Yeah sure there are some really great things to report about this place until you find out how fake the smiles are. Not all staff or counselors are fake or maybe they are. After my successful completion of program, I found that my property was poorly handled and damaged WITHOUT ANY REGARD, WITHOUT ANY APOLOGIES but this is a place that lectures about taking accountability. The person in charge of appointment setting and other extremely important affairs that involve the well being and livelihood of “clients” is totally unorganized. Her name is Angela and she makes constant mistakes that negatively affect the “clients” initial potential for appropriate order. Angela is very ignorant when it comes to managing anything and never seems to take any self accountability or apology. When my damaged property was handed to me, she just turned a blind eye and ignored it. It’s just the way it was handled that adds insult to injury. With having the audacity to refer to us as “clients” is completely fraudulent because of its definition. Another counselor assured me that I would have “plenty of my medication” upon my successful exit and I left with an empty pill bottle so I expect to soon be experiencing an episode of psychosis any minute now. There are several other unethical practices being used here but I would have to make in into a manifesto so I’m saving that information for the email that I’ll be composing to SCAN and the higher chain of command there. For the record, I’m not the only “client” displeased with the unorganized and carelessness that takes place, at least 65% of the other “clients” I had experience with there are also displeased. I just care enough to speak up about it. The absolute worst of it was the way they treated me and my successful completion. That’s when I was made to feel like a number instead of a person. Did I have personal struggles when I first arrived? Well sure, what drug addict wouldn’t. However I can honestly say I did gain productivity and improvements and I’ll give credit where credit is due every time it’s due, but I’ll also be completely honest about the areas that lack any quality in care and the phony attitudes and carelessness of people like Angela (other staff or counselors I give 3 stars are not as needed to emphasize using their names but ultimately I am displeased over all) But after being treated like that and without any “compassion” I can only wonder who else is fake frauds… ya know what I mean?
