Ms. Jaline and Ms. Abmer are truly remarkable individuals. I personally struggled with sobriety for a long time and have explored other recovery programs in the past. However, their program was the key to my sustained success. They have walked this path themselves and deeply understand the challenges and Wins of recovery. They have an empathetic understanding that extends beyond mere knowledge. The journey is undoubtedly demanding, with its share of highs and lows. Yet, their constant support is present. It's difficult to fully explain the profound impact of their program until you've experienced it firsthand. But I urge you to take that leap of faith – you will not regret it. I wholeheartedly recommend their program to anyone grappling with addiction...

I was part of the outpatient services in Orange. When I went to the program I thought I was going to be able to fake it through like I did everything else. I went in there not wanting to clean but needing to. And I tried to pull the sheets over their eyes and they could see straight through it because they are recovering addicts their self there so they know how to pull a sheet over their face as well. Miss jaelene Miss Amber and Miss Melissa because of the programs and the support in the programs in the support that you can get outside of the programs with your counselor is awesome Miss jaylene was really there for me as a counselor a lot. I just celebrated 3 years of sobriety that I actually wantedand not forced to have. I'm now at ABC trade school I graduate in March I got my nccer I got my TWIC card. I was able to do all that through Marshall Rivera which is another person who I met through the recovery council personnel. 1000% I wouldn't be where I'm at today and I wouldn't have who I have today in my corner. I don't know where I would be in the streets being a productive member of society and a responsible parent. I've been out the program for 2 years I still keep in contact with them they're great support. Everyone in this building really does care and really will bend over backwards for you if your serious about getting sober

Lies, isolation, and neglect. My sibling is locked up in that place under court order and the whole thing is fishy. I can't get any straight answers, even though I am his caregiver and he is mentally ill. First, they would not confirm he was even there, and lied to me when they said they would share my name and number with him the first day he was there (twice!). I was worried sick not knowing his condition or even for sure if he was there. Now multiple days have passed. He did not get his court meeting as promised and has to stay through the weekend. The doctor gets angry and frustrated with him and tries to withhold his meds in retaliation. They have taken away ALL his psych meds, reduced his hypertension meds (the numbers even the bottom one, had been in the triple digits), and threatened to take away his seizure meds. I cannot speak to them about him because they claimed that he did not sign over the paperwork. Lies or negligence! Yes he did sign those papers. So he signed it again today. This is grossly negligent and dangerous. This place is already short-staffed and overcrowded. I worry for my brother's safety. Bad place, isolating the helpless from their family - the closest support system they have. I can't say enough about the untoward experiences that we both have had dealing with these people.

Bay Area Women’s Recovery Center is straight-up the reason I’m alive today. This place didn’t just help me get clean — it rebuilt me. I walked in broken, lost, and tired. I walked out stronger, loved, supported, and finally believing in myself again. The staff here don’t just do their jobs — they pour their hearts into every woman who walks through the door. They gave me strength when I had none, love when I couldn’t love myself, and a community that still has my back long after treatment. If you’re looking for a place that actually cares, that fights for you, that reminds you who you really are — this is it. Bay Area Women’s Recovery Center saved my life, and I’ll forever be grateful.

I wasn't there for long, but I can see the good this place does for people. I left due to inner conflictions of faith, but that wouldn't be the case with the vast majority of people who come here. I would recommend to 99% of people who have addiction issues, as this place is a hidden haven for those who need it the most. I appreciated a lot of the staff. The fact that all of them used to go here at one point gives another element that adds to the success of this place. Appreciate the willingness to help and to accept anyone no matter who they are. Thank you, kindly.

I went through the Bay Area Recovery Center, and it completely changed my life. After getting a DUI, I was required to go through this program to keep my job — but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I’ve now been clean and sober for almost 10 months. The staff truly care and helped me believe in myself again. A huge thank you to Mr. Billy and Blake and everyone there for guiding me through my recovery. My DUI was recently dismissed, and I believe it’s because God saw the change in me. My wife and kids thank you too — you didn’t just help me, you helped restore my family. If you’re struggling, I highly recommend this program. It gave me my life back. F. Riley

I've been a client at Texas Clinic for almost two years. While the majority of my experiences with the staff have been positive and helpful with my best interest as the focus of our attention, the morning of Oct. 17, 2025, unfortunately gave me a glimpse into the face of corruption and deciet that are at the heart of the worlds problem. Jose, is an employee at the clinic though his title or function is unknown, he facilitates the morning ritual of dosing by standing around keeping tabs on the routine, making sure things are conducted in occordance with policy and customs. On the morning I have mentioned, I was charging a power bank after I had dosed, minding my own business not bothering anyone except Jose. Not that I was doing anything to provoke or irritate him intentionally, however he came up to me and asked," how much longer do you have to charge your phone?" I looked at him and replied one more dot. Then I asked Why. He then replied that the big boss had told him to come tell me something. A blatent and deliberate lie, spoken out of fear that he may loose his false sense of control over the situation if he was honest and said that he personally had a problem with me being there doing what I was doing. At which time I confronted him and told him he was lieing, and that unless he could be honest with me not to speak to me at all. He then rushed outside to fetch his trusted security officer and hyped the situation up by stating another lie. He said I was refusing to leave. I laughed and informed the office that I had no problem going, my problem was with the fact that I had caught him lieing to benefit his desire. The officer told me that he represented the business and I had to listen to him. I then objected on the bases that dishonesty in business nullifys my obligations as well as any authority the lier may or may not have. I told Jose, as I was walking away not to speak with me if he couldn't help but lie. His reply was," I don't have to tell you the truth." Now that statement has me questioning everything I thought I felt about the clinic. My reasoning is that if the clinic allows a staff to tell a patient that and do nothing, what does that say for the management? So just know that if you are considering Tx Clinic, remember that Jose, is a control freak that is threatened by anyone that has the mind enough to challenge the narrative he makes up on the fly. I am waiting now to see if they will try to kick me out of the program for this post. If they do, I will surely let you know to keep those considering the program safe from future retaliation if any issues arise after your enrollment. I know of several others that Jose, has singled out and targeted for harassment. So just know that sometimes, often all the time, the people that work at these places often have issues that require the inner will to correct the error of their ways yet because they feel in authority, this change seldom arrives, and they compound the problem by mixing from one patient to another telling lie upon lie. Maybe 3I Atlas can help us all. I have included an image taken from the monitoring system on Mars as it traveled pass the planet. It is a most enlightened image, one no resistance can deny. Clearly the game has changed. Truth is both crucial and demanded from this day onward. Trust there are eyes and ears monitoring everything and just maybe we shall have to answer for simple deciet when spoken to benefit the one telling it. I wish you all success and the strength and dedication to change your life for the better.

The most amazing staff, people who care and doctors that care. My number one concern was the judgment being only 22…but there was no judgment from anyone, when I walked in they made me feel like family! This clinic genuinely just want to see you survive and give you tools to live a better life. I could not recommend this place more….its all government funded and if you can’t get it covered because you have insurance self pay is only 100$ a week. When other places wanted to charge me almost 600$ a week…these people save lives!

The dosing nurses Taylor, Olivia, Lexi & Ruth are all both professional & personable, kind & caring, nice & helpful too! Nancy the "Boss" who runs everything at the front desk has the nicest and most welcoming smile ever, not to mention the most genuine and thoughtful person, truly! And now my counselor , Mr. Richard, he keeps me in line & focused on my treatment plan, thank goodness because even though I'm scatterbrained he is on point! I can't forget to mention Jose, who really is awesome, just don't mess with him when he's drinking his coffee, lol, just kidding. But I'm serious about the entire crew or should I say family because that's what they've become to me, my Texas Clinic family! Thanks guys for all you do!

My niece was recently receiving services here, and all I have to say is Wow! Whoever is in charge of therapy for teens has left a solid impact on my niece s life. For the past month I have seen improvement and have heard nothing but positive comments from her in regards to the therapy she received at this location. A bonus is the receptionist at the front! She was so welcoming!

The Harris County Psychiatric Center is a 274 bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Houston, Texas. They offer psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults. Very good to my son. They left no stone unturned to help him and provide resources. Involved family in treatment process and determining mental status, as they know the patient the best. Included family and patient for the best outcome instead of just throwing him back in the streets before he was ready. This is a deeply personal and stressful situation when you have a family member having a mental health crises. I work in healthcare and I have to say I was very impressed with the physicians, social workers, and all other staff. They truly care . Thank you.

It was actually alright I guess. I think their goal is to stabilize you and get you discharged to outpatient care as quickly as possible., I was expected to take care of myself (I changed my own linens frequently, made my own bed, was expected to remember the clothes washing process, was not reminded for hygiene practices, had to speak up anytime when speaking to or making a request with a nurse or tech) which sucked considering I was not admitted with my medications in hand, which if I had those that wouldn't have been an issue. If you have the precious opportunity to prepare, bring all of your current medications with you. I didn't have my identification on me, they still took me in though, thank God. My family struggled to keep up with where they were taking me during processing and stuff since they couldn’t access very much information without my consent due to HIPAA protections, and I didn’t fully understand that at the time. I did consent though, it was just my first time being processed like that so I really didn't know what was going on or what was expected of me. The nurses and doctors I recall did explain as much as possible to me, but I did not ask probing questions about my treatment and mostly experienced it, my mom and dad knew how to ask probing questions regarding treatment whereas I did not. There's a significant difference in approach. Everyone was really nice though, I only ever experienced friction from the other patients (uncommon, but people are people), even then it was all okay, I trusted the staff to step in if it got too bad, plus there was the isolation room if I really didn't feel safe which I thankfully never had to use. Be kind to the staff handling you and you should be comfortable in knowing to expect that treatment back. Enrichment outside features: Basketball, a football (if it can be found), a very nice path to walk that totally isn't bait for runners (anyone who sees the corner will know what I mean, just don't do that though), and a gazebo that genuinely at the time of writing this needs wasp spray inside the top. It was a bit scary laying down in there and seeing all of the wasps. On days where outside enrichment is doubled, there is a secondary building where you can color pictures with marker, listen to music, play board and tabletop games, and a separate wing with a basketball court. The building was unfortunately extremely cold in the connecting hallway, but the enrichment chambers were warm enough. If you end up in HCPC and are lucky enough to have visiting family, ask for something warm to wear (within regulation of course). Enrichment inside is far more limited, again, if you have family, do request something for yourself. A book if you have the attention span to read. There is a TV that for half the day plays music, and from the afternoon-on plays movies and television shows. Don't be afraid to ask to change the channel, but consort with your fellow patients first was the rule of thumb. There's also UNO which was fun to play, dominoes, coloring sheets and crayons, three meals a day, and your bed. Seriously, don't underestimate the power of the bed. The food is pretty good, too. Except the cucumbers which I found icky but they can't seriously account for personal taste unless you have a food allergy or dietary restrictions. These aren't exactly therapeutic activities, but help you to bond with your ward-mates and pass the time. It is quite loud inside, but you can ask for earplugs at the front desk. Staff have to shut doors firmly (which may be percieved as "slamming" doors) to secure them which is disruptive. They don't tend to do this after curfew as far as I can remember, but it is worth noting in this review. I was extremely lucky to have family involved and the help of the social workers assigned to our wing that helped me make sense of everything. Shoutouts go for II-C, if you see this then you probably remember me still but you did amazing for working with pretty much nothing at all. Sincerely, thank you.

Dr. Khan is superb. She is empathetic, wise and very knowledgeable in her field. She does not look at a clock for session timing (there is no clock in her office). She makes patients feel comfortable and able to discuss whatever is of underlying concern. She even has Saturday session which is excellent for someone who works full time and can't escape the office. I highly recommend her.
