I honestly was just telling my wife about this place and I have mixed feelings on all 3 reviews left because I do remember how I felt going and being there but nothing's changed honestly the workers are still the same and the kids going will still be the same the system didn't change much the structure needed from that place only comes if you want it or allow it man I think about what my 15/16 year old self was like and owe this place a abundantly large apology from Mr Deen the owner at that time or head person to Mr Marty we was young and hand no full understanding of what life was going to be if we continued the path we was on was drugs the answer no was shoe taking no outside time the answer is no that's all they can do to show consequences at that time the padded room the straight jacket when you to out of control the thorazine and Seroquel man listen thinking back now them the only options I gave them ppl who was trying to help me understand myself do I recommend this place still in my heart yes I do because when life finally catches you and you finally reflex you come to the same conclusion we need this place more than we knew at that time it's a reason we was there it's definitely your family's responsibility to help you in life some of them failed us this place picked us up while being lost and tried to fix us with tools they had I turned out still a messed up individual with Alot of things that I still hold to the chest because who would understand I am far better on this path thinking back on places like this so again hopefully this helps someone else makes a decision on wether or not to send a loved one or not here

While I was young I hated the place. But now as an adult I understand the need for it. It teaches structure and teaches you how to respect authority. These kids need that. However id only recommend this place for the worst behaved children.

My experience at Palmetto was really good. The counselors and staff were amazing—so caring, supportive, and always willing to help whenever I needed it. They truly care about your recovery and make you feel comfortable and understood. What I really liked is that it’s not like you’re confined. You have freedom and responsibility—they take you to the store, you do your own shopping and cooking, and you live in a cabin with other females. It really feels more like a community than a program. If there’s ever an issue between clients or if someone feels uncomfortable, the staff is great about rearranging cabins so everyone feels safe and supported. Overall, Palmetto is a great place that helps you grow, learn, and get the support you need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ready to make a positive change in their life. I want to take a moment to thank all of the staff at Palmetto who made such a big impact on my life. Macy, my counselor—thank you for helping me see things in myself that I didn’t see before. You truly opened my eyes and helped me grow in so many ways. Ms. Denise and Ms. Diane, you are both truly amazing. Ms. Tamika and Kaylee, and all the nurses including Tucker, thank you for being there for me when I wasn’t feeling well and for taking such good care of me. Clint was really cool people and great to talk with. Ms. Liz, thank you so much for giving me rides to my doctor’s appointments, and Ms. Kim, I really appreciate you for doing the same. Every single one of you made a difference in my journey, and I’ll never forget the kindness, support, and encouragement you gave me. And one of my favorite parts was being by the bayou—it was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting out there, fishing or just enjoying the view, really gave me time to reflect and heal. If you are looking for a safe place to come to get help for your self or someone you love, to overcome an addiction problem, then the Wilderness Deliverance Camp is the place for you. The Wilderness Deliverance Camp is a faith based organization that helps you to overcome addictions and address the needs of the client. After a 30 day review to see if both the client and the organization is a fit for one another, the client enters into a one year contract where they live and work on the ranch. They are provided housing and food at no charge. While working on the ranch, they learn certain skills in dealing with animals and they learn to work together as a team. You are expected to attend all Bible studies and attend all church functions on site. There is a beautiful fully functional church on site. You will be taught first of all to love yourself and then how to love others in a Christ like manner. I personally have seen how successful this program is and would strongly encourage you to check them out. You won't regret it!

The Centers is a great small facility that has helped my kid. The staff and counselors are great and very understanding. I like him going here compared to bigger facilities. This is the place to send your kid when they need the help we as parents can't give.

I recommend this place. The Community Laiason helped us so much with the admission. She answered any questions and was available whenever we needed her. She gave us peace in a troubled time and we felt like she genuinely cared about our whole family. The Counselor and nursing staff worked with us to help our child. Ms. Michelle was/is a natural leader and mediator. Darren, " black counselor", and Mr. Fletcher remained level headed and firm with staff and clients. Mr. Marvin is very considerate and calming on your way to and from rayville. Oan: hope I never need to return (unless it's to take Darren's job😅😁😀) oh, and Ms. Karon is one of the most leveled headed, straight forward, counselors there. I enjoyed her group (even with the coffee restrictions she abides by😌😉)

I had previously went for the suboxone treatment a long time ago in the past. Sadly it's wasn't a choice I made for myself. Now that I'm currently taking the treatment again and this time because I personally hit my rock bottom, I go to my therapy sessions anytime I can and listen as well as talk and those sessions have greatly helped me deal with my problems I have that pertains to my addiction. The Dr. Is always been kind and respectful and helpful towards me. I can say that every person that works there has a heart of gold because they don't have to care about any of us, yet they choose to. That shows amd tells me it's more that just a job to them it's actually a calling to be there for us. I have to update my review just to say I can honestly say I feel better about life, myself, belief in myself and many other stones that gor in my way for so many years . The staff here in eldorado wants you to succeed and believes in you than I did myself in the beginning I'm sure others k ow where I'm coming from. I know there is still work to be done and always will be work that needs to be done. THANK YOU ALL JESSE C. P.S. YALL HAVE SAVED MY LIFE IN MORE WAYS THAT COULD EVER BE EXPLAINED.

I wanted to express my gratitude to SARH for the care my mom received while there. I will probably forget a few people but wanted to thank Angel and her team on the 3rd floor for the exceptional care. Mom was later transferred to rehab on the 2nd floor where she also had exceptional care. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to some of her care team, Ms Kim and Mr Gene - YOU TWO were angels and honestly made each day the best! Mom still talks about you both. Thank you to OT and PT for also taking such good care of mom. Everyone was very compassionate and for that I’m grateful. Last but definitely not least I want to thank Dr Smart for his compassion and care he gave mom while in his care, you are the best and appreciated.
