I can't express enough how AMAZING this hospital is. From Chelsea at er registration, to the sweet nurses in the er. Dr Jefferson. The nursing staff in the admission rooms upstairs. My husband got very lucky. Had blood clots in his legs and lungs and they immediately caught it. Got him tests, scans, IVs, pic lines, ultra sounds within MINUTES and we walked in through the ER doors. No waiting. No going without updates. I am blown away at the kindness, urgency, RESPECT, (he is overweight and was very shy, they never ever made us feel bad or like a burden) intelligence of the entire staff, and over all experience here. They made sure we both ate. Were comfortable. We didn't need or want for anything our entire stay. I will never again go anywhere else in a crisis. Thank you so so so much elk City hospital. You saved my husband, gave me and our family peace of mind and so much love and support.

The whole crew ( Betty, Tammy, Crystal and Dr. Perez) is very respectful and understanding even when some of us can be a little moody as we go in there. I can assure you that they will do everything in their power that the VA says they can do for you and if they don't, then you probably messed up somewhere. So this place is not great but the only reason I am rating is this high is the nurse or doctor I’m not sure that saw me this morning Mendy Corter! She helped me so much I was seen Friday and they basically just brushed me aside did no testing didn’t even check my bp. Didn’t do a chest X-ray nothing.. well I went back today because I wasn’t any better and turns out I have pneumonia my lungs and trashed and she was mad that the last doc that saw me didn’t bother to check me out! Well 2 breathing treatments and two shots in my butt later and they had me feeling a little better sent me home with so antibiotics and an inhaler to make sure I got better!! Thank you so much Mendy Corter you helped make me feel better and didn’t make me feel like I was overreacting and being dramatic!

I had difficulty initially because I assumed I would be prescribed medication right away. I had to wait 3 months for a provider visit, so, in the meantime, I explained to my PCP and was able to get a few safe medications while waiting. I got into a therapist who has helped me beyond measure and is extremely good at her job. All of the staff I have encountered have been polite, nonjudgmental, professional, and helpful to my mental health journey. I have not had one single bad experience in the past year of going there 2-3 times a month (excluding the obvious difficult but necessary stuff) They have resources to help you in so many capacities and I encourage those who can be patient to give them the opportunity to be helpful.

Valley Hope has changed my life. I went from isolation in a motel room doing drugs, to being a productive citizen. I’ve been sober 54 days today and a huge part is because of Valley Hope. A family member recently completed the recovery program at Country Road Recovery Center, and I cannot say enough good things about them. He had dealt with addiction for many years. In terms of being in the program, he recently said "It was the best things I've ever done and I wish I had done it sooner". When he completed the program, they helped him with placement in a sober living house and arranged for his attendance in an intensive outpatient program. They care about their patients. I went to dove tree, in Lubbock, Tx broken and very lost. Mentally, emotionally, and physically lost. They helped me get back on my feet again and have helped me gain more confidence in myself. I have to say that I was impressed by everyone that had a hand in my daughter’s procedure yesterday. From the sweet lady that checked her in, to the nurses who took care of her. Bethany is a wonderful asset to this hospital. I know that God put her there for that occasion. Dr. Law is very informative before and after the procedure. I would love to get the word about how wonderful my pulmonologist is. Her name is Dr Alapati. She has gone way above and beyond for me. I found out I had lung cancer and she made sure I had all the appointments I needed. She helped with saving my life. I’ve been scared and stressed but she has been there with me the whole time. Friendly staff, with an awesome program! Went to visit family and they were real patient and helpful. Facility was clean and unbelievably quiet! Everyone spoke in passing and assured I'd been helped! Seems like a great place, with a dearth of resources available

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

I love the dccca family! From the inpatient staff, the outpatient staff, the child care people to the dccca family Preservation people they are all amazing! AND A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF! the food is to die for! At dccca you become one big happy family I enjoyed every minute my kids and I where there I would do it ALLL OVER AGAIN! I feel so at home at dccca. I'm blessed to have had the experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DCCCA!!

This review is for the adult unit. My stay here was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was treated respectfully by staff the whole time, and came away with useful, practical tools to improve my mental health going forward. A few of the staff are absolutely exceptional and it's clear they were put on earth to do this job- Mr. Tracy, Ms. Melissa, Mr. Dan, and Ms. Dee Dee included. I received just as much help from the other patients as well, many of whom were caring and empathetic. It will be a great source of comfort in the future to know that this place is available should I ever need help again, I would not hesitate to go back. With that being said, your stay is absolutely what you make of it- to be truly successful you need to be proactive and actively participate in your own recovery.

went here in the summer time and my expeirence was okay some of the staff were unbareable to be around with because they made us seem like we are “too sensitive” but other than that most staff would listen to me and made me feel understood
