There is an article by, David S. who is an alumnus of the Sontx Residential Program. Wrote and published an article called:
"Acceptance Is (Not The Final) Answer"
It's sad that their are individuals who place personality before principals. This article proves it. The individual takes a corner stone in recovery, "Acceptance" and makes a mockery of it by taking the negative points that an individual can take away from it and saying that's all we believe in recovery. Obviously, David has not fully subscribed to recovery yet. All that he accuses those in recovery of believing about acceptance is wrong and only shows his ignorance. I don't choose to subscribe to the thought that all in recovery are as ignorant as David S. However David said "Acceptance is not the answer to all my problems today"!
If David who's in recovery say all in recovery are liars, Is he telling the Truth?

Their are countless of drug treatment programs, and sober living homes out there, but I honestly don't think I would of have gained as much as success as I have now if it wasn't for Solutions of North Texas and their staff. The structure of the program not only thought me what I needed to know about myself as an addict, but enforced greatly the severity of working my Steps as well as working with a sponsor. Now, I myself sponsor others and have placed myself in a position in life I never thought would be achievable. I truly owe a great and big Thank You to the entire staff, specially Cheri for putting up with me, even though I know she is probably crying because I'm gone. It's okay Cheri, I'm in a better place now, and that's thanks to Solutions.

Though their weakest link is a lock of communication between counselors, each counselor has something to bring to the table and with individual counseling with one that speaks to you, this is a great program. They help those that are lost with readmission when progress has been observed. With a few over sights in policy that I had to endure and point out, this group truly lays it out on the line for those entering their program, regardless of its 12 step based lean. I would recommend this to anyone looking to recover from any substance abuse. I suffering from bipolar and addiction, have found no reason to stop attending, although I have relapsed and have never felt I was without support from the staff or my counselees. Truly a place that brings us together, to fight the storm together, to grow together and to, together, raise ourselves up to fight a common disease.

I love the amazing staff at Helen Farabee. They are there because they care and want to make a positive change. Each and every one of them is wonderful in their own unique way. They all bring so much to the table! I had the great pleasure of having Dr.Crane as my Psychiatrist. Dr. Crane is an excellent doctor and he really took the time and care to find the best solution for me as an individual and something that would fit best for my life while taking my physical health into account as well. @GDM Doesn't God do that everywhere? I understand you and many others had, do and will have life changing spiritual experiences. Kudos. But my point is it's not the place, building or location, no offense, but not even so the staff. I sat that because the staff can only point the way and the process which is the same for all Christians. The order doesn't matter as much as like you said a truly sincere request and the effort without reservation....I know God absolutely can and does heal people from addiction in the blink of an eye a true miracle for some very few some, pray one time and poof instant transformation....but that is a slippery slope that in my experience most will fall right back into a sinful life. Because they haven't done the actions of truly first admitting their sins to those they have sinned against and second atone for the sins .....Too many people just skip right over this and it's crucial a must do to the best of our ability make right as best we our wrongs, pay back, fix, replace...whatever words you want to use, but a physical action with tangible evidence. As best we can to the best of our ability no matter what the other person or business says ...it took me years to learn this lesson....I'd be beat down and come back like the prodigal son.... completely avoid those I knew either wouldn't forgive me or the price of the debt was more than I was willing pay BACK. Emphasis on back because I had stolen, broken or taking or inquired damage to the other already I set the price of correcting my sins not them, understand? So there's that. Then one must "pick up their cross" and "daily" increase and strengthen faith and obedience to God by following Christ very clear and direct teachings....all right there in The Lord's Prayer. Problem is lots of people just want to pray the prayer, loudly and proudly shout they're belief in Jesus and use "no works will get ya into heaven".....and how dare anyone who doesn't forgive me like Jesus did and y'all are going to hell....I personally have only met one person at 55 years old numerous treatment centers of all types, that that persons one prayer brought a miraculous transformation and they were completely healed never to use drugs or commit seriously bad sins again....every other person I've met and that's in the hundreds for sure has been healed, recovered or transformed until they put the effort into the actions and sincerely beyond the shadow of a doubt admit to themselves and God that their self will and strength without Christ will only lead to sin every time all the time. I know we say to ourselves why does that person seem to get away with everything and have more things and money and easier life than us....well because they are going to pay the ultimate price with their soul in the end of them....these days even publicly stating they made that deal with the devil....so we must sincerely admit to ourselves our sins because only us and God truly know but there must be that third party and speaking your sins out loud....just praying in your head without that witness or the action of atonement your not clean enough to receive the Holy Spirit....and yes I get it's our nature to sin and we will never be as innocent as The Lamb of God.....however if you want to put your soul on the line and put all your chips betting well since no works get ya a ticket.....and you definitely believe in Jesus and release yourself from any responsibility or accountability well I hope your correct....but I guess we'll see....you very well may be....but how's your life been working out in the meantime? If your living in the Kingdom of Heaven here now on earth like Jesus says it is? Or is your life still a train wreck and you still keep trying to get to God your way? Picking and choosing what Bible verses you, if you were God, would apply to you....The devil made me do it and I believe in Jesus and my sins are covered and no works will get me in.....mmmhhhmmm that never worked for me or anyone save that one man I've ever met....what I have experienced myself and see daily all around

I went to Rose Street because I was being told by an abusive toxic partner at the time that I'm crazy and so I said that let me go get tested turns out I've suffered.
Now Wichita County Sheriff's Department mishandled an emergency situation that led to a inferior infarction and they're trying to cover it up by lying to the emergency room at United Regional doctors that I have other mental illnesses. In like Sheldon Cooper I've been tested and I have receipts.

BEST PLACE EVER. I have tried various other doctors/clinics and none of them even begin to compare to this one. The staff here is absolutely amazing. I can’t even make a single complaint. Dr Son is the best as well. He explains everything and you truly feel like he understands you. I can proudly say this, this place saved my life. If you or someone you know needs help getting off opiates do it right the first time and come here. You won’t be disappointed. If you are specifically struggling with fentanyl please don’t waste your time with other ways. I have tried 6 other methods from lazer therapy to having the earpiece to suboxone. Methadone is the key to our current fentanyl crisis. This clinic makes recovery possible again!

I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. I will forever be in debt to what this program gave me during the most formative year of my life. Lighthouse is one of very few places where every staff member truly just wants to see you succeed. Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person.
Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support.
I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. I came here for my recovery, and at first I would say that I didnt like it, but that was making excuses for myself. But I stayed and graduated, this place tought me to learn patience and roll with changes that can come up in real life and not have to turn to drugs. Now im a peerlead helping others in the community to see the bright side of things and fight those urges we all get. This is hard thing to do alone, but if u build a community it becomes easier. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

The staff here has shown me that recovery isn’t just possible — it’s something worth fighting for every single day. They treat you with genuine care, compassion, and patience, even on the days when you struggle to believe in yourself.
I’m still learning, growing, and working through things — recovery is not always easy. But being here has given me real tools and real hope. Every therapist, tech, and counselor puts in the effort to help you understand what you’re going through and how to move forward in a healthier way. They celebrate the small victories with you and help you stay strong through the setbacks.
The environment feels safe and supportive — the groups are meaningful, the activities help you reconnect with life, and the structure gives you stability. I’ve met people here who remind me that I’m not alone in this journey, and that has made such a difference.

So, let me just start off by saying thank you to all involved with Aspire!
I was reluctant to say the least because I've been through IOP before. That shadow wasn't casted over me after the first session I sat in my seat.
I grew and grew with the help of Aspire and my journey was exactly what I was looking for.
I garnered the tools to get a ton of steam off and establish my support system in Aspire and OUTSIDE of Aspire, which they encouraged me to do.
The entire team was apart of my experience and went above and beyond to help me get on to the next chapter of my life.
I'm eternally grateful to the entire team and program of Aspire and would definitely suggest this be the group to consider for your start and introduction to getting the tools you need to stay sober in early sobriety.

Last Friday my daughter had a seizure inside this center. The nurse accused her of faking it and told her to "get up" and the director and staff left her lying on her stomach on the floor while this was happening. I am appalled and this is negligent! Your children are not safe here and the so called nurse is far from that. A true nurse wouldn't accuse someone of faking a seizure and wouldn't leave her lying on her stomach. My daughter isn't the only one who gave me the details, the director herself told me about her lying on her stomach because they didn't know if she was having a seizure or a panic attack. Knowing this, they still didn't call 911. The director also told me that the nurse was watching my daughter through a window even though a code had been called. My daughter is special needs and has disabilities and I feel they were risking her life. When I left work and picked her up she had been crying. She had tears still. I am so angry and disappointed seeing as this is supposed to be a a safe place for someone with mental health issues and disabilities. The director never apologized to me and I won't forget this moving forward and feel obligated to let other parents know.

I have a son with ADHD and disruptive mood. From the very first day of him attending this program, I instantly saw a positive change in his behavior. He has continued to progress each week.
We have gone from constant temper tantrums, defiance, and destructive behavior to a very calm and well mannered child. My baby is a completely different child since attending EXCEL and I would HIGHLY recommend this center to any parent facing similar difficulties.
I would also like to point out that the staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND for their clients. They have met us at every need, are very informative, always keep us updated as parents, and truly care for these kids!
They went the extra mile for my child to ensure successful completion of this program. I can’t thank y’all enough. I’m so proud of my son’s progress and can’t help but smile every time he utilizes his coping mechanisms. We’re very satisfied and grateful for this life changing experience!
