So thankful for my Santa Maria Family. My sister was her about 3 times in 2 years. Every time we tried to get her admit, we didn’t follow protocol and the staff always assisted us and she was always approved! The staff looked out for my sister and niece, it takes a village and thank god for each and every staff member here! From the counselors to the security. Instill updated them on my sister because I know they care for her. I never got to visit inside so no comment but i witnessed my sister get her own place, look healthier by the day and get employment. She a break and time to recover. Will always be grateful for their services.

The ladies here really care and I have seen the same workers here for a long time this place really helped me out God bless

This place have gave me so much to hope for due to the staff Ms.jasmine, Mr>derrick, Ms.talisha, my counclor Ms.rachel and many more of the staff. The love each of these people have for the patients and care its unexplainable. coming from using hard drugs and not having a sense of care for myself and to walk thru these doors and the arms are open to love you till you can love yourself is amazing, me going back out and relapsing and scared to come back but when I thought about the staff and how much love the gave me I was ready to walk back in the doors and now I feel so much stronger because how much they have put so much love in me again. I'm forever grateful for this place and I always tell others who suffer from addiction that this is where I found myself again, and many found the same from their experience also. LOVE YALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

hi im Jasmine Thomas i had a great time in the program the every staff there is amazing, it made me take my recovery serious and do things i didnt want to do such as move on to sober living i can actually say my 1st time there it felt like home thank u guys for helping you all get my up highest respect

No complaints since I have been coming here. I expect long wait times so I bring my laptop, book, etc to keep me busy. I know I will be here most of my day, but it gets the job done.

I want to give attention and praise to the in patient spinal cord injury medical team at the Michael E. DeBakey VA medical Center. My brother in law is a patient there and my husband and I visited him for the first time this week, as we are from out of town. The staff, and I mean everyone, are not only excellently skilled, but they are incredibly caring and sympathetic to the patient's needs while exhibiting the highest standards of patient care. They enter another person's story where a life altering incident has occurred and fear, uncertainty, and anxiety have taken over. They handle the lives they care for with compassion and instill hope which is badly needed. They do this with the grace of love and joy. My brother in law laughs everyday and truly values the connections he has with each and every member of his care team. And that is PRICELESS!! Not to mention the care and support that, again, each and every care team member extends to my sister in law. They understand that the hearts closest to each patient are scared and hurting as well during this uncertain time in their lives. The medical staff care team members in this department truly carry and extend the light of hope. Something so badly needed by their patients. Sending a BIG THANK YOU to you all!!

My husband is a vet & we always receive excellent service from all departments. Today, I randomly overheard a conversation walking by. Someone was lost & an employee asked if they were lost, they said yes. The staff introduced herself by name & said I'm here to HELP. She followed up with directing them in the right direction.

I once was a client at the Texas House and if you really want to get your life back on track then this is the place to go! I've been clean and sober for over 15 years thanks to the Texas House. I now know who i am and what my purpose is.

The Texas House saved my life! I literally went from wanting to blow my brains out, to not seeing how life could get any better. It's a tough program with a lot of rules but that's exactly what i needed. I learned how to follow the rules, be a better dad, and clean up my heart and mind. The Texas House helped me understand it was about my attitudes and behaviors. Once I changed them, I changed my life!!! I no longer need to drink and do drugs to feel something else because I love the way I feel now! If your really tired of being sick and tired, this is the place to go.

A good place if you really want to change two things strong work ethic and they teach you how to handle stressful situations by using logic instead of your emotions

The most amazing staff, people who care and doctors that care. My number one concern was the judgment being only 22…but there was no judgment from anyone, when I walked in they made me feel like family! This clinic genuinely just want to see you survive and give you tools to live a better life. I could not recommend this place more….its all government funded and if you can’t get it covered because you have insurance self pay is only 100$ a week. When other places wanted to charge me almost 600$ a week…these people save lives!

The dosing nurses Taylor, Olivia, Lexi & Ruth are all both professional & personable, kind & caring, nice & helpful too! Nancy the "Boss" who runs everything at the front desk has the nicest and most welcoming smile ever, not to mention the most genuine and thoughtful person, truly! And now my counselor , Mr. Richard, he keeps me in line & focused on my treatment plan, thank goodness because even though I'm scatterbrained he is on point! I can't forget to mention Jose, who really is awesome, just don't mess with him when he's drinking his coffee, lol, just kidding. But I'm serious about the entire crew or should I say family because that's what they've become to me, my Texas Clinic family! Thanks guys for all you do!

I especially want to recognize Charla Zendejas — she’s one of the most compassionate and effective counselors I’ve ever worked with. She truly cares about your recovery and partners with you every step of the way to set you up for long-term success. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on real progress. I’ve been going here for serval months now and absolutely love it! The staff truly cares and listens I love hearing good morning Collin and have a great day Collin! When I come in and out from the wonderful person working behind the front desk. I’ve been to three clinics in this one. These nurses have absolutely your full attention, They listen to you they communicate with you, They truly care and I love that. Both of the nurses are just amazing so sweet and caring and very well trained in the field of work! The doctor is The Coolest guy I’ve ever met lol. Very laid-back but listens to you is and your needs and is very open not all crazy strict. Great guy and a great doctor! And of course, the counselors I love them. My counselor is amazing. She’s a veteran just like me and we get along just great. She’s perfect. And there’s always this other counselor always tells me to have a great day with a wonderful smile. And I don’t know Just makes me feel really good. I would give this place 10 stars If I could!! If your looking for Suboxone or Methadone maintenance treatment look no further this is your place to go to trust me. I have been in Methadone maintenance clinics since 2018 and this is the best one I’ve ever experienced. I’m sober and never felt better in my life! 😇😊

I promise this is the best clinic around. They are definitely the most flexible in terms of b.s. administrative bureaucracy. When I was going there you could pop for thc on your u.a. and still be counted as clean. Only place I know of that does that. All the situations described in the negative reviews could have easily been prevented with a tiny bit of forethought and planning ahead. If I was new or a guest, I'd at least make a phone call before arriving to find out specifics. All I see is lazy addicts ripping on perfectly good people because they were barred from treatment for non-payment. Same people probably always there on Saturdays at 6am

Recently guest dosed here and they made everything very easy and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Will def guest dose here in the future.

Fulshear saved my life—twice. I first went to Fulshear in 2021 after moving to Texas. I gained the tools I needed to manage my mental health and really found healing there. One of the most impactful parts of my experience was equine therapy. I was a barn manager and caring for the horses gave me a deep sense of purpose. I also made connections that I still carry with me today. In 2024, I returned to Fulshear when I was struggling with substance use. I knew it was the place I needed to go, and once again, it changed my life. My therapist, Courtney Deadman, is the best therapist I have ever worked with. She’s inclusive, compassionate, and truly gifted at what she does. The family work we did together completely transformed my relationship with my parents—I’ve never communicated with them so well. Courtney held my light when I couldn’t, and now I can hold it proudly on my own. The rest of the clinical team—especially Micah and Injila—also made a huge impact. They led powerful groups and always made me feel seen and supported. The entire staff is truly exceptional. I also want to shout out the admissions team—Helaine is my hero. She supported me with so much care and compassion, and even checked in on me after I left treatment. She and her daughter Della are an amazing team and two of the most genuine, kindhearted people I’ve ever met. I’m beyond grateful for them. If you’re looking for a place that can truly help you heal, grow, and take back your life, I cannot recommend OPI Houston enough!!! Best of luck on your journey!

I came into the ranch broken lost and hurting. I had a lot of trauma from my childhood and my young adulthood that I never processed. As a result I was struggling with addiction, depression anxiety, you name it. Before the ranch I was use to abusive relationships, codependency, homelessness and isolation. I spent 3 months on the ranch and completely transformed my life. It was a lot of hard work. And I honestly wanted to change my life. I knew I was not living the life I was meant to live. I have nothing but good things to say about Fulshear. The staff is amazing and I believe in the program. Since Fulshear I am now 10 months sober. I live in a safe home and I'm able to have healthy relationships. I am back to working and even won employee of the month. I still continue with working with a therapist, which I will probably always continue to do in my life. It's a life long journey. But I was able to start and gain tools to start my healing and new life. I even found good friends at treatment that I still stay in touch with and we continue to love and support each other to this day. Fulshear will always hold a special place in my heart.

I often visit hospitals and I came in and met Shelia that works at the front and she was the sweetest person I encountered in the Houston area that day. Really looking forward to a working partnership with her and her team!

I bought my brother to this facility and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the nicest receptionist Sheila at the front desk. Sheila was very attentive and helpful in answering all the questions I had. She was very comforting while still greeting visitors that walked in the facility. Very professional and should be commended. We need more empathetic, compassionate, and caring people like her.

I was in the veterans program 3 times, and they always treated me very good. They helped me get my meds stable again so that I could return to my home.
