My 7 year old son was sent here bc his Dr gave him a strong dose of adhd meds and my son didn t do well with it. He had hallucinations & anxiety really bad. This staff not all but some were horrible to my child. Mind you he s only 7 and has never been away from me ever! He has never slept away from me and much less with strangers. So of course he cried his little eyes out as did I. I rented a hotel room in the city bc I lived 4 hours away and there was no way I was leaving my baby there by himself. I wanted to feel close to him and IKept reassuring him that everything would be fine and mommy was right down the road. But my kid still cried all day every day. So they gave him shots to calmHim down which I m sure didn t help his fear. Mind you my son is albino they kept him outside for hours until he was sunburnt! I was told he would stay there for 6 days. It ended up turning into 13 days! The longest 13 days of my life. All bc he wouldn t stop crying. Duhh he s a damn baby! Thankful to the one lady I had a talk with. She was so understanding. I can t remember her name. But when I told her our situation she assured me my baby would be discharged the very next day and he was! I couldn t wait to get my baby and run as fast as I could . God is so good bc my baby never needed treatment. He wasn t a bad kid or a kid who wanted to harm himself or others. He simply needed a detox from his meds. Almost a year later and no meds and my son is happy and thriving again! This place was horrible and didn t put any of the clothes I sent with my child. They lost his clothes to other kids. He would have a dirty face when I visited him everyday. I just thank God for recovery and a full restoration over my baby! The doctors got it wrong but God!!!!

I went when I was 11 and 13, my mom has even tried to get this place shut down. the way they treat the kids is with the upmost disrespect, they could care less if you ate or showered. I caught lice here because someone used my brush and someone used my toothbrush. there are no boundaries or cleanliness. they always gave me booty juice everytime I would cry and that s not okay for a child who is mentally unstable as it already is. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO BE SENT HERE!!!!!

Accepted Insurance

Liberty Healthcare Systems works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This place was one of the cruelest places I have ever been too. We never got any sense of help but instead were treated as though our lives and issues didn't matter. I wouldn't recommend this place. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN.

I went here from 10.11.24 to 10.18.24, and honestly even that was too long! So many kids had to suffer from a lack of therapy, group activities, and socialization because of the behavior of a select few! Kids were never allowed to go outside or even outside of their rooms. Also, there were no doors on the bathroom in our rooms, we weren’t allowed to closed the doors to the showers, and if you weren’t able to bring any soap or shampoo, you had to use a cup of soap the size of your pinky!

This was the worst ghetto, nasty, and horrible place to send your child the staff were rude as someone who had never been to a mental institution it was honestly traumatizing for the state i was already in.the staff were ghetto they talked about the people that were there and laughed at there problems.I feel as if the staff should be professional [IT WAS NOT ALL OF THE STAFF] they were rude very rude i have bad anxiety and for some to be rude to me it makes me not feel like i was in a safe environment i had a panic attack when crying to go home and they added a day to my stay because i cried you should try to help the people not force them to keep it in i also got laughed at for asking for a pad i don’t see anything funny about that.one of the staff told me to change my shorts and it’s because the “men” that go through the building if you don’t think the kids you have are safe to sleep and basically live there for a few days then get them out! they also had bugs bed bugs roaches they said bed bugs but i was not there to experience that.overall it was a very very unpleasant stay.

I was 11 when I came, they were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful, I wanted to get my friend a personal hygiene product and one of the mentors remember my name out of spite, I had a breakdown because they weren’t taking care of me properly, what did they do? Send me to a blue room, I was banging and crying at the door, had to pee but no one would answer, after they finally let me out I was told, the people who put me in there was off their shift and no one knew I was there.

⚠️READ THIS⚠️ If I could put a lower rating I would. I was 12 or 13 when I went to Cypress Grove and the best way I can describe it is ghetto, unprofessional, nasty, and honestly scary. There was excessive dirt EVERYWHERE, disturbing things carved into walls, my sink AND toilet did not work and there was no toilet paper, I did not get the proper essentials they’re supposed to provide like a comb/brush, a toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and I had personal items they “locked up” stolen from me. Staff would hover over you during timed phone calls. The staff were very loud and explicit. I was hit by a male staff because I simply asked for water, keep in mind men were not supposed to be in the girls section. For dinner most of the time they gave us 2 pieces of bread (they told a few of the girls to pinch off the moldy part), 1 slice of ham that smelled weird and a mustard packet. The showers were timed and we only had 5 minutes. The whole girls unit had 1 shower without a curtain and the door had to stay open, while the door was open there was at least 1 staff member who watched you and if you took longer than 5 minutes they would MAKE you get out. There was a huge bottle of soap we all used and the label was ripped off but I’m almost positive it was dish soap, we could only get about a tablespoon of the soap for our hair and body. I was there for over a week and I saw a therapist 2 times for roughly 20 minutes. When it was bedtime staff would sit outside your door with their phone blasting, laughing, talking, just being disrespectful. Honesty I don’t know how to describe the staff any other way then ghetto. If someone is struggling mentally enough to be sent to a mental hospital then why put them in an environment that will just stress them out even more?

I recently was here from march 26 - may 08 2024 . The STAFF had no training in how to do most things correctly. They don’t know how to really treat kids with special needs. They are very very rude . I’ve wanted to file a complaint since I got there. They hit on others kids and everything. There were so many girls for placement that have been suffering with this for months . It’s a MENTAL FACILITY everyone’s gonna have problems . The staff would Js handle it by talking about the kids or something. They talked about me the whole time I was there n it really made me feel more down on myself. not to mention they have bed bugs and roaches everywhere. Including spiders. I woke up to a roach in my shower bucket once and had to get a new everything. This hospital isn’t sanitary or safe for anyone’s kids. Please don’t allow your kids to go here! Not to mention the staff will get so mad when they get called out about the wrongs they’re doing .. I remember I reported something about the staff to their supervisor and someone listened in ! They were so mad at me for speaking my truth and telling they’re supervisor everything that they were doing. I’m so glad someone bought this place out. I hope it changed for the better
