In 2011 I went through treatment twice in one summer. The 1st time I completed it but wasn't committed and was back the next month. The 2nd time I was all in and worked the program to the fullest. I was clean for 12 years. I also had 3 family members who attended the treatment center and were a success. This place was awesome. However, after 12 years, I recently had a 2 yr relapse and decided I needed help. I knew the place to go. The only problem is I called and called and called and any number I could find apparently was not Summer Sky or it appeared it no longer existed (even through Facebook). This was so disappointing. I chose a different place closer to home and left early during the detox phase because I needed the structure that Summer Sky provided at that time. Not sure what is going on but if there is a next time for me, I sure hope there is a better way to contact them.

HOPE gives you the tools to understand your addiction. It works if you work it, and it won’t if you don’t. Many years ago it worked for me. If you see a bad review on here, what you’re really seeing is a bitter addict unwilling to be honest with themselves and do the work.

I came here for my recovery, and at first I would say that I didnt like it, but that was making excuses for myself. But I stayed and graduated, this place tought me to learn patience and roll with changes that can come up in real life and not have to turn to drugs. Now im a peerlead helping others in the community to see the bright side of things and fight those urges we all get. This is hard thing to do alone, but if u build a community it becomes easier. They treat you with genuine care, compassion, and patience, even on the days when you struggle to believe in yourself.
I’m still learning, growing, and working through things — recovery is not always easy. But being here has given me real tools and real hope. Every therapist, tech, and counselor puts in the effort to help you understand what you’re going through and how to move forward in a healthier way. They celebrate the small victories with you and help you stay strong through the setbacks.
The environment feels safe and supportive — the groups are meaningful, the activities help you reconnect with life, and the structure gives you stability. I’ve met people here who remind me that I’m not alone in this journey, and that has made such a difference.

Greenhouse has truly saved/changed my life and rewired my way of thinking. The classes were extremely impactful, filled with knowledgeable information, and kept me in a solid routine everyday. I visited the Dallas VA Medical Center Emergency Department and received excellent care from the moment I arrived. The staff was professional, attentive, and efficient throughout my visit.
The team explained everything clearly, ensured I understood my care plan, and made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The facility itself was clean, modern, and one of the nicest VA locations I’ve been to.

As of now there’s only 1 nurse working & she’s doing a great job! The rest of the staff is great aswell and have always been very helpful if I’ve ever needed anything. To the one nurse that’s by herself, I feel bad for her but she’s doing what she can to make sure everyone gets taken care of & she’s doing an awesome job of it.

I absolutely love this clinic. They are so nice. This clinic has done everything possible to make the closing of my old clinic 4 yrs ago, so it was seemless and easy. I have stayed because I am completely comfortable. The counselors are so wonderful and nice. The cost is typical. They are even accepting Medicaid and Medicare. I am so happy I was able to transfer. I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. I will forever be in debt to what this program gave me during the most formative year of my life. Lighthouse is one of very few places where every staff member truly just wants to see you succeed. Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person.
Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support.
I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. I am 6 months in fighting a battle with Kratom. I called Symetria 6 months ago and the next morning I was in the office in Arlington. When I walked in I was a mess, crying and scared. They took me in and helped me right away and took their time with me and the process was so easy to get started. I cannot tell you how much better I felt that day walking out of there. I am doing more than great because of myself and the team in Arlington- David, Misty, Kari, Anita and the docs are so patient and really care. Sante has taught me the tools I need to have a great recovery. The staff cares and goes above and beyond for the patients there. I’ve been bringing my son here since January, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. We consistently spend more time in the waiting room than in the actual appointment. I was never informed that this was a virtual-only setup, and the sessions feel more like quick medication check-ins rather than actual therapy. There’s been no guidance or tools offered to help me support my child in managing his ADHD.
It’s also extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. It took an unreasonable amount of time just to receive a simple letter confirming his ADHD diagnosis for the school. When I try to reschedule, I’m told to “do a walk-in,” but given how behind appointments usually are, I don’t feel confident that would be handled any better.
Now, my son is on a prescribed medication that cannot be stopped abruptly due to the severe side effects it causes when missed, and I can’t get anyone on the phone to schedule his refill appointment. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when it involves a child’s mental health and well-being.

I had an amazing experience with NP Ubabuco. I recently moved from Florida and attended an IOP program under the care of a psychiatrist. I didn’t agree with prior diagnoses and we discussed why I felt that way and NP Unabuco was able to give his input on what possibly led to those diagnoses. For the first time in my mental health journey I felt heard. I am excited to continue and feel that I am in the best place for care. Staff were extremely helpful as well. 10/10 ✨

Nexus definitely gave me a place to educate and regulate myself daily. I gained many friends and have been touched by staff members such as Lauren, Jasmine, Tristan, Ms.Millie, Stephanie, Isabelle,Mrs.Tammy, and Chad, in ways I will carry with me in lifelong memories. Nexus gave me to the tools I needed in my empty toolbox to allow me to turn the waterfall of sobriety into the stream of recovery. There were a few hiccups in my stay there which is why I will only give 4 stars today. I am genuinely grateful and happy that I went to Nexus and was able to grasp ahold of the horns of courage, the wings of serenity, and the strength of wisdom. I would recommend this place for anyone who is serious about staying sober and has the capacity for tolerance and patience.
