I honestly love this place but the Beaumont office are quite unfair about attendance and one group I didn't know that my camera was off and instead of warning me she kicked me off wouldn't answer her phone and I couldn't message her and if you miss one day you get a whole week added on. Its also not a nice way to handle people that are needing help from you.

They got my son on the right medication after having a horrible experience at another facility!! My son is actually doing a lot better after coming home from here. They stayed in touch with us, called us daily and gave updates. Was very impressed with them. Yes they have rules the kids need to follow, and that’s good because everything has rules. Yes they spent time in the group room watching a movie but that gave him time to think about what he did to get to where he was. I would highly recommend them!!

Folks should inform themselves before discing the VA; the VA doesn't destroy your credit if you don't pay some bill or overcharge your insurance for whatever they can get. "Update: June 24th 2025, the VA has taken strides in streamlining Veteran care in all its facilities, it is not the same as it used to be. You can pre check in to your appointments. They really care about veterans and working on their timeframes. " Previous review: I could go to Houston 2 hrs away and be seen.. However if you dont go to this outpatient clinic they will not see you unless you are seen within 2 yrs.. They will refuse you to be seen. In Baton rouge I was seen immediately that day at that va outpatient clinic.

I've been using Spindletop my entire adult life. I can't express how grateful I am for the team and the services offered/available to me in my darkest moments. I can't understand some of these reviews as they just seem petty and not really about the service overall, but something they themselves didn't do and expected Spindletop to do it or anticipate it. That's not how it works. Anyway keep your head up team you're doing the best you can with the minimal resources offered by the state.

This is the only place available that is very supportive of individuals who are down and out due to substance dependence, or emotional instability or mental illness. They are truly overwhelmed and underpaid. They help adults and children. Help is almost nonexistent in Beaumont for those who can’t afford healthcare of this nature. Human mental recovery is handled here. The family system easily erodes without such repair and healing. Thanks for helping the people who seek healing their mind and body.

I just left the Melton center yesterday. I have been struggling with substance abuse for twenty six years. I have never in my life met counselors who are more qualified for saving lives than the ones at the Melton center. They genuinely care about each client (and they have many). They are hyper focused on the needs of each client; I was made to face issues that I didn't even know I had. Even the counselor who wasn't assigned to me took one on one time with me to help me reach my potential. These ladies are a force in recovery. The office managers are fair, firm and consistent in helping the house to run smoothly, and to keep the ladies safe.. I am so thankful for the time I was gifted at that place.

Dr Brown is amazing but the person that took my vitals was great to. She had a smile on her face and showed her care for me but so did Dr. Brown. I have gotten more from my 2 visits with her than I had with my previous Psychiatrist. Even when I checked in and checked out your staff was great. The staff here are amazing. They are caring responsive and knowledgeable. They gave me the support and understanding that I desperately needed. This is the best place for IOP. And I've been to quite a few. Not proud but it's the truth. Every counselor there is AMAZING. If one feels alone and isolated, they won't here. It is also ran by an amazing and caring individual Agatha. I don't like being in group settings but there is something special about this place. They CARE!

My daughter was recently admitted and I’m so hopeful she will have a positive and life changing experience here. I’ve heard this place has good vibes and helpful staff. I believe she’s in great hands and am excited for her future now that she’s getting some fundamental assistance. I Wanna start by saying thank you to everyone at PRC for helping me through this difficult process of getting sober. Where do I begin so back in January it was a learning process and a great experience for me I never thought in a million years I could have done that. However today march 28th I AM GOING STRONG ON 82 days sober and by the grace of my higher power and working the steps and making sober connections I’m sober today. I’ve been through a lot during my life with being part of the LGBTQ community (a Transgender Woman) I had lots of hurdles when I first arrived and overcome them so I’m really glad to be doing IOP at the montrose Location I couldn’t have done this without MY PRC FAMILY. I've been to places before that offer "help". But this place is top notch. I felt very comfortable here, to where I actually opened up about everything in my life. They focus on you as an individual, and actually remember your name. I'm not seen as a patient here, but as a person. I feel as though finding this place was a true blessing.
