Dr Brown is amazing but the person that took my vitals was great to. She had a smile on her face and showed her care for me but so did Dr. Brown. I have gotten more from my 2 visits with her than I had with my previous Psychiatrist. Even when I checked in and checked out your staff was great. What an incredible, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome place and community this place is! I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. They are #1 in my book and again I cannot give them enough thanks and praise for everything they’ve done for me!

First impressions: First thing I noticed was the positive energy emanating from various staff members. Everybody seemed HAPPY to be at work (about 4-5 staff members). That's always a good sign of a good work space. Second was a very low adult:teen ratio (many adults to few teens) which let me know there is very little chance for missteps with resident whereabouts; and as an added bonus, there were zero adults using cell phones! Third and most important was the professionalism and knowledge of the young and thorough intake officer D'Mani. She spoke with such mastery and courtesy and reassurance, that I could actually exhale at the notion of leaving my most precious part of me here-alone, that is, without a family member. At this initial visit I feel confident that my family member will leave this facility emotionally and psychologically better than when he arrived✝️.

The odyssey home is where you come and get away from everything so you can better yourself. you may not like it all while your in there but deep down you know it’s doing you better mentally and physically and showing you how strong you can be when you finish the program all the staff are great people just have the same respect you would want towards you. Everyone isn’t gonna have a perfect day every single day but you gotta focus on why your there and what you need to do so you can go back home and spent time with your family cause when you in there you start thinking about all the stuff yoh missed out with your family and how much of a privilege it is to have your family around but you don’t notice that till your in there and see how much time you been playing with your life there is a privilege for you to become great within yourself you just have to put the work in and show your family that you can make a change for once in your life. Even the techs were so helpful n friendly i went in on 7-23-23 everything was good towards the end i got a couch how lucky was i to get couch AUTUMN ha she talked about my pants not being fancy enough for community saying i wasnt serious that I don’t want to b sober ( hint I was in rehab willingly) n basically ignored me wouldn’t help me get help with anything literally SHE DID NOTHING for me n the day I graduated im all proud n happy she walks up to me says “ im not gunna b ur couch, u don’t want this ur no hope bye “ I told the lady in charge she said “ she has to it’s to late , o well just go ask another couch “ other couches had already left or said they were full so while Santa Maria was great couch AUTUMN shouldn’t b a couch if that’s how she thinks while Santa Maria was setting me up for greatness the one person that’s supposed to b ur support on the outside tryed to set me up for failure n Santa Maria as a whole don’t need her mentality in a place like that ur supposed to couch help not tear us down

If you’re searching for recovery and a way out of your drug addiction, I highly recommend this place. It changed my life once again. I was there in 2020 and then returned again in 2026 after I had relapsed. This is a very good recovery based program and it works great for those who are really seeking away out of drug addiction. Very good place to get help at. The staff is all friendly and treat you like family. The only thing I think they need to work on is having a better system in place for med line but other then that I really enjoyed this place. Hopefully I won't have to go back but if ever have to this is the place I will go to

I LOVE this place. I've been to many other recovery centers and this one is by far the best one I've been to. The therapy and counseling is on point, no bs and no beating around the bush. Every time I went to group, the sessions got very deep, and that is exactly what a person with any addiction needs. Not only that, the staff treat you very kindly and are always open to support you. Also, the food is AMAZING. They have a chef that prepares 3 REAL meals a day and is always a different meal (who wouldn't want that?!). There are many things to do for closure too, like games and movie nights. If you are worried about detox, the nurses will fix you right up. This place has been very helpful and fun too, so I really do recommend Taylor Recovery if you are looking for just the right place.

I can’t say enough great things about this facility and the entire staff. From day one, everyone made me feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. I was especially lucky to find a treatment center that accepts pets — if they hadn’t, I honestly wouldn’t have been able to come to treatment. That meant everything to me. A huge shout out to my counselor, Ms. Kim Isaac. She went above and beyond to help me through one of the hardest times in my life. I went to Bay Area Recovery for SOP, I learned and grew so much within a span of 3 months. Erin and Jerry are AMAZING! They really helped me understand the whole concept of this problem. This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. Even after completing the program, I don’t feel alone. That sense of community is so strong that I’ve chosen to stay in the area and continue building my life here. Today, I’m 60 days sober. My mind is still clearing, but I feel something I haven’t felt in a long time—hope. This place didn’t just help me get sober. It helped save my life. This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don’t know you need professional help until you’re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care. I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did. From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome. Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. They helped me choose to do the work. Be it daily checking in, verbalizing my emotion at the time, concerns, etc, these are the things for me, that were so beneficial in my mental wellness. Heights Treatment was a Godsend and it saved my life. I love how unique each therapist is. They have a wide variety of therapies including equine therapy, emdr, trauma processing, as well as individual and group therapy. Scheduling was easy, the staff was kind and were always available for me when I needed to talk.
