I'm just happy that I found a good psychiatrist. I wasn't happy the first two days I had a appointment, but after receiving treatment and medication I realize that I was just unhappy in general. Now that my doctor has helped me so much I can breathe. My family can breathe. My mom even feels like she got her son back.

My son has been there since September 2024. Diagnosed with schizophrenia this is an amazing hospital.Social Sorker calls me monthly with updates .notifies me when his meds change, and reason they changed. His Social Worker is amazing answers all questions always returns all calls. All my visits are very nice from Guard Shack to all employees.They keep the patient busy with Movies , snacks etc . I have to say this place was amazing for my grandson. His family counselor, Lacy Dorgan, was so amazing. Working with Lacy has been an incredible experience. From the very first session, she created a warm, non-judgmental, and safe environment that allowed him to open up and process difficult life experiences. Her gentle approach and active listening helped him feel truly heard and validated. He talked about how much he loved working with her all the way home. And during our Family sessions, she made sure that we were all involved in the whole visit. She helped us work through all of our problems. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone seeking compassionate care. She is a skilled and insightful professional who has helped him make significant, positive changes in his life over the past few months. She doesn't just listen; she provides practical tools, coping strategies, and actionable advice that he still uses use daily. His confidence has grown tremendously thanks to her guidance. He is a totally different person from the time we dropped him off at Sundance.

Tyler VA staff and doctors are outstanding! A recent visit to the optical department went very well. In a week or so I received my new glasses. I returned there and had them adjust the ear pieces and the gentleman that preformed that service did a great job. I am very pleased with the health care they provide for me.

I highly recommend the Andrews Center. Dr. Furlong is an exceptionally outstanding doctor!!! I really can't emphasize that enough!!!!! I've been dealing with mental health issues for almost 25 years now....I really was thinking that the healthcare system was broken until I had my first appointment at this facility. Dr. Furlong along with the staff there are the most dedicated, caring, and patient people that I have ever met in my journey towards wellness. I really wish there was a way for other mental health care facilities to take lessons from them at the Andrews Center so that other patients would not have to go through the system in and out for so long before they are diagnosed correctly and find there way to a better quality of life. DPR was truly an amazing experience. They genuinely care about you and your recovery journey. Lucus pours his heart into this place and it shows. Cindy, TJ and JJ were extremely supportive and personable. The nurses, Amanda, Kenya, Bradie, and Kate were so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to Help this boy become the man that he needs to be not only face life, to be equipped with the right things so he can get through these stages of necessity, preparing him for his journey and sobriety all while, making it a fun memory that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world! My MTR family made me feel whole again in My True Recovery(aka MTR) helping me process feelings and learning coping skills I’ll remember for life! Absolutely saved my life. Between Julie getting everything done and I am mean everything and Cliff being there as a veteran and running that part of the program it allowed me to get everything that has made ever other attempt fail accomplished.
