This facility is caring. The staff listens and the doctors or PA's are incredible. I have been coming here a lot of years. They have not let me down. I really don't know what I would have done without Burke. Probably travelled a lot of miles and not received the help that I needed. My case worker is the BEST. I've been her client for 15 yrs. She has always been there for me. Thank y'all.

Hey! I am so thankful this has been a place of refuge for my socioeconomical and domestic violence problems I have two protective orders on two parties to leave me alone. I have had a past of bad boyfriends and their narcissistic friends who have lied to me and stolen from me and looked past really simple health issues which fogged me up really bad for a long time. I mean I almost died at least once or twice as a young child and have found some really bad deals growing up along the way. Wow! Keeping my own beliefs and trying to keep the enemy away and out of my mind body spirit has not been easy as a middle aged woman.
Burke is alright. I am grateful for them, but I don't like it when they change my appointments when I rely on the city bus or Uber, etc.
No I am not the one too good for the five dollar bus vouchers.

Well at 40 I have to admit as a patient there at Burke I honestly had a recent problem with missing an appointment and rescheduling myself, so there is the humanity I have! Today Feb 18, 2022 was a wonderful day to visit Burke, Hearts for the Homeless was there. It is always good to see them. They made me my sugar cookies I love so much ❤️ with colored frosting and sugar sprinkles.

My son has been there since September 2024. Diagnosed with schizophrenia this is an amazing hospital.Social Sorker calls me monthly with updates .notifies me when his meds change, and reason they changed. His Social Worker is amazing answers all questions always returns all calls. All my visits are very nice from Guard Shack to all employees.They keep the patient busy with Movies , snacks etc . I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place helped me reset without falling behind in school. The outpatient schedule worked with my classes, and being around others my age made things less awkward. Some groups felt repetitive, but I still got a lot from it.

Honestly I didn’t expect to feel heard here but the IOP track actually worked for my schedule. The groups weren’t all perfect, but I did connect with people my age and learned how to say no without feeling weird. Super glad I went.

I came to Cenikor in pieces after losing my husband and struggling with the bottle. At 67, I wasn’t sure a place like this could really understand someone my age. But they did. The staff treated me with kindness, and the detox was slow and gentle, which I needed. Some days felt long, and group sessions were hit or miss, but I found comfort in other women like me. I wish there was more grief support, but overall it helped me feel human again.

I have had the best experience a mother could hope for at a treatment center. My daughter is healthy, happy and moving on to sober living. My son attended court ordered treatment centers without results. Cenikor is different. Counseling is one on one and the people are kind and helpful. Also, extremely honest and resourceful.

I entered CADA March 30, 2017, I was completely out of hope, and full of despair, the only solution I thought I had was suicide. My drinking, and drug use took me to a place of desperation. I could not stay sober, but I could not quit using. I went 20 plus years of suffering. The only coping mechanism I had, for every emotion, was to change the was I felt with drugs, and alcohol. When I was sad, I used, when I was happy, I used. My life revolved around when I would get my next bottle, or find my next high. I lied, cheated, and stole, whatever it took to get my drug of choice. I destroyed my family, and friends. I was like a hurricane in people I loved lives. I saw only darkness.
In CADA, I learned tools, coping mechanisms, of how to deal with life, on life's terms, without alcohol, and drugs. I gained a new sense of self worth. I started to recover from a disease that had already taken so many I loved, including my mother.
CADA took another chance on me 6 months into my recovery. I was hired as part of the support staff. I continued to learn and grow, in the place that saved my life. Three, and half years later, I am now part of the Peer Support Team, giving back, what was given to me.
One of my favorite quotes is, "It is always darkest before the dawn." CADA gave me my dawn.

My 16 year old daughter was on a path of destruction. She had been trying to stop the addictive behaviors on her own but ended up self medicating because of the stress from trying to stop. Her grades were suffering at school and she was pulling away from family. She ran away which was the last straw. We took her to Sundown Ranch and we are very grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Echols and all of the staff & counselors. The staff truly care about the residents. My daughter has returned home and is transitioning into life at home. I don't believe that she would have been as successful if she had not gone to Sundown Ranch.

My daughter has been in and out of hospitals/rehab for the last 5 years, and this is the first place that saw through her "fake it to make it" bs and really worked on why she is so unhappy.
I can't tell you the difference I have seen in my daughter! They really help the "whole" self and push the kids to go past their walls.
The counselors are the best I have ever encountered. They can really tell who is BSing or not, and help them feel safe in telling what is really in their mind without felling like they are going to be judged.
The ROPES program they have also is great for kids that do not have any confidence or trust anyone. My daughter started off slowly, but is now really working on her trust issues due to ROPES and the counselors follow up after ROPES.
The parent weekends once a month are in my mind essential to helping the parents learn more about the diseases of addiction/psych problems, and trying to see it through your child's eyes.

Me and my mom came here every morning at 4-5:30 am she would be close to the front of the line her name was DEL LANGHELD SHE started around year 2000 or 2001 until she passed away in 2015 this clinic was amazing to he if sick they would dose at car if she couldn't come in or something we were there for a long time i hope they continue to do great work even though i live in Denver now and go to Denver methadone clinic my self i still miss coming there every morning
