Look, I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. They have been a literal life saver. I have been an iv/im heroin/fent user for 20 years now. I’ve been on methadone before and it’s always worked. I moved out this way to help take care of my father who is very ill. I was recently released from prison and relapsed upon my release. The main receptionist Debbie got me in right away, they got me funding to help pay for my medication. My counselor Anissa. (God I hope I got her name right) has been so kind and helpful. I recently had to rush my dad to the transplant hospital in San Antonio bc he had a blood clot dislodge and go to his lungs. I didn’t bring my id or anything. The staff at Cms got me guess dosed here in San Antonio and I am just so grateful for them. Don’t hesitate to go. Just go in and get it done and stay focused. If nothing else works for you and you’re a serious opiate addict. Methadone will work. Take it from somebody who’s went to war with my addiction. Just take the medicine and get some structure. Good luck.

Summary first: If you need treatment and are ready to follow a couple of very simple rules, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I don’t care if u have to drive 30 miles, go here! This has BY FAR been the best experience I’ve had during my treatment! I have called 3 clinics my home over the years and this one is SO genuine! Anissa: you’ve been nothing short of fantastic. Literally anytime I needed something, you promptly prepped all documentation and worked with me every step of the way. Our councilor visits always feel genuine, you treat me like a human being and it’s obvious you want only the best for the patients you take care of. Thank you for everything you have done for me! Debby: you are so sweet and are always so kind. I overhear your interactions with the patients you check in and you always treat them with respect and work with them as much as you can if they run into an issue that you can take care of. The nursing staff, (I apologize I’m horrible with names) Especially within the last 3 months are quick to dose, accurate and the sweet woman who usually doses window 2 on Mondays is extremely knowledgeable and is more than happy to answer any questions you may have. This wonderful woman reminds me of my best friend’s Mother, extremely sweet, dignified, tidy, proper proud country girl ready for anything and always has her hair done right! My best friend would probably say “she comes to work lookin’ Tuff!” Yet again, another genuine person who only wants the best for the patients she sees. Best part, when blood is needed to be drawn, she makes it completely painless! This is coming from someone with TINY veins. ( I know that sounds silly, but I’ve been to clinics where your arm and finger tips come out with more than a few punctures) The Doctor who oversees everything here believes in the process. This review is really long but in short, he made me feel safe. I felt like I could tell him anything and he always replied with care and would do anything he could to help. I won’t go into details. But he is the type of doctor you HOPE to get when you’re at your lowest. Management: what can i say without repeating myself. The clinic would not be what it is if you weren’t running the ship! The counselors you’ve hired are top notch. You go above and beyond for anyone who simply follows the rules. It’s very uncommon to have such a well rounded staff and you must’ve gone through Hundreds of applications to get the team you have here.

My son was hopeless, and our lives were falling apart when I called our insurance company for information on an in-network facility. Their first recommendation was Infinite Recovery, and I am eternally grateful it was. The first person we spoke with was Tanner and then the clinical department. They walked us through a full continuum of care program that was tailored to my son's needs. They also provided the most exceptional family program I have seen, and it has helped our family heal and unite. My son is still in the program living in a beautiful sober living home. He now has a job and excellent community support. I highly recommend Infinite Recovery!!!

Stage Recovery is filled with loving, skilled, and attentive staff. They use a holistic model, and honor the natural world and other powerful modalities of healing. I had the opportunity to work with Blake Goldstein, and she is kind, compassionate and incredibly skilled at her job. The people who work here are committed to support recovery in this world that can be so hard to navigate, and it was refreshing and encouraging to see the devotion and expertise on each level of the treatment team, including therapists, business development, and administration. Beyond the logistics, I felt a truly loving and warm feel when I went to the residential and IOP location. I would highly recommend Sage for a chance to reset and pivot from whatever is blocking you from living in your highest purpose.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sage Recovery and Wellness Center is truly a healing place. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the peace and care that went into creating such a beautiful environment. The property itself is stunning — from the pool and hot tub to the cozy spaces throughout the villa (which feels more like a luxury home than a facility). The daily schedule may look full at first, but it’s so thoughtfully structured. Over time, you start building healthy habits and routines that carry into your everyday life after you leave. Some of my favorite parts were equine therapy at the Healing Horses Ranch (the staff there are amazing!), accudetox, yoga, and personal training. Everything is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and appreciate the little things again. The villa is gorgeous — spacious, peaceful, and filled with comforts like books to read, a beautiful kitchen, and incredible chef-made meals. But what truly makes Sage special is the staff. They don’t just show up for you — they get down in the trenches with you. They listen, they care, and they help guide you out of the darkness with compassion and understanding. The clients I met there became like family. Everyone is going through something, and it’s so powerful to feel seen, supported, and understood in that way. The therapists and curriculum are absolutely life-changing — I learned so many coping skills that I use every day. I am beyond grateful for my time at Sage. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life, and I genuinely believe they saved my life. If you’re ready to work on yourself and heal, this is the place to do it. 💛

My son was at this facility. At first I had a few little issues with some of the staff but learned my son was the issue not the staff. The 2 staff members I dealt with the most were Crystal and Austin and I have the upmost respect for them they both had went above and beyond to try to help my son with his issues and he ended up needing to go to a more strict facility and Austin and Crystal went above and beyond to find a facility that could help him better and Crystal went above and beyond and took time out of her busy day to take him to that facility so I didn’t have to drive for 2 days to get there to take him. I am forever grateful for everything Austin and Crystal have done to get my son the help he needs.

All, ALL the staff here are very helpful and friendly. Everyone is doing their best to provide great service, above being under staffed and I'm sure under padded. The Windmill Wellness Ranch is an inpatient rehab and recovery center located close to San Antonio in Canyon Lake, Texas. Here, they treat adults with substance use and co-occurring (dual diagnosis) disorders. If you’re a veteran then it’s good to know that the center is in-network with TRICARE insurance. They also accept most major insurance.
Windmill Wellness Ranch is an amazing facility with even more amazing staff. Their approach to rehabilitation is multifaceted and holistic. Support from dedicated therapists and recovery coaches as well as 24-hour staff combined with individually focused medical, nutrition, fitness, and spiritual aspects provide an amazing impetus for recovery and a strong foundation for continued success. WWR uses a tired approach to recovery, providing care and treatment at all levels allowing clients to develop healthy life skills that will support their recovery and overall wellbeing as they transition back into everyday life. The fellowship and community achieved here continues after treatment with alumni events and open meetings. Recovery is celebrated and remains a continued focus. The staff are knowledgeable and truly care about the clientele. This facility deserves all of the praise it has received and will forever be remembered by me as a cornerstone of my recovery journey.

Briarwood Alcohol and Drug Detox is a medically supervised detox center in Austin, Texas offering 24 hour monitoring and support for adults withdrawing from alcohol and drugs. I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending. The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you: The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order. If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it. There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps. There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. If you need rehab, you do that after, or find a rehab that does detox on site.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Sincerely, Dustin❤️

Nova is far from perfect, and some of the information can be misleading. But if you want to dive deep into the 12 Steps while enjoying good food and a beautiful scenic view, this is the place for you. The staff is great — the RAs and techs are friendly and genuinely care. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Jeff changed my life and helped save my marriage, so the place gets five stars from me for that reason alone. Thank you to Jeff, Korn, Cassandra, Jen, Leon Phelps, Aaron, and the rest of the staff!

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kelsey from Infinite Recovery and have been consistently impressed by her dedication and compassion. One case that stands out involved a client who had been struggling to find the right treatment placement for quite some time despite multiple barriers and setbacks. Kelsey remained persistent, explored every available option, and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. Thanks to her hard work and advocacy, the client was ultimately placed in the care they needed. She is an incredible community partner who genuinely cares about helping people find recovery and support.

Loved my time at Fullbrook. I’m beyond blessed that I was able to have a chance to understand and process my addiction and trauma through this program. Amazing staff that can relate and be so personable and open about their experiences makes it so raw, real and relatable. I made some of my best friends and unbreakable connections there. I absolutely would not be here today or be the person I am today if it were not for Fullbrook. Shout out Ellie, Abba, and Jess. So grateful for y'all and my experience there.

Fullbrook center was life changing for me. I didn't realize at the time what a difference it would make in my life. But since my return home in January, I have 4 months of sobriety under my belt and no desire to ever drink again. Every relationship in my life has changed for the better! I went there with so much past trauma and they facilitated that in such a meaningful way! My sincere hope for anyone considering going here, pick the place that changed my life!

I went to Cenikor 5/6/21 and have been sober ever since. I am so grateful for this place and the experience. There was one counselor specifically who helped me with my childhood trauma and I still carry what she would say to me to this day. The people who work there all have experience and genuinely care about you. I am so grateful for Cenikor foundation. Sierra I met five years ago and she was my sober house manager for two houses and now my best friend, she is truly a woman who cares and understands. This place was the first step in my continued journey of sobriety. I also never laughed so much and had so much fun in a treatment setting before. I will forever cherish and be grateful for this place. Cenikor saved me. Yours truly -LJ

can honestly say this rehab saved my life. When I walked through the doors, I was completely broken — physically, mentally, and spiritually. I didn’t think anything or anyone could help me. But from day one, the staff treated me with respect, compassion, and real understanding. They didn’t just treat my addiction — they treated me as a person. The counselors truly cared and took the time to listen. The medical team made sure I was safe and comfortable during detox. The structure, therapy sessions, and support groups helped me understand the root of my struggles instead of just covering them up. For the first time in a long time, I felt hope. What makes this place different is the genuine love and accountability. They pushed me when I needed it and supported me when I felt weak. They taught me tools I use every single day to stay sober and rebuild my life. Today, I have clarity, purpose, and a future I never thought was possible. If you’re scared, unsure, or feel like you’re at the end of your rope — please give this place a chance. It truly saved my life, and it could save yours too. Forever grateful

I came to Burning Tree Lodge as a broken man with a broken spirit. The intense focus on the solution (based in The 12 Steps) and how to actually apply it to my life was the change in my life I needed. The clinical staff, technicians, counselors, and admin staff all have personal experience in addiction and alcoholism and are uniquely qualified to help those at their lowest. I owe a debt of Gratitude to BTL for helping me find myself as a new man in Recovery. Thank you!

Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward. The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it. What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don’t just treat the addiction—they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families. The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey. The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future. If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, and effective treatment program for a young person struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha 180. They truly saved my son and gave us the tools we need to continue on this journey together. Jenn Parent of Alpha Patient

I am grateful to Alpha for the wonderful and effective program they've designed. Mental health and related services have been hit-or-miss for our family, but Alpha has been such a great combination of evidence-based programming, support, love, and a pathway to independence for young men with struggles.

The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare in the Austin, Texas, area has residential substance abuse treatment programs for men and women over the age of 18. I’ve been to treatment centers all over the country, and I can honestly say there was something different about The Arbor. From the moment I arrived, the level of care, accountability, and genuine support was unlike anything I had experienced before. The staff doesn’t just treat addiction. They care deeply about the individual person sitting in front of them. Every member of my care team took the time to understand me, challenge me, support me, and walk with me through the process of rebuilding my life. There’s an ethos at The Arbor that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s a balance of accountability and compassion that changed me completely. What stood out most to me was how holistic the program is. They truly focus on healing the whole person emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, socially, and environmentally. I’ve been through many different types of treatment, but this was the first place where I learned how to actually live in recovery, not just survive sobriety. Their continuum of care, from treatment to aftercare to sober living, gave me the structure and support I needed to build a real foundation. I came to The Arbor desperate, exhausted, and dying. Today, I am a woman in recovery who is genuinely proud of who she is and committed to giving back what was given to me there. I treasure my experience at The Arbor and am deeply grateful to be part of their alumni community. I truly could not recommend a treatment center more highly.

Me and my team of interventionists and treatment professionals at Whitman Recovery Service have worked with many treatment programs over the years, and The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare continues to be one of my most trusted resources. A major reason for that is Tiffany Tidwell. I often reach out while navigating very difficult and complicated situations, trying to help clients and families gain access to the highest level of care when it is urgently needed. Tiffany consistently handles these challenges with tact, professionalism, and remarkable skill. She has an exceptional ability to meet families where they are emotionally, provide calm and clear direction, and help all of us navigate the next right steps during some of the most critical moments of a person’s life. Her leadership, knowledge, passion, empathy, and genuine concern for others are evident in every interaction. Most importantly, her integrity makes her someone I trust without hesitation. I have referred countless clients and loved ones to the Arbor through the years, and they have consistently had life-changing healing experiences. The program itself is outstanding, and the care, support, and professionalism of the entire team set them apart. Tiffany and the Arbor will always remain one of my first calls when someone needs real help, hope, and a chance at lasting recovery. I would trust them with my own care or with the care of my family members if it were ever needed.

I am writing this review with one-year sober thanks to the staff at The Arbor. Ms. Tiffany at admissions never gave up on me when it comes to getting me back into treatment when my life was going the wrong way. The admissions team to the family coordinators all the way to the counseling staff & recovery- care techs, there is so much compassion & love for the people that come in there. I owe a lot of my success in my recovery to The Arbor. I am still in their after-care with living in their sober living & had completed their IOP program as well. I will always recommend The Arbor to anyone that struggles with addiction. This is the best place to reset & put the healthy things back in order in your life. I thank The Arbor staff for all that you have done for me. The resilience & unrelenting love that was shown towards me taught me that I am worth it & that I deserve a healthy life. **Update**—I am writing this at 2 years & 2 months sober. Throughout my journey in recovery, I completed 18months of sober living at the Hyde Park men’s house. I understood the importance of being apart of a community, with a sense of belonging, & an opportunity to continue helping the new roommate moving into the house. After completing IOP, I continued to stay plugged in to our Arbor Alumni Group that meets every Wednesday night at 7:30pm. What this looked like, was getting a service commitment & staying as involved with the community around me. All that to say, a sense of belonging, consistency, a schedule that I stuck to & making sure I ran my “bright” ideas towards three mentors at least because I am impulsive. I know have been living in my own apartment in my own name, embracing solitude & staying at the heart of being of service to my fellow brothers. Knowing that “I am connected to others”, “I matter in the lives of others”, & “I have something to give.” I embraced a new job, stayed consistent to my schedule, attended the alumni meeting as a home group & stayed involved in the Drug Addicts Anonymous fellowship. I understand that I no longer need to fix my past & begin participating in the present. I thank the Arbor staff, in all the areas of long-term after care & also the ones that work in residential treatment. I allowed others to help me & genuinely took a posture of humble-willingness. Shout out to my sponsor Patrick Dixon, grand-sponsor Josh Snell, Nick Erngstrom, John Schwartz, Victoriano Trevino, and Hamza Naeem. There is hope, keep moving forward, there is so much life in front of you. Blessings, Blaise
