I’m almost finished here. This place is so nice. I’ve learned so much about who I am as an addict and how to live life sober. They want you to succeed here. You can do it if you want it. This is the best option for treatment. Totally worth the 6 hour drive here.

WOW! There are literally no words to express the amount of love and gratitude I have for this place. Starting from the first phone call to ask for help was patient and caring. Every single staff member no matter what position, Nurse, TA, therapist, cleaning staff , case manager,kitchen , nurse practitioner, counselors. Was the most kind, caring, loving experience I've ever had. I'm truly grateful for this place saving my life as well as my husband. This place will always hold a special place in my heart! I can't share enough praise about Stonewater. It was truly a life changing experience for our whole family. What Stonewater does is incredible and more programs like this should be funded. The team not only addresses the child's addiction, but in tandem addresses their mental health. They do their best to understand the child as a whole person that may have experienced trauma or if the child is dealing with neurodivergence or possibly a mental health issue that has not been addressed. The Stonewater program heavily incorporates the family into the healing process in order to teach the family as well as the child new ways of responding and interacting with the child's addiction. The team is very communicative, transparent and kind. Once you get settled in you never feel alone and lost. And if you do, all you have to do is let them know and they will help you as a parent feel less that way. One of the greatest components of the team is the nursing staff. Some inpatient recovery centers do not have a full time nurse on staff, but Stonewater does and she truly cares for the kids. My child has an autoimmune issue and was turned away from a different recovery center, but Stonewater was able to take him because of their full time nurse. Another wonderful part is the bi-monthly zoom calls with other parents from the program that is led by two wonderful people. Also, the property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. My child benefitted greatly from Stonewater and has been sober almost 6 months. He graduated from the Stonewater program and has stayed connected through alumni calls and reconnected with friends from the program. We as a family have a solid foundation with which to stand now and know that we can always reach back out if we need to.

Sending my son to Stonewater was the hardest decision I had ever had to make. He has now graduated, and I can say it was absolutely the right decision. I received frequent communication from his caregivers. I was able to talk to him & see him on family days. It was a tough 90 days but knowing how he was doing and seeing his progress brought me peace. He left Stonewater committed to staying clean. I have felt supported by them in his transition to aftercare. No part of this is easy, but Stonewater has made every effort to support my son & our family. I am grateful to all the staff at Stonewater that changed my son’s life.

In the midst of the hardest decision we ever made, Stonewater’s team brought us comfort and relief. Our son is now 4 months sober and the amount of therapy and individual support he received saved his life. They really care about them as individuals but also have a great program for the parents as well. And, now he can still stay connected as an Alumni! His therapist called us the day after he was at his new sober living place out of genuine care and that meant a lot to us. It’s the perfect balance of hard boundaries and high expectations but also love and encouragement for what these teens need as they come from addiction to living life again!

In my experience, this location is by far the best one in Memphis. At one time I was coming in with an infant and the staff was wonderful enough to keep him occupied long enough for me to do what was needed. I couldn’t ask for a better counselor! No one makes you feel as if you should stay On the medication any longer than you want to. Everything is up to you. I would def recommend it to anyone thinking about going.

I couldn't have asked for a better Sober Living experience. The sober living homes are beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. I am appreciative of the loads of groceries provided for the house, as well as, the freedom given to work a job while there. A house with other women on the path of recovery gave me a sense of community and safety. We were provided transportation to meetings, jobs and Walmart which gave us time to meet others and go shopping. The classes are on the same campus as housing so it was very convenient. We came together as a community and had cookouts, played games and even went bowling. The director, therapist, coordinators and nurses are very understanding and more than willing and committed to helping and guiding us through our recovery progress. This is one of the best Sober Livings around and I would recommend it to anyone interested in changing their lives for the better. Thank you OTC.

To say this center “transformed” me would be an understatement… the Transformation Center is a place where you are not only seen, but you are heard by unimaginable comparisons. I want to thank my individual therapist, Star, who helped me go deeper within myself. Shelbee, who taught most of my young adult group sessions is a fan favorite as well. The techs here are amazing and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you have everything that you need. The houses are super comfortable and are a recovering addicts dream. This place most definitely helps recovering addicts and alcoholics get the level of care, support, and supervision that they need. This place has helped to slowly integrate me into society and helps to teach you how to live again without drugs and alcohol to function.

Pax recovery .i myself have been here going on me a month now .And it's a good program .I would recommend it to others .We do attend groups daily and do go to out side meeting .They are very careing and strong with our recovery .Our choices and wants actaully matter here to them and they will go out there way to make it happen for us.They do provide food card to us .N they will help you get food stamps .The houseing is amazing and the people here are cool .I haven't had any issuse while being here.The techs here have been in our shoes and wants nothing but the best from us .Thos is a great program and o came from Florida to be here .I haven't used or had any THOUGTHS of using .I would recommend this program .And there willing to help you once your ready to leave .They go above and beyond for us .All are very respectful .Go here if you need help .But like every good days you may have bad days and there are many to talk to here weather it's a tech or us ours selfs.

Spero Health has been helping me out tremendously. The Doctor Warhaftig is an awesome doctor. The counselor Xtasy Grinn is super awesome as well. I love group therapy and getting to talk about my addiction and how far I've come. Don't get me wrong I still struggle. But I still have a long way to go. I've been going to spero health since the end of March and early April. And this now May. I'm happy that I've chose to do my recovery treatment plan with spero health I'd highly recommend them and wouldn't have it any other way.

I highly recommend HEC. I see Jaimie for EMDR and CBT therapy biweekly. She is among the best therapists I have ever had. She is great at putting things into a new perspective and giving me extremely useful tools and coping strategies. I trust her completely and cannot sing her praises enough. The rest of the staff is very friendly and warm as well.

For my 12 year old.she drifts off.she jumps out of her sleep.terrified that her dad is going to do something to her.he has destroyed her mental and physically.every since she was 7.she so gone .i have to call her name more than 5 times to get het attention. And she anti social.dont like crowds i think she has anxiety and moderate depression .she feels like she not beautiful and people calls her ugly. I think this trauma her father caused messed her up.he pulled a gun on her,let her other siblings brothers touch and feel on her.and made her sleep in a cold basement for days at a time wouldnt feed her.when i got her back she was mt.nourished.she didn't look the same .i couldn't recognize who she was.he brung back her back dirty and hungry .she needs help.she shuts me out.when i asks her what's wrong with her. I try to make her feel safe,letting her know that she is safe and harm will never come to her and that she dont have to be afraid of anything or her father .i worry about her every day and i comfort her when shes down.she under me most of the time.and sometimes we just sit around,and she'll just start talking about what her other siblings and farther have done to her out of nowhere. When she vents to me.about it i get furiated and mad.but i dont let her see that.ithink i felled her as a mom.i wasnt there to save her from this abuse.but she dont hold that against me. She new i was going through alot at that time .she understood.i just want her to be more open with me.and her other 2 sisters,who's 13 and11.i wanthem close like they where when they was little.my other 2 daughter's are going through something too.they both lost their farthers. I dont have clue how they feel.ive asked them,how are they feeling.they say they alright.but their strongs little girls.and they dont let show .but i know.im their mom.thats all my girls know .ALL WE HAVE IS EACH OTHER..THATS ALL WE NEED TO KNOW. I was admitted to Lakeside Hospital's Patriot unit on 6/28/26 for alcohol detox. The Patriot unit is only for military veterans. After completing my intake, I was brought up to my unit. It was around 1 AM When I got up there they showed me to my room and I was allowed to just crawl in bed and get some sleep. They wake you up at 4:45-5 AM every morning and immediately take your vital signs. After that, we had coffee and were taken downstairs to smoke a cigarette. After that, we come back upstairs and we can either go back to bed, or sit in the day room and watch TV until breakfast, which is not until 8:45 AM. A bit long of a wait if you asked me. We eat our meals downstairs in the cafeteria. It has a nice view of a pond and really tall trees. The food is less than stellar to say the least. All 3 meals. You will definitely gain weight by the time you are eventually discharged. Very high calorie food. The food there is hit or miss. Some meals were great! Others I would not even give to my dogs. Many patients ended up constipated. After we ate we usually had some sort of group "therapy". If your hoping to receive classes on the reason why you are there "Alcohol, drugs, anxiety, depression" you won't be getting them. The classes they teach are absolutely irrelevant to your treatment plan, and I felt the classes were intended to just kill time during the day. I got nothing out of them and I eventually stopped attending. We also have a recreational class everyday. Games, art, trivia, bingo. If it's not raining they open the doors so you can go outside and get some sun and fresh air. I really enjoyed that class. You get your meds 2 times a day. Early morning, and around 8pm. There is a ton of downtime to relax, play games, watch movies, or nap. You can do laundry 2 times a week, and visitation is on Monday Evening from 6:30-730. This is the ONLY time you will be able to see your family or friends. There are phones in your unit that you can use at certain times of the day. Lights out is at 10 pm. I just wanted to let you all know what a typical day consists of at this place. But, like I said, I was in the Patriot unit. It was always laid back and relaxing. Now....the other units in the building are a nightmare. 3 people to a room compared to our 2 per room. I honestly had my own room for 9 out of 11 nights which was awesome. The East unit is constant chaos. That is where they send the troublemakers and psychos. Constantly fighting, screaming, and arguing. The West unit is pretty much the same but less fights. They use the term "Code Yellow" when a big fight has broken out. I heard that over the intercom at least 10 times a day for the East unit. All in all I had a really good detox. The meds saved my life to be honest. If I had to rate my own experience in my particular unit, I would give it a 9/10. Only because they wake you up way too early for no reason. Our unit techs were incredible! Shout out to Dean, Kristy, Ethan, and also Amber our daytime medicine nurse. They were all amazing They made daily life, during a very difficult time, very enjoyable and comfortable. Always taking care of our needs such as getting us water, clean linens, towels and shower stuff, snacks, or just having a conversation. Well, that's pretty much all I got. Im a graduate here this place is awesome filled with Christ and love and positivity they teach you so much about Jesus Christ and the Bible! They go out and serve their community regularly every week totally Spirit driven place staff all went through the program so they know exactly what it's like. Anybody in that building would pretty much give you the shirt off their back or help you out anyway they could. God use this place too change people and live and circumstances he did it for me with this place! I recommend all day it's not easy it's tough sometimes but anything worth having ain't easy to do!!!! I love these guys !!! And you got a family for life after you graduate!!!
