After cancer and chemotherapy i was struggling with sleep deprivation and anxiety of returning cancer. Also challenges from the many side effects of chemotherapy. I found Kemah palms recovery had a mission to help no matter what the challenge. I went thru their pain management program with Barry seeking better treatments and left with a solid plan. Though I didn’t struggle with addiction the staff and medical team treated me with the most compassion and respect understanding my situation was different but helping anyway they could to get my life back after cancer and chemotherapy treatment. I can’t speak more highly of the staff there and the personal friendships I made. I’m hoping they expand into the dfw area because there is nothing like that in dfw area with this kind of care.

Cenikor definitely changed my life for the better. They gave me a second opportunity to restart my life and for that I will always be grateful. The staff is very caring and always willing to help with anything you need. They will help you get social security cards, and identification to help you get a job to get back on your feet. And there are many job opportunities local to the facility. I am blessed to have 16 months sober today and could not have done it without Cenikor. If you are looking struggling with alcoholism and or addiction I highly recommend the 30 day residential program and then going to the sober living as they have the staff with the willingness, and the resources to help you.

The staff are a bunch of amazing people who care to their core. They share their stories and experiences on a level all of us can relate to and it moves us to read, study and open ourselves to others as well as on a spiritual level.

There is ample space and seating for monthly meetings, and to wait if necessary.
Plenty of parking is provided in the adjacent parking garage with a minimal walk to the building for senior patients whether you park on the first or second floor.

Skyward recovery is the place you want to be! I was so scared this time and alone that I didn't think I was going to make it out alive. My mind body and soul were tired and ready for change from "dead end" rehab facilities. When I looked up skyward my main focus was to go get the treatment I needed that was going to focus on mostly on the behaviors along with addiction. Let's face it, we are not good at adulting because some of us started our addiction during our childhood, so our thoughts are not focused on being in the solution but remaining in the problem. I was able to work on my inner child and as well as my inner critic and attain the right tools and steps to works towards the love I now have for myself. Having a problem is hard, trying to solve it without someone with enough knowledge about it or by yourself is even harder. I was lucky enough to be given Tom Dodgson’s contact info and through the program I’ve seen old bad habits fade and more positive habits form. It took me wanting something more than what I had and along with Tom we traveled that path together. If you’d like to see some of your older bad habits be replaced and your willing to put in the work, because it is work. Then talk to Tom if you can but mainly just talk to someone.

Someone very important to me and my life and my being is a former patient of Positive Recovery Centers of Clear Lake. Before their journey took them to PRC-CL, I felt there was no hope for us and I didn't know what to do. But within months. they began to change. They're now the beautiful, perfect person that I knew was there. Now, our relationship is stronger than ever and grows everyday. I have been to a few recovery centers and CARS is by far the best. They work with you and actually care about your progress and how you are. Kim is by far the best counselor I could’ve asked for, she is kind, caring and is the best part of CARS in my opinion. Also thw nurses there, Leah and Art work SO hard making sure everyone gets taken care of. I can’t say one bad thing about any of the counselors for that matter because they are all awesome.

A few months ago I went into Anaphylactic shock; we rushed to this hospital and man! From the front desk clerk to the doctor himself- the entire staff were quick, professional and overall just awesome! They calmed me down, helped me right away and were overall just nice. I went in to give blood prior to my appointment and was in and out rather quickly. Went in a week later for my afternoon Doctor appointment and was in and out within an hour. Dr Chandy was very thorough and friendy, as was the staff. I was quite surprised given the 3.5 reviews I read previous to my appointment, however, I don't like to assume anything without experiencing it for myself. The only thing I didn't like was waiting over a month for my appointment, but to be fair, I've also had very long wait times in the private sector, some close to two months.

I was seen by Dr Pitts and a nurse named Isabel ( I think that was her name ) anyways they were both very compassionate and very friendly. I went to this clinic because I was having fever and a shortness of breath and finding a clinic that is affordable is very difficult , I was approved at a very low cost and even had my lab work done. I have a follow up appointment in about two weeks. I’m very thankful for this place. And I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a local low cost clinic to go to.
