We had a good group of guys coming in, however and moreover, the absolute best rehab facility. Besides the fact that they lost a $25 Slime brand bicycle tire air pump still unopened that they wouldn't replace.

I attended Pecan Haven several times over the past 2 years. I have struggled with the disease of addiction since I was 18 and I'm currently 29. Each and every time I arrived I was broken and scared for my life in drug induced phycosis from methamphetamine I was treated with the upmost care from the staff to the clients the atmosphere is amazing there. Loving and caring. The staff is a notch above the rest because they have been there too. They know both sides addiction and recovery. I've had three counselors from my multiple times there from Ms.Cassie to Mr.Brad to Ms.Brooke and each one of them gave me tools that I use in recovery today. The last time I went there I was in a prison of my own demons locked in a hotel by myself smoking meth scared to death. I reached out and Mr.Shadley Powell personally came and picked me up and got me in the same night within a hour. They got me placed in awesome sober living where I'm currently doing well and I will always be grateful for my experience with Pecan Haven 5 out 5 stars

My experience at Palmetto was really good. The counselors and staff were amazing—so caring, supportive, and always willing to help whenever I needed it. They truly care about your recovery and make you feel comfortable and understood.
What I really liked is that it’s not like you’re confined. You have freedom and responsibility—they take you to the store, you do your own shopping and cooking, and you live in a cabin with other females. It really feels more like a community than a program. If there’s ever an issue between clients or if someone feels uncomfortable, the staff is great about rearranging cabins so everyone feels safe and supported.
Overall, Palmetto is a great place that helps you grow, learn, and get the support you need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ready to make a positive change in their life.
I want to take a moment to thank all of the staff at Palmetto who made such a big impact on my life. Macy, my counselor—thank you for helping me see things in myself that I didn’t see before. You truly opened my eyes and helped me grow in so many ways.

And one of my favorite parts was being by the bayou—it was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting out there, fishing or just enjoying the view, really gave me time to reflect and heal. And having all the cats and dogs around and watching the deers in the woods every day we're very therapeutic .

We just completed one a few days ago on how great Dr Christopher Bernaise and his staff are and how much Angel loves him.
Dr Bernaise’s rating is not just good, he is great. His rating is excellent on everything and my Down Syndrome daughter Angel loves him and looks forward to her visits with him.He really helps her on her everyday life and what she should do at home and when she has to go out. She has never had a psychiatrist that comes anywhere close to competing with Dr Christopher Bernaise. I went to this treatment program and it was the best thing I ever did for my addiction. Longer programs are more effective and they reunited me with my child and I have had full custody of him for over 4 years now. This is the longest I've ever been clean from drugs 5 years now. People who talk down on this program obviously did not invest themselves in the program to get the true help they needed. Literally the best thing I ever did I'd probably be dead if I hadn't gone here when I did. Thank you to all the staff there who helped save my life!

I went to treatment here for about 4 months. I LOVED IT. I learned so much there, about addiction, parenting, how to be a decent human being etc. The staff are amazing.. they really go above and beyond, EVERY DAY, for their clients. Both of the Amys do such a great job at teaching the core classes and counseling to work on specific issues that have impacted your life. It’s a trauma informed environment. It’s also a sanctuary environment. I highly recommend IFW to any woman wanting help with her substance abuse issues because this place seriously changed my life. 100%.

Amazing staff! I cant say enough great things about the methodist's staff! Ive been helping my brother in law through a traumatizing illness. Ultimately ending in an above the knee amputation and the death of my sister. The staff has been amazing! My only complaint is their signage. If you are visiting the facility in Flowwood, do yourself a favor....CALL and ask for directions! Its a large facility with multiple buildings and entrances. The signage needs an improvement!

I was feeling so bad so I googled walk in clinics near me and this clinic popped up. The Geoffrey place I always go to is reviews all I saw was 5 stars. I sad this is the spot. I was called and was seen the same day and now I have a local PCP. All stay was polite, polite, and very professional. I was addicted to narcotic pain medicine for over 13 years and my doctor that gote addicted got shut down for writing too many narcotic prescriptions then I moved to a different town and brought my records from previous doctor and none of the doctors I went to would give me any so I started buying them illegally on the streets every day. But when I started BAART 5 years ago I got off of all illegal drugs I done in my life and was no longer in excruciating pain when I didn't take narcotic pain pills. Their program changed my life for the better. The only problem I've had is every counselor they assign me gets to know me and then they change my counselor. I've had like 5 or 6 in 5 years.

Wow, I'm shocked at previous reviewers. I don't know their whole story, but I'll share mine.
The office staff were kind, respectful, and knew me by name after the first week.
The therapists I met with were professional, used up to date research and evidence based interventions.
I had a miscommunication issue about money, and the director called me herself to make sure she understood my issue. She listened and understood. More than working out the money, she was safe and trustworthy to problem solve with.
I would recommend the Shephearst experience to anyone.

I was in building 81 in 2015. Majority of staff was very helpful and understanding. I knew it wasn’t going to be great but I obeyed the rules and worked the program. I have been sober for four years and attend meetings weekly. I’m very grateful to God.

Really enjoyed Hope, Naomi, and Jim. I went in for anxiety treatment back in 2015. I was in the adolescent program. I didn’t enjoy the intern they had at the time, because he purposely triggered my anxiety to get me to react. He made me have a panic/ anxiety attack to see how I’d react to it. I did not enjoy going to the down range camp either because I was extremely triggered there as well. But overall I enjoyed the experience. Hope was my favorite. I liked the art therapy & being outside. It was a safe place for most of the time.
Update:
I had to come back and seek treatment again. It was not a bad experience. My only issue is that my eating disorder was not properly addressed or really even acknowledged. But most everyone on the staff was amazing. They were patient with me. They gave me tools I needed in order to cope. I just loved Angela, Chris, Amy, Sherry, and Paula. Art therapy was a good time. Dr. H always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome. Cheryl was truly an amazing nurse that made you feel safe. I appreciated Karen’s insight. Sherry was the least judgmental therapist on staff. I will miss them all.

I came here for treatment a few years ago, suffering with what I consider to be immense anxiety and depression.
I had an amazing experience here. All of their therapists handled my case very well. Amy, the art therapist, was truly one of a kind. I have taken some of her skills and used them in my own personal life, to this day. I am a teacher now, and I have taught the kids many coping skills that I learned from here. I still very much appreciate the time that Hope took with me to help me heal from my disordered eating. She went above and beyond during our lunch sessions, which is something I will never forget, and always thank her for. Pamela was my therapist, and I felt like she showed great compassion through her work. There was one therapist here that when I presented my issues, they disregarded them and told the group not to help me. I felt very shameful after that, but I have since forgiven that therapist and hope that it was just a mistake. I will never forget the warm, and safe feeling that I experienced anytime I was around David.Cheryl was a great nurse, I could tell she cared about her patients more than anything. Yancey is an absolute angel, who was willing to work with my financial issues, due to me being a young adult and paying for the program myself.Evan was a very safe person to be around, and I appreciated him greatly also. Overall, I feel like this is for sure a safe place, and if I were to fall back in a dark place, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I attribute this place to saving my best friend's life. She was there for several months. I saw her nearly every day during this time, driving her there and picking her up and I recall her speakingly highly of ALL the therapists as well as the office staff and owners. These folks become like your family. She was particularly fond of Pamela, Hope, Cheryl, and Dr. Jones. The art therapy was a favorite, and the circle time was very healing as she was able to learn that there were people with similar issues as her and that many had much worse problems. The Christian overtones were comforting and restoring. She learned coping skills and things about herself that have allowed her to thrive. Anyone struggling with a mental health issue, trauma, crisis, or addiction would benefit from this place. When your sick and tired of being sick and tired, reach out to this place. They will welcome you and support you from start to finish.
