If I could give it -5 stars I would. I’ve been suffering for 6 months from throat irritation, hypersensitive laryngeal nerves and constant throat clearing and coughing and gagging. I’ve called and left messages numerous times, begged and pleaded for An ENT consult and traveling veterans consult several times to be seen for my throat problems. I need a NERVE BLOCK for relief of my irritated Larynx and hypersensitive nerves and Dr. Conway and his staff NEVER EVER EVER contact me. It’s week after week after week after week of waiting to be forgotten, left out and overlooked, while I’m suffering and struggling to continue life with this miserable issue, they laugh and joke and sip coffee and enjoy thier high paid salaries and brush us veterans off to the side like we’re not a priority. It takes 3 minutes to call someone, 10 minutes to put in a consult. NOTHING. It’s just Pathetic and irritating. Worst experience ever. VA is a joke

Worst VA ever. Rude. They answer phones sometimes. Instead of making appointments, they say they will leave a note with the PA. But they never call back....ever. they all need to be fired and replaced with a staff that can actually do their job.

The odyssey home is where you come and get away from everything so you can better yourself. you may not like it all while your in there but deep down you know it’s doing you better mentally and physically and showing you how strong you can be when you finish the program all the staff are great people just have the same respect you would want towards you. Everyone isn’t gonna have a perfect day every single day but you gotta focus on why your there and what you need to do so you can go back home and spent time with your family cause when you in there you start thinking about all the stuff yoh missed out with your family and how much of a privilege it is to have your family around but you don’t notice that till your in there and see how much time you been playing with your life there is a privilege for you to become great within yourself you just have to put the work in and show your family that you can make a change for once in your life. This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don’t know you need professional help until you’re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care.
I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did.
From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome.
Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. They helped me choose to do the work. Be it daily checking in, verbalizing my emotion at the time, concerns, etc, these are the things for me, that were so beneficial in my mental wellness.
Trust your gut. Don’t hesitate to get the help. If you choose The Heights Treatment, you will be in great hands.

This is from moms perspective so take with it as you will. My kids in and out of mental health facilities right now and rehab was a new pill for me to swallow. I will say the ONLY good it did was convince her these were not the kids she wanted to be around and NOT who she wanted to be. So it scares her straight in a way for that I am grateful. The NURSE and the care staff seemed amazing. They were very nice and caring people but Jose and the staff you ACTUALLY speak too are TERRIBLE! My kid got admitted on Thursday even after a complaint to corporate I didn't get our WELCOME which had the contacts for everyone until 9 days AFTER admissions. Shes already discharged and I never got our admissions paperwork that I NEVER signed. The Director was a joke and NO help. Oh, and as discharge? I got no paperwork for an excuse to school! I got no paperwork for follow up care? I got NOTHING! ON top of that when I called I was told it would be $25 to request ANY OF THE INFORMATION I NEEDED FOR THE EDUCATION MY KID WAS DOING THERE AND MEDICAL RECORDS?!?!? WHAT?!?!? The ONLY one I will say who was helpful was the Nurse who I will brag on because he was helpful and nice answering the phones even when he wasn't at work to deal with me because he was the ONLY number I even had. It was sad and HE DESERVES A RAISE!!! I doubt there are better centers but honestly it's not that hard to give out the welcome packet and admissions paperwork 🤦🤷 or email them when you say your going too... I don't think that takes a rocket scientist

The Texas House saved my life! I literally went from wanting to blow my brains out, to not seeing how life could get any better. It's a tough program with a lot of rules but that's exactly what i needed. I learned how to follow the rules, be a better dad, and clean up my heart and mind. The Texas House helped me understand it was about my attitudes and behaviors. Once I changed them, I changed my life!!! I no longer need to drink and do drugs to feel something else because I love the way I feel now! If your really tired of being sick and tired, this is the place to go.

It is unfortunate that one individual gave this place a 1 star rating - their comment clearly shows that they were rating the wrong place. They mentioned that they work as an EMT and that they were dropping off a stroke patient - but this clinic does not receive stroke patients from EMTs - they are an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinic.

I’ve been going here for serval months now and absolutely love it! The staff truly cares and listens I love hearing good morning Collin and have a great day Collin! When I come in and out from the wonderful person working behind the front desk. I’ve been to three clinics in this one. These nurses have absolutely your full attention, They listen to you they communicate with you, They truly care and I love that. Both of the nurses are just amazing so sweet and caring and very well trained in the field of work! The doctor is The Coolest guy I’ve ever met lol. Very laid-back but listens to you is and your needs and is very open not all crazy strict. Great guy and a great doctor! And of course, the counselors I love them. My counselor is amazing. She’s a veteran just like me and we get along just great. She’s perfect. And there’s always this other counselor always tells me to have a great day with a wonderful smile. And I don’t know Just makes me feel really good. I would give this place 10 stars If I could!! If your looking for Suboxone or Methadone maintenance treatment look no further this is your place to go to trust me. I have been in Methadone maintenance clinics since 2018 and this is the best one I’ve ever experienced. I’m sober and never felt better in my life! 😇😊

I promise this is the best clinic around. They are definitely the most flexible in terms of b.s. administrative bureaucracy. When I was going there you could pop for thc on your u.a. and still be counted as clean. Only place I know of that does that. All the situations described in the negative reviews could have easily been prevented with a tiny bit of forethought and planning ahead. If I was new or a guest, I'd at least make a phone call before arriving to find out specifics. All I see is lazy addicts ripping on perfectly good people because they were barred from treatment for non-payment. Same people probably always there on Saturdays at 6am

Bellair behavior Hospital, although not perfect, is a good hospital. Given the nature of the illnesses that they deal with, they have a difficult job. The therapist and counselor Claudia is absolutely awesome! She is extremely professional, caring, and good at her job. She cares About the patients that she takes care of and has solid advice. Very grateful for the care that she was able to give my family member.

If Unlimited Visions Aftercare did not exist, my son wouldn’t be alive today. My son overdosed while at this facility and they immediately started life support. They called me while I was at work, facilitated him an ambulance ride that got him to Texas Children’s Hospital. Had this place not existed, I would’ve found my teenage son dead at home after work that day.
Also my son was a unique case, he was kicked out of some of the bigger name rehabs and we were running out of options for help. When we were out of options, Unlimited Visions was the only place there to help. For that I am forever grateful.
As for the negative comments I am seeing. This place may not have the biggest funding, budget or greatest marketing. But I thank God it exists in my community, because I know for sure it saved one life.

So full discloser. I came to The Post Oak club to post info on my sober house. I came in to promote myself and while I was here I was filled with a positive energy that I cannot explain. This place is so calming and inviting. I really don’t want to leave. I have never entered an AA facility and felt such warmness. I have left many and felt amazing. But this place makes you feel amazing when you walk in the door. The coffee and Stephanie made my week.

This treatment center was amazing. The counselors and aftercare coordinators where very helpful in my recovery journey. A good environment to reset and learn what a healthy recovery will be. Food was good and lodging was comfortable. Would highly recommend. For anyone considering this you will not have your phone and your communication with outside people will be limited until closer to your discharge from the program. Don't let this discourage you. It is worth it.

I was a patient in the adult IOP program at Discovery Mood & Anxiety for about 3 months. When I say this place, and its therapists, saved my life, I'm not exaggerating. When I was admitted, I probably should've been hospitalized rather than in outpatient, but my circumstances wouldn't allow for me to put my life on hold to get better without losing everything. The team at this facility were very understanding and supportive of this decision, and they worked with me diligently to make sure that I didn't experience a lack of care.
While both of the therapists here are fantastic, I specifically want to call out Jae Barlow. She was nothing short of a tremendous help to me, and she was one of the most relatable and compassionate therapists I've ever met. I will forever be grateful for the care I received in this facility, not just from the staff, but from the other patients, as well. There was never a time when I felt unwelcome or unsupported. Everyone is there to heal, and it shows.
If you feel like you need that extra level of mental health care like I did, I definitely recommend this place. It's too easy to find facilities that feel cold and lack compassion, but this place was anything but that.
