from a truancy officer who directed me to New Dimensions One person led me to 30 more. I finally got to a woman by the name of TJ who works who works for West Park Springs she helped me stay calm in the middle of the worst storm of my life. Most people told me I can’t help you or your son can’t be helped my anxiety went from one extreme to another but TJ has never given up or not taken a call she has been there when no one else would she has gone above and beyond any job or person could ask and for this I thank God for!!! I prayed and then she spoke what I was praying “Lord please send your angels to protect me and my son through this nightmare and please bring the right people “ she then told me all of the right people are going to help and I knew right then and there my prayers were answered Thank you God and thank you TJ!!! My son was never been excited to attend speech therapies until he had Sydelle in TIRR. He's usually grumpy to attend speech but he got excited when i mention Sydelle and his retention at home is very positive. Just leaving a comment as a program volunteer. I honestly feel like the Boaz House provides Christian support, sisterhood advice and valuable connections. Between religious studies, counseling, church and volunteer opportunities each person in the program has the opportunity for success. These skills only helped girls transition into sober living. I have seen a lot of growth with girls invested in the program. For girls who left the program, there were a lot prayers and real loss felt. The staff member I worked closely with definitely gave 120% love & support to the girls.

The Boaz House transformed my life in more way than one. I have battled with addiction for 17 years and been to a couple rehabs none was like this one. Christina truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to help them. I went here for a Christmas music event. I recommend going to the Christmas event. The bell musicians, the soloists, the choir, and instrumentalists were all wonderful.
