Etta, MS | Oxford Treatment Center is located in Etta, Mississippi. At this facility, they specialize in providing treatment to adults who are struggling with addiction. They also off | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My experience at Oxford Treatment Center was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into a peaceful, tranquil environment that immediately put me at ease. The entire campus has a warm, family-like atmosphere where the staff genuinely cares about your well-being. They are nurturing, supportive, accepting, and never judgmental.
One of the most meaningful aspects of treatment was being surrounded by others who understood the same struggles, addictions, and challenges. It created a sense of belonging and reminded me that I was not alone in my journey. Oxford gave me a safe place to be myself while working toward becoming the person I wanted to be again.
The program offers incredible support, educational classes, and coping strategies that helped me better understand my addiction and develop the tools needed for recovery. Equine therapy was especially powerful for me. Spending time with the horses, riding, and connecting with nature allowed me to experience God's beauty and find peace during the healing process.
I also benefited greatly from the art therapy, holistic wellness therapy, and the 12-Step Walk. The holistic wellness program was particularly impactful because it helped me recognize something I had struggled with for years—I was constantly putting the needs of others ahead of my own. As a lifelong people pleaser, I often neglected my own physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being while trying to take care of everyone else. Through holistic wellness activities, self-reflection, and staff guidance, I learned that self-care is not selfish. In fact, recovery taught me that I must first take care of myself before I can effectively support others. This realization was both challenging and freeing, and it has become one of the most valuable lessons I will carry forward in my recovery journey.
The art therapy sessions provided a creative and therapeutic outlet for expressing emotions that were sometimes difficult to put into words. The 12-Step Walk offered a meaningful opportunity for reflection, growth, and a deeper understanding of the recovery process. Together, these experiences helped me develop healthier ways to cope with stress, process emotions, and build a stronger foundation for long-term sobriety.
Oxford Treatment Center also provides many recreational activities, such as volleyball, wiffle ball, fishing, and other opportunities to build healthy relationships and enjoy life in recovery without the use of alcohol. The center taught me that it's okay not to be okay and that facing uncomfortable emotions is an important part of healing. Every day, I was greeted with smiles, encouragement, and genuine kindness from both staff and peers.
Oxford Treatment Center gave me another chance at life and the opportunity to begin a new chapter filled with hope and purpose. I am deeply grateful for the support, friendships, and healing I found there. Thank you to everyone at Oxford Treatment Center for helping me rediscover myself, strengthen my faith, and believe in a brighter future.

I recently completed the 30 day treatment at Oxford. From the moment I made the call to the day of my discharge, the entire staff at Oxford were amazing. Professional, friendly, engaging, caring and above all they all made me feel comfortable every day. No judgments, no attitudes no treating the patients like children. Respect was everywhere. I thoroughly appreciate the care afforded to me at Oxford. At 45yrs old with a lifetime of using, this was my first shot at recovery. I believe this was the right time and place for me in my life to make the change. I encourage any and all who feel the same to make the call, Get into treatment and hopefully you find yourself in Etta Ms. This experience has changed my life in more ways than one. The lessons and group sessions enabled me to get the right tools and basic answers to navigate my recovery. A shout out to Barry who always got the room going with positive reinforcements and especially awards day. ( Love those Frappes)! The entire staff deserves a raise. The TA’s, Therapists, Counselors, drivers, nurses, administration and especially the food service staff. Always made my day to chat with them about southern cooking. As cabin liason I periodically had the privilege of welcoming newcomers on their first day, showing them around and easing the pressure of the unknown. From Equine therapy, art, music, holistic wellness basketball court, work out room and the ropes course Oxford has it all to help “rewire the brain” for a healthy recovery. I can’t thank enough, everyone I’ve met along the way as well. The group of people I made connections with is unbelievable. Some will remain life long friends on the road to recovery. This was a five star experience for me and highly recommend for those seeking honest help.
Much Respect,
“Rhode Island.”

Oxford, MS | Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center is a Joint Commission accredited substance use and co occurring (dual diagnosis) disorder treatment center for adolescents. While there is no residential program for girls, | Treatments Programs Payment Options | During a dark time for our family, the best referral we have ever received is to StoneWater Recovery for our adolescent son. The 90 day program is precisely what our son and our family needed. From the staff, to the setting, to the program, we thought StoneWater was incredibly thoughtful and effective in their delivery of mental health and substance use treatment. Our son went through some challenging personal experiences while there, all in the loving hands of the StoneWater therapists, staff and other young men in the program. We could not recommend StoneWater enough.

I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for the team at Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center. From the moment my son arrived, he was met with compassion, structure, accountability, and genuine care. Over the course of 90 days, I watched my son who felt lost begin to rediscover purpose, confidence, and hope again. The staff not only supported him through recovery, but also supported my family through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Every therapist, mentor, staff member, and peer played a role in helping him believe in himself again. The level of dedication, communication, and compassion shown here is something we will never forget. Recovery is a lifelong journey, but Stonewater gave my son a foundation to continue building on, and for that I am endlessly thankful.

As parent’s we were terrified, but choosing Stonewater was the best decision for our son. We spoke to the owners, The Fikes Family, from the beginning and they truly guided us from the beginning to the end. They have lived through addiction so they know the pain and they have followed the process themselves. So they personally have seen the process work. The staff truly cares about adolescent boys and their recovery. They treated our son with dignity. The counseling staff is so supportive and caring. They are wonderful at tough love. Our son was not so kind to his therapist in the beginning but she stood by him and they became the best of friends. He trusted her so much by the end. The RA’s and other support staff love their jobs and give so much of themselves to support those in recovery. The family program helped us heal and understand the process. We would highly recommend Stonewater to any parent looking for a compassionate, safe, and structured environment for their son. We cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for giving us our son back.

I am beyond grateful for the transformation center and its impact in my life. The clinicians are amazing and care to see patients succeed! I walked away with tools to advocate for myself and feel better equipped to cope in the struggles of daily life post trauma/grief. This is an amazing place for healing and learning more about trauma, ADHD, OCD, and a plethora of other things and how they can show up in your life. They say healing takes a village, and Oxford Resolutions has truly been that village for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth, understanding, and genuine care. This program is, without question, the best treatment experience I’ve ever had.
Hi I’m Chaz aka IGYPT and I’m a in recovery addict proudly sober now!!

Her support, her follow-through, and her genuine care are unmatched. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and set up for success. Her guidance is priceless.
Therapists:
The therapy team at Oxford is something special. Each therapist brings their own unique energy and expertise:
• Brandon connects with clients on a real level. He brings humor, understanding, and relatability to group sessions, making difficult lessons easier to absorb.
• Cekeidria “Kiki” is incredibly detailed and gets straight to the core of what needs to be addressed. She presents things in a way that clicks and opens your eyes in the best way.

Inpatient addiction treatment This prog | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My husband and I are pleased with the results for our granddaughter. It took less than the original estimated time. We have our girl back and the worries are much lower. I will probably always look for signs of a relapse but I really feel she learned many new coping skills that she can use for the rest of her life. Thanks to all the Doctors, Therapists and staff. I know it was not an easy transition. She fought it for half of her stay. Bless all of you.

I am KaNiya White, and I consider myself a proud Compass veteran. I attended Compass PHP five times between the ages of 14 and 18 between 2021 and 2025. Compass truly helped shape who I am today. I often say I grew up there because many staff members knew me across multiple admissions and continued to support me. At times, it genuinely felt like a second family.
PHP is not perfect. The days are long, there is limited outdoor time, frequent peer conflict, and you spend much of the day in the same spot. You are often expected to ignore peers who intentionally provoke you, group punishments can feel unfair, and the schoolwork is very basic, which can leave you behind academically. There were also a few staff members who were unprofessional at times, though they were NOT the majority.
What mattered most was the support. Many staff members were a genuine shoulder to cry on during some of the hardest moments of my life. I've had deep, life changing one on one conversations with staff who truly cared about me as a person. I trusted them deeply and they know things about me that even my parents do not. I genuinely do not think I would be alive today without the help I received at Compass.
I want to recognize staff who played an important role in my life. Mrs. Khalia, Nurse Nayla, Nurse Shylo, Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Loreda, Mrs. T, Mr. Travis, Mr. Zach, Mrs. V, Mrs. Tatianna, Mrs. Holloway, Mrs. Debra, Mr. Michael, Mrs. Katelyn, Nurse Connie, Mrs. Braden, Mrs. Kendra, Mrs. Kurshi, Mrs. Tamika, and Mrs. Trenika. Some no longer work there, but they deserve recognition for the impact they had on me.
My therapist, Mr. Zach, had the greatest impact. He never gave up on me, pushed me out of my comfort zone in a healthy way, and helped me find my voice. He challenged me when I needed it and supported me when things were hard. He was the best therapist I have ever had.
Despite its flaws, PHP also had meaningful positives. Step aways to talk privately with staff, process groups which were my favorite, the reward and Victory Bucks system, occasional art activities for victory members, and respect for preferred names and pronouns.
When I first came to Compass at 14, I was shy, withdrawn, and unsure of myself. When I left for the final time at 18, I had confidence, stronger coping skills, motivation to live, and had worked through my trauma. Compass inspired me to pursue psychology. I am now in college majoring in Psychology and working toward becoming an LPC, and I hope one day to give back the way Compass once gave to me by being an intern there somehow.
Overall, I am grateful for my time at Compass and for how much I grew there.

TIFFANY!!! The most helpful, sweet, and empathetic woman I’ve ever met. She’s the receptionist, and the only reason I don’t want to break ties with this establishment. Her smile brightens up the room, and her people skills are truly remarkable. She’s spoken to me on the phone and helped when no one else would. Just someone who genuinely cares about her position and you can tell! Keep up your beautiful work, Tiffany!! <3

I think this trauma her father caused messed her up.he pulled a gun on her,let her other siblings brothers touch and feel on her.and made her sleep in a cold basement for days at a time wouldnt feed her.when i got her back she was mt.nourished.she didn't look the same .i couldn't recognize who she was.he brung back her back dirty and hungry .she needs help.she shuts me out.when i asks her what's wrong with her. I try to make her feel safe, letting her know that she is safe and harm will never come to her and that she dont have to be afraid of anything or her father .i worry about her every day and i comfort her when shes down.she under me most of the time.and sometimes we just sit around, and she'll just start talking about what her other siblings and farther have done to her out of nowhere. When she vents to me.about it i get furiated and mad.but i dont let her see that.ithink i felled her as a mom.i wasnt there to save her from this abuse.but she dont hold that against me.
