Bunkie General helped my family when we had a Christmas day ankle sprain emergency. The staff were helpful, prompt and thorough. The hospital also provides an excellent Heart Health Center where I can use the gym which has excellent fitness equipment, cardio machines and weights. The hours are very flexible and there are many patients including some of my friends and family who are members and work through their doctor and physical therapist after surgery for heart and health rehab. These services are essential and well managed. I highly recommend Johnathon the fitness trainer at the Hospital, he has quickly helped me achieve some of my personal health goals.

I have gone a couple times and the staff have been great I would recommend this place before anywhere else and I have been to other place. I will be calling to go back next week I battle with anxiety depression and a addiction to fentanyl I am tired I want to get clean and stay clean I'm gonna try again and I pray I can succeed this time.

I was addicted to narcotic pain medicine for over 13 years and my doctor that gote addicted got shut down for writing too many narcotic prescriptions then I moved to a different town and brought my records from previous doctor and none of the doctors I went to would give me any so I started buying them illegally on the streets every day. But when I started BAART 5 years ago I got off of all illegal drugs I done in my life and was no longer in excruciating pain when I didn't take narcotic pain pills. Their program changed my life for the better. The only problem I've had is every counselor they assign me gets to know me and then they change my counselor. I've had like 5 or 6 in 5 years.

Well, there is always room for improvement. Regardless of what a place may specialize in. I was a patient there. Most people dont understand what the staff is up against daily. In my opinion, they do what is best for the patient. Although there are patients who require alternative measures. The patients mental, and physical well being is always their main concern.

I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. My child sees Dr. Hu, we just restarted treatment again, he has a serious attitude and is rude, asking questions like “well why are you here?” After telling him my child needs consistent TREATMENT for his adhd and behavior problems, even when all of my child’s information is in the system already. acts as though he knows how I discipline my child at home saying I’m not disciplining him right and etc. I as a parent knows my child and knows the help he needs! Dr. Hu is very rude and speaks with attitudes, I don’t recommend brining your kids here.

This hospital is a money racket. They charged me for Filling out paperwork. After the paper work was filled out and speaking to the staff. I realized this facility didn't provide the services I needed. So I declined scheduling an appointment. 3 weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $255.

I attended Pecan Haven several times over the past 2 years. I have struggled with the disease of addiction since I was 18 and I'm currently 29. Each and every time I arrived I was broken and scared for my life in drug induced phycosis from methamphetamine I was treated with the upmost care from the staff to the clients the atmosphere is amazing there. Loving and caring. The staff is a notch above the rest because they have been there too. They know both sides addiction and recovery. I've had three counselors from my multiple times there from Ms.Cassie to Mr.Brad to Ms.Brooke and each one of them gave me tools that I use in recovery today. The last time I went there I was in a prison of my own demons locked in a hotel by myself smoking meth scared to death. I reached out and Mr.Shadley Powell personally came and picked me up and got me in the same night within a hour. They got me placed in awesome sober living where I'm currently doing well and I will always be grateful for my experience with Pecan Haven 5 out 5 stars

This was the first rehab I had ever went to. This was in 2015 or 16 well they were located I think in Lafayette and when I got signed in to stay they were moving like the 3rd day that I was there to sunset location . It was cool to see . The old one looked like a house it was cool . I had came in and almost passed out and the nurses and staff made sure I was ok and saw a doctor and that mentally I was okay . I may not have been at my best but the staff and everyone here was so beyond kind and cared about everyone's sobriety and it was individualized and personal . It was pricey back then I'm not sure about now . I had ended leaving but I never forgot and alot of people will say it's about how people treat you that people remember. It helped me in the sobriety process . They were still kind and wanted me to stay so much but I needed something else . Well because I had went for the time length I stayed I got an AA book and I kept it all these years and today it still helps and has helped heal me. If it wasn't for that place I wouldn't know the AA way.
