I'm just happy that I found a good psychiatrist. I wasn't happy the first two days I had a appointment, but after receiving treatment and medication I realize that I was just unhappy in general. My son has been there since September 2024. Diagnosed with schizophrenia this is an amazing hospital.Social Sorker calls me monthly with updates .notifies me when his meds change, and reason they changed. His Social Worker is amazing answers all questions always returns all calls. All my visits are very nice from Guard Shack to all employees.They keep the patient busy with Movies , snacks etc . I have had the best experience a mother could hope for at a treatment center. My daughter is healthy, happy and moving on to sober living. My son attended court ordered treatment centers without results. Cenikor is different. Counseling is one on one and the people are kind and helpful. Also, extremely honest and resourceful.

I’m Melles daughter, Bella K. I got out on July 1st!! I truly cannot say enough good things about Sundown Ranch. Going there was one of the best experiences of my life, and I’m beyond grateful for everything I learned and everyone who helped me along the way. The staff made such a huge impact on me. Lacy, Jordan, Jason, Patricia, and Delaney were all incredibly caring, supportive, and genuine. They always took the time to listen, encourage us, and remind us that we were capable of so much more than we believed. They created an environment where I felt safe, understood, and motivated to keep growing every day. I especially want to recognize Judy. I know some people might see her as strict, but after being there, I truly understand why. Judy wasn’t strict because she wanted to be mean—she was strict because she genuinely cared about us. She made sure everyone followed the rules, stayed on track, and avoided getting into trouble with the higher-ups. She held us accountable because she wanted us to succeed, not because she wanted to make our lives harder. Looking back, I appreciate her so much for that. Sometimes the people who care the most are the ones willing to tell you what you need to hear instead of what you want to hear. She always wanted the best for every single kid there, and I have so much respect for her because of it. I also want to mention the ITU (the Intensive Treatment Unit), because I know people sometimes leave reviews that make it sound like a punishment for no reason. In my experience, that’s simply not true. It is genuinely hard to end up in the ITU. You don’t get sent there over something small—you have to make a serious choice that goes against the program or the rules. Most people are only there for around 24 hours, or until they are able to honestly acknowledge what they did and take accountability. That may sound tough, but learning to accept responsibility for your actions is one of the most important lessons we can learn in life. The ITU isn’t there to shame kids; it’s there to help them reflect, calm down, and get back on track. Looking back, I can see that the structure and accountability were there because the staff truly wanted every one of us to succeed. Sundown Ranch gave me so much more than just treatment—it gave me hope, life skills, lifelong memories, and people who truly believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. The staff didn’t just do their jobs; they changed lives, and I’m living proof of that. If you’re considering Sundown Ranch for yourself or someone you love, I can honestly say it was one of the greatest decisions I ever made. The people there care deeply about the kids they serve, and every rule and every expectation exists for a reason. Thank you to Lacy, Jordan, Jason, Judy, Patricia, Delaney, and everyone else at Sundown Ranch for your patience, compassion, and dedication. I will always be grateful for everything you did for me and for helping me become a stronger, healthier version of myself.

I can't recommend this place enough! I was very nervous to send my daughter here after reading all of the reviews, but she had a very positive experience. Her two favorite counselors were Jason and Jennifer. Jason was phenomenal about keeping in contact with me and during our family sessions. You can tell he truly cares and I can't thank him enough. I didn't get to speak with Jennifer until I picked her up, but my daughter has bragged about how she was truly there for her and helped her turn her life around. The rest of the staff were very nice and helpful as well. We are both so thankful for the entire experience and all of their help.

I highly recommend the Andrews Center. Dr. Furlong is an exceptionally outstanding doctor!!! I really can't emphasize that enough!!!!! I've been dealing with mental health issues for almost 25 years now....I really was thinking that the healthcare system was broken until I had my first appointment at this facility. Dr. Furlong along with the staff there are the most dedicated, caring, and patient people that I have ever met in my journey towards wellness. I really wish there was a way for other mental health care facilities to take lessons from them at the Andrews Center so that other patients would not have to go through the system in and out for so long before they are diagnosed correctly and find there way to a better quality of life. I came here at a very low point in my life so I wasn't expecting a whole lot..they were going thru a transition at the time but they were trying to make the process work. DPR was truly an amazing experience. They genuinely care about you and your recovery journey. Lucus pours his heart into this place and it shows. Cindy, TJ and JJ were extremely supportive and personable. The nurses, Amanda, Kenya, Bradie, and Kate were so kind and helpful. And of course Drew and Star were a highlight with the awesome food they prepared and had really great insight. It is truly a gem in the recovery community.

Where to even begin. I woke up on a Friday morning and my family had left me after a 2 day binge. I was tired of losing to my addiction and finally had a reason to surrender. I made a call to three different rehab centers and no one answered. I almost threw my hands up and just went back to sleep but something told me to try one more. It ended up being MTR. I made the call at 1:30 pm and was sitting at their facility at 7:30 pm that same day. It was my first time to ever enter rehab but let me tell you they made me feel loved from the first moment. Nic and his staff were an answered prayer. Jessie, Jessica, Lynn, Brody, Katie, Kay, Ginger, Maddie, and countless others really helped me. MTR’s therapists Sam, Claire, Jade, and Summer really broke down how addiction works and why it happens. I learned so much while I was there. The nurses were fantastic, the doctors listened to what I had to say. I completed the program and I am now home. My family returned. My life is being restored. I’m not looking back. One day at a time. I believe it was God ordained for me to be there and to experience what I did while there was nothing short of a miracle. Thank you MTR and staff for helping me get back to the man God called me to be. Bless you all!!! If you are REALLY WANTING help and REALLY LOOKING to break the chains, I recommend giving them a shot. You can’t do it alone. Let MTR be there for you like they were for me.

I am a recent graduate from the program, and it is the best place if you really want to succeed in recovery. The Techs down at the Elmo house in College Station are highly trained and definitely understand every situation a client has upon entry. They treat you with respect and compassion. The are patient with each person. No matter the reason you check in, they offer all the tools you need to reach sobriety and teach you how to get by each and every day. Kay, Lynn, Jamie, Sarah, Josh, Jessie, and the overnight techs are the best of the best. They even have great, professional Therapists to help your mental state improve, as well as 24/7 medical staff on sight to help you physically. The house is very clean and has plenty of room so you don't feel like prisoner, you feel at home. Great location and a nice swimming pool to relax in. The food is catered so you never go hungry. They pay attention to you and work individually to help your needs. They have outings and you go to meetings and if you want to, they take you to church every Sunday. Overall it helped me tremendously and I would recommend MTR Treatment Program to anyone who is ready to put down drugs and alcohol for good. I love that place and will always hold a huge place in my heart for kick-starting my sobriety journey.

Cypress Lakes was, by far, the best treatment facility I have been to. Unfortunately, I have been a frequent flyer to rehab facilities over the past couple of years. I'm kinda stubborn and think I know better. Lol. There is something really special, almost sacred, about this facility. I can't explain it. It's peaceful and beautiful. But, most importantly, it's the staff. From the Executive Director to the Maintenance Staff, everyone cares. There's no judgment. No one's too busy to meet you where you are. The therapy and the tools they teach can really be applied to life outside the treatment center. I never write reviews. If I like/don't like a place, I use word of mouth. However, this facility is outstanding and deserves every once of recognition.

I attended Cypress Lakes Recovery in October of last year and I had an incredible experience!!! I am now 10 months clean and sober and I am truly grateful for my experience there. The staff, the therapists, the food, the view, the activities were all AMAZING!!! The staff were all committed, down-to-Earth and caring. By the end of my time there, I felt a certain connection to them all. They truly care about your well-being!!! No, you won't be staying in the big house, but the dorms are comfortable and you have your own space in your room. They provide laundry baskets, lockers, towels, etc. We had a mix of different groups and classes that were Recovery focused and kept us pretty busy. In our free time we were able to fish, kayak, swim, watch movies, do puzzles together, play music in the music room, and go for hikes. It's a beautiful property!!! So peaceful! Also, once you reach a certain stage, you are able to go to outside meetings if you choose, like A.A. or Celebrate Recovery, and go on field trips (we went bowling). The kitchen staff was amazing as well and always serving us wonderful meals throughout the week. There is always a salad bar, which is equipped with fruit and muffins, etc. for breakfast. I encourage anyone who is considering rehab to go here!!! Thank you, Cypress Lakes ♡ I hope to see you in October for the reunion!!!

I went back to Cypress Lake twice and enjoyed my time There. The amenities are nice and the staff does care. My counselors Traci & Jennifer were both really kind and insightful. And i like the food. Make sure you have all insurance papers and be prepared to answer a bunch of question. The person who checked us in was very nice, very knowledgeable and very cute LOL.
