You never get a 2nd chance to make a good 1st impression, and they take that very seriously here. I was nervous going in because there were so many people there, probably around 50 people 😯 when I got up to get my desire chip, the applause was deafening 🥹 and the women there are absolutely wonderful. I’m actually looking forward to this now ❤️

I didn't know what to expect when I first came . I just knew I needed help with mental health and my Dr felt this was the place for me to receive it . This has been the best decision I have ever made . I feel seen and I know that I'm being heard . They have gone above and beyond for me and I genuinely feel like they care about me and my well being . I come here for medication management (she is so patient with me and listens to what I have to say and if something doesn't work she works with me to figure out what's the next best thing ), I also receive talk therapy here (I've never been so excited to have a therapy session . She won me over with our first meeting . I got off our zoom call feeling like I had just received the biggest hug . I'm literally counting down the days to our next session). Lastly I also receive TMS therapy here . My technician is Joseph most of the time but I've also seen Brianna . They have made this experience amazing for me . Constantly checking on me and talking to me and just letting me know that while I'm there , I'm their main focus . As a mother , I can admit I've forgotten to focus on myself so to have this time that it's all about me is very refreshing . This week we even had a cute little bingo game that made me take some extra steps to being more proactive in getting better . Even if I don't win I'm just excited to fill in the squares. Even the wonderful woman at the front desk is amazing . I'm always greeted with a smile and anytime I've called I've gotten an answer (and you can hear her smiling over the phone ). I said allllll this to say that I'm glad I took this step , I feel so blessed that there is a group of people that care about me and my well being , and I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. They are all truly God sent .

The staff here is truly incredible—both warm and professional. They helped me navigate every step of the process, from dealing with insurance and workplace accommodations to the treatment itself.
Briana handled most of my sessions and was an outstanding technician. She leads with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for her patients. Alicia also always brightened my day with her kindness and positivity.
TMS can feel confusing and intimidating at first, but the team here made the entire experience smooth, supportive, and even enjoyable.

Medmark Treatment Center is an absolute wonderful place for addiction recovery! All the staff are extremely supportive & very genuinely want every person who walks through their doors to walk out their doors with a positive experience living in your brand new sober life. They have access to so many different places to help with any type of aid one might have such as homelessness, paying bills, anything life throws at you! They help not because it's their job...they very genuinely care about people & they want "their" people to live a sober, happy, positive new life always knowing that they will always be there for you should you wake up one morning & find life has gone south. Once enrolled in the outpatient treatment there, you are assigned a counselor that is available to you for any reason every day with Sundays being the exception! I have found that a lot of people really don't have a very positive attitude towards Methadone treatment, & I believe that it is because they don't understand it & it's role in your recovery. I know when I initially signed up, I didn't know or even realize all the pros of using Methadone would bring me. In fact, I only knew one thing & that was that the Methadone would prevent me from having to endure the torment of going through withdrawals from my body physically needing the heroin. Anyone who has ever been "Dope sick" from heroin will quickly tell you what a living hell it can be, in fact there are some people who have actually lost their lives not from using heroin but from going through withdrawals from not having it. I had attempted many different times to relieve myself from the dangerous drug & the "Drug Life" only to repeatedly fail for one reason or another...most of which was the cravings I would have to do the drug even though I was sick to death of that lifestyle mistake due to looking for something that would numb me & my emotions after being physically & sexually assaulted back in 2012. I learned that the Methadone actually prevents those cravings, which is why Medmark Treatment Center was my saving grace & the reason I successfully after two & a half years was finally comfortable enough to leave from there completing their program successfully & have now been free of "Satan's Drug" for almost 4 years now! (2025) I do not ever want to live that lifestyle ever again, it was a whole nightmare within itself & my life was completely chaotic & stressful during the years that I was in my addiction. Should you or someone you love & care about or even someone you may not know well yet...find them stuck in an addiction PLEASE be kind enough to introduce them to the help that Medmark offers. I, myself...have told numerous people about it some who went & others who didn't...but I physically took seven different addicts there & introduced them to recovery through Methadone or Suboxen at Medmark. All seven of them enrolled into the program. After a bit of time, two of them stopped going for reasons of their own...but the other five are living their new lives sober, happy and thriving. You can contact either the primary Medmark Center at the 1-800 number or you may contact the local Medmark Center located on Washington Avenue here in Waco, Texas USA at the local number. Simply Google Medmark Treatment Center near me! I wish each & every one of you the sober life we all deserve & are meant to live. Life is already difficult, more so for some than for others...if you've ever wondered what "Hell" is like... it's like living in this already difficult world, while having an addiction! It's a very deep, dark, lonely, extremely scarry place for anyone to be in, especially alone due to your friends & family abandoning you because they find out you are an addict. Please let them know that you love & care for them & introduce them to Medmark. You will most likely be saving their life. Noone has to go it alone as long as Medmark is here. If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Dr. Kaminar is incredible! I’ve been seeing him for almost 2 years and he is consistently helpful. As a woman with mental illness, I’ve had doctors constantly dismiss my symptoms and concerns. This has never been the case with Dr. Kaminar. He is so supportive and validates my concerns. i did discovery's iop and php program and it completely changed my mental health for the better. i've been to a handful of treatment programs and this one was by far the best. i was in such an awful place at the time and after finishing up the program i honestly feel like a new person. the therapists and staff always go above and beyond. they're funny, kind, and honestly make you feel safe. i highly recommend discovery to anyone struggling with mental illness. part of me was sad to leave!

I’m very grateful for this program. Mental health is something to be taken seriously and from day one I always felt like Discovery and the staff understood that and stand by it. My mental health and personal development benefitted greatly from attending Discovery.
There were times where the things we did felt a little repetitive but I did see the benefit in revisiting things as well. I appreciated the patience and encouragement to get better.

I went for the detox and the nurses were all so kind. The nurse Caroline even would do fun stuff with me and play games with me because I was bored haha. The food was interesting since it seemed multiple staff cooked on certain days. But for the most part it was amazing food. They really cared and it was a fun experience despite the reason I was there.

I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn’t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either
1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.

This location off of Airport Blvd is amazing. I stayed at The Inn for a week with some concerning mental health issues I've never experienced before. The entire staff, from the monitors to the nurses and medication staff, I mean literally, everyone made my time there comfortable and got me all the help I needed. They always had answers for me on anything I had concerns with.
One person in particular named Marc Bickgen has shown the most of anyone. He has helped me and taught me so much. He comes to my location for counseling since my wife is using our truck for work. He is always on time, and never once has he looked at the clock to try and run out the door. We have had two sessions at my apartment, so his knowledge and leadership with me in my time of need has been an absolute blessing. I've never been shown the respect or had any counselor take the time to show what it means to have a non judgemental, non biased, no opinion, and provide more tools than I have ever known I possessed to help me.
The Inn and Integral Care have been a life changing experience for me, and for the first time in years, I am hopeful with the future.
Thanks again to Marc B. and the rest of the staff at the Airport Blvd location.

Brought my daughter here to practice basketball and we loved it, nicely remodeled, everything is clean and spacious, basketball gym, gym, outdoor pool and much more, the front desk guy was not very social he looked like he didn’t wanna be there, but there was another man with glasses he was sweet and smiled and greeted us!

Just leaving a comment as a program volunteer. I honestly feel like the Boaz House provides Christian support, sisterhood advice and valuable connections. Between religious studies, counseling, church and volunteer opportunities each person in the program has the opportunity for success. These skills only helped girls transition into sober living. I have seen a lot of growth with girls invested in the program. For girls who left the program, there were a lot prayers and real loss felt. The staff member I worked closely with definitely gave 120% love & support to the girls.

The Boaz House transformed my life in more way than one. I have battled with addiction for 17 years and been to a couple rehabs none was like this one. Christina truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to help them. I didn't think this program was for me but after completing it and seeing how much this changes lives I have decided to stay here, became staff and am now giving back.
