Dr Brown is amazing but the person that took my vitals was great to. She had a smile on her face and showed her care for me but so did Dr. Brown. I have gotten more from my 2 visits with her than I had with my previous Psychiatrist. Even when I checked in and checked out your staff was great. My daughter was recently admitted and I’m so hopeful she will have a positive and life changing experience here. I’ve heard this place has good vibes and helpful staff. I believe she’s in great hands and am excited for her future now that she’s getting some fundamental assistance. I LOVE this place. I've been to many other recovery centers and this one is by far the best one I've been to. The therapy and counseling is on point, no bs and no beating around the bush. Every time I went to group, the sessions got very deep, and that is exactly what a person with any addiction needs. Not only that, the staff treat you very kindly and are always open to support you. Also, the food is AMAZING. They have a chef that prepares 3 REAL meals a day and is always a different meal (who wouldn't want that?!). There are many things to do for closure too, like games and movie nights. If you are worried about detox, the nurses will fix you right up. This place has been very helpful and fun too, so I really do recommend Taylor Recovery if you are looking for just the right place.

I can’t say enough great things about this facility and the entire staff. From day one, everyone made me feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. I was especially lucky to find a treatment center that accepts pets — if they hadn’t, I honestly wouldn’t have been able to come to treatment. That meant everything to me. This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don’t know you need professional help until you’re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care. I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did. From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome. Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. Heights Treatment was a Godsend and it saved my life. I love how unique each therapist is. They have a wide variety of therapies including equine therapy, emdr, trauma processing, as well as individual and group therapy. Scheduling was easy, the staff was kind and were always available for me when I needed to talk. I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I'd recommend to anyone I know. they stick to the values they have but greatly exceed them. they truly love their clients... now I'm a changed man and can chase my dreams to the fullest. I went to inpatient at Menninger on the 27th of march and came out a week later. My sleep is amazing, my anxiety has been HEALED. My diagnosis was reached in a matter of 5 days and I had a team of personal psychiatrists and doctors attending to my mental and physical health. Amazing experience and I left inpatient missing it and wanting to go back. I’m doing PHP now and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Dr Lin and Dr wolfenburger were absolutely incredible and very well rounded individuals who knew what they were doing. I heard just horrible things about Dr Limmons though. There had been multiple patient advocate calls made against her. So stay out of her way. You will get better here no matter what happens. everything at Menninger was designed for you and you alone, for your journey, for your physical health, for everything. thank you Menninger. Thank you

(i went to the kids unit for 3 weeks and just left yesterday, im 16!!) this place is genuinely so amazing, the people who work there are all such sweethearts and i'm gonna miss them so so much :( i came in extremely suicidal and i had self harmed so many times before i came, but i left with actual hope and excitement to keep going in life. it's not just a mental hospital, it's a place where you meet extremely interesting people to relate to and heal/stay safe from whatever you're going through. it didn't fix me, but it made me stable and confident in my future and mental health/stability. my heart goes out to all of the staff and the other patients i met, love you guys so much!!!!!! i'll miss you guys :(( (especially mr orion, jarvis, anjali, taty, amanda, larry, etc etc bc there's so many lol)

I promise this is the best clinic around. They are definitely the most flexible in terms of b.s. administrative bureaucracy. When I was going there you could pop for thc on your u.a. and still be counted as clean. Only place I know of that does that. All the situations described in the negative reviews could have easily been prevented with a tiny bit of forethought and planning ahead. If I was new or a guest, I'd at least make a phone call before arriving to find out specifics. All I see is lazy addicts ripping on perfectly good people because they were barred from treatment for non-payment. Same people probably always there on Saturdays at 6am
