My experience at Palmetto was really good. The counselors and staff were amazing—so caring, supportive, and always willing to help whenever I needed it. They truly care about your recovery and make you feel comfortable and understood.
What I really liked is that it’s not like you’re confined. You have freedom and responsibility—they take you to the store, you do your own shopping and cooking, and you live in a cabin with other females. It really feels more like a community than a program. If there’s ever an issue between clients or if someone feels uncomfortable, the staff is great about rearranging cabins so everyone feels safe and supported.
Overall, Palmetto is a great place that helps you grow, learn, and get the support you need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ready to make a positive change in their life.
I want to take a moment to thank all of the staff at Palmetto who made such a big impact on my life. Macy, my counselor—thank you for helping me see things in myself that I didn’t see before. You truly opened my eyes and helped me grow in so many ways.
Ms. Denise and Ms. Diane, you are both truly amazing. Ms. Tamika and Kaylee, and all the nurses including Tucker, thank you for being there for me when I wasn’t feeling well and for taking such good care of me. Clint was really cool people and great to talk with.

And one of my favorite parts was being by the bayou—it was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting out there, fishing or just enjoying the view, really gave me time to reflect and heal. And having all the cats and dogs around and watching the deers in the woods every day we're very therapeutic .

I would like to share as a parent who had a family member in treatment at Defining Wellness. My son was very well cared for here and I highly recommend this facility. Addiction affects the entire family, and, thanks to the amazing staff at DW, we also began to heal as a family.

Lincoln Nova is a great place for recovery! Excellent care with superior staffing that cares about the clients. The recreation therapist is the best in the business, and so is Ms. Andrea. I thank God I started going to Region 8. They have helped me so very much. I did have a few therapist that were not the right fit for me, so I requested a change and now I have been seeing the same one for over a year and have finally started seeing improvement. Everyone there has been great. The front desk staff are not the best but you find people who are not that nice at any place. The people who are there to help in the back have always been wonderful to me.

I have been very pleased with my son's doctor and therapist at Region 8. His doctor doesn't just write a prescription. She thoroughly questions my son and me to ensure he is getting the proper medicine, dose, and the proper care. His therapist is absolutely wonderful. She has consistently, every two weeks, visited my son at school, at home, and even now during the summer, for several years now. My son's Region 8 doctor and therapist work as a team with me and his teachers to make sure that my son gets the best care possible.

My experience with Fairland was one of the most welcoming and nurturing experiences by far. The place is ran by a few former addict's that have been through addiction and overcome addiction through Fairland. I like the fact that I can talk to an addict that has been through the struggle of addiction not just some snobby educated person who never been through addiction nor understand enough to express addiction unless it's they're on assumption looking from the outside in. If there's any active attic that struggling with addiction I would recommend falling as a straighten up and fly right route.

Ever since I was a little kid since I was nine they have helped me out all through my life through my mental health problems with that being said they have the best doctors best nurses all I can say is blessed people blessed therapist and caseworkers with some beautiful Receptionist

Actually facilities was extremely clean n comfortable spacious kinda. You do have to share room n bathroom with 1 to 3 other clients. Facility extremely good at what they do. Food was fantastic. At times u feel like there should be more to do but in the end sobering up n dealing with issues u will be grateful for the rest. I would recommend this facility to others the staff helped me n cared about me I’ll never forget them. Not 5 star only cause limited smoke breaks! They hold your smokes and there are 9 allotted smoke breaks a day. Issues with getting more when u ran out even tho u had money with u n they could go to the store for shampoo for u but refused to purchase smokes n u would get punished if caught sharing

I have family members that have been there and the staff were very kind and always helpful. The nurse practitioner is Very kind and patient evaluating every possibility to help someone the best way they can. Like most places they probably get super busy or behind at times, but that came with Changes with Covid.
I see the results of Region8 patients almost on a daily basis. Anything from depression, anxiety, alcoholism,, bipolar, schizophrenia, and more mental health issues for adults and children than I could ever list. Thank you, Region8 and all of your staff for your presence in our community. I greatly appreciate everything you’ve done for everybody. I’ve known that’s been there as well as helping those that I do not know.

My son spent 3 months at Stonewater a year and a half ago and had a fantastic experience. He thanked us for sending him and credited Stonewater with saving his life. After he came home he was able to participate in ongoing alumni support calls, and was doing well until recently when due to a couple of traumatic events in his life he fell back into old coping skills. I reached back out to Stonewater and received help in finding a great place for him to return to recovery, now as an adult, and Stonewater has continued to work with the staff at the new facility to make his care as seamless as possible. Even his counselor - whom he says is the best counselor he ever had - reached out to me by email immediately and is working with his new counselor and with him as he moves forward. Stonewater is an amazing place with amazing people who see their job as a mission. Do not hesitate to let them treat your son and trust them in the process!

We can’t praise Stonewater enough! Our son, our home was in need of intervention. Today I’m happy to report our son is over 1 year clean and our family trio is learning to listen and to be accountable to one another. It is a journey and process. With the continued support for not only the boys but the parents/families as well, it truly sets this place apart from other recovery centers.
Our backstory, Kaleb was 14 years old and on a path of destruction which ultimately landed him in juvenile detention. When facing the judge we pleaded with him to give him yet another chance, but this time was to be sent to Stonewater. After a lot of research including reading the many stories that sounded like ours, we felt like we had hope. A 90 program seemed like forever but it was worth every moment.
