I have gone a couple times and the staff have been great I would recommend this place before anywhere else and I have been to other place. Woodlake changed my life. The staff there was very good to me and worked with me whenever I needed anything. We had a good group of guys coming in, however and moreover, the absolute best rehab facility. Besides the fact that they lost a $25 Slime brand bicycle tire air pump still unopened that they wouldn't replace.

I attended Pecan Haven several times over the past 2 years. I have struggled with the disease of addiction since I was 18 and I'm currently 29. Each and every time I arrived I was broken and scared for my life in drug induced phycosis from methamphetamine I was treated with the upmost care from the staff to the clients the atmosphere is amazing there. Loving and caring. The staff is a notch above the rest because they have been there too. They know both sides addiction and recovery. I've had three counselors from my multiple times there from Ms.Cassie to Mr.Brad to Ms.Brooke and each one of them gave me tools that I use in recovery today. The last time I went there I was in a prison of my own demons locked in a hotel by myself smoking meth scared to death. I reached out and Mr.Shadley Powell personally came and picked me up and got me in the same night within a hour. They got me placed in awesome sober living where I'm currently doing well and I will always be grateful for my experience with Pecan Haven 5 out 5 stars

This is my son's second time at woodlake..he was clean about a year. With all the storms and hurricanes and pandemic caused him a relapse. I was addicted to narcotic pain medicine for over 13 years and my doctor that gote addicted got shut down for writing too many narcotic prescriptions then I moved to a different town and brought my records from previous doctor and none of the doctors I went to would give me any so I started buying them illegally on the streets every day. But when I started BAART 5 years ago I got off of all illegal drugs I done in my life and was no longer in excruciating pain when I didn't take narcotic pain pills. Their program changed my life for the better. The only problem I've had is every counselor they assign me gets to know me and then they change my counselor. I've had like 5 or 6 in 5 years.

Wait times to get appointments aren’t the greatest, but hey that’s the VA for you. Besides that I’ve never had a bad experience in 1 1/2 years of going here for all my health needs. Everyone is very nice and respectful, constantly checking in to see if you need anything.

Wow, I'm shocked at previous reviewers. I don't know their whole story, but I'll share mine.
The office staff were kind, respectful, and knew me by name after the first week.
The therapists I met with were professional, used up to date research and evidence based interventions.
I had a miscommunication issue about money, and the director called me herself to make sure she understood my issue. She listened and understood. More than working out the money, she was safe and trustworthy to problem solve with.
I would recommend the Shephearst experience to anyone.

I was in building 81 in 2015. Majority of staff was very helpful and understanding. I knew it wasn’t going to be great but I obeyed the rules and worked the program. I have been sober for four years and attend meetings weekly. I’m very grateful to God.

Powerhouse was a great experience. It helped me to be grateful for everything I have in my life. I was given an amazing opportunity to practice the principles I learned in my inpatient program. I was given opportunities to help others and bond with fellow patients. The staff are all Powerhouse alumni and are very passionate and knowledgeable about recovery. I am extremely fortunate to have gone through the Powerhouse program and absolutely recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction who is looking for a path to recovery.

The doctors at this center were wonderful with me. I had suffered suicidal thoughts all my life, and in this place I received the necessary help to confront my problems, I will never forget the things I learned in this place, I learned that life is worthwhile. I highly recommend this place.

I am new to the area, and was driving by, so I just pulled in. I was greated warmly and had the best service I have ever gotten in a va facility. I made sure I was set for here and actually got to be seen in 30 minutes. The doc and nurses were really interested in helping. The lab tech was super! I got appointments for further care. Thank you guys!

We just completed one a few days ago on how great Dr Christopher Bernaise and his staff are and how much Angel loves him.
Dr Bernaise’s rating is not just good, he is great. His rating is excellent on everything and my Down Syndrome daughter Angel loves him and looks forward to her visits with him.He really helps her on her everyday life and what she should do at home and when she has to go out. She has never had a psychiatrist that comes anywhere close to competing with Dr Christopher Bernaise. Please give him all of the praise and of course a great raise on what he does for Glenwood and his patients.
